Reviews Summary

The venue offers fast go-karts, fun axe throwing, and free board games, with many praising the thrilling experience and helpful staff. However, significant issues include long wait times, poor organization, understaffing, and inconsistent service, particularly on busy days. Some customers report unprofessionalism, broken equipment, and unfair race scheduling, leading to frustration. This place is HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I arrived at 4:30pm and purchased the FORZA package which is for 8 riders. It comes with pizza and drinks for $459. I didn't have 8 riders I had 6 so they credit me for 2 rides which was okay but I'll never return! The employees said the pizza was ordered between 4:30-5pm they let me know that this happened earlier to a previous customer and they don't know where the owner orders the pizza from. They accommodated me with a extra lap for the wait. It's now 6:30 and

Very fun, clean, and well organized place. The best part of it is that they have 2 seats karts, so my 5 years old was able to ride with my husband.

This place absolutely sucked it negatively surpassed my lowest expectations by over a mile, they told me I couldn't use the fast car unless I did a lap in under 24 seconds in the slow car which most of the adults struggled to do. If your looking for a bad day definitely come here, but if you have commons sense you'll know not too. To the business, be better.

1 star is for the young workers who are thrown to the wolves and left to fend off angry customers. This the the perfect example of how not to run a business with repeat customers. Literally, this should be assembly line fast. Leave the go karts run, one group is racing, another is on standby, already having had the rules explained. One group done, another group starts. Sometimes close to 45 minutes between groups. Every single person in here is beyond agitated. First house rule-NO REFUNDS. Why? Because they

The manager was super rude. After having someone rear end my brother I walked inside. The track team didn't care or notice. The manager came out said ?I'll make sure the track team is retrained? while a girl spun out and was stuck in the wall for over a minute. On the second time of getting the manager (to speak to my brother and his friend about what happened) he was rude again just saying he will have the track team retrained. He finally did something after close to 20 minutes of complaining and told the

Bro do not go more then half the go carts have problems stop go don't go to full speed and I bought my tickets at 140 pm and didn't race until 350 pm and I had to keep asking what was going on very understaffed. I think the owner is cutting corners for biggest return

Held my son?s birthday party here and will not return. The place is filthy and the service is horrible. We waited 40 minutes for our first race. It took 15 minutes to get our kids 3 pitchers of soda and the guy pouring them literally stuck his hand in the pitcher to hold ice back. I can't believe I spent so much money on this party.

Visited 4 times in the past year. Service is consistently poor, with untrained teenage staff and an absent manager. Had a particularly bad experience with a group of 5. Teenage staff lacks judgment in assessing drivers, often mistreating good ones while letting unsafe drivers through. When we gave them feedback and told them we wouldn't come again if they don't fix things, they told us they don't care. Overpriced for such disorganized and unprofessional service. Would not recommend.????????????????

We called ahead to ask how long we would need to wait. We were told 30 minutes. Came in, paid for two races, and now OVER TWO HOURS LATER still waiting for our first race! I can't imagine it being run any more inefficiently than it is. This place is the worst. I even lost a dollar on the janky air hockey table and they wouldn't refund that either.

Poor communication and bad management of this place. I went for a couple of races today. I had the first one within 10min which was great. For the second, I was scheduled almost 2 hour after the first race. I do not mind waiting if I was made aware in advance. The track stuarts lack basic organization skills. Prep for the upcoming racers and transition between the different stints is poorly organized. What is the logic to allow a racer to get into the last kart on grid with 6 karts upfront left empty?! Th

I took my boys to this place today for their 14th birthday. Even though their website said they were open, no one was there. We weren't the only group waiting. We drove an hour to celebrate. This is very disappointing.

Kart racing is so much fun! The cars run great, staff keep things moving. We have a great time.

I visited from New York. I've had a hell of time with my lady, and will be back soon. Tim and Alivia was amazing. They gave us stellar customer service, which is coming from another business owner. I give staff 20 ?? stars

Not group event friendly. Their price clearly says 1 race $25, 3 races $60. We were charged $60 for 2 races. No I don't want anything from you. Would never go again. $63 for 20 minutes is the most expensive family activity we could do. WOW! You've kept your prices the same for 4 years, they are too expensive. Had someone told me there. I probably would not have raced. Your employees never said anything!!! I guess by the book is don't inform the customer, because we do not care!!!

This place is awesome. My granddaughters had a great time. The guys that work there were excellent with them explaining and all the safety rules. I highly recommend this place for a fun afternoon

Great prices ....Go Karts are fast.... axe throwing was fun ....Even the smaller ones who couldn't ride the go karts enjoyed the humongous Connect four games and the little arcade. We came all the way from New Jersey for my nephews 19 birthday definitely will be back

I brought my son there for a birthday party, they all had a fun time. The course Marshalls were responsive and took safety seriously.

Extremely unsafe, track employees do not enforce any driving rules and collisions and potential spin outs are common, a friend of mine didn't have a gas cap and it splashed over them before the race, employees did not seem to care whatsoever or even be educated enough to host safe racing, terrible job from every employee turning a blind eye

Super fun ?? ?? great place take the kids.. Me and my son had a good time

The go Karting experience was a lot of fun. Prices are very reasonable and the time system they have is enjoyable. Especially while racing being able to see your best and last lap time makes it even more fun. Definitely will be back some time.

This place has gone way downhill since it was Mid Atlantic Grand Prix. Went in with my girlfriend for three heats each. Got called for the first heat within 30 min which was fine considering there was a party there. But then waited almost an hour for our second heat, only to be told it would be at least another hour before we got to go out when I went to find out how long it would be. Furthermore they no longer seem to flag and remove unsafe drivers. I frequented this place when it was Mid Atlantic GP, and

Staff is kool ,never too crowded i recommend.

Love the heck outta this experience. I actually ended up going back 2 more times while in the work area. The whole crew went competition. Was good carts are surprisingly fast so so fun and a work out so expect to bring your A game

CRAZY ?? FUN driving those Gocart

Bought my tickets at 1:45 didn't race until 6:00pm. Go karts stop and go. Not enough staff.

Online it says it's open from 3 to 9 on Tuesdays. Tried going around 4 pm to celebrate my friends birthday. Get all the way there only to find out they are closed most of the week. Ruined his birthday. Very disappointed.

Great service and outstanding track with go karts that move. Will absolutely return if in the area.

So much fun!!!!! All the employees are helpful and friendly. Fine family fun ????

Got there today and the website said open, but sadly they were closed due to them waxing the floors but John and tyler the two working at the time said we could come in and get a good couple laps in around 20 min worth. They gave us a discount and were overall super nice and amazing people so thank you again john and tyler. We appreciate you!!

I cannot imagine a more poorly run business or one with worse customer service. I took my son and his friends there for a birthday party. I was told we would get a chance to do three races in a 60-90 minute block of time. We waited close to 180 minutes to start the second race. On the track was even worse: roughly 25% of the cars never worked or failed during the race. The workers' solution was to pull the cars to the side of the track where the kids just sat helplessly until time ran out. No offers o

Had a company outing here and we had a blast. Age range was 18-38. Service was great. They even brought in food from a local restaurant and it was delicious. We took a break between each race which I felt was a good idea.

Great place to be, we showed up on Monday and sadly they were closed for cleaning. Even though they were closed, they still let me and my friend ride for a discounted price. Very awesome owners and nice people to be around. Thanks again!

Booked a party for our son?s 16th birthday with 7 friends. They had an absolute blast. The go carts are super fast. The employees were attentive. They also did the ax throwing. Best way to spend a 16th birthday! Everyone said how much fun they had.

Definitely not recommend this place, they don't maintenance the cars I almost kill my self because the parts that hold the seat belt come off.

Place was very busy but the young staff members remained courteous, attentive and polite. Fun place to visit at least once or to kill time any day. Axe throwing was affordable at $30. For an hour. Had multiple game options to throw to. Inside Go Carts were a bit pricey, $20.Pp per 8 minute Round. Little wait time but it was a Saturday night. They do have jumbo board games and pool tables that are free if you do have to wait. I would recommend this place to others.

We came here in February for a part of our son's 11th birthday fun and it wasn't too busy. Our son got to do 3 laps but on his last lap his car died and so we brought that to the attention of the customer service representative behind the desk and Matt was super accommodating. Matt gave our son a free lap. That was great because our son loves coming here. He loves to race. Thanks Matt for going above and beyond. You made his day!

Very unorganized. Bought 2 of the 3 races for go karting at 7:37pm? an hour later still haven't been called for the first race I decided I no longer wanted to wait tried to get my money back but no refunds so I had no choice but to wait. While I'm waiting I seen a group of people go twice, a group of girls that came in after me went before us, even people who came after us had already gone on their first race at this point it's 9:52 still haven't been on our first race so we watched the door hoping for ther

I hope you will like their fun stuff. Go and give a try with the family or friends.

I wanted to give fewer stars, but the fun the kids had racing at a birthday party wouldn't allow. The party room was not as advertised, but it had air! For the rest of the place didn't, it was broken. The pizza was very flat but tasty, and the pitchers of sodas were endless. They didn't have party bags for the kids as promised in the package, and they were like, oh well, sorry. I had to push for a discount ($24), and the kids were very disappointed that the virtual machines were not operable. However, they

I took my three kids here today for the first time. We arrived at 2pm and they had their first race around 2:30. We were then informed (around 3:30?) that the junior races would be delayed because there were only 3 junior cars available. We waited, figuring we could stay until 5pm. Well, apparently 3 hours wasn't enough time for three 8 minute races. Aside from there only being 3 junior cars, it also took long periods of time for each race to start. We left at 5:15pm with still only that first race having

Had so much fun here with my boys. Easy on the wallet. The time per race is perfect. Not too long and not too short. We're gonna be regulars

Hours say closes at 11pm on Friday and Saturday?s. Arrived at 9:52pm for a session to find out they close at 10pm.

Okay could be a little more organized with the GoKart racing but overall a nice family friendly place.

Mixed feelings about this place. The girl working there was really nice and helpful. I wish I knew her name. The kart racing was a fun 8 minutes, but expect a long wait if you're not there for a birthday party or other event. The virtual reality (VR) racing did not have a headset which didn't match what we saw on the website. In addition, both of the VR driving simulator stopped working in the middle of a race so they had to be reset. The VR simulator was not worth the money spent. There was real ax throwin

Unless you are going for a birthday or on a non-peak day, be prepared to wait. I took my son for three races and we got two completed in four hours. Each race is about 5-7 minutes. After we finished two we asked when our third race would be and they told us that we already raced three times. The go-karts also break down frequently and they do not enforce their ?no bumping? policy. Not a great experience.

First time there , awesome experience. Great staff, karts in good condition. The group of 9 I was with was a blast (2 SCCA licensed drivers) kept it very interesting. Pretty good work out for this 60 year old body. Will definitely do it again! Even with an hour + wait time it didn't seem that long. Well worth the wait for the experience.

These aren't kiddie go-karts. These things are no joke. I see why you are required to wear neck support when racing. My teenage boys loved it though. Moderately priced. The staff is very safety conscious. Would not recommend for smaller children but is perfect for an adult get-together. We went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty, no waiting.

definetly a spot for people who donnt know mothing about go karts or saftey drive aT YOUR OWN RISK

This place is AWESOME!! Shout out too Katie for making this thrill even more fun with her humor!! We laughed with the staff and had a great time. I felt welcomed and safe while on the track. Everybody was so informative and so cool! Me and many friends will be returning very very soon :)

It's fun but it's expensive for the amount of time you get. 60 dollars for two people to race one time for 8 minutes. The worker at the track wasn't friendly it was my first time my legs are long I couldn't figure out how to adjust the pedals so I wasn't crunched up he rolls his eyes and says move just I barely had my seat belt on and he is rushing us onto the track. Money couldn't be spent elsewhere for more events

The go cart racing was great. The ax throwing was the worst as the small baby axes were blunt so they did not stick into the wood. When the manager or the child that was running everything realized that the little axes were not working they put me and my party on the VR racing. The controls did not work properly so I paid extra money for nothing. The customer service was horrible. There should definitely be an adult present when running a business.

Had my son's birthday party here. The staff were all nice, but they seemed inexperienced with hosting parties. A couple of miscommunications, but over all my son had fun and enjoyed his birthday party.

Terrible experience waited 3 hours for 3 races, The last race was up as next and then they kicked my kids for a birthday party, with no explanation. You are better off going to speedway in Jersey or Autobahn in Maryland. The customer service is much better. Dont make the same mistake that we did.

Absolutely fantastic 1st experience! My 13 year old grandson can't wait to go back . BRAVO to JOEY ! He was running the entire place by himself , which was by no means an easy task . Management should be grateful to have such a dedicated and incredibly helpful employee . We will be back ! Thank you JOEY ! Excellent job !!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to share with others the experience I had today. I went with my husband and 2 kids today. As soon as the owner noticed that one employee made a mistake with the turns, he took care of it immediately and respected our turn in the line. While my daughter was driving, she had an accident because she was driving too fast. She got scared and didn't want to continue, so both of us left the area. The owner Bill not only took care of my daughter and offered ice, but then

Lots of fun... those carts are FAST! I improved with each lap, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Great place and great staff! My girlfriend and I stopped here randomly one day and we were very pleased with the experience. It's a great place for beginners and experienced riders. They walk you through the whole process the first time and they seemed pleased to do so. The carts are not governed and you can go as fast or as slow as you'd like. We highly recommend it for all kids and adults.

We enjoy ourselves there. However it was a young men, helping getting everyone situated, I'm not sure if he was stress out or what but he scream to my nephew "What are you doing???? Like no professionalism at all. We expend $260 for all of us and we was bot expecting to be scream like that. Everyone else were call. Except for that one guy that in top of all was wearing a pajama pants. Unprofessional!!

I would have given a great review HOWEVER: we paid for 3 races for our 10 year old son (not the first time we came here). He did his first race. When he and other children were lined up ready for the second race they were told they had to wait. Apparently instead of racers going in order, the larger groups, specifically adults, were put ahead of the smaller groups (children). Money all spends the same. It makes an absolutely no sense why everyone who pays isn't treated the same as far as when they race. Whe

"Extremely disappointed with my experience today at the Xtreme Zone facility. Despite their website indicating a 3:00 PM opening time, the place was still closed when I arrived, along with other customers. We waited patiently, tried calling multiple times with no response, and even attempted to see if anyone was inside to no avail. No note or explanation was provided for the closure. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and greatly soured the experience. Will not be returning."

Ok so this place has really gone down. Took the family to go kart and that was horrible. The cars were questionable. Every other one worked. My son had to get out of his because it didn't start. After racing a couple laps the seats were super hot. My son, wife and myself all had burn marks. My other son's back rest fell back during race so he had to hold onto wheel to stay up. We then tried axe throwing with super dulled axes and the boards were chipped away so much they barely stuck. Even the arcade game t

Great experience for the kids! Tons of fun.

The virtual gaming and quite a few of the arcade games were out of order/broken, but if you're going solely for the go-kart racing and are throwing then this will be the place for you. The staff was friendly and courteous. My godson still enjoyed himself with at least three of the functioning arcades. I will re-review this location during our future visit.

The racing is a lot of fun and the cars are pretty fast! Fun for kids & adults alike.. The axe throwing activity is also a good time.. Light weight axes made it easier for kids to throw and enjoy themselves

The staff were very friendly, upbeat and very helpful! Place is alot of fun and has a good track

It's a cool place fun for kids but having to wait a hour and half between each race is ridiculous especially when other kids are going 1-2 times over and over again . Shouldn't take 4 hours to do 3- 10 mins races .. they need to get that together makes 0 sense why they would allow 5 kids to race with first 5 then pick and choose who go's next. Do NOT do more then 1 race if you don't want to sit there for 4 hours for 3 10 minute races ..

My son and I along with my good friend Lewies went here 10/17 to celebrate both of there birthdays. We had an absolute blast. My son just turn 8 and reached 48". His first time racing and definitely not his last. The staff is great and very efficient. We will be back soon.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, very cool place. Hidden in an industrial complex but don't sleep on it. Races are 8 minutes each and you can get 1,3, or 5 races. Prices seemed reasonable and you can watch other races, and or watch your friends race if you don't want to race yourself. Also it was a Saturday night and we walked right in and had just a slight wait.

I just wanted to try go carting for the first time in many many years and I ended up being fat-shamed by an employee. When I sat in the cart, the seatbelt wouldn't go around me. I am a little thicker which I embrace. But they didn't seem to like it. The employee came up to me and started laughing at me. He was blonde, maybe 18-20 years old. It was humiliating. Then another employee came up and said "uh... I don't think you can race." I said "is it because I don't fit?" and he started laughing. This employee

WYLIP had an amazing time at Xtreme Zone with our youth group. There were over 14 participants with our group and the staff treated each of us in high regards. The equipment was clean, we had a ball and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you for providing excellent service and for allowing our group to make memories. Wilmington Youth Leadership Incubator Program under the leadership of Ian Smith, Director of Parks and Recreation of the City of Wilmington had a blast!

Kart speeds are all over the map. It be nice if such facilities did a better job at taching these motors periodically to make it more competitive. It's just a simple governor adjustment. If you do a group reservation, the $50 for group reservation does not go towards the balance of your group. Also you will be charged the full balance of 10 people even if you do not have 10 people. Something that would have been nice to know upfront and then adjusted the price accordingly for 8 people to split the cost of

I had a blast, the employees were great, and the go karts go fast and are really easy to drift ????????

Great experience! Staff were all very nice and helpful. Prices are consistent with this type of business and i thought they were fair. They don't offer much in the way of food which probably helps them keep costs down. Don't eat a big meal before go carting, you are kinda cramped up in the cart and a big meal will just make the experience uncomfortable.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had at an establishment, im not even kidding. We were told the wait time was about 30 minutes and didn't get our equipment for racing till 1 and a half hours later! The instructor explained the rules in 30 seconds no lie, sounded like she was speaking jibberish to a bunch of newcomers. They didn't check to see if our seatbelts were on correctly and that's easily a safety hazard. The kids that were on the tracks with us were regulars so they were acquainted and disr

Yesterday I attended this place for my birthday. Your manager Estaban placed my group in a race with another group that was bumping the entire race. He literally sat and watched a guy bump my little sister on the track which caused her to go OVER the railing and knocked her helmet off!!! And then he told her to go to the pit and stop driving, but allowed the other driver to keep driving. Following that, at the end of the race that same driver ran full speed into me at the end of the race inside of the pit w

The staff are friendly and it's a great place for a birthday party! Definitely would visit again. I only wish they had two seaters go carts for kids unable to drive to ride along with someone.

Unexpected wait times and angry customers could be prevented with a scheduling system that assigns you a time slot when you book. Why doesn't this exist?

So GOOD!!! Best place. The costemer service was very friendly and chill. The Go-Karts were very fast and very comfortable. The helments were also comfortable. Don't worry about people having dirty hair on the helmets. They give rags out and they smell good because the clean it. They clean and sanitize the helments. And they have a thing where they put this thing on your neck and holds the helments comfortably. Just to clarify. The people that wear mask. I would recommend to take it off to breath better. By

Very unprofessional the staff at the go kart lane does not check or enforce any safety rules. I had to take it upon myself to tell my friends to put their safety belts on and ask the crew myself if my safety belt was on properly after they told me I was okay to proceed in the lane. Even though the establishment enforced no bumping of each other?s karts the staff never enforced such safety percussions. My friend went airborne by getting T boned in the go karting lane and the staff did not enforce the rules o

Very well-run track. Karts are carefully maintained and the track is hard to master. Was here for the Touring Kart Championship.

Fun!!!! New airsoft and axe options since ky last visit. Only suggestion is service your karts for operational monitoring for races ,esp. during a private party 9f kids who wanna track their drifts and time:)

We can't wait to go back! We held a 40th Birthday Party there last summer and had a blast! The staff was wonderful, accommodating all the party goers and drivers. The pizza party was a good deal, the room was more than big enough and nicely decorated. It was mostly everyone's first time go-kart racing and we all had a great time!!

We came here for a work event as a group of eight. It was the first time some of us had written go karts in their lives. Veterans and new guys had just as much fun. The facility is laid out well, the staff is very friendly, and we had an absolute blast. I'm hoping we can come back next time the team as a get together.

These things are super fast and driving was a thrill. 3 races was more than enough. One thing we tried to do was make a reservation and were told we didn't need one for a group of 14. Took us over 2.5 hours to get our races in. We got there at 11am and didn't leave until 1:30.

The kids had a great time with friendly and specific instruction before starting When 1 child was left racing alone, Haley even rode a car on the track to give him some friendly competition. Can't wait to go back again.

The manager is the best. Should you have any trouble, try to ask for him directly. The people at the counter are not the best handling issues with your reservation. They are not only impolite but also make you wait for long without providing a real solution. The guys on the karts' area do a good job at loading the karts, however, they could really be more on top of reckless drivers. Regarding the karts themselves, not all of them are in the best shape. They do try to keep them running optimally, but if you

First of all have to give a shout out to the two gentlemen working so hard to my first experience here unforgettable. The two employees in the black shirts working the evening of 4/13/21 I tip my hat off to you. I had an amazing time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and since they were not busy we even had the two staff members compete on the track with us which was so much more fun. The axe throwing was really cool and included tic tac toe, a giant bullseye, connect four, and a emoji with zombie f

The go karts were fun but the environment wasn't so friendly and welcoming. the staff all seemed young and lacked customer service experience the one kid white male I can't remember his name but he was barking orders to us like we should already know what to do what doors to use he make our entire group mad and uncomfortable so even though we enjoyed the go karts we probably won't go back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
