XLanes

XLanes

Reviews Summary

XLanes offers a mixed but generally positive experience with strong family appeal. Many praise the fun atmosphere, diverse activities (bowling, arcade, karaoke), and friendly staff (especially servers and hosts). Food receives frequent compliments, particularly pizzas and garlic fries. However, inconsistent service, understaffing, and maintenance issues (broken games, sticky floors) draw criticism. Some encounters with rude management or ID policies spark frustration. While most appreciate reasonable pricing, extra fees (like arcade cards) annoy some guests. High ratings dominate, but poor ventilation, wait times, and occasional cleanliness concerns hold back perfection. Overall, it’s a lively spot with standout staff but operational hiccups.

Honestly this spot was dope ?? open bar ?? food, games ?? the staff there are awesome ???? completely accommodating they serve you they have a full menu they have karaoke ?? rooms I mean all in all I went twice in one day that should explain how fun it is, if you haven't been I highly recommend it 10/10

Huge thank you to the staff. I went here for my birthday, it was a special night with a few friends and the people here took great care of us. Special mention to Savannah, who was so nice and sweet and made sure my party was well taken care of. We got to make the most out of our time and money spent. Very easy-going vibes, and we will be back here very soon thanks to Savannah and the MGR that night. It's nice to see a place like this putting us first. Without asking for anything, Savannah took it upon herse

Amazing service! Bathrooms could be a bit better. Regardless, the servers are nice and there's a lot to do. This involves games, karaoke, pool table, bowling and even a bar + more! Really recommend. Had lots of fun!

Jeremy was so cool! Got us set up right away on the lanes and arcade games! Kennedy was our server and she was so fun and answered all our questions about the menu and food ... Which was delicious! Get the taco salad and sweet potato fries!! Games were working and lanes were clean colorful and fun! We spent well over three hours here just having a blast! Everything is modern and cleaned and super comfortable and above all all we felt safe. Thanks X Lanes!! We'll be back!

Great place to celebrate birthday . Bowling , arcade games , food and drinks all under one roof. Great experience. Staff is very friendly especially (Ryan female host). Everyone was nice . Quick service

Some of the games didn't quit work like the air hockey. Still was fun. Bowling was fun. Played some Mario racing with friends. Still would recommen to come and play.

It was a spur of the moment invitation to my nephew's 21st birthday party I never knew this place existed I haven't been to the mall in years but I was very surprised by the atmosphere the ambience and the wait staff the food was excellent the arcade games took me back in time the karaoke was beyond my expectations and the bowling alley was magnificent I never knew that such a fun place existed in the fashion Fair Mall so all in all I am saying this is a really fun place to visit and hang out for a good tim

A bit pricey but well worth it! Our family had lots of fun last night! The drinks, the service, and the food was awesome! Whoever cooked the food, got down! Thank you, Xlanes??

A little loud but definitely fun and the staff are amazingly friendly sweet and helpful. The food is decent for the price and the games are fun most work and if you run into issues the staff are greatly accommodating.

This review is a couple months overdue and is based solely on our karaoke experience. First off, shoutout to Daniel for taking care of us all night and to Alexis, Anthony, and Garrett for the great customer service as well! Good selection of songs and the system was easy to navigate. Wish there were more seating options than just the stools on one side of the wall. The main con was the poor ventilation and how hot it got but overall, I still give it five stars. The hourly rates are a steal compared to in th

Went for a b-day party. Bowling was fun, PLENTY of bowling balls to choose from. Including Weight & sizes, of balls. We had 3 tables/lanes. Everything was fairly clean, wouldn't say perfectly clean. But, was fair. Same goes with the arcade. All machines were working THAT time I was there, but have heard stories that they had a lot of machines out of order. Machines weren't exactly clean, but what do you expect from an arcade with kids eating food and then running around touching machines, lol. Bowling does

Made reservations for New Year's Eve bowling and karaoke for a group of 20+. Arrivesd early to eat dinner and were told someone would help us check in for our reservations after dinner (didn't happen). They were very understaffed for how busy the venue was. Staff kept positive demeanor and did their best, but unfortunately, that still didn't make up for the hour I spent in line/coordinating our reservations that should've already been taken care of. We also had to separate from our entire group for bowling

Fun place. I hadn't been to the mall in a while. We didn't know it was there. It has bowling, billiards, arcade games, karoke, food and a full bar. Food and drink expensive. Arcade required purchase the gaming card then one has to load it with money to play games. That seems ridiculous. People will spend a lot of money anyway why charge people for the card too? We bowled. Having a bumper option was great. Lots of ball choices. Facility pretty clean. JoJo at the bar was a great bartender. I would go back f

Cool atmosphere but the lanes are TERRIBLE. Not well maintained and too grippy because I don't think they oil the lanes. Add to it, all the kid ramps are broken, seats are all worn out and cracked.

Great food, excellent entertainment options, and the staff is really friendly and positive! I've tried everything from bowling to the arcade and even the karaoke! No complaints, will definitely be back again!

The food there is saURR good considering that it's a bowling place, I was really surprised by how diverse the menu was and how flavorful it was and I've been to many bowling places but most of them were old so the lanes were rigid but this bowling place the lanes were new and my ball went straight hehe so I got a strike yuhh!! Highly recommend going with friends or family and they have a lot of good deals?? OH! and they got arcade and karaoke which I tried and it was rly fun they have most arcade games that

Bring family. Bring friends. What a cool place. From the bowling alley to the pool tables. From the arcade games to the darts. As well as serving food and beer.

Really cool new spot to come hang out with a bunch of friends. Activities: Connect 4 Checkers Jenga Darts Cornhole Bowling ?? Pool ?? They have a nice bar and food! Huge place so I suggest spreading out the pool tables since they are way too close to each other, and it's hard for 2 people to play at the same time in the same area on different tables. Someone's going to get hit with a stick for sure. The people working there are young and immature, so don't expect awesome customer service people lol And

Great vibe and family fun. My server, Daniel was great very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Gave us a good recommendation on food and drinks there

To start off, this place has good ranch :) what a hidden spot I had no idea about. Was clean and good entertainment. Reasonable prices and food was pretty good. The tater tots were delicious. Sandwich was ok. Service was nice but seemed short staffed. Lots of video games and tv?s playing all around. Great experience.

Ryan, Anthony, and everyone that helped us tonight were so amazing! We stopped in for karaoke and had a blast. Ryan took incredible care of us, and was so so so kind. They're all just fantastic people. Absolutely recommend!

I absolutely don't know why this place has 3.7 stars. We went today for the first time with my work for bowling ?? And we absolutely loved it! It was spacious, lots to do ,comfy chairs, amazing atmosphere! This pizza was amazing as well! Customer service is 10/10! We're definitely coming back!!!! ??

We went here today and had such an amazing experience. The manager was extremely nice and we had a great family day out today. We are definitely coming back. I'm excited for the deal on Mondays and Tuesdays, and can't wait until we can come back another time with the family.

It was a really fun experience-for all ages! Wait staff was excellent! The food was very delicious.

I don't bowl much, but I like it here when I do. Staff is average, could be better. But atmosphere is cool, drinks are cool. I have fun. I haven't had the food. Haven't seen any sketchy types when I've gone. So if they stay away, I'll keep going back. Good for families and couples.

Visited this place twice in the last 3 days. Bowling with the kids which turned out fun. We played some pool today and that was cool too. Maybe a suggestion for those who are sharing bowing lanes..cover the food so that the other people from the lanes don't eat your food. It happened to us where they reached for a fry (ugh and they didn't bother to ask) and clearly they didn't order. (the family where they couldn't "find" their kids shoes) That was just very poor people skills!! But just as a future referen

First time there with amazing food and friendly staff. The lane to the left of me was out of line with their verbal comments who wouldn't wear the bowling shoes. Made me leave early. :)

Cool place. Bowling pins are on strings, which is a little weird. But overall, really nice and friendly service.

Great atmosphere, very clean!!! My pet peeve is a bowling alley that is grimey? this place is like a cool underground club with arcade games, bowling, a bar and great service! Giselle was our server at the lanes and she was phenomenal!

This place has a lot of entertainment. Kid arcades, bowling, and a full bar for adults. Good food as well.

Had my nephew bday party here. Great customer service and the food was delicious, fun family spot with lots of games, pool tables, and bowling ??

Jo jo was a Very Helpful Waitress..Does Her Job With Pride and Excelence!! I was Happy to see take Pride in Her Job..Robert 198!!

Just took my daughter and grandkids bowling for the first time here, HORRIBLE SERVICE. Went to front desk and asked for a lane and food for the kids. was sent to the bar area by female worker at desk . Went to bar area and waited about a good 15 to 20 minutes just to be told we had to go back to the front desk they couldn't take the food order there. Now I'm a little fustarade walked back to front just to be told that the bar area should of took the order. I'm very irritated at this point!!!! So we aske

Although the "play" is pricey, the ambiance is great and there is a ton to do! They have pool tables, video games, bowling, and a sports bar with food and drink. Food and drinks are more reasonable than the playing but worth checking out!

Deleted my 5 star review for this. Since I started coming Ive made friends with some of the staff who just loved my service dog. That is until I was asked to leave because all the sudden a couple servers felt uncomfortable around me and my service animal because one got asked out and another complained I followed her. Not True I actually had to find a server on numerous occasions so I could place an order since no one was at the bar or most of the serve staff was in back on their phones chatting away. As i

Went there yesterday and had a blast. Lexi was helping me at the front desk. She was patient and very helpful with me and my family. She even was talking to my young granddaughter. Lexi thank you for making our day. We will debe back. The bartender was great too. My drink was so good.

They have a great selection of drinks here.. I started off with a the strawberry strike which was pretty tasty and had a good amount of alcohol in it. To eat I ordered the shrimp fajitas and I wish I could tell you that they were delicious, BUT I wasn't even served the shrimp fajitas.. they brought me chicken fajitas. NO SHRIMP!!!! ?? Now normally I would have sent it back and told them they gave me the wrong order. The only reason I didn't is because our bartender/server was such a fun and nice person, she

The poor bartender today had no idea how to tend bar. She was completely overwhelmed with less than 10 customers, and she spent much of her time clearing plates instead of serving the waiting customers (some paying a fortune by the hour for bowling). I couldn't help but feel irritated waiting 20 minutes for a glass of wine, but I also felt bad for how unprepared she was. The manager should have been training and assisting her, because she was way over her head. The management needs to up their game big time

Lets be honest here it Looks great! You would of never known there was a bowling alley underneath Fashionfair unless you knew prior. Great games! Lots of the newest arcade ones, also they got DDR, Darts, billiards, etc. Also a great selection of local beers, half dome hit the spot that night! ?? Anyways on to bowling ?? I gotta admit me and my friends aren't entirely expressed. Here's why. The lanes I believe are not oiled or at least it didn't feel like it for us in Lane 11. We could not curve the bowling

My first time going on Saturday. I hadn't even realized there was a bowling alley at the mall. Great addition. The only hiccups were lanes 1&2 kept having issues and we were cheated out of an hr. of play due to an attendant giving our party the wrong info but we were compensated by management for the loss. I am looking forward to returning to bowl and enjoy the arcade and billiards.

This front desk security is very disrespectful and this the first time we come in here and had a bad experience already. We came inside and was rude saying we couldn't come in without an ID. He was racist that's what he was. In first we don't even drink we came to play pool and arcade. We told him but said we couldn't come in either way. So I asked to speak with the supervisor and we were able to get in. No need for us to be waiting because we could had gone in. Only becase we are lesbian couple he discrimi

5 STARS - The lanes are good. The prices are decent. The staff are friendly and the food is GREAT! I haven't checked out the bar yet, but it is full service, so that's a plus. 2 STARS for the change in security. Security is not like it used to be & I definitely felt safer when they used the wand at the doors. Yes, it's kind of a pain, but you knew that nobody was getting in with a weapon.

Service was great food service was quick pic is big boss burger w tater tots it was really good. Prices are very reasonable

Fun Fun Fun, 1st of all I didn't even know Fashion fair mall had a bowling alley, karaoke, arcade, bar,n fooooddd. The pizza was actually good but that have different foods as well Angelica is the great cashier slash host and the girl at the bar was nice became of coming with more than six even if Lil kids cause they charge 20% Gratuity. But very cool ?? place.

The atmosphere is really cool and I love that it sits under the mall and has a totally different vibe. The bowling was quick, which is what everyone wanted.

For my birthday I had a big group of friends do karoke. We rented it for 2 hours. The rooms were clean and the whole set up was easy. We did have a host the 2 hours we were there. Alex was the host and let me tell you he was amazing. He made sure my group was tended to you with food and drinks the entire time. He literally ran back and forth and did his serving job on the outside too. He definitely won us over. My friends and I had an amazing time and definitely will be back because of hum. All the staff, t

My recent visit to X Lanes at Fashion Fair Mall exceeded expectations, thanks in part to the exceptional service provided by bartender Jojo. Jojo was not only helpful but also knowledgeable, making our experience even more enjoyable. X Lanes offers a plethora of activities, making it an ideal venue for various occasions. I highly recommend it for birthday parties; there's plenty to do, ensuring a memorable celebration. Additionally, it's a great spot for a date night, providing a fun and lively atmosphere.

Very friendly staff, solid play area even with the right space.

Don't even give tickets for prizes, it's just a slap in the face for us. Spent 60$ on games and got about one dollar in jolly ranchers ????

A fun arcade style bowling place. The lanes didn't do so well for me. The pins were attached to strings and seen limited reaction with the ball. I won't be practicing or bowling on the lanes again. The machine also kept getting my personal ball stuck in every other shot. The staff had no issues with assisting me and my family. Great customer service and longue type bowling atmosphere.

This place was very modern. A truly hidden gem. Besides bowling, there is an arcade for the kids to entertain themselves. Also, there are pool tables and they serve alcohol for the adults to enjoy themselves. As far as the food is concerned, we only had pizza and it was quite good. Would highly recommend XLanes to everyone.

Our first time using XLanes for a corporate event was a blast. The employees were super friendly, helpful and the place was clean. Hope took really good care of our large party with appetizers coming at multiple times, pizzas, salads and drinks. Get the package deal if you rent lanes, so worth it and all the food was really good. The only thing we would change was not stopping the bowling to eat as a group since 1 team ran out of time to finish the last game, however, that was our mistake not theirs. We a

Foods are decent as expected at a bowling and fun place. I would definitely come back. I hope everyone comes to support this place. I would hate a place like this to go out of business!!!

This is my second attempt coming here hoping the atmosphere would be different. Instead staff are still uptight, don't smile, very rude. Staff at the front counter and bar area do not greet and just give straight faces when my family and I have questions about the bowling prices etc. Won't be coming back anymore. Very uncomfortable environment. As we said thank you to staff, we didn't get any response instead an ugly facial expression. Please do better.

Had a great time in the karaoke room. Service was excellent. Food was good. Wife and her friends loved the mixed drinks

My husband and I come here every Tuesday for bowling, and I have to say this is a really nice fun family place. The staff goes above and beyond and they are so kind especially Davion, he is the most upbeat nicest person and very helpful! Also I'd like to give a shout out to Katy who served us last Tuesday, she was very sweet and kind. It's hard to find places to go that actually cares about their customers and this place covers it all! Not to mention they have excellent pricing and specials throughout the w

I had a great time with my friends and family. It was not just a bowling place, but a whole entertainment center with arcade games, pool tables, and karaoke rooms. The pizza, pasta, and fries we ordered while we were playing bowling was so delicious. The facility was clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and nice. I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again soon.

We had a great time. All the staff was super friendly, food was tasty and the bowling area was nice and clean. Bonus we happened to be there during happy hour! Overall super fun and we will definitely go back again.

Very good family atmosphere. Great customer service. The only problem we had with it was the sticky floors. For real bowlers the floor is definitely not clean. Bathroom was a little dirty also.

Honestly, it's more for adults. And it's a little dark down thr. It's cool though. .I guess

I was in for a quick snack of those AMAZING Garlic Fries & I was people watching. The young lady at the register was so engaging & helpful to everyone that she encountered that I decided to go up and get some information on the services offered. Michaela will forever be my go to as she was so friendly and helpful! Thanks to her, I will be back.

I would give them 0 star if that would be a option .my guest was from Canada they refused to accept his canadian license as an ID. We called manager he was rude nd ask us to bring passport as an ID like seriously. We wasn't at duty free shop or at airport. All the restaurants bar big franchise accept the Canadian driving license as an id.nd manager was so much unprofessional he should be fired immediately. And after like 30 minutes I have seen someone buying a beer at there bar with Mexican ID they let him

All the waiters are attentive and the food was great. A small bowling alley with a great atmosphere. Not a bad place to just chill with friends. I will definitely recommend this place even if it was located at a mall.

We discovered this place on accident and checked it out but only ate at the restaurant and bar. Amazing service and surprisingly amazing food. My husband had the Buffalo chicken pizza he said ?wow?. I had the chicken Marsala (subbed mashed potatoes with buttered pene pasta) and it was the best I've ever had. The chicken was juicy but fully cooked, the mushrooms had incredible flavor and the sauce was perfect. Would come here again even just to eat!

I am giving you this 1 star because I wish i could give the team here a 5 stars and give the GM (Jeremy Madden) a 0 star review. We took our mom out for her birthday and we were having a blast! The environment was great, the staff was fantastic, and the servers were amazing! However at the end of our night my sister lost her phone and we were desperately trying to find it while we were still there. A new family had just taken over our lanes and they were very sweet and let us look for our phone. We had no l

My personal experience was okay It could have been better I asked the waiter if I could order some food while I was bowling she just ignored me and continued taking others orders so I waited until a new waiter came and she took care of us right away on mother's Day and my first time bowling so experience at this place was okay but definitely be back for bowling loved it.If bad customer services continue I will definitely let you know.other than that recommend reservations for bowling or pool tables on a bu

I had the most amazing time shot a few games of pool with the company of my Uncle Daniel Silva. And we have a one hour, maybe if the very friendly environment, very helpful host. And the staff was full of energreat environment for the I wish I had photos of the bowling alley and the restaurant. This is simply amazing.

Had the best time here!! Did karaoke and bowling with the fam and it's a perfect place for all age ranges to hangout at! I would also want to come back with my friends too. For those of you wondering about pricing: We went on thursday and it was only $10/person/hr cause it was a weekday! So honestly supa cheap Bowling was $50/hr and up to 6 people per lane so that also was not too exp for a group hangout! Food also tastes great here!! I recommend getting the pizzas here they're all really good and have

Having to deal with strangers kids running in front of you as you bowl is annoying but expected Staff was young and there was no manger walking the floor to deal with issues as they happened. The pins are attached to ropes so don't expect to have a real bowling experience

The 4 stars is for the food. The food there was surprisingly good. We got a pizza, some wings, a BLT, a grip of fries (some spicy, in fact very spicy), fried calamari, and drinks and everything was very delicious. Very pleased with food and service. If you're going there for bowling, we'll, don't. The lanes are very weird. I don't think they are oiled correctly and almost face planted a few times because you don't slide very well or at all. The pins are also held up by strings so they tumble differently.

So look... I was coming down the stairs and slipped (nobody's fault but mine). The manager Jeremy and staff were MORE than accommodating. I have never been treated this nicely or with this much care and respect. I will definitely be returning.

Seems like such an awesome concept! Service was decent. They do an automatic 20% gratuity for a table of 4 or more. Pizza was actually tasty, and I got a gluten free crust. I'd say try the pepperoni MOAP, very good for a bowling place. When it came to the arcade I was beyond disappointed. The pictures I posted are all of the systems that were down or broken. Each game is $1 plus to play. Didn't get a chance to go bowling, it was a 45 minute wait. If ran correctly this is exactly what Fresno could benefit f

disgusting wrost service i never seen we order a some food befor game but they dont give us food and they charge us for food

This is our 3 time going to Xlanes The staff always greet us and always welcome us and always help us they are very friends with me what's our kids they got autism I glad they do understand and we will definitely be back

Haven't experienced it fully did a walk around of the place seems nice would live to have a bday party here

This was the best experience I've ever had at a bowling alley. The staff and food were equally amazing. We stayed 45 minutes after talking to our waiter about life. Genuinely would come back only for the food let alone the fun bowling experience.

BEST SERVICE FROM MICHAELA AND GISSELLE!!THEY ARE ABSOULT BADDIES AND KEEP GREAT ENERGYY

This place honestly has hands down the best food! Everything is made freah and the wings are super light and crispy. I also liked the added security of them checking each person before entry... especially with all the chaos that happened at another bowling alley recently. I feel safe bringing my kids here. They also love the games, lights and food! Its a really cool, family friendly place at decent prices! 10/10 would recommend for family nights and date nights ??

Cool place! I enjoyed my time drinking of course (; bowling as well haha

I enjoyed my time here. It's a welcoming environment very family oriented. Also our hostess was amazing very knowledgeable about the menu and activities we can partake. By the way I think her name is Giselle.

The good: speed of food and drink service on the lanes! The bad: facilities are dirty and not cared for. We went at opening Wednesday at noon, and the men?s room was filthy. Three of the four sinks in the men?s room don't work. The lane approaches are filthy. Shoes do not slide. Lanes don't appear cared for. Not a good place for serious bowlers to practice. The food and drinks are good but they seem understaffed and not focused on cleanliness

Great for the whole family and the beer is cold just very loud so if u are sensitive to sound sit in bar area.

Michaela is always so sweet every time I come in! Having such a kind, knowledgeable person working up front creates such a great vibe for the rest of the experience! Love the arcade games & the garlic fries, definitely will be back!

It was great fun...played pool for an hour, air hockey, shot some hoops!

Went for darts and didn't expect to have so much fun with their new bowling app/state of the art lanes and arcade. The lanes auto switch bumpers based on bowler. Fun mini games if youd like or traditional. Kids and I had a blast, and the food was actually above par for this type of venue or any venue for that matter. Service was phenomenal throughout including at the bowling lanes with Sierra and the bar with Hope. Look forward to hosting our next social event here. Glad to finally see a venue that has pool

This is the first time we have been back in years and it was a great experience. My kids had a blast and customer service was awesome! Always making sure we were good. We will definitely be back again.

First timer and was impressed. Food was great and reasonably priced and the serving was plenty. I'm also able to observed the new "string bowling" and not impressed being a regular bowler. Definitely will be back for the food.

First off me and my boyfriend go to play pool, give the front desk guy our ID for the table, head to the table and spend like 5 minutes at the pool table looking for the balls to find out the guy was supposed to hand them to us and never did ! Pool is timed by the way, not too bad $15/hr but keep that in mind because we finished one game of pool and he went to the bar to grab a beer real quick and ended up waiting 30 minutes before leaving ! And by that time our time for the pool table was over. It was busy

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?
