It could be so much better. Put some shock in the bumper boats pool to mitigate the nasty alge, and maybe people would want to use them. Basic inexpensive pool care anyone can do. Replace dead trees and provide shade. Bring back the go karts score board and winning flags. This place was fun the best in the 90s and 2000s - its so clearly poorly managed now. Owners must not truly care about experiences and just needed a place to toss investment money for tax purposes.

Went here with the family for a fun way to spend our Sunday. My sister, her fianc?, and my dad road the go karts and bumper boats. They said it was fun but wasn't anything too exciting. Impressive office. Well organized, clean and comfortable. The staff is quite professional and friendly. They do a thorough checkup with the latest technologies. The doctor and assistants are knowledgeable and helpful. This made it worth the 5 hour trip to get here.

I've been to meadowbrook alot, have taken my kids and have even rented for birthdays for my kids throughout the years. But these last few times I have been discriminated against. My kid had tons of fun! But it was DIRRRRTTTYYY and a lot of games were out of order. Staff was not attentive at all. Stood at the prize counter for 10 minutes without staff noticing, even though we rang the bell several times. It was not busy at all. It was my group and like 3 other small families.

Came in from out of town. Worst decision ever. The gocart we got was sputtering and wouldn't go fast and even died once. They didn't offer us a couple extra laps for having to stop for a while, or another round in a better cart. I went here for my birthday today and it was fun. I have to say it isn't too big of an arade but it has enough games and such to entertain yourself for a few hours. The way things work is you get a fun card, put credit on it and use it on the machines; the card also carries the tickets you get after completing a game too which it neat! Awesome and fun! Sometimes the kid comes out of you and well you begin to have a Superb evening with your family. Good way to spend a day with friends and family or maybe take your date here and have a blast just remember there just games so relax and have fun. They got bumper boats, batting cages, go-carts and mini golf and inside they got arcade games.

Fun for the whole family 4 to 70s. Go carts were the highlight and a lot of choice in the arcade. The mini golf needs some upkeep and repair and boats weren't operating.

Went to mini golf here, the course has some really creative holes. It just needs a few fixes around the edges to be top notch, a few of the holes have the green surface peeling up and the lighthouse hole is broken. Basketball hoop hole #2 was our favorite

Very little family fun is had here anymore. The arcade is dark and the games are out of date. Not a wide selection. Most of the space is taken up by an annoying VR game. Not worth the cost. The mini golf is horrible. There was no attendant on duty. The holes were old, raggedy, and falling apart. You can tell the owners have no interest in anything other than squeezed the last penny out of this property. Sad waste of time.

We visited on a friday afternoon and thus the number of people in the fun center were manageable. We had so much fun playing the arcade games. Unfortunately none of the outdoor games were available. We had options to buy the arcade cards for various amount. We loaded two $20 and one $40 and played for more than 2.5 hours. Totally recoomend going here!

The bumper boat pool could use some cleaning. You spray people with that water. Other than that. The 18 dollars per person you spend for bumper boats, Go Karts, mini golf, 2 tokens per person for batting cages, 4 dollars for the arcade, and 2 pieces of pizza and a drink, is pretty much unbeatable anywhere in Washington. The staff are phenomenal. The girl at the batting cages instructed our son on how to hit a softball/ baseball. My wife told the attendant it was our first time, so it was her prerogativ

Took the kids for a birthday party and they loved the games but especially the go karts! The unlimited vr, go kart, etc is well worth the price! The only issue we had was that they were unaware of the birthday party we booked online for some reason but were able to quickly get the room ready for us. The service was awesome as well!

Went on a Tuesday and all arcade games were 50% off. They also have a deal for $40 for unlimited bumper boats, go carts, bating cages, mini golf and VR. The place is a little run down but still had a good time there. Some of the arcade games were broken or not working properly.

It's ok. My little one loved the mini golf experience. My older one loved the go carts. The games are more old than 5 basically but the kids still had fun I'm happy with that

I've been going here since I was a kid.around 30 years. It's still a fun place. But it has become overpriced, in my opinion. If you are willing to spend the money, it is still a fun place to take your kids.

Completely run down, such a disappointment this place has become. The family fun center used to be such a great place to go on a summer evening. I wouldn't waste your time and money. They are doing zero upkeep and limited customer service.

They have a great selection of activities but we only played in the arcade. Overall, the machines were functional and there was a decent selection, although a couple of the ticket games were not responsive and took money off our cards without enabling a turn at the machine. Looking forward to our next visit and checking out the go karts and the mini golf.

They are stepping up with new games and fun they have 2 HTC Vive Pro's. Very fun place! The food is lackluster but if you go for arcade and other activities you won't be disappointed!

Awesome staff, and awesome facilities. Is a little dated, but it was a good time with an old friend. Great prices, and you have to try the VR! The only thing negative I would say is that managers are nowhere on site. Seems like it's completely run by its lower employees, so I would say encourage them to promote from within and get the laziness out of there.

This was my first time attending this wonderful place. It was so much fun for both kiddos and adults and I had never been on a go cart before this and it was a great experience ?? I will definitely be returning many more times with my family. I highly recommend it.

My Grandson had an Amazing time here playing games. He wanted to go play miniature gulf but it was a little too cold that day. I told him next time. Workers are very friendly and helpful.

The place is run down. Needs a refresh. The front doors were locked when we got there, an hour after they opened. The gate to the mini golf was also locked and we had to go back in and get an employee to open it for us.

I forgot how much fun this place is! Even though there were a couple games that either didn't work or didn't keep score it was still a great time. We didn't go outside and do the go karts or anything, it was windy lol. Still a great place to kill a few hours though! The pretzel and cheese from the cafe was actually really good as well.

workers are so kind! i won a game and it didnt give me my plushie prize, so i swiped to do it again amd it charged me like 4 times, so i went to a worker and he was so kind about it, refunded the swipes, and let me pick my plushie! amazing service

Score is just based on the mini golf. Pretty popular spot; was swamped with people a short time after opening. Prices for adults were $6.50 for the afternoon time. Reasonable amount of money for the course. Holes were a little older. But functional and FUN. There was some level of challenge involved with most holes. Well maintained, clean, and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I'll definitely be back with family for another round.

Went to the mini golf, arcade, and gokart portions of this place tonight & It was okay overall but the staff was kind of rude to us. I was really set back by how some of them acted. Especially when one of the gokart workers made a rude comment to me? Overall I had fun but some of the workers need to learn some hospitality because their attitude took away from the experience. On the other hand the cafe girls were really nice & helpful!

My experience with this arcade was good. It is kept reasonably clean and has a fair selection of new and classic games. It also has other facilities such as a bumper car track, but these were closed during my attendance there, likely due to COVID-19. Overall, I would recommend the Yakima Family Fun Center to anyone looking for an arcade in the area, but it is nothing special to commute to.

Friendly upbeat staff and great value! Many activities to do, and portions of the package deal can be used another day. $15 per person could easily provide at least an hour?s fun on each of two days. Great family togetherness tine.

Yakima's Family Fun Center is an excellent place to take the kiddos if you are looking for something fun to do. Their fun passes are affordable, and include Go Cart and Bumper Boat rides, a full round of Miniature Golf, tokens for the batting cages, and even a couple bucks worth of tokens for the arcade games. They have birthday party packages as well that include pizza and the lot. The pizza isn't Westside Pizza or anything, but the kids seem to be impressed, so you really cant go wrong.

Way better than Chuck E Cheese! Not the biggest selection of arcade games, but they have air hockey and pool, plus the mini golf, batting cage, boat and car races. Havent tried the food, but it's there if needed! You can do all of activities for super cheap with the package deals. Great place to go and spend a few hours without even noticing!

A few games don't work correctly and are not labeled "out of order", so you end up just wasting your money attempting to play them. All in all its a fun place to take the kids, especially in the spring and summer months when you can play mini golf, race go karts, batting cages and battle on the bumper boats.

Always a good place to spend a couple hours with the kid. The track is fun, if you're going to be here often, take advantage of driver's tickets in bulk. The arcade is decent but often crowded on the weekends. After school on a weekday is a far better option.

For me paying $200 for my daughter's birthday party pack....they Didn't have nothing set up for her party like it says in the party pack. On top of the out door events weren't included. Not to mention just 1 pizza added on to the 2 that come with the party pack was $15.00 JUST FOR 1 PIZZA. OVER PRICED N I STRONGLY DONT RECOMMEND

The new ownership really needs to be more attentive to EVERYTHING!!! We've been a few times since they took over 1/1/18 & it's really gone downhill. I feel like it's a waste of money since quite a few of the games don't work, if they do work they don't work properly! Enjoyed a birthday celebration at the Fun Center. Booking was easy & reasonable, the space was ready & clean. Food served hot, good & on time. MeKayla was wonderful & took care of everything despite a busy evening crowd. Ride attendants were friendly & helpful. Great place Thanks!

Employee named Elizabeth or Eliza was very rude towards my family and I. Gave us very dirty looks and felt very uncomfortable Didn't think it was personal though because she was giving everyone else rude looks. Can't go back to this place while this employee works here Supposed to have fun with my family without feeling the rude unwelcoming look this employee kept giving us. Please do something about her attitude !!!

More of a 4.5 rating and I'm sure Covid has something to do with it but there should be more game options. That makes it a 3 star but the food options inside and miscellaneous games outside (batting cage, go karts, mini golfing, bumper boats) nearly make up for it. Great spot for kids/teens official birthday party as they have areas outside and in to gather the people.

This arcade is very disgusting. Especially the food. Everything has probobly not been cleaned in weeks. All the games are also very old and some malfunction and don't work properly. They haven't spent a dime o. This place for awhile. But still it is fun and I'm excited to go there. Mini golfing is great and go carting.

I am really sad to write this review. As a child I would love spending my weekends here. However, tonight we took our kiddos for the first time. Every other game was not working and the other third would take our money and not get a turn. My kids did not enjoy their time there really wish it was a little different.

It was a slow day at the center so it should've been efficient. I ordered pizza, nachos etc then went to watch my kids play games. 15 minutes later I went to check on the pizza and they hadn't even started our order. Many games were out of order. Very disappointed in this place

Teens running the gift shop nice- can't say that about the ones running the go karts. Too much mumble rap music bumping for my liking. My son was stalled for a good lap and a half and nothing in the way of making it right no changing cars, giving him and extra lap, or nothing. Few of the games inside need servicing.

Two problems. The first is that not all machines accept the same form of payment. Some take only tokens, some take only cards, some take only dollar bills. So if you want access to all the activities, you need to be ready with 3 different forms of payment. The larger problem is unsupervised children. He apparently is there every day because his family member works there as a manager... Besides that, half the games dont work and most arent that fun or are too complicated for small kids. Went to the mini golf area today, $6 for a game on soggy carpet, leaves everywhere, unbalanced greens and looks the same as it was when I moved here 13 years ago, everything is run down and was not an enjoyable experience, did not go into arcade, bumper boat, go-carts, or diner. Hit the batting cages after mini golf to hope for redemption on this establishment, fell short to having multiple bays out of order and when I could only use the 25mph bay, multiple times the ball fell short where it was not hit-abl

So mad right now, I called to schedule a birthday party for my daughter. I spoke to the man and we went over all the rules & regulations and we had no problem but when I called back to put my deposit I was told different & my card already went through so I had to cancel my party and now I have to wait up to 3 days for my return. I just moved from Tulsa Oklahoma to Moxee Washington and Tulsa has tons of stuff to do anytime any day.. but Yakima has like nothing ... ever so this place is great if u want to do stuff! Me and hubby come here to play mini golf / go karts / arcade games ! It's great and good prices!

Tried to call an ask about getting my deposit back an he days need 48 hour notice. Well i rescheduled due to personal reason an i still can't make it there for my sons birthday. Enjoy playing mini golf a lot. Not happy with the hours. Sign says open at 10am. They did not open at that time. Change your signs if your not going to be open at that time. Had a few cars waiting for it to open.

I always come into town for my nephew's bday party at Meadowbrook and they have made some horrible changes this year. The games are more expensive, the prizes in the glass boxes are more expensive... Everything is more expensive!
