Great time with my little guys. The climbing jungle gym was a big hit! And the nice girl, where you pick out the toys helped my son by giving us an extra 160 tickets to get what he wanted!
We went on a Saturday around 5.15 pm. We made a mistake by not checking the closing time, which was 6 pm. When we purchased the tickets, the receptionist did not bother to inform us about it either. Due to the time limitation, only kids were able to explore the slides and the soft playground. Although the kids enjoyed themselves, they wanted to explore more areas like the rope course, but they were informed that activities would stop 10 minutes before the closing time. Furthermore, the staff started cleani
My daughter loves this place and the young workers are all great with the kids but the old manager shouldn't be around children and needs to learn how to respect people. He was yelling at the top of his lungs for a minute straight with a full house of kids. NO GOOD!
Great for children under 10. They have arcade games, bounce-house-slides, mini ropes course with mini zip-line, and a large climbing gym. They also have a small area for the toddlers to climb around safely with your own supervision. NEW... They newly added rock climbing walls which are super fun! They also added a VR multi-player game to occupy the older siblings a bit. They added a small bowling arcade but it doesn't always work and a lazer obstacle arcade (not Lazer tag). It's clean and there's meant to
It's cost $27 to get in. Pretty sure the kid ringing me up tipped himself. $27 to get in and basically all the games cost a dollar to do. Haven't been here in a long time.. probably won't be back for a longer time. Too much money for kids to get bored fast.
This place was a lot of fun! Very low price to enter and hours of fun for the little ones. Tired my boys out and had them in bed nice and early. We all had a great time.
We were there 10 mins before it opened. And although we have been there before many times, all the kids in the system expired, it took about 40 mins to register them, totally ridiculous, I just can't go through that crap again, way to stressful while trying to watch all the kids and that they don't get kidnapped. I'll just go elsewhere to avoid this.
Had my son's birthday party here. Staff was helpful and attentive. Kids had a great time. Party was an hour and a half but we stayed and played for almost 4 hours.
I celebrated my son's birthday here, the staff is very good, they took care of everything. The place is very clean. Everyone love the pizza. Totally recommend this place. Looking forward to take my son for a play day.
Great place for the kids to have fun. Wish it could be cheaper but at least it's free for the accompanying adults. Kids had a great time and played continuously for a few hours. Will come again. Update: had my kid?s birthday party here. All kids had a great time playing. But the party is poorly organized. Chairs for parents all jammed on one side and lots parents end up standing, the party assistant was still busy getting pizzas while all the kids were already in the room. It was quite a chaos. Finally the
Lots of activities for kids. Cost $70 to walk in the door with 3 kids. Additional expense escalates quickly when playing arcade games. Could easily spend $150-200 in one hour. Otherwise it is clean and was not busy when we visited on a weekday during school break.
My son is 2.5 and loved it here it was a great rainy day activity. Nice and clean with friendly helpful staff. Freeplay $14 1-2 yrs., $20 3+ they also own Riverhead Safari adventure you can get a 10X pass for $150 interchangable, doesn't expire, can be shared between all kids and good at both places.
3 oversized bouncy slides and a soft playground is not worth $17 per person. There is also a toddler area, laser tag, lots of arcade games and cafe. If each paying kid was given a $5-$10 arcade game card it would be a better deal. The place is kept very clean. My recommendation would be to spend your money elsewhere.
Update: At our recent visit it became clear that the cleanliness is really going downhill. The floor was filthy with crumbs and dust all over the place. It looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a couple of weeks. Every time you go to the cafe area to have a snack, all the tables are dirty and the floors are dirty and there's nowhere to sit. Yet somehow there are 15 to 20 teenagers working who are hanging out behind the prize counter on the floor. Or sitting behind the main desk on the computers or on their
Very fun as always for the kids and the adults can join in on the fun. Best place for local fun for hours. Being the mask ban lifted again and weekends are still a little cold there is a lot more kids then usual and while they have new games to play the prices doubled in most cases
perfect place, found this place on google. Came to book my son?s 4th birthday party a month later. Stay and play for 2hr, Nice food, clean place, great staff. Already loved it.
STAFF HERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY. VERY NICELY RENOVATED. THERE IS A FOOD AREA WHICH IS PRETTY COOL. VERY CLEAN. MY SON PLAYED FOR HOURS. HE HAD A BALL !! I DEFINATELY RECCOMMEND & WILL BE COMING AGAIN !
Very cool place. Like Dave and Buster's for kids. Fun spot. Video games and bouncy slides. What more do you need.
Maybe if you book a birthday party it's worthwhile but otherwise I would not recommend this place. It's expensive to get in and then you also need to purchase a card to play any of the games. There are a small handful of things for a child to do without a game card and then the games range from $1.50 to $7 each, which is bananas since each game lasts about 1-2 minutes if you're lucky. The young people working there were very sweet but it was honestly a huge waste of money.
Kids love it here.. drive over an hour from Flushing for this place. The staff are very nice and friendly and they are always cleaning.. this place and Safari in Riverhead is the most clean play area anywhere ..
This place is not worth the money for the amenities available. $25 plus tax for open play but not much to play on. They do not offer much for toddlers regardless of the toddler area.. There are more arcade games there than attractions for kids to play on. Don't be fooled by the website. This place is disappointing.
Our 2yo was in heaven! We started at the toddler center which was cute and very toddler friendly. Then we explored the tall soft playground. It was a little hard for adults to navigate but he only needed one escorted round (and another friendly kid) and he was off climbing around and sliding down the slides. He even made it across the balance beam bridge which surprised me! Then he discovered the inflatable slide? I needed to climb up with him a couple of times until he figured out how to haul himself up by
Excellent. The staff is friendly. We have Membership for my kids.
Celebrate my daughter 6th bday. Nice play area and games.
Brought my son here, and we had an awesome time! Parents are allowed to accompany their children on some of the courses. My son loved the jungle gym and bounce slide. And I have to admit, so did I! $32 for several hours of fun. It was worth the trip.
Excellent place for a party or a fun day out!!! Keith and Ryan were super helpful and accommodating. The kids had the best day playing here.
Ok place but recently doubled membership prices and now charging for go karts after one ride. If you're going to increase prices how about doing it slowly.
This place is fantastic! Great for birthday parties and for your kids to just get out of the house to get some exercise and have fun. There is an initial fee to enter and you can join their rewards program. The money adds up on the game cards so beware! I would start with $20 loaded on a card since the kids only need that for the arcade games. The more money you add to the card the extra bonus points/game dollars you get. The tickets get stored on the card so you can always bring the same card back and keep
If you want your child to rent a disease here this is a perfect spot. Hand sanitizer stations don't work. The place is very dirty. Staff works hard and is super nice. Birthday parties are organized here.
The staff is great. I've never come across anyone working here that wasn't friendly. My son loves it here. The slides are great. The arcade games are awesome. My son is 3 and my nephew is 4. They both have a blast whenever they visit Xplore. They were able to utilize the "adventure" area which requires a harness and challenges their senses a bit. A lot of fun, I managed to burn some calories and it didn't break the bank. No one got injured. We've been there maybe a dozen times and plan to go again and again
went to a birthday party here? the price for having a party here is a total waste? let's start with $6 on a game card when 1 game is $5? $500 for absolutely nothing to be honest. you have the cupcakes they gave was hard as a rock, like they just took it out the freezer. it's waaay to expensive. had child blood on the floor but have 2 kids running around telling adults not to wear shoes which i get but we aren't doing anything, so if i had no socks i had to buy $3 worth? and they don't have grip on the botto
Love this place but just 2 ?negative? things are it's bit expensive to be honest but what isn't nowadays? As well as, it's a bit bizarre that they close at 6 everyday . I'd be their best paying customer had they been open later especially since I live up the block. I can't tell you how many other family members and friends have said the same over the years .Most people don't get off work until 5/6. Hoping the owner sees this and can possibly reconsider their hours . :( on a more positive note , it is very
Clean and fun. A little pricey but my kiddo didnt want to leave so worth it on a hot day.
I love this place! It has fantastic all around entertainment for kids? and even adults can get in on the action! ? A special shout out to Madison and Victoria for being extra attentive and helpful to me and my daughter during our times there!
My kids had a great time! We came in during a heat wave, it was nice and cool! The facility offered many different attractions and was very clean, the staff was consistently wiping down surfaces during the 2 hours I was there. All of the staff members were friendly and professional and it's apparent the owners spare no expense here. We will definitely be back.
Play area is smaller than we thought. A large section of the prize arcade game all said out of order. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was clean. Snack food was fine. Price to enter wasn't so bad because we basically had the place to ourselves. The games were all $1.25 to play, and the "Prizes" were all worse than what you find at a dollar store or five dollar deals, and you need way too many tickets for. Them don't expect to play the games. Overall we had fun, and could see if you had to go somewhe
This was a great place to bring my kids to run around a let our some energy! There was a cute little toddler corner for my 15 month old. And my 4 yr old had a blast on the big toys. Only complaint was the oven was not working while we were there and we were hoping for lunch.
Amazing renovation! This place is immaculate and so awesome for kids. Latest arcade games, the play structure is unique and like nothing around. The cafe is beautiful. They have organic options as well. The X LOFT is the nicest party room I've ever seen. Prices are very affordable and adults don't pay! Kids had so much fun. Certainly becoming a frequent visitor!
A bit pricey, and the machines don't always credit the "play" cards, the first time you swipe, but tons of stuff to do at no cost, and my little one had a blast
Need better games , fighting games. More racing games. Marvel vs Capcom. Street fighter. Mortal Kombat, dragon ball Kai. Many more.
Great place for kids between 4 and 12 but was hard for my 2yr 7 month old to get around the bigger attractions. We went for a party so had a great time and would go back. Only negative was a fee times the games ate our credits and didn't work
I've been meaning to write this review for a while!! I had a joint birthday party for my 1 & 2 year old in April. I decided on the PRIVATE EXPLORER : the whole place is yours 2 hours of private use of facility. 30 minutes of additional checkin time for private evening. 18 children included (birthday child + 17 guests) Pizza for each child Juice box for each child $10 game card for each child $15 game card for birthday child Free Lazer Frenzy for each child 1 cupcake per child (candles included) Unlimited pi
Went for open play this past Saturday The place was clean and the staff was friendly -the kids had a blast - If the manager reviews this I would say 1- if u want to enforce adults to not walk in shoes it should be mentioned by your employees when you enter -that way your employees that have to go around and ask people to take their shoes off are listened too - No one is looking up at your sign high in the air and asking people to take shoes off after 3hours of wearing them -people aren't going to listen 2-
Very disappointed ?? The price isn't worth what's offered The arcade games are priced like Dave n busters but this place claims to be for kids 2-12 The stuffed toys in the claw machines are packed like they don't cost them 20 cents each They no longer care about the kids experience just the parents pockets. There is no one to supervise the kids all the staff hide behind the counter. Older kids probably around the tween age trying to enjoy themselves but are making it unsafe and unpleasant for the smaller ki
Pretty good place, surprisingly clean, amd a very friendly staff. The hosts assigned to our party were very good and attentive. Even as an adult, I had fun playing with my kids on the bounce slide. Only concern I had was a little lack of security. The exit was too easy for a kid to run out of.
Great indoor family play place. Huge improvements over fun4all which used to occupy this space. Cleanliness is obviously a priority, and rides and games are well maintained. The elevated obstacle course with zipline is awesome. The kids love this place.
I love bringing my son here. Place is super clean, staff is amazing. Had my sons birthday party here and went to blippie event and Christmas event and they brong characters all the time. Highly recommend, best on long Island for kids.
A lot of fun for everyone. Employees are very polite. My child loves to climb. I feel really safe letting her have a good time knowing she can't get hurt here. Unless you want to pay for food or videogames, you only have to pay for your children to enter. You're allowed to bring food. They have free lockers for your stuff. I'd definitely recommend this place.
I have to say I love explore it is clean , staff is friendly. But the price keeps going up with every visit it was 11 when we started going when they used the old slides now it's up to 18 . Some of the new slides are just to big and take up to much space making everything look crowded . It's okay for me to pay 18 once in a while but due to the price increase we are not able to go as often as we used too , it was definitely our to go place in the winter time, I can't imagine how families with 2+ kids manage
Took the Grand kids here and had a wonderful time. Staff was Great and Staff was Awesome.
After reading the reviews I finally took my three-year-old boy to xplore .Every review that I read about how spotless and clean this establishment is was correct. It takes a lot to impress me because I am a clinical director in a health facility that has very stringent sanitary rules. The management and the staff were extremely courteous and I will always bring my son here to have fun.
Such a great place for the kids. We love safari adventure so we knew we would love this place too! So clean, the staff is so nice and friendly. Everything runs like a well oiled machine. We had my sons party at Safari and this year we just booked Xplore. Perfect addition for Port Jeff area.
It's good to see PARENTAL CHOICE on masks at this place. I will be back to support a place that believes in freedom. Went last Sunday afternoon and was not to packed, staff was cleaning inbetween kids playing. Clean safe and fun. If you are scared children will be running free with no masks like they should be then do us all a favor and stay home.
This place is amazing! It's super clean! And that to me is huge. My twins ran on everything and I was able to go on with them almost completely comfortable! Lol anyway it's a fantastic place for kids and look forward to checking out their other facilities.
So impressed with this place. The owners are so hands on and attentive. Never seen such a cool toddler area. The inflatables are so unique. So new and fresh and clean. Kids loved the playground and zip line. The food was delicious and everything was priced great. Will be back!
Love! Love! Love this place! Just had my son?s 5th Birthday party on Saturday in the Xloft, the VIP party lounge. It is the best private party room I've seen at a kids party place. The play areas weren't overcrowded and the toddler area is great for the little ones under 4. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Our party hosts, Danielle and Anthony were super attentive, helpful and nice. My son had the time of his life. All of the kids invited had an awesome time. Even the parents were raving abo
Reasonably priced, but not a lot of free play areas for the price of admission (3 plus one for toddlers). $1 to play the arcade games and the amount of tickets you can win per game is very small. Overall, it is a great place to take the kids to burn an hour or two.
Brought my toddler here this past weekend, he had so much fun!! I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the facility; I actually saw an employee wiping down the top of a garbage can!! This is so assuring, especially in this kind of environment, where kids are all over the place! Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.
I had a very pleasant and fun time with my family, my one year old daughter couldn't get enough of the toddler zone. The price was reasonable and the food was great, one small issue, the cheese on my wife's nacho cheese was spoiled but the manager corrected the problem in a timely manner. The staff is super friendly and polite.
It was clean and fun, but your staff needs to pay more attention. My son was told to wait till the child before him was done, so he did that. Kids just kept cutting and just going whenever. I understand it's the parents fault mostly, but the staff needs to keep it orderly. Kids are going to get hurt.
Super clean, lots of games, love the toddler area for the younger ones! Amazing price! Employees are incredibly nice & helpful. However, there was a handful of games that weren't working. While there was still a lot for my 16 month old to do & she had a ton of fun, I think alot of it is geared towards more like 3yr olds and above. Definately recommend though & will be returning soon!
Took my 3 year old daughter here yesterday for her friend birthday party.it was her first time there. she had so much fun an didn't want to leave.the place is very clean was very happy to see one off the staff spraying lysol around the playing area. After all with this COVID going around definitely will be bringing her back.
Very nice, clean place, with a good amount of large inflatable structures for the kids and an up to the ceiling solid-frame climbing structure. My only complaint is a large amount of paid games (arcade, prize claw, etc.) They're flashy and the kids are drawn to them more than to the inflatables/climbing equipment. So you pay to get in, and then you either disappoint your kids or you pay some more for them to play the arcades, instead of going to an actual arcade place.
FUN but pricey. 23 bucks door cover for me and my child. Then you have buy a card on top of that and pay to play the games (which are over priced) think of as a limited Dave & Busters with a some jungle jump blow ups. But I guess on a hot ?? day is a cool indoor adventure ??
They ask for your child's full name and address. Why are they collecting information on minors? The place is nice except for the fact that some of the children were extremely rude and wild. There were 10 and 11 year old children in the section for 3 and under, and they were pushing and shoving near 2 year old children. Very wreckless and dangerous.
We went here as guests of a 4th Birthday Party. The kids all had an amazing time. The venue does all the party set up. The family brought in some extra food and they were totally okay with it. The best part was that the guests were allowed to stay past the end of the party, to continue playing.
We went here for a birthday party for my son's friend. I've been to similar places like this but this was a little more manageable and more appropriate for certain age ranges. I wouldn't mind coming back here
Just had my daughter's 6th birthday at xplore. Rented out the facility from 9 to 11 for a private party. The staff was exceptional. It was super clean and everyone had an amazing time. We will be coming back next year!
My 2 year old loved it. We mostly stuck to the toddler area, but I'm sure she'll enjoy the huge bouncy slides and the play structure when she's older. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
Very clean and well kept up with throughout the day. Contiously vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Kids love to run around and play and it has many different obstacles/climbing structures to keep the Kids entertained for hours. The downside is the arcade games are pricey.
Went for my nephews 4th birthday party... It was AWESOME! Loved the slides, "obstacle course", games, and cleanliness. The biggest complaint is I was not allowed to do the ball run but as a grown man I had no problem letting the kiddos enjoy it over me.
So my wife and I brought 4 kids (11, 3, 1, 1)... it was $16 each for the 11 and 3 yo... $11 each for the 1 yo... so $50+ and we stayed about 2 hours. We didn't eat there but the food was about what you'd expect (think concession stand) and they had tons of video and arcade games, some gave "tickets" which you can trade in for crapola toys that the kids love! Full transparency we didn't play the games either... but we easily could have spent another $50 on food and games and stayed another hour. Tons of sta
They have undergone amazing renovations! The service was excellent and place is so clean. They did a great job putting everything together. My kids had so much fun, we will definitely be back!
Disgusting! I watched an employee hand off what looked like to be drugs. The other kid said did you get it. Then he turned around and sniffed something. Bringing it to corporate there around kids. Do what you want but not when my daughters climbing. Absolutely terrible
Love this place!!! Tons of fun for kids to run around and exert their energy! We had my daughters birthday party here and it was perfect!
I have taken my grandbabies here a few times now. You pay for the kids, and adults are free! And the use of the lockers are free too! Worth every cent! The kids have so much fun, non stop running, climbing and bouncing! Be prepared for a good long nap after!
Xplore has two large inflatable slides, an inflatable obstacle course, a giant enclosed but easily viewed multi leveled playground, an arcade, a toddler themed play area, and a mini cafe. You must wear socks to play so remember to bring them. Everything was immaculate when we went and the staff was almost always vacuuming or spraying down tables or game rides or mopping floors in cafe. If you order food they will announce it's ready over the pa system. My kids had an amazing time.
This place is super clean..the staff disinfected place every hour or so..food is no expensive
My daughter had a blast! They do not santizie tho. We were there for 2 and a half hours. Did not see them sanitize anything while we were there. Not a thing. Not even the bathrooms ??
Honestly disappointed. While it's bright and shinny it's a complete rip off. 3 kids was $44 on a weekday. I would be ok with if more than half the floor space wasn't a pay to play arcade. There are 3 inflatable and a climbing cage which when you walk in seems impressive at first, but when you realize it's only two small cages connected with a bridge its pretty disappointing. We frequently went to the one in Riverhead facility and there was more to play on and do. It's sad they removed all that play ground
This is my first and only time coming to this place. I have to write this review immediately the same night because my wife and I are very angry at their staffs. I have 2 young daughter at 5 and 3. We were invited for a friend?s daughter birthday party at this location on 12/15/18. The party went well that all the kids had fun. It was during the free play after the party, something very unpleasant happened. My 3 years old daughter who weighs about 28 lbs was on 1 of the smaller inflatable climbing sli
Horrible customer service. We arrived at 10:45am (open at 11 am) and pouring rain they said we couldn't wait inside because they had a party going on now. I said can my daughter and sit on the bench by the exit until you open. They said no we must wait outside. It's pouring rain. What a-hole. They rather have us sit outside in rain. Wow!!
Staff is friendly accommodating helpful. Most importantly they are at the top.of their game with cleanliness sanitizing and safety!!! During my visit I watched them clean and sanitize every apparatus game area and all the restrooms. Definitiely worth the trip!!!!!!!
I w ouldnt recommend this place or return for that matter! Totally over priced for ehat it is. Three bouncers and a climb through. Not worth what you pay. Sure it looks nice but that's not why I would take my daughter somewhere. The arcade was also ridiculously priced. No attendants in sight to tell the older kids how to behave either. Go to a bounce place to get the same thing for half the price. They also could tell you on the sight that you can't have a stroller...i would love to see these people walk ar
Omg! This place is SO MUCH BETTER since the renovations! I only wish they'd stamp the children and parents like chucky e cheese does and have a staff by the door. This place is very clean now and so much better than it was, I'm just a neurotic mom who worries every second and won't take my eyes off my child for a split second because there is no one guarding the door. I feel that all places that have toddler time and activities for children should have a security plan put in place , so parents can actuall
Very clean, nice courteous service
I was surprised to find that there wasnt any staff at the front doors, no hand stamps for the kids or parents...anyone can just grab a kid and walk out the door, as can a toddler or an autistic child just walk out. They really need to make it a bit safer , have someone at the door at all times, and have stamps or stickers to match each kid with their parent or guardian. Especially on the weekend afternoons when it's crazy.
Amazing place for kids! I had my sons party here. Staff and Owner are great people. Thank you for the memories.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
