The Carts are fun. The delay in time, the amount of time it takes in-between each "available" race can be annoying. It would be more enjoyable if you could come in, race, leave and come back for your next time slot. They charge you to leave. As a parent, I found this annoying. I couldn't wait in the car for a while and come back in to check on my kids, or to enter another race. The racing was the funnest part, the laser tag was not open yet. The gaming was just like the rest, nothing special. Food court hel
Place has potential. It would be great to have an adult night. Maybe have some food carts around the parking lot or add a few more things on the menu for food variety. Karts are fast, but I would suggest going on the track with a big group where everyone knows each other. I got stuck with some random people on the track; they kept on trying to hit me and made the employees stop our karts multiple times to check on the riders they were hitting. Lazer tag should be fun when they open it. They just have to fin
This ain?t it. This Wunderland is new to the building, but none of the games are new. The environment feels weird. All these flashy lights, none of the staff want to be there. Have to sign the go Kart waiver just to get in to the game room, even if you don't want to ride the go karts or can't because it's sold out hours before closing. Laser tag still is not open, prizes are cheap but still charge a few thousand tickets. If you do want to go to Wunderland, go to the one in Gresham. It's way better. The go
DO NOT LET THE REVIEWS SCARE YOU I went with my family of 6. Yes the wait is 1 hour because everyone needs to have an account and waiver signed before you get in, get it done ahead of time. Admission is $2.50 per person, snacks are available pictures attached. Yes there are nickle games. It's loaded onto a card! Customer service was great, we had JEFF! He's an angel. Go karts are on a schedule, riding double is very limited. Get there EARLY to sign up for your slots!!!! (Same for single riders, if you are r
With seeing all the reviews I was skeptical about the place but after going and then knowing about the waivers which is nothing near as complicated just like going to trampoline park, honestly made things easy for the people there to have it done. My kids had so much fun with the arcade and pixel game. Sadly they weren't able to ride the go karts height requirement is pretty tall, but was fine with me as watching the go karts they drive really slow so that was disappointing.
Of course it was incredible! Make sure you fill out waivers prior to going to pay. They are not just for go carts it's for everything. Prices are reasonable for sure. I don't know that the ticket payout is as good but also Doesn't smell like old popcorn. Super clean and staff was wonderful as always. They have a ton of new games and I would highly recommend. We didn't do the go carts or laser tag this time cause we wanted to do them separate. We will definitely return.
It was fun for my grandkids and kids. I will say the attitude and service at the snack bar were less than acceptable and seemed almost rude. Otherwise, we enjoyed the games and go carts
The lights are cool, prices are still great. More games- that's about it. The go carts are super slow, a lot of old games. They put so much into the new design- wish the track was faster and the prize counter had more to offer.
It was actually pretty good! Pros: It seems like they brought a lot of their old games over but still managed to add a lot of new fun ones as well. The games don't exceed 8 nickels max so it's still relatively easy on the wallet. The go-kart track is very well done and the go-karts go pretty fast so it's overall a fun experience. There are three different options depending on age and experience level for the go-karts, so there's a little something for everyone. Cons: The go-kart rides are a little pricey ($
Not exactly sure what any of the bad reviews are about, got in fast, no line, sure the waivers take some time but they have their reason for it. loaded money onto cards easy, nice staff, overall great experience
They are still working out the processes and it shows. Intake is SO Slow - you have to line up before they open and it takes a looooong time. They really need a staff member outside triaging the line, getting ppl online to fill out the waivers and info. Even a sign would have helped. I just assumed there would be a waiver and found it all on their site. The cart track doesn't start up until an hour after they open, the good one doesn't open until 1.5 hours after they open, so we didn't try it. The single
For both of us, we decided to get the fun cards and we put $20 on each of them and plus admission, it was only $44 and we were there for nearly four hours. Plus a round of go karts at $10 each, this place is very cost efficient if you want a lot to do and not spend a lot of money doing it. Games were fun, Pixel was a lot of fun, go karts process was easy. There was staff going around cleaning all of the games and the buttons so everything felt sanitary. Bathrooms were clean and the overall atmosphere was pl
Don't let the bad reviews keep you away. We had an absolute blast. Came in on a Friday night around 6:45. Wasn't too bad a wait and now that we are registered with the waiver it will be faster to get in. Perhaps there could be a pre registered line. Go Karts were very fun. Yeah it took a bit of time to get going but you can tell safety is important. The games were very fun and affordable. We will be back many times.
NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY WHATSOEVER! We had an awful experience today (after dropping a ton of money, but that's beside the point.) After paying several hundred for our family, the issues started right at the start. No disability buttons to open the door. The gate just inside barely had enough space for my father's motorized wheel chair, but we squeezed through. I wandered around looking for an elevator, so my dad could join my siblings upstairs. We asked an employee (Jon), "How are wheelchair users supposed t
Super good time! Only challenge is it's a little slow getting in (on a Saturday). Helps big time to do your waiver online ahead of time. Once in, it was well staffed and lots of fun!??
The arcade was awesome and such a great price! We brought our 3 year olds to play in the arcade for a night out. But my only complaints were 1.) the front staff had bad attitude, never once saw one of them smile. Even when receiving help they all were just in a bad mood and gave off bad energy. Never got greeted with kindness or said have a good night / enjoy your time. I see on the other reviews that bad attitude/rude workers is a common occurrence. 2.) The waiver situation. I get everyone has to do it I j
THIS PLACE IS ACTUALLY AMAZING! Do not be afraid of coming here because of the rude reviews! This is a GREAT place to play games and have fun! The spam of 1 star reviews aren't looking at the full picture. This place is so new and got SUPER popular quickly, obviously there's going to be long lines- that's something to expect at a place like this. Waivers/accounts are there to keep customers and everyone safe and keeping track of who's there, I actually like having the waiver and accounts there for better se
Honestly, people are dumb. I'm in my late 30s and this place rocks. I payed $30, and it got me go karts, games, snacks and prizes. I wasn't expecting anything, but this place rocks. And they'll have laser tag eventually. I left making awesome memories with my son. Totally worth it. We were there for 3 hours. Totally worth it!
The arcade is still cheap so that's the only thing that made it worth it....though "prizes" are INSANELY expensive. 400 tickets for a dollar store toy. I get that they have to make money but that's absolutely absurd. The amount of money it takes a child to get 400 tickets is 100 times or more what the item costs. The laser tag still isn't ready but has been advertised for months. The go-karts only ran like twice while we were there for several hours, making the front crowded, backed up and many just "milli
The original was good, but this one is great. Still only 2.50 to go inside and they do $1 off on some weekdays. New arcade games that are loads of fun, my bf and I put $10 on a card and it lasted us about 1.5-2hrs. can't wait for laser tag to be open, loved that a hotdog was only 2.50 as compared to like $4 at Bullwinkle's or other similar places. Staff was nice, despite it being busier. The consent forms were pretty easy not sure why so many folk were complaining in the comments, plus they get saved so you
You have to sign a waiver just to get past the front counter to the arcades. I didn't want to ride the go karts, just wanted to play the games. This waiver was not built with the customer in mind. In order to see the written waiver, you first had to provide your full name, email address, phone number and home address. This was frustrating, especially because I didn't even want to use the go karts. After I filled out my personal information, the system wanted a photo of my face. There was no way I could bypa
Here is the wunderland experience as of 4/13/25. I arrived about an hour after they opened. I then had to wait in line for about 75 minutes. Once inside the only way to actually get in is to make an account giving wunderland your full name, address, email, phone number, AND they require a photo. That is not optional. EACH person has to do this as well as sign a waiver releasing wunderland from any injury or problem you have with them. And if you plan on riding the go karts you need to sign up at this poin
Not sure where all the hate is coming from. The staff is fine, overworked for sure. I went a few days ago, and it was clean and just fine. I wasn't a big fan of the waiver stuff. But I can understand it a little bit. Maybe require a waiver for specifically Go Karts. But the arcade floor? Not sure. Overall, it's fine. Just sign the waiver online before going in I guess.
The new Wunderland location is in the old Costco building on Mission St./ Hwy 22, so it's right off of the freeway and super easy to get to. Accept, it's one more driveway down from the first one, and in the back of the building. I was thinking I'd see it all in front, so it threw me off for a moment. (I hadn't been down there for a while). I had also never been to Wunderland at it's previous location, so this was a new experience for me. Right off, if you've never been there, you have to register before
My opinion is that they aren't ready to be open still there a huge line right when you get here. you have to sign a waiver and then still have to get to the register to still pay to get in and you must have a picture done when you sign the waiver.Yes you can still play nickel games, but everything is practically digital and it's easier to just get a card. Then go karts weren't running today but the prices is probably why no one was on it. Also there are a bunch of restrictions and rules for the go karts whi
Disappointing Experience at Wunderland Salem ? Not Family Friendly If you're looking for a fun and reliable place to take your kids, Wunderland Salem unfortunately isn't it. Although it recently opened, many of the arcade games are frequently out of order?and when they do break mid-play, don't expect a refund. The staff refuses to return tokens or provide compensation, citing a waiver you unknowingly agree to just by walking in the door. If you don't read it carefully, you might not realize you're essentia
The new location is AMAZING! New experiences, new games, etc. $20 on each of cards and we played for over 2 hours! But they need to get the waiver system figured out. Even if you sign in advance, it still look a while to get into the arcade. Prepare to wait 15-30 minutes even during slow hours.
Went here to go gokarting with friends. Had to reserve gokart tickets in person about 4 hours before our race time. we arrived early and waited in a line 30ft long for over half an hour. It was frustrating just getting to the front of the line and hearing last call knowing there was nothing we could do. They refused to give us a refund or even a later race time and were not friendly/avoiding us when we tried to talk to them. Overall, still needs a lot of work to be able to function smoothly. People who alr
My family visited the new wunderland this last weekend. Here are some thoughts. Waivers. Yes it is not fun but, like a trampoline park, needed. The policies of no outside food or drink, like a movie theatre, well, accept it or don't go there. Another controversial policy wunderland has is the re-admission. It is what it is, anyone can choose to leave at any time, but if you do then know you would have to pay the 2.50. Lines and waiting are not a good time for anyone, how is it any buisnesses fault there
The person on the go karts was rude to my son. It was hard to hear because of the helmet and the person decided to shove the seatbelt on my son. It was out first time here! It was a horrible experience. I don't like the fact that it was a very rude way to explain how to use to karts. I talk to the manager and they sided with the worker saying that it's normal cause they were behind. It's not my fault. Worst experience ever. Not coming back here.
Honestly wasn't surprised, before coming I heard nothing but bad things. Took us over an hour to get in and was informed the go karts was a 2 hour wait? would have appreciated them letting us know that before being in line for an hour. A lot of games out of order, a lot of old games, not many ticket games and the redemption counter wasn't the best.
This past week I took my son to wunderland for his birthday. He turned 8. We decided to go the day of his birthday after school. I knew it would be a bit overwhelming for them since they just opened. I tried to do everything I could to make it easier. I went in before hand and preloaded the game cards. I took a picture of the waiver and sent it to all the moms so they could fill out the needed paperwork for all his friends. When we showed up they started by yelling at me that I wasn't allowed to bring a c
This place was cool, but it's got too many problems. Carts are never available as I've tried multiple times to go race with a large group of friends and family. Called ahead to check if there running and they said yes 1st come 1st serve so we show up and got a story that changed 4 times about how their new policy got added this morning so I stated that I called in the after noon and then he changed his story to ooo must of been around 3 o clock it changed.....pretty sad day for the kiddos we had brought and
Went to go play some nickel arcades but when I got inside they say that I need to sign a waiver. Went to look into the waiver but they require you to register asking for full name, email and birth date to get to the waiver. That's odd because anywhere else doesn't force you that info to sign a waiver. Normally places just have you sign an electronic waiver at the register. You can't just sign a waiver here, you HAVE to register to get to the waiver. Kinda sounds like someone plans on making money off your p
First of all, we had to wait 45 minutes in line because they were making every single person that entered, sign a liability waiver. With this, you had to get your ID photographed and yourself photographed. You can imagine how long this took. When I saw it was two stories I asked where the elevator for people with disabilities was. The young gentleman told me there was not an elevator but because there was a copy of almost every game from the second floor on the first floor they did not need an elevator to b
Fun place, but here's something that?ll help: have a line only for people who?ve filled out the waiver and created an account. It sucks to wait 45 minutes because so many people haven't done a waiver or created an account. It's a simple fix that?ll make a lot of people much happier.
Some friends and I were looking to ride gokarts here on the weekend. We arrived earlier in the day and got a reservation for 6:20. When we showed up at 5:45 we waited in line to enter the building and missed our race time due to other people registering new accounts. When I talked to the manager about getting a refund he told us we were supposed to be in the building 20 minutes prior to race time(we were not told that) and that the company would be losing money if we received a refund or got a later racetim
The existing reservation system needs to be completely reworked. If you don't want to wait at Wunderland for 2-3 hours for your Go Kart reservation, then you have to wait in line for at least 30 minutes, 2-3 hours before, to make a reservation, then come back at least 45 minutes before your reservation to wait in line, once again, and they have no leniency. The staff were unhelpful and unsympathetic. They don't have staff to help people fill waivers online, so large families take a long time to sign and tak
HELP.... Attention disabled community.... My first time coming here as a person who is disabled with two children stood in line for over an hour and a half in the rain was unable to enjoy with children once in due to lack of time left. Second time I came I had to advocate for myself as I can't stand longer than 15 to 20 minutes with my disability. I asked several employees to see if they could allow me to sit and wait the same amount of time so that it was accommodating reasonably my answers were first to b
Amazing time! Went with my cousin We got tons of plushies ! and if we didnt like the one we got we were able to exchange them!!! worker named lukas, Brianna, tucker and erin were so nice !!! Incredible experience !! reccomend this place! just make sure you sign the waiver first so you can quickly get in!!
I'm so amazed that Wunderland kept the affordability even with the new venue! Prizes aren't outrageous either so my kids could actually win a prize. The pixel game is super fun too! I'm giving 5 stars because it was all around an amazing experience, BUT I would suggest working on the go kart schedule. My son was excited to ride for his bday but there were no joint rides so he was really bummed. But still an amazing experience and employees were kind and helpful as well! FIVE STARS!
Like others have said, waiting to get in and waiting for the go karts was atrocious. While you're waiting there's not much to do. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. Youre better off driving 45 minutes to somewhere near Portland and honestly it would probably take less time
First time visiting the new Wunderland in Salem, and honestly, it was a huge letdown. We stood in line for about 45 minutes, and when we finally got to the front ? after already filling out our waivers while waiting ? they told us the waivers didn't save and we had to do them all over again. Total waste of time. The customer service was some of the worst I've experienced at any business, especially one that's supposed to be family-friendly. To top it off, when we were leaving and my kids were picking out t
After our 10th attempt of trying to go to race the go carts after them not being open going through trading or being down for maintenance I am very disappointed. Poorly managed was pin pointed out while waiting in line and was greeted with go carts are sold out if that's what your waiting for. Customer service here is horrible.
Been waiting months for this place to open and finally took my kiddos last night around 7pm as a fun treat. We went initially for the go karts and when we got there we learned we couldn't all go at the same time which is fine but definitely a bummer. So we wait about an hour & 1/2 for our slot and my oldest went first. I heard over the intercom that it's our turn so we head up and when I tell the employee we're here for our slot he yells ?WHAT TIME? extremly short and irritated. After she got going they did
Terrible Customer Service/Games take money without giving credits or tickets....My son was playing on a game that drops the coins rewarding tickets he got 2 500 coin towers and at least another 500 coins to drop not including the bonus balls that were dropped. I was playing a game next to him when 3 other customers were watching we all were celebrating for him. 1 of the customers noticed he was not earning any tickets. I went to the counter to and told them the situation. The person behind the counter told
I tried this place out on April 3rd. Extremely disappointed, no new arcade machines, just a couple new things like Go karts (which sell out pretty early and are on limited schedule) Laser tag, which I couldn't even find out how to attend, and a food court with extremely expensive food. I was expecting there to be a bigger arcade with new games but its all brainrot arcade games now, get some fighting games and some versus games going and I might consider returning. I didn't get to try pixels because there wa
visited with my cousin and aunt, excited to go go-karting. After waiting in a long line, I was told that loose clothing wasn't allowed. As a Muslim, I wear an abaya, but mine isn't very loose, and I even offered to pull it up and tie it since I had pants underneath. Despite this, they still denied me. What made the experience worse was how rude the manager was about it. Instead of explaining the policy respectfully, the manager was dismissive and unkind. The lack of understanding and accommodation, along w
I get that people have to do a waiver for the karts but why the arcade as well? As being a grandparent and wanting to take grandkids to do something fun . We are unable to go here as being a grandparents we are not considered a parent or guardian so now our fun is demolished here and will have to find something else! Very lame !
Wouldn't recommend. They ask you to do a waiver just to get in, we asked why and the worker said it was because the STAIRS, because they have stairs! He was also very smug about it and pushy about us doing it when we turned to leave. Waivers usually take a bit, so if you dont care about waiting a bit and giving out personal information to them, than go for it. Dont really get why they need my full name, birthday, email, and more to go up some stairs, and why do you need all that for a waiver. I don't trust
This was such a disappointment. You can't go outside and go back inside without paying the entree fee again. Speaking of the entree fee it's not worth the $2.50 per person just to get in the door. The staff isn't helpful and they laugh when they remotely reset the game that you are winning on. This place is a ripoff. If you want to go to a good family friendly arcade I highly recommend Dave and Buster?s.
Mm let's see ok this place needs Proper rules or something ok first of all took so long to fill out the waver for why? Second the staff is rude and will constantly remind you that u can not have drinks on carpet makes sense but we where walking down stairs to the next arcade room and was told I need to take my drink somewhere else.. like yes I was. so I guess your not allowed to walk to room to room with drinks ?? Which like isn't that the whole point if you're gonna sell food and drinks but ok I guess. a
It's an arcade for kids. Poorly streamlined entry process even if you do all the pre-work online. A few skill games and lots of gambling games. Pretty cheap prices per play though.
A little bigger than the old one. They have snacks go karts and laser tag coming soon. Several old games and lots of new ones. Service is great.
Great price love the mid week discount kids had a blast wish the Lazer tag was up and running when we went but next time definitely doing that!!!
Getting into the place takes a while, but once you're in, there is plenty to do and see. The go karts are thrilling and new, the laser tag isn't up yet but once it is, I will be going back to have more fun.
This place was so fun to go to :) I went with a bunch of friends for my birthday and we all had so much fun with the variety of games, the staff did great explaining the go karts and it was perfect!
Super fun place, until one or more of the workers that obviously hate their jobs shows you that they do in front of your kids. Terrible customer service, needs better team management.
The people in charge of checking were extremely rude and unhelpful. Whoever checked us in was a manager and was out of line. We won't ever come back.
I hate that place. There was a smaller kid first and I was taller than that kid though, and they didn't let me ride the go kart. When a short kid got a booster seat that was my friend and I couldn't even go and there's not even a height limit not an age limit since my shorter friend got to ride.
Go karts are open on a very limited schedule. They only go about 10 MPH and each race only last 6 minutes. They've also reused all the games from the location with very few new games.
I would not recommend. Games are lame, the go karts are always taken. You can't pre-purchase tickets ahead & their staff needs training & improvment.
Not DISABLED friendly. No elevator, lots of stairs. Prepare yourself to turn around before you even walk in.
I had a really good time at Wunderland! Almost all of the workers were super sweet and friendly to me. Shout out to Kaitlyn!!!
Camas is just so cute and funny, she's the best employee her customer service skills are top tier. I will definitely be coming back.
Do not go here if you have children with Special needs Treats Employees poorly and Doesn't give proper accommodation since the move to the new location they've Gone downhill in quality And it's quite disappointing They should really be doing better
Amazing very clean go karts were fun pixel games was 10/10 I liked all the food they had 30 minute wait tho me and my family will come back
Worst experience in history will never go there again after I put in all my information forced to have a picture And then buy the tickets to go do the goat cards only to get told I'm sorry you can't go because I had sandals On and would not let me go on the go carts at all after I paid for it Then try to have them put it back on my card but they didn't know how to do that five guys with five guys trying to do it And they couldn't even do it so they gave me back cash instead you can't make this shit up.
Idk why so many bad reviews this is for the kids come on people be honest our kids love it we need more places like this in Salem adults we have enough bars let's not knock down the very few things our kids enjoy please ????
Long line didnt let my friends in because of there color and they made it very clear but they let me in im white and there Mexican and very dirty and smells
I've been in line for an hour and a half, no bathroom, no trash cans, no cover from the rain, and my son is ready to leave... ??
Terrible customer service at the counter the lady assumed my daughter didn't pay for entrance but she was very rude asking us about it. Never going back to the place again.
The place was great, but I saw a guy take $100 beside an arcade machine.
Rides to bumpy crashed my Lamborghini Aventador pls add signs.
It was very good except for they need more arcade games
This is a great place to visit and have fun.
This place should not be open yet. No ADA...which I'm pretty sure is a law. Staff is not nice or trained..please beware
Really Fun place to go for family n kids
Paying General Admission on top of paying for everything else is a deal breaker. Too bad!
I had a very good time with my sister and her boyfriend ??
$2.50 was too much for my experience. Not customer friendly at all.
Food was terrible I saw a roach in there and workers were rude to me. Never going back.
The only thing this place good for is arcade games NOTHING ELSE!!!!
Would have been better if the Lazer tag was open
I like go kart there and i hope new Wunderland will open soon and it will so much Funniest 5 out 5
bad waited 2 hours just for them not to let us in ????????!!
Fun place needs more games
One of the most family fun places to go to????
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
