Kind of expensive but what place isn't nowadays. My son had fun for his bday!
The arcade was in 2 small rooms but even though there wasn't a lot of games we still had a fun time. My only complaint was when we played mini golf ? it as hard to maneuver my stroller through the rocks and course. There wasn't a clear path for walking. Overall it was a fun place to go to for the day.
Love this place and they have awesome deals like double tickets ?? the first two hours of opening!! And go on groupon they have amazing discounts that includes credits and popcorn n a drink.tgey have golf n go karts but it's too cold now to enjoy but sunny days it's awesome!
This is the 1st time I have ever been here & the 1st time my son has been here for mini golf. The course is very well kept & clean. The staff is super friendly, which is a definite plus! My son is 11 & was excited to be able to ride the go karts by himself this time around. The manager on duty, MacKenzie(sp?) was super friendly. She came inside the arcade area to try to fix a problem some employees were having & took my drink order right after. The slushee machine was down, so I ordered 2 pops instead(perfe
My family has been here at least 3 times since we moved to this area and it's such awesome little place to go locally for kids! ????????We love to play the arcade games & go carting ,we actually haven't done the batting cages, and mini golf yet but we plan to in the very near future! ? We as parents love that they treat each and every kid very kindly and most not all of the staff were very helpful and sweet . Definitely going to bring my teen here with her girlfriends to hang out at. I feel it's very safe f
I had a wonderful time at this establishment! The staff was helpful and attentive. Amy, Shannon, and Tommy were terrific, and took great care of us! This is a great place for folks of all ages. We cannot wait to return!
Fun and games. Nice arcade section.
First time here and loved it. I have a 2.5year old who experienced mini golf and go carts for the first time. I personally don't agree about my 2.5yo having to pay for golf. I think it should be 5y and older but we did have a blast. I also think they should give "toddler-aged" prizes for the tickets won.
Never alot of people, very quiet & peaceful for family or date nights or even spending quality time with your children.. 8$ for miniture golf ?? 8$ forcgo carts rides for 5min witch is good ?? batting cages arcades room... it's A+ okay with me hands down..
Very nice Minigolf, fun obstacles, especially the hanging log. The windmill is my nemesis though.
This place offers the best bang for your buck and the people who work there are great. They just opened up a bar inside which makes this place the best in NW Indiana. They have batting cages, putt putt golf and the best go-carts around! THEY HAVE A HAUNTED HOUSE NOW!!!!!!!!!!
The miniature golf is always fun but the kids wanted to ride the go karts
We took our two grandsons to Zig-E's Funland and they enjoyed playing the ?rcade games. We bought our tickets from Groupon so each of the kids got a free popcorn and a drink along with 45 tokens. Now my grandsons are only 5 & 8, so they couldn't do the go-karts. However, the ?rcade machines kept them thoroughly entertained; shooting hoops, playing skee ball, and trying out the Space Invaders game. As grandparents, an hour there was enough. Therefore, the next time we're going to play miniature golf. The on
Zig-E's Funland is definitely a great place for the family. It reminds me of a smaller version of Haunted Trails in Bridgeview, IL, back in the day. Ask for Alexandra to work your kid's parties. Alexandra is definitely attenditive to the customer's needs and goes out of her way to make sure you are completely satisfied with your visit.
O.M.G. My husband and I lo be this place!!!! We go in the Summer and winter...It's a great place to haved fun! The staff is AMAZING! Surfing warmer months the outdoor attraction (go karts, batting cages, laser tag and the bungee trampoline)are super fun to participate in. We had our son's 5th birthday part here and he loved every moment of it! Zig-E's rocks! A party room and two arcades...Loads of fun!!!
Had a little birthday party for my daughter and 8 of her friends. The staff made it so easy! Shannon called me prior to the day to give me a run down and coordinate plans. Then Tim was our party guide for the day and he did a great job! Right in the beginning, we did a fun little basketball tournament and some of the guests won extra credits. Everything ran smoothly for the rest of the time spent in the party room. He even handled all of the drinks refills and serving of pizza. You cleaned up after us as t
This was my toddler son's first time miniature golfing. This was clean place, staff was friendly and helpful and he had lots fun.
I took my grandkids they blew through $20 each fast in arcade games. In other words the place changed a lot to just play a few games. In addition a lot of the games were broken and limited the kids ability to try other games.
Great place for family fun! However keep an eye out for hidden deals. They have buy one get one free deals with go-karts and mini golf. They won't tell you about them, which is very weird and suspicious. but if you bring up the buy one get one they must honor it
Decent miniature golf course. We had fun playing 18 holes. The go cart track is okay, is just really expensive. And the arcade is apparently just for rich kids. Almost every game is 1 dollar to play. I do not recommend the arcade, very little selection and it's expensive.
Nice place to take kid's to have fun they have the go karts outside which is even nicer plenty of game's for kid's
Nice place to take your family.
I recently had an amazing adventure at ZIG-E's Funland, and it exceeded all of my expectations! From thrilling go-kart races and intense laser tag battles to the classic fun of arcades, the excitement of batting cages, and the delightful challenge of mini-golf ? this place has it all! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. And, the affordable pricing makes it an excellent value for a day of entertainment. I look forward to visiting again to create more wonder
Things to do in the winter are limited to video games.
Black are not welcomed here, let's spend our money else where please. I am deeply frustrated and hurt by the discrimination I have faced because of my son disability. It is unfair and unjust that we are treated differently simply because of something that is out of my control. I deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, just like anyone else. The staff are very rude and discriminating. Witness today never again my child?s disability was made fun of one of the owners came out with no regards of my co
Nice, clean, friendly, quaint place. Just wish we had more around and they'd stay.
Great place for kids to hang out have some fun
Had such a great time here with my fam! Knocked a lot of stuff off my bucket list here and was really the highlight of my trip! Everyone was kind and helpful. Laser tag was so dope!!! Can't wait to visit again!
My wifey to be and I stopped by to kill some time before dinner and we spotted Zig-E's. We played mini golf, and I don't want to brag but I'm a natural lol. We had fun playing. Some tricky courses and lucky shots. Afterwards we played arcade games and had an overall good time here. I will be returning to do go carts and batting cages while my future wifey wants to try the bar lol.
Over priced!!!!! Service is mediocre at best. If you are with some friends and you want to goof around, cool. Taking kids here you'll easily waste your money.
My brother was getting ready to drive a go kart and they asked him how old is he and he said 9 his birthday recently passed so he wasn't familiar with his up to date age which is (10) the required age to drive and my mom explained that to the employee and her response was ?I don't care? didn't have any kind of compassion and sympathy if you are another of race besides white you are not welcomed to ziggies. We even talked to the owner of ziggies and his exact response was ?I don't believe that? I am disguste
Go on Thursdays for half off. Jesus loves you??
Fun! Friendly! Prices are very affordable and fair. Kids loved it. Watch out for the wind mill while golfing!
The place is clean, prices to play are a little high. There aren't many actual arcade games like I'd hoped. Which is what we were looking for. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. However, my Husband had asked about the batting cages. It was a fairly nice day, the employee said gate was locked but it was open...huh? My husband questioned him and he said well I could go open it if you really want me to. My husband just gave up feeling like it would be too much of an inconvenience for this employee to
Me, my sister and her boyfriend just came to zig e?s funland to play in the arcade and have fun. Though it was dead and raining today we came and as soon as we come back outside the employee said it is closed when it is only 7:30. The hours say it closes at 9. So I really don't appreciate this at all.
Use to like coming here. I had 2 of my daughter's birthday parties here. Now!!! It's way over priced and to win a prize they make it impossible 2000 tickets for a single pack of pokemon cards?!. I don't care if it's a business they're ripping people off. I'll never go back, neither will any of my family members.
It was a very nice atmosphere. Everyone, but a couple customers, were wearing masks. The workers made sure that the go carts were sanitized after each ride. The servers were very nice. My grandson was celebrating his 16th birthday and had a blast! This was our family's first visit, but I'm sure we'll be going back again. ??
Seemed like a great place! Very fun! It was my first time visiting. Except you could tell the lady at the register stand was having a bad day and was being very passive aggressive to us. I was appalled how rude she was. Might go back because we still had fun once we moved past it but I'm not sure. It's not like we were a big annoying family, just my girlfriend and I trying to play mini golf.
Go kart ride was great! Batting cakes $1 per token and 1 token per play. They have 2 separate arcade rooms. Staff was all young but customer service was great!
Fun place for families. Good well-working batting cages. Go-carts lots of fun too (they let you go around a bunch). Mini-golf fun but starting to show its age. Ticket counter a bit slow, so buy everything you want at once (otherwise you'll waste lots of time going back up to get more). Arcade a bit small, but that's not the key activity.
Such a fun place! They have Go-Karts, which are some of the fastest in the area, batting cages (with fast pitch and softball), laser tag in a cool, outdoor woods style course that reminds me of the days when I used to play paintball, and an arcade. Prices are pretty reasonable except in the arcade where I think you should get more credits for the money.
Veteran owned! Thank you, Sir, for your service! Awesome go kart track! Excellent service! Fun arcade! The young men and women working there are kind and attentive! Very clean place and the pizza was good too! Best part is the go karts!
Gf wanted to check this place out. Thought it was more for younger folks, but still had a great time. One of the batting cages and a few arcade games were messed up, but hey they have a bar. It was fun to have an adult beverage and hit the go cart track. Will be back.
My family and I had a wonderful time at Zig-E's. They have batting cages, paintball, arcade games, go-karts, etc. but we went for the miniature golf. The course is outdoors with beautiful scenery all around. Nothing too complicated but simple enough to have a fun time with the family. On top of it, the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place for a fun afternoon.
We just played mini-golf with our grandkids, but it was a neat course with lots of shade trees!! Looked like many fun things to do with go carts, laser tag, & an arcade!! Highly recommend this place for young people!! And these 2 grandparents enjoyed it as well!!
This place is GREAT! Still uses coins to play games - which we love!! Games spit out tickets - which my son LOVES! And workers are very polite, nice kids. And every time we've gone its never ever been crowded! There is 2 seperate buildings with tons of arcade games and they've got go-carts, mini golf, batting cages. Great place and not too bad of a drive to St John / Schererville. I'd like to keep in my little secret but it's too awesome not to share
The track for the go karts has pot holes, cracked etc. I was so sorry I drove one. The 'games' seemed like gambling for kids. So sorry I went.
Bought all day pass.. Not alot of people but the kids had to wait long periods for work staff to for go carts.
Ziggy?s is by far the most AWESOME place to take your kids in Northwest Indiana!!! Dylan was very nice, he helped make my sons experience at Ziggy?s very special. Their games are all great and actually winnable. The prizes are also very good quality and attainable, especially if you go on double ticket Thursday?s!!! They also use actual tokens and tickets which in my opinion is way better than the cards that most arcades are going to nowadays. All the games and rides are also very reasonably priced. This
We had our granddaughter's birthday here and can't say enough good things about it. The place is extremely clean!! Every employee was terrific, beyond helpful. It was like a party at your house with lots of TOYS! I would highly recommend just stopping by, get your kid on again! Great job Zig-E's!
Zig-E's Funland is the best family fun center in the area. Every single worker has always been extremely nice and patient with our kids and they truly make every experience one to remember. Their karts are the best around and big enough for me to ride along with my younger daughters so the whole family gets to have fun together. Being a small business owner myself it is always nice when we are there to see the owners talking to and conversing with the customers. They take pride in what they do and it sh
My boyfriend and I took the kids here for the summer and we had a blast. No it's not Disney World or Treasure Island, but on days you just want to get out the house it's great. We rode outdoor go karts and used the batting cages several times. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.
The staff is great here and a true family fun get away. You dont see many places like this around these days with such nice help
My kids enjoy the 2 small arcades, mini golf, batting cages, & Go-Karts. Staff has been helpful when games or batting cages aren't working correctly. It's a fun place to spend a couple hours with the kids.
The newly renovated mini golf was the best....my family had the best time!
Took our family from out of town here on a gloomy day. The boys who are 7 and 10 loved it. There was a lot to do. Batting cages, golfing, jumping on a trampoline and go kart riding. 2 buildings have arcade games but some were broken or didn't work correctly. Lots of fun items to pick from but ticket count for many were extremely high. The batting cages had issues. One of them was broken and the one we used we had to get someone to fill the balls. Staff there are nice and helpful. The hot dogs an
Arcade was ok, most machines took more tokens than they should but I guess that's to be expected. Several machines were not paying out tickets, after the 3rd machine we didn't even bother telling an employee. Putt putt was good, but not if you have a stroller. Was definitely not designed for a family with kids that aren't walking. Groupon was available for it and that's why we went. If there wasn't one we would not have stopped here.
Friendly staff, had a good time playing go-karts, mini-golf, and the batting cages. Come for those outdoor activities and not for the arcade. Many were out of service and a few even ate some of our tokens with no play time (fortunately, staff replaced those). Overall, pretty fun.
Played a round of miniature golf with my husband. It was alot of fun. Course was clean, although the water around the holes needs to be cleaned out and refilled. We ordered 6 piece mozzarella sticks with marinara, it was not impressive I won't have that again. The arcade was well kept and had a good variety of games for all ages. The gokarts look like a blast. I'm looking forward to bringing all my kids for a day of fun!
My 11yr old loves the batting cages, typically no wait. Crowd and staff are nice. Go karts are greatly maintained and well worth the $8 ride.
Fun little date night. The batting cages where great and the go carting expierence was great. Good atmosphere, decent location, and wonderful staff.
4/5 stars because they only offer one laser tag session: 90 minutes for $30. And I think that's per person, but not everyone wants to play laser tag for that long and at that price. Their pizza & mozzarella sticks were good however, and we had lots of fun playing the arcade games and going on the go karts. They also accept Groupon coupons, so that's a plus ??!
We had a group event at Zig E'S. SO MUCH FUN! Laser Tag was my favorite. Also enjoyed Go-Karts. Kim was super helpful hosting us. We'll come back for sure!
The kids had a great time they have a decent variety of arcade games from nostalgic to newish games where you can win tickets for prizes, I never did the activities (laser tag mini golf etc) so i can't comment on those but this places does have groupons available from time to time. And the staff is really helpful and nice.
So much fun! Great value for the money! We rode the go-carts, played a round of mini golf and did the bungee/trampoline bounce. 7 of us went and it only ran us $100 for all! Next time we play Lazer tag! ??
Went on my birthday for the first time And it was great. I poorly planned the day so this was great last minute fun! My wife and son we're very happy with the go karts and arcade for the last minute convenience and prices!
My kids love this place. They have a much better selection of prizes to choose from than Chuck E Cheese. The arcade, go karts, batting cages, and mini golf are all great and fair prices.
Nice game room. Our children enjoyed, them selves.
Opening Night of Their NEW "Pit Stop Bar" Reasonably Priced Adult Beverage's. Drink and Listen to LIVE Music Outside. While the Children play. We saw, Jessi and the Fizz on 7.30.22. So, This is a Place to go for the Adult Fun.????
Zig-e's is a really fun place to be, the staff is always working to make sure that customers are having a fun time, and continuously keep up a family-friendly atmosphere. When a game isn't working they're on it, they never leave someone waiting for more than 5 minutes, service is super fast! Laser tag is my favorite, the referee's are super fun and know how to get everyone pumped up and keep up their energy.
Zig-E's has been my family's go-to spot for summer activity together, and it's still a pretty great place. The Laser Tag is kept under great management, the mini-golf course is simplistic-yet-enjoyable, the go-kart track is really exciting to watch and participate in, the batting cages are a hit with my brothers, and the service is generally helpful. My one gripe is that the arcade lacks in terms of variety (little to nothing in the Fighting/Rhythm/Puzzle genre), but since most modern kids look for games th
We always have a groupon when we go! If you like batting cages and miniature golf??????? but I like the go carts! No old school games except for Mrs Pac Man & Galaga....they had others and took them out so i was a lil bummed!!! I like to see my grandkids act go crazy over accumulating tickets, it's all about the tickets....that's the fun part for me!!
Took my 4 year old niece here, the games are more for pre teenish age. Bought 100 tokens and only used half, she had a hard time playing the games and having fun doing so. We rode the go carts and they were quite expensive in my opinion, $7 for a 3 or 4 minute ride. Wasn't very impressed
Had a super day with the grandkids outside. There is plenty for everyone to do. We did the miniature golf and go carts., Next time toffee batting cages and laser tag. The staff is very kid friendly. There is games indoors also for them to exchange for prizes.
I took my daughter here and so glad I did!! I took $40 here and was able to buy 100 tokens and 4 tickets to any attractions of my choosing. Plus had money left over for drinks!
This is a quality entertainment center. It doesn't have any features that set it apart from the rest, but it has a variety attractions that make it worth a stop. I cannot speak from experience about the lazer tag but it the setup looks solid.
Really great spot, top to bottom. Go Karts are great. Batting cages are well taken care of. Extremely friendly staff. Fun games. Love it here.
Went there for a bachelor party, and did laser tag, this place is awesome. Nolan was our guide, he was a good instructor. We all had so much fun
Ok for a night out with the family. Game rooms are reasonably priced, not at lot of variety. The batting cages are not very consistent. Go carts and golf are good.
A wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly and the manager, Dallon, gave us some of the best customer service I have ever received. Definitely not just another funland! Will be coming back very soon.
I am totally disappointed with batting cages. Been going there for years and they dropped from 15 balls to 12. Now today only 10 came out. My baseball team goes there, my sons also. We will not be going there till something changes for the better.
Went for the Go-Karts!!! Really wish they had 2 seaters so when you're there with your kids they could actually ride in the kart with you without it being so tight of a fit. Would've been 5stars if they had 2 seaters, overall nice staff and still had fun
Smaller arcade than jaxs or dave and busters but prizes per tickets is the best out of all the arcades (we've been to them all) in a 50 mile radios
Friendly staff and appropriate ticket style arcade games for kids 3-12. Good deal with the Groupon. Smaller than expected and can get busy with just a few groups or families at a time.
We went for the first time with our two kids last weekend. Talk about a blast and something very fun to do, especially in the winter. We loved it so much we are going back tonight.
We took the grandkids for an outing-our first time visit. We were so impressed with your staff-wonderful young people! We will certainly be back& a special thanks to Andrea for making Brady's bungee jump awesome.P.S he is only 5 but thought you were"hot"
Nice place to enjoy with your kids. It's a little expensive but play mini golf is fun. Need more variety of arcade machines for teens.
NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY Took my kids to play laser tag and found that the employees are all teenagers who have little or no ambition to serve customers. There were a group of people ahead of us and they were drinking alcohol and acting very stupid. I had a problem and asked for a manager and they got the owner for me and he was also very young and really had no concern with my complaint.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
