Wonderverse

Wonderverse

Reviews Summary

Overall, Wonderverse offers a mix of experiences with generally positive feedback for its immersive VR games (especially Jumanji and Ghostbusters), fun arcade options, and spacious, themed atmosphere. Many praise friendly, attentive staff like bartenders and managers, while others highlight delicious food and creative cocktails. However, inconsistent service—some encounters with disinterested or unprofessional staff—and occasional organizational issues (delays, misadvertised offerings, cold food) detract from the experience. High ratings often cite great group outings or date nights, while lower scores reflect frustration with poor service, unmet expectations, or technical problems. The venue shows strong potential but needs better consistency in execution.

We arrived at Wonderverse on a Sunday evening, excited to enjoy some drinks and start playing games. Unfortunately, our experience was immediately soured by incredibly unprofessional service at the bar. When we approached, the bartender looked at us and audibly sighed?an unwelcoming start. In hindsight, we probably should have left then, but we were too excited to notice how off-putting it was? until things got worse. The bartender repeatedly went on her phone, ignored us, and openly served someone what a

Ryleigh was great. She's a great example of the type of mixologist you need to be the face of The Ghost Trap. She's friendly and attentive. She exudes the people skills required to be in such role. She not only took our orders but was willing to explain other cocktails as she prepared them. My wife and I had an amazing date night!

Wow what a nice surprise! We were thinking about checking out Wonderverse here at Oak brook and we're so glad we did! We did $40 for 60 mins of unlimited play and they have really nice VR experiences as well that are included in the time. At the end of our time we headed to the ghost trap bar that's right beside the ghostbusters VR and we loved it! Very speakeasy vibes! Our bartender Ryleigh was sooo sweet, funny, and attentive. I consider myself an annoying order maker but she was patient with me. We are d

I visited on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't too crowded. My party strictly came to play. Nabeel was very helpful in setting up my play card and explaining how it worked. Nabeel is awesome! There was something for everyone like bumper cars, even old arcade games like Ms Pac Man and Donkey Kong. The Ghostbusters VR was fun...I didn't eat at the restaurant, but it looked inviting. I would come back to Wonderverse again.

We bought the Sunday Funday Family Brunch deal. We were the first ones there and were greeted and brought to our table right away. The place is huge and beautiful! It's a very upscale arcade. They have a great looking bar (although I did not partake) and the food was really tasty and the service was great. I don't like complaining, but even though we were the first ones there and the food came out shortly after we had arrived, it was cold. It was a nice variety of choices for brunch...my kids and I loved t

One snafu with a hostess is the only thing keeping me from giving this place GLOWING reviews. We had an amazing breakfast including prime rib and it's all you can eat buffet style. We had tons of fun in the arcade. We will definitely be back (hopefully with a bigger table) haha.

I love this place and my son had such a great time Saturday evening. He was so excited he couldn't even sit down and eat his food lol. He had him a mock tail baby I couldn't tell him nothing. We was celebrating my son 11th birthday and they enjoyed themself. Our server was wonderful and helped us decide on great Options for food. Also he helped me pick the new drink with Hibiscus love it. The bartender was great I just stopped by to say thanks even tho I order at my seat. The Kitchen Manager was such a doll

I had an amazing experience at Wonderverse, and a big part of that was thanks to Stephanie! From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome with her warm and friendly attitude. Stephanie was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at just the right times to make sure we had everything we needed. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure all of our special requests were handled perfectly. Her professionalism, positive energy, and genuine care

Ryleigh was amazing. She has great customer service skills. And she made my husband and I fantastic drinks. Very tasty. We had a great time.

Went here to do something fun for my son's birthday. We booked the Sunday Funday Family Brunch special, which consists of a bunch buffet and a $30 reloadable game card for each paid guest. It was advertised as having character appearances, live entertainment, and interactive activities for the whole family. During our visit: 1) 2 characters did come out and walk around while we dined. The kids were allowed to take pics with the characters 2) there was no live entertainment 3) there were no interactive acti

We went to The Ghost Trap with friends tonight. There was 1 bartender who didn't seem like she was interested in being there. The drinks were very disappointing. The drink menu promises things like toasted marshmallows on top of a whiskey sour which were actually dried out mini marshmallows that were definitely NOT toasted. It also said ?cointreu? as an ingredient but was made with a cheap orange liquor instead. We also ordered espresso martinis which the menu said had a ghostbusters symbol - which were not

Went to the ghost trap bar for a date night, very cool for ghostbusters fans! Small and quiet and comfortable. Ryleigh was a great bartender!

The characters are a nice touch however they don't come to your table, you have to go up to them. Not a deal breaker however the service was insanely terrible. I was going to book their brunch tickets online but when I called to ensure it was still a thing (Tix are from third party, no mention of brunch on their actual website) the lady said I can buy them in person however online there is a discount when buy 4 tickets and would have saved me about $20. My server said if he wasn't too busy he could ask the

The entrees looked good. Some of it came out cold. The dessert is what my sister and I ordered. The trifle was not a trifle. It was a chunk of brownie and cookies at the bottom of a milkshake glass with ice cream and chocolate on top. The gooey butter cake was served cold (not gooey) but its saving grace was the ice cream and pineapples. There was a thick cold dome of white chocolate that would break with the heavy, metal butter knife. When I applied more force, it exploded all over the table and floor. Epi

I visited on a Saturday with a group of 10 people for my friend's birthday. The customer service and the atmosphere were amazing, although it was like a ghost town for it to be a Saturday evening. The quality and the amount of food for the cost were ridiculous. A cake was brought for my friend, and we asked to have it sliced. We were told that would be $2 per slice. We chose to cut it ourselves, but they wouldn't give us a knife. So we used a butter knife that we had at the table, which is fine. But I would

My daughter and I went for Mother's Day. It wasn't crowded at all. Our service was great. We had Jerry and he was super nice and attentive. I had food from the mother's day brunch menu. I'm unsure if these items are on their regular brunch menu. I had crab cake benedict, actually quite tasty. It came with a lemon pound cake. That wasn't too flavorful. 2 managers or asst managers came to say hi and check on us and that was appreciative. The place itself is very spacious. There's a bar and area u can sit and

Found this place from a search during our Chicago visit. We were looking for something fun for the kids indoors. They have an outdoor elevator that brings you to the third floor entrance. The front desk service was awesome as she explained everything to us and let us walk around to tour. You can buy activities online or via a kiosk. We bought a $100 card for our 16 and 9 year old to share and they played for about 1.5 hours. They have VR, escape rooms, bumper cars, shuffleboard, a bar, restaurant and tons o

This place is incredible?it's like walking right into your favorite Sony movies! The VR experiences were absolutely mind-blowing and unlike anything I've ever tried. I'm already planning a return trip with friends to tackle the Uncharted escape rooms!

This past weekend, I decided to dine at Wonderverse and the vibes were outstanding. Their drinks were great! My server was Stephenie and her charisma was phenomenal. She had a very welcoming personality and she just made my whole experience 10 times better.

Husband and I went here for date night and we had lots of fun! The ghost trap bar was so cute and the drink was delicious. The food in their restaurant was ok. The games were fun although i wish they offered more arcade games Update: i highly recommend booking a private event here! I rented a room for my bday and everything was great, all my guest had lots of fun. Thank you Ashley and everyone else !

Shoutouts to Mike the manager, Kamari the hostess, Alex the host, Nabeel the gift shop, and Jay the table attendant. Great attitudes, they checked in on our party of 9 frequently but not TOO often. When we had an item we did not want it was promptly taken back and removed from our check, and the turn around time for the items was under 15 minutes of our reservation beginning. We paid as a group with a 20% gratuity included and they do allow us to split the check once. Everyone can put their cards on the

I took the kids here when they were off school and they had a blast!! The staff was so helpful! My bartender, Ryleigh, was such a pleasure!! She recommended the most perfect vodka drink, definitely try the You Had Me At Hello! I can't wait to come back for date night with the husband!

Omg I'm able to sit and enjoy a drink, nice cover version and great ambience while my children enjoy the environment. Ebony Benson was our bartender and provided top notch service. Very patient with us and we enjoyed her service and complainy. Thank you so much Ebony Bensen

?????????? A Legendary Night at Wonderverse ?????????? If you haven't had the pleasure of being served by Tre, you haven't truly experienced Wonderverse in Oakbrook. This man isn't just a server and bartender ? he's a vibe curator, a cocktail wizard, and quite possibly a national treasure. His energy? Impeccable. His drink game? Unmatched. From the first sip to the last laugh, Tre made the night unforgettable. And let's talk about Nabeel, the comseri (aka the silent hero behind the scenes). This man was t

Tre is an absolute rockstar behind the bar, crafting inventive and delicious cocktails with a flair that is captivating to watch. His recommendations are always spot-on, and he has a knack for making every customer feel like a regular. You can tell he's passionate about his craft, and it shows in every amazing drink he serves.

First time coming here. The food was really good. We had the Salmon and Barbacoa French Fries highly recommend. The manager stopped by to say hello and check up on us which I thought was really nice. Lots of VR games and video games to play as well as a hidden speakeasy bar. Definitely will be going back to play.

I had high expectations about Wonderverse because it's operated by Sony. And they smashed them! The food and service were incredible. Even the employee at the gift shop was just all around happy to be working at Wonderverse. It was so good it made me want to go back home and watch Ghostbusters again! Truly such a fun experience and will be back with all of my friends.

Wonderverse is a very exciting and inviting atmosphere! This place is full of fun games that you can play with friends or family. I really love this place the Vrs feel so real and cool I definitely recommend coming here to have some fun.

Such a fun environment here! Ryleigh was fun, and helpful, and Oshay made us a custom blueberry cappuccino that was amazing! We will definitely be back!

I absolute love this place. Me and all my friend always come here because their food is amazing and so is their staff. My waitress Stephanie was wonderful. She was attentive to our table & very kind. Will definitely be back

We held my daughter?s birthday party here and I have nothing but great things to say about the service and staff. Ashley was amazing at helping us set up the party and the staff took great care of us. Food was amazing. Drinks were amazing. Overall extremely satisfied with the experience.

I enjoyed an afternoon of cocktails, food, and games. The atmosphere was nice. Service was very good.Food was flavorful. I had the fish and chips. Very tasty and a new(to me), very flavorful tartar sauce. It was not what i expected. I really liked it! The flavor did not disappoint! I enjoyed the VR experiences. The pricing is in line with other entertainment areas in the vicinity. I visited during the preview period, so some food items and cocktails were not available.

Absolutely loved our experience at Wonderverse in Oakbrook! The space is vibrant, immersive, and packed with fun for all ages. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed, from the interactive attractions to the welcoming staff. It's clear a lot of care went into creating a place that sparks imagination and joy. Whether you're going with family or friends, it's well worth the visit. Can't wait to go back!

Sal, JB, and Alex were all excellent tonight! They made us feel so welcome and treated us with compassion and care. Me and my family will definitely be returning to Wonderverse because of the experience provided.

Clean, well organized atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff! The VR games are a blast! Especially Jumanji ?? Some cool arcade games & a bar and restaurant also on site. We didn't dine but the food smelled AMAZING ?? We will be back! ??

Ok, question can you please explain why I made plans to attend the Sunday Funday Family Brunch. Only to find out you are no longer having brunch for the next 3 weeks. Well at least that is what I was told when I called. But you will still be serving food once you open at 12pm. Please explain. And on your reservation page, I was still able to make 11 am reservations. So glad I called to make sure everything was set for tomorrow, only to be disappointed.

Went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. Yet, it still took forever to get some of our orders. There were 6 of us and 4 meals came out first. Halfway through, the 5th meal came out. The 6th meal was sent to another table. They ended up comping the 6th item, but shouldn't all our food come out together anyway??? At one point it took so long to get our drinks, but we saw them at the bar, so we went to grab them ourselves. The food was ok. I got fish and chips and the fish were the size of a m

Wonderverse was definitely a good time. We ate prior to coming and glad we did! No reservations. Purchased tickets upon walking in at a kiosk. Very user friendly. I ended up purchasing the $100 card that gave access to all things except escape room and Jurrasic world which was fine. I didnt want to get a time card as once it starts you have that time until your time is up whereas the one we got there was NO time restraints. We did everything else inside such as bumper cars, several VR rides, old school games l

This place is so much fun! The escape rooms were our favorite! Food was phenomenal and service was on point. From the bartenders to dinner service top notch experience! This would be a great place to have a party for all ages. We went on a Friday night and they had live music!! Check this spot out!

This place is packed full of entertainment. VR games. Arcade. Escape rooms. Full bar. Restaurant. Speak easy. We enjoyed our time here.

the place is great, with fun for the family. had lunch here, the food was really good and our waitress, Ryleigh was AMAZING! She was very polite, attentive, funny, and down to earth. the games were great, come and experience it for yourselves.

Right off the bat I'll tell you to go to the speakeasy. It's got great vibes and you can get the same drinks in the speakeasy than u can at the other bar and restaurant. Food wasn't bad. It was flavorful although we did wait quite some time to get served. A table next to us waited maybe 40 mins to get their food. The person refilling waters was the person who frequented our table the most. One of the plates we got was dirty so please make sure you get a clean plate! If you want to do Jumanji there is a kios

Ryleigh was great bartender nice and accommodating, her drinks she made were amazing!! Definitely will be revisiting!!

Sunday Funday! Buffet was delicious with a lot of variety for breakfast and lunch options. Loved the promo with the arcade cards - would make a great date night. Quavo can make some tasty Margie?s!

A friend and I traveled a couple hours just to come here for the Ghostbusters part of Wonderverse and it was soooo much fun! Robert, the bartender at The Ghost Trap made our experience perfect and well worth the transit, too! We both got some of the Ghost Trap drink specials (the espresso martini & the mood slime) and they were so good and so fun. This place is so fun and a must-go if you're a big Ghostbusters fan. And, special thanks to Robert again for being sooo great! :)

If you guys do not give Ryleigh a raise I will not be coming back. She was wonderful and made the best Old Fashion I have ever drank in my entire career.

this place is so much fun!!! Will definitely have to return. we didn't eat or drink anything, but we did almost all of the attractions and games. the BEST part here is the Jumanji experience, it is the one of the most fun VR expereinces I've ever done. escape room was fun(we finished it really fast because tips were coming on the speakers automatically) the Bad Boys racing cars are cool with a lot of movement (6 dollars per play) and the bumper cars were super fun. the ghostbusters driving experience was fu

Loved our experience in this speakeasy. Oshay and Ryleigh served us some amazing cocktails. The free style was my favorite!

I went with my friends for my wife?s birthday at this place and it was a wonderful experience I had. The games, the space and the food was what I was looking for a fun day.

My friends and I came in for a couple drinks, we didn't expect much, just wanted to play a couple games but Ryleigh exceeded our expectations. She made sure we were well taken care of and explained the game cards and game flow very well to us. She made our day so easy and and enjoyable thank you Ryleigh!!!

Our visit to Wonderverse was an absolute blast, thanks to its variety of themed attractions, a lively arcade section, a cozy bar, an inviting restaurant, and an extensive board game area. The arcade was packed with fun games, though the standout was definitely the adrenaline-pumping Bad Boys racing game. A minor drawback was the absence of a ticket or prize redemption system for arcade games. The Ghost Buster's VR experience was thrilling, and the adjacent themed bar, "The Ghost Trap," had a fantastic ambia

Large and spacious. Room for parties, or just great for a date night. They have gaming giftcards and restaurant gift cards. There are vr games, escape rooms, air hockey tables, shuffle boards, racing games, an area for board games, and so many more. My favorite place part was the Ghostbusters Bar. It's a must see. There are 2 bars and a huge seating area. We went to the restaurant after playing the Ghostbusters VR. The food was .

Came for my daughter's birthday and I absolutely regret it! Our server Jaelyn was the absolute worst! This is the most inattentive service I've ever received anywhere. We had to ask the food runners for drink refills and all of our food came out at separate times. Not only was service horrible we were forced to tip her $70 to pretty much ignore us. The gaming and vr side was fun, but I'll never eat here again.

Went to a character meet and greet prob one of the first but was very unorganized. Had reservations for 1215 and they literally ran out of food. And put us in a room where the characters never came to. Cool atmosphere. And manager did rectify the situation. But knowing that it's buffet and all you can est they could have been better prepared.

Very fun and a lot of potential. Some high quality experiences in gaming. I'm a big Ghostbusters fan and have of course loved both VR experiences. Jumanji was next level though. Went during previews and the full menu wasn't available, but the food and drinks I sampled were very tasty. I hope this place does well, haven't seen a lot of promo for it and it's a strange location.

This review is of the soft opening and things are still evolving, so I hope this is received as development feedback and not a final opinion This place has potential but definitely needs work. Let's start with the good... Ghost Trap carried hard, good cocktail menu and decor. I do wish some of the cocktails were a bit more of a spectacle, maybe dry ice, or some smoke. They did taste great and the crab dip was delicious. As for what could be improved, first there's a lot of open space, it's hard to tel

Went to the Ghost Trap saw Ebony and had the absolute best experience! Would definitely recommend the Dawn Punch and FLDSMDFR!

Fun. Jumanji VR experience is fun and well worth it. About 15-20 minutes. Kind of a VR escape room, but you always win it. The Ghostbusters VR is shorter and cheaper. Just a VR video game with a proton pack. If you're a fan, the Ghost Trap bar is amazing. Props and atmosphere. A working ghost trap you can interact with. (The light is green, the trap is clean!) Expensive. But still fun.

Went wanting to love this space. Can't claim we love but we still enjoyed parts of it. For starters this space is massive, mostly seems like meant for lounging and hanging out, which is cool. Var and restaurant and entertainment flank the lounge area. The restaurant food was surprisingly good. Had the barbacoa chips and fried pickles, burgers and steak sandwich. All were great and our waitress was very attentive. The entertainment is a hit or miss. We did enjoy the ghost busters and the Jumanji. My Jumanji

Hi, I had such a great time at this place, I never knew it existed. My server Stephenie was amazing. She is such a sweet young lady who explained the menu options to us. Thank you

Fantastic atmosphere, great staff, drinks are a bit over priced, $20 for a "special" drink or old fashioned. Great for a one time visit. Not sure how long a specific themed bar can stay open. 3 stars just on being over priced. 5 stars on atmosphere and service.

Brunch was horrific! We got There at noon. There were no waffles, no potatoes, no mac. The food that was there(pancake eggs chicken tenders) were cold. We expressed to our server and manager the food needed to be replenished. We waited over 40 min and nothing! So we decided to close out. I ordered 1 drink only. The waiter over charged us cause we had already paid online. Then was no where to be found. Finally got the restaurant manager explained she did credit our card but said there was nothing she could

Truly disappointing experience here. If it was a regular day, I may not have been as angry but it was my son?s birthday. For one, our server at dinner practically ignored us most of the time we were there. We had to track her down and it wasn't even that busy. After dinner, I had a group of 10 doing the Jumanji VR experience which I booked in advance. 3 people in my party did not get to finish the experience because the power went out in the middle of their turn. The workers said they could do it again from

We came to have drinks at the speakeasy, The Ghost Trap. Drinks were standard bar prices and service was very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome for any Ghostbusters fan, very nostalgic. Loved the experience and we are definitely going back.

Wanted to love this place as it's newer to the area but expectations fell short. When booking for the escape room, it was seriously mis-advertised -- we had a decent time in the first room & were excited to continue and go onto the next 2 rooms in the trilogy only to find out that despite the name (the escape room "trilogy" & advertised time of 60-minutes) it was only for the first escape room? Cannot believe we paid $200 for one 25-minute room. Seemed very disorganized & desperate for money. After this, w

We somehow went on a super quiet night and had no wait for anything. The Jumanji VR experience was SO FUN and totally worth the cost. The arcade is fun as well, especially because we didn't have to wait!

2/8/25?Our first time to Wonderverse as a family and we brought 3 other families with us. We treated everyone easily spending over 600$ I want to focus on the positive aspects first which were all the younger employees working at the attractions specifically bumper cars and Jumanji were so awesome and very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable?great with kids. The atmosphere esthetically was very pleasing and modern. Additionally, there was a good amount of arcade games (some were out of order). I wish we wo

This place is awesome! Great games and be experiences. The employees are very friendly and helpful, though they do seem a little understaffed. Super cool place for a date or to take the family.

Went here for my niece?s 12th birthday. We had a ball. We went to dine in and our server (JAELYN) was NOT attentive, all the food came out at different times, our server forgot to put food in and the manager comped fries from our meal but that was the cheapest thing we ordered and not what we were waiting for. Our server continued to walked past us as we asked for things. We had to ask our food runners and the managers for everything. We got our food and everything was under seasoned and or gross. On top of

Went here with my son and we had an amazing time!!! We played Jumanji, ghost busters arena. Arcade games & purchased items Tshirts in the store! The employees were supportive & awesome every step of the way! Thank u Lela & Joniya for all your help! They work here at Ghostbusters & the gift shop! Jumanji was the best interactive experience! It was so real and u truly are a part of the game!!! Ghostbusters was fun as well and the bad boys street racing was A1! The ride actually moved!! Pricing is reasonable a

Kid friendly experience! We had a great time! All the staff was friendly and welcoming! Nabeel & Ria were the best. Ghostbusters VR ride was their favorite. Bartender was amazing. He was all smiles and talkitive.

An unwelcoming old gay white dude was at the door when I arrived. The way he was talking to me seems like he didn't believe that I bought a ticket for the Sunday Funday. After I got my ticket scanned, I saw a group of employees that gave me no attention, so I said "Good Morning". One of the employees asked me was I a dish washer. I said no. I declined her offer for a hand shake. I went to my seat, preparing to eat the buffet. The same lady asked am I a customer. I said "Yes". She apologized for confusing me

Ryleigh was an awesome bartender - knowledgeable and friendly! Loved the Espresso Martini and the two mocktails we tried. Pickle fries were delish too! Overall, super fun place to spend an afternoon!!

Had a party of 35+ for my 40th over the weekend. We had a great time. Focused on drinks, food, and bar area. Ashley and Mike took very good care of all us! All bar tenders too! The Wings were INSANE good! Thanks again!!! Great place to hold a large party for sure. Joe

Alright I'm going to break this review down into a few parts. This review is specific to a pre-paid Hotel Transylvania character brunch with a designated time of 11:45am sit down. The event page sold tickets per time slot with the understanding you'd be sat at your designated time. Upon arrival, we checked in and got our wristbands and were told to stand in line. This is where the miscommunication began. The line was quite long at 11:45am considering that's the time we were to be sat. Not once did staff sa

To be honest, this plane was a complete waste of money. I came in with a party of 4, joining my sister. It said I'm the bottom of the menu that 1 split check is allowed-i did so since i showed up 40 mins late. I was STILL charmed the additional 20 percent for a party of 8+ even though i was at a separate table and requested a separate check. Then I went to go use my card to play games in the arcade. I scanned my card twice to play the basketball game and did not even get to play. I'm assuming either it did

About 1 1/2 hour wait to be seated. Reservation was at 11:45A and got sat around 1:15P. Had to entertain my two kids under 4 as everyone in line was pretty hungry and angry. The host kept seating people towards the back of the line if they had a certain amount of people in their party. We joined a family to be seated in a large table since the host had little common sense to split bigger tables. This was by far one of the worst experiences ever. They had no notice of it being delayed or none of the workers

We were a party of eight celebrating my granddaughters birthday. The food was not particularly good and the service was haphazard at best. First two members of party, one being a child, had to wait for their food to be served while the other members of our party were eating. Secondly, one of our members ordered an RC Cola and to his surprise was served a Crown Royal drink. This would have been funny if except the person does not drink. Finally the deserts were not served in a. timely manner. Suffice it to s

Amazing experience from beginning to end from the time we walked through the door to the time we left, we even woke up this morning, still discussing and talking about the amazing game date night me and my partner had. ?????? The only reason I gave 3 stars for food is due to our dinner reservations was for 9:30. We actually checked in before 9:30 and was told. We still had to order from the late night menu so this election was very limit it. I felt like we should have been able to still order from the regul

My husband and I went for the bar Jeopardy on Thursday night. There are great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place so we were excited. But the questions were like legit jeopardy questions, we knew the answers to 3 out of 30. There were 13 ?teams? there but half of those were single guys who knew the answers to literally every question. So we stopped playing at the end of the first round. The moderator was fun, but it just wasn't fun to play since the same people won every single question, and we didn't know

Really fun place! The escape rooms and Jumanji VR adventure are really great. Love the Ghost Trap bar! Be prepared to drop some coin, but it's great for a special time out.

This was an amazing place!! As a Ghostbuster Fan being able to drive the Ecto 1 in a VR experience was a blast. The Ghost Trap speak easy was the icing on the cake. With hidden gems ?? everywhere and the drinks were truly paranormal!! ( the Mood Slime and StayPuff sour ??) but even if you are not a GhostBuster there is so much more Jumanji ,21 jump st, Zombieland and BadBoys. You can find fun in every inch of this place. My next trip will be for the Escape rooms.

Disappointed!! ?poor food quality! Visited 2 day on Father?s Day. What a brunch disappointment , paying for 3 ppl and then leaving WonderVerse to find a restaurant to actually eat at. Not Right! I complained to the host. No restaurant manager on site. I believed I chatted with a chef and shared my disappointment. First time visiting and it will be the last. Do Better!!!

Love the ghost trap! Ryleigh is friendly and makes great drinks!!

Food is good I had a Philly and the gf had a classic burger worth the price and the fries are definitely good. Came on bingo night!

If I could give this place a 4.5 I would. We went on a date night for food and drinks. We found out about thi on social media and wanted try it out. Let me tell you, the food is amazing. You can tell the menu is curated and the chef paid attention when making the menu. Everything is made fresh there. Not everything on the online menu is available at the restaurant quite yet since they are so new. For appetizer, we had the Mac and cheese balls and they were phenomal. For dinner, we had the fish and chips an

My friend and I had a great time! Thanks to an amazing employee named Julian we were able to understand the game jumanji very clearly. Overall it was a great experience and we will be going back!

Edit (JUNE 2ND): They told me to call a number for help and I did. Was told I would be contacted via email or phone call to no response. Had one of the worst experiences in there EVER. We did the Jumanji VR game and not only was there 100 technical difficulties- I told them that I wasnt expecting it to take that long (we were on a time crunch) so I asked if it was a possible for a refund. A guy there gave us an attitude saying "its set up already, do you wanna play or get the refund?" So we went back to pl

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
