Zeppoz Restaurant, Bowling, Sports Bar, Pull Tab Bar, and Full Weekend Breakfast

Zeppoz Restaurant, Bowling, Sports Bar, Pull Tab Bar, and Full Weekend Breakfast

Reviews Summary

Zeppoz is generally praised for its fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and solid bowling experience, with many enjoying the food and drinks. Positive reviews highlight good service, decent prices, and family-friendly vibes. However, some criticize inconsistent food quality, poor customer service in isolated cases, and sensory challenges for neurodivergent guests. While most ratings are high (4-5 stars), a few low scores mention issues like greasy food, burnt items, or unwelcoming attitudes. The venue excels as an entertainment hub but has room for improvement in kitchen consistency and inclusivity.

Customer Reviews

Used to have a good time there. But the attitude has changed. If you're not a regular on the bowling teams or a casino dust bunny, you're chances of getting good service are extremely thin. Guests with children, or people with mental or physical challenges are tolerated on a limited basis. Don't bother calling to make arrangements...they don't care and lie to cover their ass's. And local gossip has it that the food is gross, unless you're one of the club. If all the locals, not in the club, have gone elsewh

bowling here was a disappointing experience for many reasons. when we arrived at about 3:30, there was a sign on the door informing us that they were closing at 5 for a staff event. no big deal!unfortunately, the employees seemed very annoyed and inconvenienced by us and kept reminding us that the alley was closing soon, even though we only wanted to bowl for an hour. the girl in the ADPi sweatshirt was especially unfriendly and short with us. when we wanted to order food, we were again reminded that they w

As an autistic guest, I had hoped Zeppoz would offer a relaxed, community-friendly space to enjoy bowling and unwind. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling subtly but unmistakably unwelcome. Beyond the sensory challenges inherent to a lively venue ? flashing lights, loud music, and crowded lanes ? what disappointed me most was the social atmosphere. Staff and some regular patrons seemed impatient or dismissive toward neurodivergent customers who don't fit the usual mold. For me, this translated into

I had been looking forward to trying there Burnt Ends Mac & Cheese for a week, but was unable to because it was out of stock. Upon being able to order it today, I was disappointed. The cheese sauce was thin and runny, and there were entirely too many noodles. I did really like the burnt ends though, and the garlic bread was alright.

Tried the fish and chips . If you like fish and chips DO NOT order these. Crappy fish from a box, greasy, 3/4 breading and no flavor. Ordered to go or would have sent it back. A McDonald?s fish sandwich would have been far better, at least you get some fish. 17 bucks for this garbage. Im a little pissed.

We came here for dinner. I wanted to let anyone know that if your paying with a debit card watch what you get charged (at any location your dining in or out) I payed with my debit card left a 0 amount for a tip. I left $10.00 cash on the table for our waitress. I then find out my card was charged an extra $10.00. The food is good the wait staff is good. We ate here for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast I paid cash and left a tip and didn't have to worry about being charged extra for a tip?? Don't know where t

The bowling was good, as was the food and service. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. When we went they had specials going on as well. I definitely recommend.

Wonderful Family Experience! We made reservations ahead of time for a specific time slot. Our first time there. Friendly staff, clean establishment and they serve fast food and drinks as well. I brought my former high schooler on our last night together before he heads to the Marines. We had a blast and managed to play 4 sets. They are visible from the road, located near Pullman Regional Hospital and not too far from WalMart. They have outdoor seating, plenty of parking including handicapped spots and t

I really enjoy coming to this place. The service is really quite good for how busy it gets at times. The food is good for what it is. Basic but served quite nicely. The prices are great to. It is a really nice local restaurant. It is becoming a great sports venue as well. Which is nice for those who want to hangout and watch some sports.

It was fun cool place, pizza was on not the best as it was over cooked

Zeppoz in Pullman is a great entertainment venue with a casino, bowling center, gaming arcade, restaurant and bar. The restaurant has great food for low prices and they make an amazing cocktail drink called the Capri Sun! You can watch sports on any of the big screen TVs from any table, gamble a little in the casino or bowl. It's a unique establishment and can certainly see why it thrives in a college town!

Good food and good fun. Arcade us super affordable !

Bowl here regularly for a league their food is good, always a decent selection for beer and friendly staff

They have the sweetest, loveliest bartenders and one of them is a proud Swiftie with a banger playlist. 10/10 recommend

Zappoz was a great dining experience if not for covid-19 and the lack of people using the bowling alley and the casino I feel like it would have put my review over the top but the food was phenomenal especially the service staff they made an excellent impression the food had a very home-cooked feel to it and I would definitely recommend going there and I can't wait to go back.

The kids! They are a lot when bowling happens. When the rails are up,got ball stuck 2 times. Overall good tho??

The video games area was hot I think the ac didn't work, some game for little kids doesn't work, but still a good place to hang out with friends and family, the Buffalo wings are good and the cheesecake 110% recommended is delicious

Met a friend for dinner. Food was ok. Server was great.

Great food. Great service. Lots of things to do there, like sports tv, bowling.

This place is only enjoyable if you avoid speaking to anyone who works here. I've been here for bowling, arcade, restaurant and parties. Every interaction with employees here is painful. Especially the bearded dude with the "cool guy" attitude at the front counter. He is never nice and acts like us spending money here is an inconvenience. You might as well just save yourself a trip. This latest trip was the worst. We came in and he said we had an hour to bowl. When we got to the table we saw the signs to or

There's a limited menu at the moment because of the COVID restrictions in place, but all of the favorite items are there. Food is just as good as always, and there are plenty of heaters in the outdoor dining space on the patio. Staff wear masks and gloves and maintain all sanitary protocols and social distancing. You can also pick up curbside or order through Doordash or the ZeppoZ website.

It's such a cool place. With so many games to play for young ones and adults as well. The food is great too.

We always enjoy this place for bowling and meals. So far they've served great food, and the atmosphere is really good as well. We usually sit in the bar area, not for any real special reason. The servers are attentive and enjoy doing for a small chat if they have time, they are usually busy though and still seem to have time to pay fair attention to you.

Went today for breakfast, the hostesses that sat up at our table was extremely unpleasant, didn't even say a word, slapped the menus on the table and walked away. Waitress was pleasant, took our order and brought our drinks right away. Food was delivered, we had chicken fried steak, hash browns and eggs. The chicken fried steak was ok, how ever the hash browns we gross, they tasted as if they had been fried in bad cooking oil. They were over cooked, and nasty, the were chewy, and some not cooked at all. Aft

Wasn't impressed with the food? onion rings tasted burnt? maybe time to change the oil? Staff were friendly

Hello! The staff was very welcoming and kind! We choose to spend the afternoon bowling due to the school being closed for a teacher workday. The cost was about 10$ a person for an hour! #Zeppoz #buzzybooth

My daughter loves it here. We go whenever we can! Can't wait for summer and the kids bowl free!

We have eaten there now three times while on business. I was quite surprised at the level of dining given it's next to a bowling alley. Each of the meals we had were filling, flavorful, and cooked well. The service was excellent each time. It's now on our list of go to while in Pullman.

The food order was wrong. Steak bites were well done when asked for medium. Sweet potato fries were cooked too much. Took an hour to get 4 dishes to us.

Two lanes shut down while we were there? not sure if that's how rough college students are with the lanes or just they need maintenance. They were almost out of cheese?? So no pizzas available, but we managed just fine (lots of chicken tenders and wings). And of course, plenty of pitchers floated around. Good natured staff, super helpful. The guys loved the arcade too haha

Friendly and kind staff. The dealers in the casino are chill and fun to play with. Good beer selection too. Bowling lane issues were experienced and they more than made up for it.

So good! Food is excellent, atmosphere in restaurant is homey and comfortable, and everyone is accommodating and nice. 5/5 would definitely recommend. New favorite place to eat with the family!

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put the ticked off looking, red headed guy in a bartending position needs to stay away from making decisions. He would be a much better bouncer for the casino as it would make more sense for him to stand there and scowl his whole shift. I ask him for extra condiments all the time that I don't need, just because it's fun to watch him huff and puff that he has to do his job.

The food fair is reasonably good for bowling alley/diner/bar/casino. The bowling alley was slightly distracting with all the laser lights and black lights, but very much still fun to play a few games. The bar has something like +40 beers on tap, so the selection is more than reasonable. I do not partake in casinos so I can't comment on that side of things. Overall I'd give it 8/10

Great, vintage atmosphere and super friendly staff. However, the "no outside water" rule is ridiculous. We visited recently for the first time and spent $70 for our family of 4 to bowl for 1 hour. Our 2 kids got thirsty after eating a plate of fries purchased there, so they got out their small kid Nalgenes and were told to put them away lol. I totally get not allowing young adults full size "water" bottles likely full of clear liquor in this college town, but nickle-and-diming families to ALSO buy water for

We've been to Zeppoz as a family, with groups for birthdays, a school field trip, and on date night. They have a young staff, but they are always friendly and helpful. They are very quick to resolve issues with the lanes. Everything is very clean, even before they remodeled (we love the remodel too!) Great place to have birthday parties for kids and adults! The food is good, nothing gourmet but always hot and tasty! The bar area is clean and the bartenders are great! They seem to enjoy their jobs and making

Had an adult birthday party here. Called ahead to reserve a spot for our large group. Restaurant and bar staff especially the manager were on top of it and took great care of us. Bowled for 2hrs. Bowling staff were very helpful too. Great place to have a party. Would highly recommend.

When in Pullman. Zeppoz is, coming home. Great staff. The food is great. I'd recommend one item but honestly everything on the menu is solid. After coming her for over a decade. Great food. Good drinks. Bowling is always fun as is spending some time in the arcade. As much as it's not my thing, I've been in the casino a time or two and walked away ahead. Call it a win.

The food was not the best but our server was friendly and kind. In the casino their dealers were friendly and helpful in learning the game. The only thing I would change would be to fire the kitchen staff due to not knowing how to cook hash browns.

This is the first review I've written in my life, the lady with the fluffy hair at the bowling desk was very attitude about outside drinks, gave us a hard time about what the water cups are for water before I even had the chance to walk off with them. Showed up in a good mood to bowl and ruined the experience.

I've gone a couple times but sadly the last time I went some of the lanes were broken and the service wasn't the friendliest. I understand that sometimes you cannot control the environment or what breaks but being rude about having to move us to a working lane kind of sucks. We tried to make the most out of it but when we tried to add more time they told us it wasn't possible because it was reserved, even though other lanes were open. The bar area was amazing the service was good and the food was as good as

Just left there, we have no idea if the food is good or not. Got our coffee and water but couldn't get our waitress to take our order , apparently gabbing with her friends in the bar was a better way to earn her pay check . Needless to say we probably won't be back. It's a shame really considering our crew will be working here for the next two years.

Perfect place to bring a whole gang of kids for some pretty great fun at affordable rates. Arcade is pretty awesome and I was pretty happy to learn the kids can save their points up!

Did not eat during the visit but we're offered menu's more than once (thank you) Beer wasn't the coldest in the land but full bar, decent selection of beer, wine and hard A!

Good food and excellent servers!

Have a lot of good memories here. Really good food, nice arcade and escellent bowling alley. Really fun with friends and family. Defidentaly a must go for anyone who either lives in Pullman or stopping by.

Their biscuits and gravy in the top 10% of any of I've ever had. $8 includes a large serving plus two eggs of your choice. Good coffee and always refilled before you even ask. Service has been always been great. I typically go on Sundays at 11:00 when they open

They have the typical food you'd find at a bowling alley, but there are some pleasant surprises. It's the only place in town to get shepherds pie. ...plus they have Mt. Dew... The outside seating is great in the summer, as long as employees aren't on a smoke break outside.

The Food was great and Our server Neah was Amazing! She handled 8 other tables not including us at the same time like a champion. I have never seen a server work like that so perfectly and with a big smile and great attitude with flawless skill! Definitely my new Favorite place as long as she work here!

Yoh I've went there a couple of times thinking that the service will get better but it doesn't. This time around we waited more than 30 minutes for someone to come and get our order?.

Great food, great service, good times for all! Lots of fun for kids and adults.

I've gotten food a couple times and it's always delish. The other day I got the country fried steak and eggs to go. They forgot the gravy and I called when I noticed at home and they gave me a full refund (more than I was expecting because it was just gravy) even so it was still really good without and they went above and beyond to give me a full refund. I got food with that refund for dinner and it was also delish. Nice and friendly people with good service and great food

We had breakfast and then we went bowling. Food was good no complaints there. Bowling alley was really nice. We paid extra for the 300 club which provides different lighting and nice coaches to sit on. They do have a regular bowling alley which is cheaper. I believe it's 25$ an hour for the regular and 35$ for the 300 club. 4 people for 2 hours was about 87$ got 2 and half games in within that time frame.

Family-friendly place, nice bar, cool arcade, delicious food, great for everyone in the family.

This has been one of our FAVORITE places in Pullman, so much fun! We randomly stopped in one late night when all the other restaurants were closed, expecting your standard run-of-the-mill bar snacks, but we were blown away by both the service and the food! It is now a staple for us. It is casual dining, but it is definitely QUALITY and for a great price. This is one of the very few places in town that knows how to cook a burger to temp! It's very clean, I learned how to play blackjack here, the dealers are

Bowling was absolutely awful here. Poor customer service, refused to honor coupon, and almost the entire time was wasted because the lane wasn't working. Once we brought up the constant lane issues, they didn't really do anything to fix it.

Pretty expensive, but the 300 club is top notch! Love the seating and shoe cubbies under the large tables. Wish the whole place was remodeled like the 300 club, then it might be worth the price.

Last year, about half my school went bowling here and there was enough room! It was so much fun, and there are a lot of lanes. The food is really good, but somewhat expensive. They have good sizes too. If you're looking for somewhere to bowl, I'd suggest Zeppoz!

Nice bowling alley, had a lot of fun.

I don't usually complain, but I got a pizza with slices that were very obviously from different pizzas, different colors on the bottom and the slices didn't line up. The bartender said they get complaints all the time regarding this issue but claimed that the slices "migrate"... whatever that means. I work with pizza. Never once has an entire pizza slice migrated and cooked entirely different than the rest. They clearly lied to me and have 0 accountability. To me that's not acceptable. Obviously I don't rec

Bowling was fun. It's a nice alley. The food has something to be desired. The service was extremely slow for what we ordered. Hopefully, we'll go there again when we're in town.

Went in for my birthday and reserved a lane for 2 hours for 2 people. Asked if we could get our money back if we didn't want to bowl for the full 2 hours and we were told we could. After an hour we went to get a refund and they said they'd put the money on a card for the arcade. Went back after a few games to get our money back and were told they don't do refunds....why didn't they say that when they gave us the card? Also the lane stopped working or was super delayed several times. Just felt a bit dishones

Well Google since you asked ... We went in today to try to beat the winter drab and we enjoyed the restaurant. We then paid for an hour and half of bowling was pit on lane 11 . It seemed after every few plays the pins would get stuck and lane would go down . While our paid time is ticking away . They did continue to fix it but after the 5th or 6th time of this happening my husband asked to speak to the manager and see if we could get credited a half hour more for the time we were missing out on. My husband

The service in the bar was amazing crappy. The bar tender made sure to make us feel as if we were not welcome to be there. None of the customers were ever asked if they needed anything. None of the customers were ever checked on. Her phone seemed seemed very important to her. At one point she even went and sat down in a booth for awhile. When I finally got my check handed to me it was done so in a very rude manner. I told her to have a nice night and again got a rude response. I've been there many months ag

Zeppoz has some of the best food in town, so you can enjoy a great dinner while also enjoying bowling. Win-win. They recently started cracking down on a no outside food or beverage, which they took too far and started telling pregnant ladies and toddlers that they couldn't have a water bottle. Hopefully they quickly realize that that is a bit too much.

Restaurant / sports bar only (we did not go into the bowling, arcade, or casino areas) Only place in town I've found a Blue cheese burger, cooked to order perfectly (medium, I like mine with a little pink in it). Service was great...quick and kid friendly. Some remodeling going on, but nothing loud or bothersome to interrupt our meal or conversation. Overall, a great dinner.

Great new menu, remodeled to improve seating, casino expanded to have room and the bowling is as good as ever! This is the fun place you are looking for! Good to take the kids out, gather with the Team to grab a beer, head out and try to win some slots- everything all in one place!

I have gone here twice! First time: Fun and cute and great!! Everyone very nice!! Second time: WONDERFUL!! I like this place a lot!! Everyone is SO sweet and had such good vibes!!! They all smile and it feels nice and real!! It feels like they're having fun and a good time too!!! Special Mention: Tyler (Asian Guy bartender) was the SWEETEST!!! Super duper nice and funny and cares about customers!! Supports you in your quest for A Good Time!!! I love him!! Promote him more or just give him triple the $$$!!

This is one of the more fun places to go in Pullman. The bowling lanes are really nice. There is a fun little arcade there too. The staff has always been extremely kind and helpful. The food is good and the drink selection is great. I can't wait to see what it will look like when all the construction is finished.

Pretty good restaurant, better than "standard bowling alley food" at a lot of places. Costs are reasonable. Bowling lanes are actually fairly modern and well maintained (not at the level of some of the super trendy bar/bowling alleys in big cities but way better than you would expect in Pullman). Casino has been downsized but is nice and friendly. Staff is friendly all around, full bar and a good place to go hang out in general. Currently undergoing a restaurant remodel and an arcade remodel is supposedly

The z burger and onion rings were so good

This is a really fun place and a good place to have a party or girls night out. The food is definitely bar food but sometimes a girl needs a massive helping a bomb sweet potatoe fries. The prices are really fair- but be warned it's easy to "play one more game" or "have one more beer". The best part is definitely the staff though, I have not met one employee that wasn't pleasant and extremely fun to joke around with. I feel like it has to be a fun place to work because it shows in the way the staff interacts

My family had a fantastic evening. The lights turn to blacklights past 9 and makes it a lot of fun. They just updated their screens and it makes the experience a whole lot better. Customer service was good with free water, they even let us change our lane so our party could have more space. It's really the only place in the area to go bowling so pricing competition is minimal which is sad because otherwise I would visit more often.

Had a recruiting trip here and we all bowled and ate in a private area. The staff went above and beyond for us. Definitely coming back

It's a great place for gathering with friends, but they didn't inform us that there were two lanes open, resulting in us paying for two hours unnecessarily. We requested a refund, but they were unwilling to do.

Very clean and friendly staff. The lanes are well maintained and modernized. Not once did we experience any sort of mistake or jam while bowling our 3 games back to back. The fried pickles are great, I've never had them in spear form, always chips. But now that I have had their fried pickle spears, I will have a hard time being impressed by any other kind of fried pickle. Very reasonably priced. 3 games for two people and shoe rental all for under 30 bucks (this was their Sunday special). The arcade is s

We are from Oregon. Visiting for the Duck vs. Cougars game. We ate here 3 times, each time a different server. We had great service and really good food each time. Thanks for welcoming us ( and not rubbing in our loss ). We look forward to visiting again!

We always enjoy our time at Zeppoz. The lanes and tables are well kept and always clean. Staff is friendly. The cafe is quick and offers all your bowling alley favorites. We really appreciate the partnership with KidsBowlFree in the summer! Definitely recommend!

The cleanest bowling alley I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I wish I didn't have to leave my water bottle in my car, but the new UI on the lanes' computers is really slick

Fun for the whole family! Amazingly good food, sweet variety of adult drinks and beers on tap. The only place I have found that has pull tabs ;)

Poor service, I had to wait over an hour for my food, and when it came out the food was cold and undercooked. They must have had a change of staff because it used to be great. Although they have a casino, as well as fun bowling and an arcade. Another plus is the 23 beers on tap. This place is great for groups and you pay per game on the bowling not the hour.

Probably some of the worst customer service I've ever seen had a waitress seat us and we had five people with us. Two of us ordered beer and got ID and had a young girl, Proceed to tell us She doesn't think our Id is real because it wasn't a Washington ID. Mind you the person who got their ID turned down Used it several times that day and works in a dispensary where you have to be 21. It has a barcode on the back and everything. We asked to talk to manager and the waitress ignored us and walked away. She ma

Don't come without making a reservation first. The first night we tried to come we were told there was a wait which was understandable for a Friday night, however the group in front of us didn't have a reservation and was placed on a lane right away (keeping in mind it was a group of 7 and we were a group of 2). Not only that but they also broke their own policy of only allowing two people per lane listed on their website. We decided to come back the next night and were told they were only going on reservat

Other than not having free balls with holes big enough for monster fingers the place is great. Had an awesome work dinner there for holiday party. Took the kids bowling as well. Decent prices, nice shoes, etc. The ramps for the kids bowling were a little beat up and bent but that's to be expected.

Expect pub food quality and you won't be disappointed, they do it very well! The beer menu is full of local craft, all delicious! Hit the casino, bowling alley or arcade to level up your night before leaving.

Zeppoz is our local "go-to" place. The bowling facility is perfect for our large family and reasonably priced. Zeppoz offers a great rewards program with every dollar we spend. They have the best burgers in Pullman. Their staff as a whole is very hard working and a very good group of people. Each staff member greets us with a smile and is quick to provide superior customer service. We have found many local business do not share the same care and attention that Zeppoz staff has for their customers. Th

Fun place to go bowling, they also have a little mini Arcade that was quite fun for how small it was. Staff is very friendly and quite patient. I've gone a few times with some friends and have always had a nice experience.

This place was awesome!!!! Not super packed and had a really good time. The bowling was great then had an awesome lunch followed by videogames. If you are a craft beer fan then this is a pretty good place with local brews. Overall food, beer, and entertainment was family geared!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
