Customer Reviews

Harry was the best he made our trip here worth every penny! He joined in with our family outing and it was beyond amazing. We had so much fun hanging out with him. He made this place special for us.

Tonight we had a work group Dundie party and we had an amazing night! From start to finish Brandon helped us by creating a custom package that fit every need and wish we had. We had 35 (adults only) attend and we chose the Racos Taco Bar. We had two room for 4 hours and a dedicated party host. The food was excellent! The rooms were clean, spacious, and the perfect temperature. Jazz, our party host, was on top things and very friendly to all our guests. Finally, we chose the 2 hour unlimited package and it o

We had a Christmas party for my kids, nephews and niece (ages 8-22). Everything was amazing from booking with Brandon to being helped once there by Kasen and several other staff members to all the cool things in their new building. Even the food was great! I was thoroughly impressed! So much fun for everyone, including the adults. We will be back and I absolutely recommend everyone check them out.

Update: tried it again? I had faith in this place. second trip was just frustrating, employee running the laser tag was so depressing and acted like he hated his job. Everything felt gross like greasy and the bowling balls are so torn up it's awful. No good selection of bowling balls. Customer service and over all pricing I will be going to High Caliper from now on. Mini golf all the balls we're all dead again so couldn't even play the course as designed. The gokarting track so slipper it's like driving on

I went here with my family and had so much fun. This place has a variety of things to do and stuff to keep little kids busy for hours. It also tires them out to make bedtime easier. Overall 10/10 and Justin was kind enough to give us an extra bracelet

We came as a family and had the best time both Addy and Justin were amazing

I brought my nephew and niece here for two days of fun. The daily specials are a great value. The place was clean, inviting, and not too busy. The staff was great. Particularly, Kristi and Marcus were so friendly and helpful. We definitely would come back

Hailey helped us yesterday 6-23-25 she was awesome. Super helpful and kind. Even took time to learn my families names. I have been going to zap zone for 16 years and ZapZone XL Lansing is hands down the best entertainment center ever! They only keep getting better. Well played gentleman !

Justin at The ticket return area where you buy the gifts was very professional and awesome. He is better than all Dave and Buster employees combined lol. We had a great time and enjoyed his hospitality

Update Went here again last night with my son. I was very impressed with Elizabeth who was working the prize area. She was supper friendly and engaged with my son the whole time helping him pick out prizes. She made suggestions and even demonstrated how fun some of the prizes were. She went above and beyond. A rare thing now adays. Good job Elizabeth and Zap Zone for hiring and training well. Went to the new location for the first time with my daughter last night and I was quite impressed. It's amaz

Awesome time!! Really appreciated how great Harry was with the kids in showing them how to go down the slides in the jump area. It definitely made the kids time even better!

Harry , was generous , kind and attentive . We had no clue on things , he assisted one on one with my autistic son . He help us have a fantastic day

Everyone we worked with here was incredibly accommodating and gracious. We were late to schedule a party but they managed to get us in anyway. Our host was very kind in working with us, even though we had a very young one with us (it was otherwise an all-adult party). The staff overseeing the various attractions/activities were lovely as well. Our party host, Addi, was excellent and took care of any logistics, helping us make the most of the time we had and ensuring we got to do everything we hoped to. It w

Celebrated a 4th birthday here on a Sunday. I was worried 4 might be too young to appreciate the options, but the 2 hour package flew by. The trampoline park was fun; big obstacle course with trampolines, basketball, zip lining, and slides. The carousel and arcade games were also favorites. We were able to spend about $20 extra for arcade games, which lasted quite a while. The crowd really picked up shortly after opening, and we were glad we got there early.

Best place in mid-Michigan to have birthday parties or family/friend hang-outs. The arcade has a massive selection, the golf course is fun and creative, the bounce area is off the hook (it has a zip line and wildly steep slides, so it's even fun for adults, but it also has simple bouncing areas for babies and little kids), it has carnival-type rides like bumper cars, a merry-go-round, cute little kid coasters, etc. And then you have the go-karts! Oh man, the track is fantastic, two stories, looks like it wa

Its ok but it could be so much better. The arcade is so unbalanced. For example today I learned from staff with a manager standing there that the string cut game to win a giant teddy bear actual takes up to 100 cuts yet to play it is 24 credits. Pretty insane because 40 credits = $10. Even on Thursday with half credit cost it is crazy. Other places that have this game cut in one try as it is already hard enough to time it. Not to mention they keep raising the prize costs after you already spent a ton of

Harry out on bumper cars is such a friendly person. Very out going and interactive with everyone. You can tell He definitely loves his job. Thanks for the experience!

Great stuff! Friendly and fair staff! Machines have lots of issues though and are very pricey.

So happy about the new location! We've been coming to Zap Zone for at least 15 years. The new location has everything under one roof, a great new bar and new food options. Awesome service from the bar staff and loved all the food we tried. Got the volcano nachos and they were loaded with meat and cheese. Had multiple TVs for Lion's game and the sound was on. It was packed and super busy but we still had excellent service from the bartenders. Great time and so happy for the new location!!

We always have a great experience and fun whenever we visit, today Justin helped us at the rewards stand and the kids were so happy and excited. We'll continue to visit .

I went with a large group and it was such a blast. Food was great, games were fun, and there was an employee named Henry or Harry who really made the night. He was super fun and added a lot to the experience!

Food is pricey, fun place but even the 2 hour wrist bans are a lot considering not much you can do with them.

Our server Jenny was absolutely amazing!! She was so nice and very tentative. It was our first time bowling and eating at Zap Zone and we will impressed and will definitely be back.

Justin at the ticket counter was very cool and helpful. Gokarts are very quick and handle well. The arcade is one of the best I've been to.

I took my grandson and his two friends. They had a blast! I wasn't very happy being charged 10 bucks for venu operations?? I feel after paying 200 bucks for tickets that was something I feel is illegal. Plus without even asking me, they charged 14 bucks for bowling shoes that we didn't even use!! Sick of the up charges here. Probably will not come back!?

We (myself , my husband, and our two kids 2 and 4) visited the new zap zone location in the Lansing Mall over the weekend. It is huge! So despite it being quite packed, it didn't feel too crowded because it is so spacious and there are so many different things to do! My husband and our son did the jumping area and received arcade cards with points loaded on it which was a nice perk! My four year old had a great time bouncing, climbing, and playing in the two story bounce area. My two year old and I enjoye

I love the games and I love the good service ! I recommend I'm coming back ( yall would hate to see me coming tho (: ) thank u Justin !

There's a lot to do for all ages from video games to bowling a rage room go carts axe throwing a restaurant and much more

Harry has been wonderful explaining everything to me and my old mom. It was fun in the trampoline park and bumper cars! We will always ask for Harry if we need help!

It's one of our grandson's favorite places. There are tons of games, laser tag, trampoline area, golf, and drinks. They run specials that included a free laser tag game and $10.00 free game play. Employees were fantastic, we spent about three hours there.

The place was really clean. We had a great time with all day entertainment. Justin was very helpful at the ticket counter

Zap Zone XL in Lansing Michigan is the perfect place for dads to spend quality time with their kids. The facility offers a variety of games and activities that are suitable for children of all ages. As a dad, I appreciate the opportunity to bond with my kids while also enjoying a cold beer. The atmosphere at Zap Zone XL is family-friendly and fun, making it a great place for us to create lasting memories together. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I highly r

So fun for the kids and the all-day unlimited for ~$25/day was all we needed. Unfortunately it was just filthy (probably inevitable) and some of the attractions were up and running.

Here's my honest opinion about this place. It was great. Loads of fun! Highly suggest going on Thursday to get that deal of $19.99 The laser Tag for me is by far the best. It's literally a free for all. You're shooting at everyone and everyone's shooting back. It can become a bit pricey so go in with a budget. If it's for a date, splurge a bit and have fun. I didn't encounter anything that would make me not want to come back. I take the kids here all the time.

40$ to bowl which is absurd, on top of that they couldn't even use any of that revenue to turn the A/C on whatsoever every employee I saw was fanning their face. Completely unacceptable it felt cooler outside because there was at least a breeze. Who wants to bowl while sweaty?

We had such a good time bowling here. Jenny, our server, was amazing! She was so kind and friendly and the food was great.

NOT A PLACE TO TAKE YOUNG KIDS! I took my grandsons on a Thursday night and spent well over $200 but everything started fine the person running laser tag was awesome! and seemed to enjoy his job but that was it! The person running bumper cars told us he did not feel well and we could not do them and then 5 min later allowed a group of 5 kids to ride. The best part was the dirty/broken bathroom which featured 2 kids sitting on the counter smoking pot! not the kind of time I wanted to show 2 young grandkids.

We visited ZapZone XL. The new space is amazing, so much to look at and so much space. The layout was very well thought out. There was a crowd today but it didn't feel busy. The new laser tag space has some amazing artwork on the walls, I walked behind my 4 year old on the course to hold his vest and got to admire it all. The trampoline park had my kids hooked. Zipline, ninja course and slides. I have to add that the staff is so helpful, patient and were just wonderful to interact with. We can't wait to go

I brought my little brother here for his birthday we enjoyed the arcade and go karts. Our server for dinner Jenny was amazing didn't skip a beat.

Dominic R was so kind and playful to my kids. The picking out of prizes can be stressful and he was delightful and kind. Appreciate him!!! Made the experience better as we ended the night there. Thanks Dominic!

Fun party with coworkers. We loved laser tag and all the arcade games and of course the trampoline rooms. Service was friendly and helpful and pizza was served by a kitty robot! And the pizza was actually pretty good too!

I rented a party room and was not disappointed. I enjoyed the extra time having fun since our hostess rocked, our pizza's were coming out as we were getting done with activities. My two little guys crashed hard in the car before we left the parking lot. Also i love not cleaning my whole house after a birthday????

Fun place to be and family friendly also. Been there couple of times. You will enjoy the pool the area is well lit. Awesome bartenders. So much fun. If I get 10k likes and 1k comment on this review I'll likely get a good discount whenever I visit again. Perhaps lol!

THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE TO CELEBRATE MY 10 YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY!!!

Staff was great, kids had a blast. Won't be back until the AC is fixed. Way too hot.

I do not recommend this place. They are overpriced. The cost about $35 for 2 hours per person on weekends, which during the week is for the whole day seems ridiculous. We could only do mini golf, because there were no attendants at any other location. Mini golf the balls didn't register to keep track of score, and were off tracking wise when it did register. A 2 shot, it registered as 10 hits? Why. They don't have hand cards to use either. The bumper cars and carousel were stated for adults, but really, it

Malachi was amazing and had the best customer service! I got to do go karts, axe throwing, and plate smashing, all of which were super therapeutic and fun! I will definitely be coming back.

Zap Zone XL at the Lansing Mall is an absolute blast! The wife and I took our two boys there for the free laser tag a while back and this last weekend, and it was a total win. The place is massive, with something for everyone. You can race go-karts like pros, channeled your inner lumberjacks with axe throwing, and even conquered the high ropes course like fearless adventurers. But let me tell you, the laser tag battles were the absolute highlight for my boys. With Dad being a veteran We're talking serious

Had a blast here while visiting from out of state and looking for a place where kids and adults can draw equal enjoyment. Good value for the money and the boneless wings were bomb! Will definitely visit again.

I was here two days ago with my friends playing pixels at zap zone in Lansing, MI. Savanah was AMAZING! She is so bubbly and kind to everyone and makes the game so much more fun by her energy and help if one gets stuck!! I would give her 1000 stars if I could!! Great service and 10/10 recommend zap zone (especially the pixel area where she is mostly found!)

Zap zone XL did not disappoint. Thought it was much nicer than the old zap zone. Glow golf was awesome. Pixel floor was super fun. And the spin zone was most beloved by my girls. Tony was very kind and a great facilitator.

The most diverse arcade around by far. Go karts, trampolines, rage rooms, bowling, glo golf, and, oh yeah, laser tag too. Good for kids of every age.

Great variety of activities; our kids were entertained for hours just from the activities on the day pass (mini golf, VR coaster, trampolines/slides and laser tag). We were visiting from out of state and we've been to many different trampoline parks. This was among the best we've been to.

Absolutely love it here! Kids of all ages?? Jenny was an absolute sweetheart and very professional! She's a great waitress!

I had a good time at ZapZone. Justin did a great job explaining the rules for the laser tag game. I was able to get a higher score because I learned how to use my power-ups. Thanks, Justin!

Savannah was amazing and we had the best time with her! We did pixel floor and she was an amazing host and a great supporter! Keep up the great work Savannah, we loved you! Keira and Allie ??

My kids and I visited today. The staff was very helpful at the front desk. We loved the Springz area. It was also well staffed and safety was important to all. The kids loved the mini-golf, VR ride, go carts, and arcade. I love that Zap Zone XL has moved to the Lansing Mall, providing family fun to the area!!!

It was not Harry who told us the jumper was closed. Harry was very patience, kind and made sure our kids had the best time eith the minutes left

I don't recommend for birthday party. It's quite expensive and they plan only 30 min activity for a 2h party. They just expect that you spend money on the arcade to keep the kids busy. But we already paid a high price for the party

Good to go on Tuesdays since the major attractions are all $4, which is half price. Bumper cars were average. You can't really get moving very fast, but they maneuver well. You won't get jolted very much which is good for little kids. Glo golf had a pretty cool theme. Some holes were way too easy and a few were impossible. The trampoline area requires grip socks, so bring your own or pay $2.50 extra per person. Trampoline area isn't really huge but pretty fun. Lots of arcade games to choose from. Staff are

I'll start by saying our group of 4 had a good time while we were there. We got the $60 VIP bands and enjoyed our fair share of attractions. The problems started pretty quickly on arrival. Starting with the axe throwing (and nearly every subsequent attraction) there was no staff member present and we had to ask a passing by employee twice to send someone over so we could play, then the game wasn't properly calibrated and reading correctly and had to be manually changed every throw. We moved onto fowling whe

I think I have way more fun than the kids when I visit here! The customer service is great and very understanding. Payton & Chris seem to be the best guides when visiting Zap Zone XL. The electric go-karts are not a let down. This is a great place for indoor fun with family. The drinks & food is pretty good too!

Overall it's a place I would recommend. They have a wide variety of attractions, different food and beverage choices, they do have an adult bar that serves alcohol.fun place for kids, they make it doable for adults. Only downside is they are kind of pricey.

We visited this location on 12/14/2024, due to our kids' snow day. We had avoided this place for a year because of the fights that would break out at night time. Not to mention a report of someone doing cocaine in the bathroom at one point (this was mentioned to us a year ago from a friend of ours) We figured after a year of avoiding this place, it would change. My family and I arrived to this location. A handful of various games would not work properly or take the game cards. In addition, the mini golf was

I came to the Springs section to jump around with my 3 year old niece early on a Friday afternoon and it was not too crowded which was nice and we worked with Harry who was fun and very knowledgeable.

Wonderful place to take the kids and so much to do!

Love the location, and the game's. The three star is because the have quite a few maintenance issues and machines that don't work properly. Not quite Dave and Busters standards...

I came here with a couple of friends of mine and the worker Jasmine was just so amazing. She helped us with our attraction events and was so kind. She even helped us with combining our credits and showed great hospitality to us when we headed out, Jasmine is a outstanding, wonderful worker.

Jenny was an awesome server! We came to zap zone to celebrate my sons 13th birthday he rally enjoyed himself

Excellent for a fun night! Justin was a good help and it wasn't too bad if you have set boundaries with the kids beforehand

I went to Zap Zone XL Lansing today (Memorial Day 2024). Savannah in the prize room was awesome! She got the rocks I wanted out of the case for me and took the extra effort to wrap them up in paper towel to make sure they wouldn't break. Plus the whole arcade was clean and all of the games worked great. We will definitely be back!

Had an absolute blast at the misubie opener. And then after that ended spent about 4 hours inside zap zone playing with my daughter. Super fun place.

I came for my birthday, Harry was top tier and he made my experience even better than I would?ve expected! He's nice and funny, he got a lot of jokes. He's very mindful and demure.

Only getting a 2 because we have been for kids parties and they love it but I do not recommend on date night ever as you sit 20 mins waiting for a bartender that will never help you but help groups that come in after you. I know exactly why because 2 people they don't believe they will make as much in tip as they will with 5 or more people. Horrible service and ugly bartenders

Harry was very respectful and is an asset to your team here at Zap Zone XL. He's very personable and I caught myself in conversation like we had known one another for quite some time. Much appreciated, Harry.

My children & I enjoy our experience EVERYTIME. My son recently tried bumper cars for the first time and he loved it ?? Harry was helpful & sweet to us as well.

Justin at the prize counter was super helpful and very friendly. He is a definite asset to Zap Zone!

The actual place itself was awesome. Something to do for everyone in the family can pricey but still would be 5 stars if not for the staff. Minus the people at the front who sold us our ticket every other staff member I encountered was rude and looked miserable. We bowled an entire game with 5 players before we even saw a waitress to order food.

We went to zap zone to play glo golf and let me tell you if I could leave half a star I would. They use electronic balls and you can't get them to read on the sensors, it gives whatever score it wants to you whenever it wants too and sometimes it doesn't give you a score at all. We also let our girls drive the go karts which were slow and barely worked. This place is an absolute joke. Very disappointing.

justin at the prize counter was great! let my daughter pick her own things/colors out of the tub. anyone with a toddler understands how awesome that is!

Brand new. It has things to do for ages. The staff is friendly and helpful. We brought my son and his friend and they had an amazing time. We will definitely be coming back. They have indoor mini golf, an arcade, laser tag, trampolines, go-carts, a bar, a restaurant, ax throwing, bowling, and more

Went for the first time recently. It was okay. The arcade for me was the best part. My 7 year old liked the trampolines but said he liked other places better. He also liked the laser tag as well. My 19 year old liked the go karts. I guess we expected a little more from all the hype. Not a whole lot of directions we just winged it. Also... no where for parents to sit! That was annoying. Didn't try the bowling but it looked fun.

From my daughter. The funnest place ever. The go karts are fun she's ten that's all I could get from her

I love bringing my grandchildren, all 6 to Zap Zone, Lansing. They have an incredible time with so much to do, however there is an urgent need for seating for us spectators who need to keep a watchful eye on our kids as they do all the fun things to do. Please help us have an enjoyable time too. Thank you from the grandma?s!

So much fun two of us bowled an hour for 9$ total we got three games in such a fun time and affordable too

Harry was amazing and so fun. He talked to us whole time. Had a great time. Great drinks. And time away from kids lol

By reservation only during covid. Great place to take the kids. Arcade mini golf bounce house lazer tag. Hole 12 is extremely difficult, hole 13 has a hill but you can't see it becuase the green is black.

Harry was very kind, respectful snd professional when a kid from my granddaughter?s party had an issue with the bumper car. We need more people like him!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
