Took my son here for his birthday. We had a wonderful time! The entire staff was so friendly and courteous. We spent most of our time riding go-karts and in the arcade. We'll definitely be back to check out the bowling, laser tag and theater. Excellent pricing and great family fun!

I was very pleased with Traci at a World of Sports. I had the pleasure of having my daughter graduation party at their facility. Traci was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to help us. They catered the food and my guests were very pleased. Brownies was a hit! Fun atmosphere, delicious food, perfectly mixed drinks, and great options for attractions (sports simulations, go karting, bumber cars aka spin zone, movies and bowling. At times, service can be slow as it can be hard to find the right team member for the situation at hand.

This is our second time here. First time we weren't told about the promotion for arcade/go karts. Today we did the current promotion but when we went to do laser tag we were told 5 min wait, then after waiting by the door for that time a different employee says there's people who were next before you it will be 15 minutes. Our family fun day was just what we needed! We started out with the bowling package complete with pizzas and drink, shoe rental and 5 arcade cards ($5 each.) We spent another chunk of time in the arcade before heading over to race the karts and ended up spending the rest of our day inside JB's playing trivia, snacking on appetizers and enjoying beverages before heading home. It was a complete day all in one place at an affordable rate.

This place is a nice place to visit while you are around the area. They have plenty of arcade games such as bowling, motorcycle racing, ski ball, and shooting games, etc. They also have a movie theater there. It seems nicely setup. However, we did bowling mainly. We were a bit disappointed that the food concession wasn't open so we had a bit of hard time with the kids. They only have the vending machine with limited snacks. We had the most amazing night here celebrating my mom's birthday. Our group of 6 adults started our night with axe throwing. None of us had tried it before but we had an awesome guide, John, who helped us get comfortable with everything. We were the only ones at the time and he had staff from the restaurant to come in and get us started with snacks and drinks while he went over things and helped us get some practice rounds in. We were able to play music on the jukebox and just really enjoy our time together

Loved the movie( Sounds of Freedom) and had a great time. The only problem was the sound for the coming attractions was so loud I had to put my fingers in my ears to just be able to sit through them. The sound in the movie itself was perfect.. just please turn down the sounds of the coming attractions. I almost missed a wonderful movie due to how overly loud they were. Nice and comfortable seating, clean theater, cool A/C.. polite and helpful staff..

This is a very nice place to spend the day with family. They have all types of things to do. You can go bowling, play laser tag, enjoy the video arcade, there's a cinema, you can enjoy hot food and I believe there's even a go-kart area but, we never made it to that area. All of this at a very reasonable price! So if you're looking for a fun filled day for the kids and adults as well, look no further! I highly recommend this place! 5 stars!!

JB'S has the best chicken wrap that you dip in ranch? The waffle fries were awesome! Had th best waitress. She made sure our tea stayed full.

Went there on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. They wanted to go axe throwing, sounded like fun. We were a party of 6 looking to eat, drink and play. When we got there we couldn't find anyone to help us at the axe throwing portion. I walked in to see if I could find anyone and all the tables were covered in empty glasses and dirty plates. We had a very enjoyable afternoon with our grandkids and tried all the activities. The employees were very helpful and courteous and prices were reasonable. Fixing the bowling ball return and more ventilation in the laser tag rooms would be great improvements. We will go again.

The staff were all excellent. The new ax throwing setup was fun and the "axperts" were helpful and funny. They made the evening great. The food at the restaurant was fair, but everything else was much more fun. The bowling lanes were great and the movie theater keeps up with the newest flicks. This is an awesome place to have in Halifax county and definitely worth checking out.

Every year we take our students for an end of the year celebration. They get to go bowling and watch a movie. They love it! The staff is wonderful! They make sure that everything is ready for us and that everyone has a great time. The bowling alley, movie theater and restrooms are clean and well maintained. It's a great place to take the kids (there's an arcade and laser tag too)!

Lots of fun. We took our church youth group for bowling, LAZERtag and go-karts. We loved Phoebe in the LAZERtag area! She was super sweet.

The staff is super friendly and helpful and we had a great time. We went bowling and played in the arcade. I had no idea there were go-karts or axe throwing until recently, so may have to go do that next. Lol

We purchased a package where there were 2 attractions plus a $5 arcade card. We did laser tag and go karts! We signed the children up for kids bowl free, in which they can bowl 2 games free, everyday if they want all summer long??. The children had an AMAZING time! The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful! We will definitely be going back!

I really enjoyed myself at this establishment, as well as my grandchildren. It has everything you need to have fun. From arcade to bowling, food, movies, race cars and bounce houses. Also provides drinks for adults! Not as large as the amusement park but big enough to have big fun. I shall return!

Nice bowling lanes. The drinks aren't overpriced. I have yet to try the go cart track. It's small but hear it's really fun It's also an indoor track which is nice because it won't close when it's raining out.

Well I had a great time, went there with some friends and it was nice,nice environment, friendly but a couple of the lane pen retrievers weren't working well. But overall it was nice and I'll go back for sure.

A little bit on the expense side. The movie theater is not good, feels like an d high school. The seats are old and suck. The snack area cold be better. Seams like they pay more attention to the bar and the bowling alley than they do the theater. But there is plenty for the kids to do if you can afford it.

Our experience was good. We bowled a couple of games and then went to play pool and cornhole. Every employee was nice and helpful. Only thing was the AC wasn't working and it was really hot but we still had a good time.

Okay, this place is overpriced to be what it is... also it's not taken care of that well, the bathrooms are not the cleanest and the movie theater isn't well kept either. You would think that as much as they charge for certain things ie. the arcade games, laser tag, etc. that there would be more upkeep.. staff is okay, not all of them offer the best service though. This place has just a very unprofessional environment.

This place has fun for every person in the family with an arcade and bowling for the kids or maybe the go-karts, laser tag, or kid specific movies for them as well! Recent bad experience with the movies. 1 person handling concessions with alot of impatient people. He had no help and was struggling bad. He was polite and nice despite the rush. He called in for help on his cell several times with no answers. Made the popcorn, ran over to make drinks, ran down to take your money then ran back to start over. Go carts were really small and slow good for kids. Bowling was ok kept having issues with the machine that resets pins arcade was small and not much to do. Lazer tag was small and hot no air circulation guy at the ticket counter was on his phone acted like he didn't care and had his pants sagging.

Restaurant & bar were great however this is the first bowling alley I've ever been to that you pay for 2 full games and at 9 PM with 4 frames left they don't let you finish playing your game?that's rather ridiculous. I won't be coming back to this alley anytime soon.

Birthday party and it was awful . No help at all no balloons. Had to ask for his bowling pin. The mom had to do everything. Not even come to pick up trash. No help in serving

I did not visit this side. Unfortunately, they share with the movie theater. I went to the theater to see a movie and they only show 2 movies. I'm not really impressed with the theater, but because of where I live, I only have this choice.

I went to JB's, formerly Spare Times, this past Monday and had a good experience. This is my favorite place to grab a brew because there are 20 rotating taps, and that's unheard of in a town this small. They had several Stone brews, the classic Green Flash, and even your typical pilsners for the less adventurous just to name a few. They also do bottles and offer a plethora of mixed drinks. Go Karts are faster than thought they would be! We didn't break the sound barrier, but had fun with the kids. Arcade is pretty decent, might be better if they changed out the video games more though.

Yes we were there in early evening 4-5pm....wanted to bowl not play arcades, Lazer tag, etc...... And the music videos I was ashamed to see as a 30 year old married man! Took 1 look and horrible! My advise to people reading reviews looking for a nice time- look elsewhere!

had a bad experience with service. Me and a bunch of friends preordered tickets for the new Star Wars movie. We were told that the scanner for the preorder tickets was down (they didnt scan anything when we walked in. We handed our tickets to a couple guys in the doors.) And that we'd have to wait 15 mins to go in, which is fine except that the people that didn't preorder their tickets were admitted on time and got to go pick seats before anyone that preordered. which is the only reason to preorder tickets

I had fun here but it was because of the people I was with. The staff was a little rude and definitely didn't understand basic etiquette. And everything was greasy and dirty but with enough alcohol. . . All things are possible ??

Had a good time at JB's DJ Shakespeare had everyone hyped music was really good. Plan to go again in April to hear DJ Shakespeare. It's a nice place just need little more room for dance floor.

The World of Sports had been updated! The CRTVs have been replaced with flatscreen HDTVs for easier readings. The staff are amazing people and genuinely care about your experience. The laser tag is very fun, but is only really active on the weekend. Good for a private game, I guess! Sort of the same with go-karts, the successor of the skating rink. Now, to be honest, having a newer skating rink would be cool added on, but I prefer go-karting. The arcade is wonderful. Hours of fun there, could use a few upda

They took away the bouncy house for birthday parties. That Is the only attraction my little one can do.

I haven't gone to the World of Sports in several years. They have done a lot of renovations in that time frame. We went for a child's birthday party and the kids had a great time.

Horrible place to see a movie. Went there tonight to watch End Game and some ahole was eating chicken wings and mouthing off. Then he smoked a cigarette a continued to be obnoxious. I left that lousy place and will never go back.
