Took a ride on the super fun go carts. They are quite fast and had a long-lasting ride. Lots of wind blown hair and laughs. Finished with a round of mini golf on one of 2 very nice, beautifully landscaped and well maintained courses. The arcade looked well stocked with modern machines but did not play any. You can tell the pride of private ownership in this facility. Highly recommend!
Cool place, with so much to do! The mini golf course was challenging and fun, many of the holes had an optional game where you spin for an additional possible challenge on that hole (putt behind your back, etc?) it made for a really fun game. You can buy a package and also do the maze and go karts, we did all the three and had a blast. There's a pretty large arcade room inside with clean bathrooms and outside has a rock mining machine where you can sift through sand and water to get some beautiful rocks.
We booked online for 7 of us, including 3 adults, 2 seniors, one junior and a toddler along with a cabana near the wave pool. We were initially very disappointed that the wave pool was closed, we were told because of a pipe break that occurred a week ago, and no notice of it being closed was posted on their website and we were really looking forward to that feature. Nonetheless, we went down a bunch of slides and went around the Lazy River several times. The lines were reasonably short so we got to go a
Very beautiful golf course. The holes are simple but yet challenging. It is great for families who are looking for something to do in the Ogunquit/Wells area. There are two different courses you can choose from. Both of them are pretty much the same, but they have different views. They also have different attractions besides golf but I didn't go to any of them.
You may have played mini golf before, but if you haven't tried playing mini golf at Wonder Mountain, then you haven't tried the most fun mini golf that you'll ever play! I have been going here for 34 years! It opened when I was 11, and my family would bring my sister, myself & cousins here as an annual fun experience ( as we were also camping in the campground just behind it.) There are TWO, 18-hole paths to choose from. Wonder Mountain & Nautical Nightmare. They're both equally fun, (but Wonder Mountain wa
Fun place right on route 1. Pricing was reasonable. No food options but they have bottles of water for sale (much needed on a hot day!). The golf was very typical of other mini golf places (2 courses). The go kart track was a challenging shape (not just a circle). The maze was unique and great fun!
We purchased the adventure pack that allowed us to do the mini golf, go carts and the maze along with $3 tokens for video games. This cost us 29 per person. There are 2 mini courses to choose from. The golf was fun we picked the one that went up and down the mountain. The maze was different where you have to have various animals to punch on a card and get out with the fastest time. The go carts went a bit slow but were still fun. We enjoyed ourselves for the afternoon.
What a great time at a reasonable price! There are two separate 18 hole courses here, they are both such fun. Prices are reasonable, they offer discounts for seniors and you can play one round of 18 holes and then add on an additional 18 holes for $5 per person. There is plenty of parking on site.
Family trip, we were staying nearby. Brought the kids here. They have a blast and so did we the adults. Arcade were amazing and cheap. Minigolf was also an incredible experience as well. We highly recommend this place.
My friend and I had a great time racing the electric go-karts and playing minature golf. Bathrooms, arcade maze course and food shack were all closed. Both golf courses open. We did the Mountain ??? Course. Moderately challenging. The electric cars are cleaned after each race. Wait time is reasonable. Cars have sound effects and move fast. Prices reasonable. I recommend a visit.
The only thing which could use improving is that there are NO garbage receptacles, I only counted 2, so people left their empty drink containers throughout the mini golf. I didn't do the mave. The go-carts were also fun. Only drawback was when a mishaps happened and we had to stop, time wasn't added on to make up for the stopage
Had lots of fun with the mini put course. Came in at opening time, not much people, but gets crowded fast. Worth it! Fun arcade inside also
I went to play mini-golf and play in the arcade with my grandmother there, it's always fun to be there and it was no exception, the customer service was amazing, and the games in the arcade are amazing, and the mini-golf is exceptional, Very well done Wonder Mountain!
Wife and I -- both grandparents from far away -- had so much fun being kids again. Enjoyed golf and karts (which were surprisingly fast and terrifying...to us).
5/25/25: We went here today and at least 10 arcade machines were inoperable. Very disappointed ?? Had we known ahead of time, I don't think we would've bought $20 cards per person. Originally review: Very clean and professional staff. I'm very impressed with the facility and best of all, our girls enjoyed the arcade. Unlike other arcade in other areas in NH, you get more for your money with tokens and the all digital card makes it easy to keep track instead of holding arcade coins. Keep up the great work ?
Had high expectations for the place but was disappointed. Not very baby/toddler friendly. No barriers to separate walkways from the water. And the covid water in the river does not entice to stick around for long... The water ?? is what you get at Johny Potty ... Or airplane toilet. Lol.
Very cool they have two courses to choose from. We went with my sister, her boyfriend, my husband, my son and myself on a Saturday night. It was fun and clean. They also have a go cart track and arcade that looked fun but they were closed by the time we finished out game
A great mini golf experience including 2 course options- each 18 holes and both with unique challenges. It is expensive though for a family outing.
I've been here before and it's a good time with the kids. The go-karts are cool because they are electric. They don't make any noise so it's a little different experience but they go just as fast as gas ones. They have two mini golf courses and a maze. I'd rate the golf courses has middle of the road nothing terribly difficult and not a huge amount of obstacles. The one downside of this place is there arcade is not very good. When I was there most of the games were not operational. Stick with the golf and g
Excellent mini golf course. 2 to choose from. Go carts are lots of fun. Highly recommend, and will be back!
We had such a good time. The course offers all kinds of fun challenges. The go karts were a blast. We will definitely be back
Go carts were fun for the kids. Good place to have a break on a beach vacation. Maze is over very fast with older kids.
Took the kids for mini golf. Upon arrival, another family gave us their go-cart tickets as they were leaving. The attendant taking tickets exchanged the 2 tickets we were given for one 2 passenger ticket because my 8yr old couldn't drive alone. Their is also an arcade and a maze the kids can enjoy. The kids had fun. We will definitely return again.
Me and my friend and my sister and her friend all went to go mini golfing and when we got there, there wasn't a line so we got to golfing as soon as we got there, the experience was nice and every one was very kind, it was a little on the pricey side but it was worth it my sister also lost her golf ball in the water but thankfully I had brought a golf ball for some reason so she just used that but sadly I didn't win but I still got second and my sister's friend won.
On average, not bad. If mini-golf is your destination then I suggest you search elsewhere. I was able to spend about two hours entertaining a 15 and a 6 year old here with the golf course, arcade, and maze. There are also go-carts, however they are costly and you may be the only rider(s).
Funnest mini golf I've ever been to! Some of the holes have a spin wheel which gives you different (optional obviously) ways to putt like, use your hand or throw it like a bowling ball or use your foot. That added an extra fun factor but Mountain course we did was really fun. Staff was friendly and helpful, place was well kept, can't say enough good things.
Super clean, everything brand new and well kept. Great twist on the miniature golf course and fun for the family. The maze, go carts, arcade room and mini golf are all top notch. The thing that makes it great is the pride in the way the owner cares about all the aspects of this entertainment center. Thanks for a great afternoon.
Took my son here on our vacation we had a blast playing mini golf and the go carts were fun too...till I hit a frog on the track??
Had a real fun time at Wonder Mountain. We did the animal hunt maze 1st. Then the go karts. The maze was quite fun to do. Challenging enough, but not too difficult. Kids will have fun without getting scared or "lost". There is an observation deck so you can watch the action and give "some" guidance. It was too windy to play miniature golf, so we rode the go karts afterwards. The karts are electric and had plenty of pep. I wouldn't call them fast, but they were surprisingly quick for what they are. Plus ther
The reason I gave this park only 1 review is because of the arcade. Very disappointed in the condition of the machines at the arcade. The one game we wanted to play was broken and when we informed management that they should post a sign he seemed like it was no big deal. Two other workers also gave off ? oh well ? impression . Go carts. Mini golf and maze were fine just overpriced in my opinion.
Both courses are decent but lack a "fun" factor to them. We did the mountain course and only a couple of the holes had any real obstacles in them, most of them are relatively flat. The holes themselves need a bunch of maintenance and are very rough. Decent fun overall but a very simple course.
Two great courses to choose from...water features are everywhere...easiest one of the best courses in the area...also an arcade and go-karts !!
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service on the evening of September 8th. One staff showed little consideration - the woman with short blonde hair, who could benefit from learning how to communicate respectfully. I understand the desire to head home, but there was a serious lack of judgment during our visit. We had six kids, some of whom needed to use the washroom before we left the property (washroom in the car in the parkinglot), and the way we were treated left us speechless. Very poor expe
Had a fun evening playing mini golf. Had a choice of 2 courses. Very busy but it moved along nicely. BTW, I beat my partner by 1 stroke. ??
I got hole in one on my 2 putt!! I like the mischief spinner wheel, it gives the putter a different challenge. It's a nice to spend with the family. ????????
We went at the right time. There was barely anyone there and that added to the fun. Go karts was great and don't underestimate the maze.
So much fun. I wish there would have been more to do for the price.
Great mini golf course! The holes were fun and entertaining! I especially liked the spin the wheel challenges at some holes along the course. The place definitely gets busy at peak hours which can cause the course to move a little slower. We only did one of the mini golf courses but their are two on property, they also have go carts, mazes, etc. Seems like a great place for families to spend half a day or evening!
Awesome fun at Wonder Mountain Mini amazing golf! Great for family!
Go carts are AWESOME! Didn't get to finish mini golf got too hot to play all the way through. Arcade is air conditioned with lots of fun games.
Pretty cool place to hang out with the kids. Mini golf was nice. The place was well kept
Mini golf is wildly over priced and under maintained. Wrinkles in the turf, holes in decorative walls, mismatched steps that are easy to trip on and unoriginal course design. Not worth half the price.
Fun place for friends and families with Go Karta, mini golf, maze, ice cream, etc. Beautiful design
Omg! So much fun. Great 18 course mini golf. go cart racing ....well kept.. prices ok. But really the only place like it in the wells beach area. I kicked butt. 39 par. One under par. Yeah!
We ALWAYS have a Fun time here.Everyone is great every summer we visit, miniature golfing we love. Thank you to the owner for opening up a fun family park.
For us, this is a must visit when we go on our annual Maine vacation. The go-karts are pretty fun (although a bit pricey) - but the mini golf is really good. There are 2 distinct courses and they are both really fun. Each hole is well maintained along with the entire property. The only issue is it's a bit pricey, and peak times it is VERY busy so you can feel some pressure putting when you have someone behind you! Never had an issue though - people generally take their time and understand how it goes s
My son really wanted to try go karts, (he's 6) and this was an OK park, it had an arcade, it had a great mini golf course, but the coasting - we were the only ones, we had to wait for staff to come over, they were hard to steer, so that's why I'm giving this place a 4 but if you are looking for mini golf - fantastic place
Pretty cool place. They have 2, 18-hole, mini-golf courses that are quite expansive but don't take too long to play. They have go-karts and "wonder maze" which we did not check out. The arcade looked decent. Prices aren't bad. We went at lunch time (also on a tuesday) and it was quite dead until we were over halfway through. Then it started picking up people-wise. Overall would definitely recommend as something fairly quick and fun but you could also do both courses or hit up the maze and/or go-carts
Clean, 2 mini golf courses, each were fun and challenging. The go karts were a bit hard to steer but also a lot of fun. I highly recommend
It was soooo fun. I recommend getting the golf and go kart package. It was truly very fun.
Buyer beware! They will NOT issue refunds, only rain checks. Rain checks are useless when you're on vacation, it's unreasonable. We were at the first hole for 30 minutes with no movement, so we requested a refund. They refused and gave us rain checks, even though we were departing the next day. The rain checks also expire in this calendar year, so you can't carry it over.
Go-karts were kind of abysmal... Small tracks slow course. Definitely more for children not adults unless you want to go 10 miles an hour. The golf course was just okay honestly it was a long wait... Lots of teenagers taking too long barking at each other. I don't mind waiting because it is mini golf after all but there was no pizzazz. Like where are the cool dinosaurs and the talking clowns and the windmills that spin.. Those are the things that I remember playing mini golf and it made it really fun and
Our first time, we were there just to play mini golf, but there are other things to do (mini golf, go carts, walk trough maze, arcade). They have options to pay for combinations of play depending on what different things you want to do. To our surprise they have two 18 hole courses to choose from or play both. We chose to play the Mountain Mania course and had a really good time. It has nicely designed hole layouts with various natural obstacles and traps. A sufficient paved walkway and sometimes a bridge b
It was a fine mini golf course. The issues we came across were: - No shade on the course(s) - They have a lot of unused space that makes what they do have feel smaller and like an afterthought - We were ready to stay longer than we did to explore more of their offerings, however they do not have food. No ice cream, no hot dogs, nothing. We are planning on going back to play the second course. We would?ve played it today but we needed food after being in the full sun for an hour and we couldn't get food ther
Perfect area for this place. Had an enjoyable time with my beautiful wife. If in the area I will defintely be back.
Went here with the family. We experienced the go-karts, maze, and mini golf. We had a blast. The mini golf course was in great shape. Go karts were well maintained and the track was fun to drive around. Lastly, the maze was a blast. We spent a good amount of time navigating the maze and finding all the animals we were supposed to locate before exiting. This is a great place to go for a fun filled afternoon.
This was one of the nicest mini golf places I've ever been to! It was very clean and maintained. It had cute streams and waterfalls and had the holes on different levels of the mini golf "mountain". There are two different courses you can play but if you want to play both, it's an extra $5/per person. I had the most wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone or everyone who comes to visit Maine! I'm not the best at mini golf and I somehow managed to get a hole in one!
Visited twice -great non-beach weather option. Both miniature golf courses were fun, maybe a little easy for adults and older kids. The go karts were a big hit. Expect to wait a while for your turn- on the weekend they were loading more efficiently than on a weekday. Nice long ride. The arcade is what it is. Lots of fun for the kids and a money drain for the parents. Kid was thrilled, so a win. The staff throughout the park was very nice; special mention for the patience of the teen at the arcade prize coun
Such a fun family oriented place We bought a family bundled tickets Rode the go carts. Played mini golf we all had fun. Went thru the maze. Played the arcades. All 4 of us had am awesome time. Highly recommend going . ??
Had a blast here with my wife and daughter. We went on a cloudy tuesday and chose the adventure combo which cost about $20 each for adults and i think $14 for our 7 year old. It included one round of golf, the maze, and 3 arcade cards with a couple bucks preloaded on each. Not much waiting time when we went. There are 2 different paths, for an extra 6 bucks each you can take whichever one you didnt take the first time (or replay the same one if you really wanted to). All in all a great family outing.
Great time here with my son and brother. Highly suggest if your in the area for some good old fashion fun.
We visit Wells ME just about every summer. One of the highlights is visiting Wonder Mountain for a round, or two, of mini golf, and some fun in the Maze. We had another great time this year, and the staff was very helpful, but the 4:00PM closing time was a disappointment. I understand staff shortages are real, for various reasons, but this attraction is better suited to be open at least until 8:00PM. We ate dinner one night, and planned on playing mini golf, only to find the place closed. We ended up g
The golf was great but the go karts were inconsistent in speed and responsiveness of the car. The arcade was a complete piece of garbage with most games shutdown and the games we could play were old and some took money and didn't play. The young men working the counter in the arcade were very kind and helpful though.
Fun for go carts and golf. The arcade was ok. It definitely is a economical stop for children while in the area.
Nice mini-put great ambiance Specialty 4 of july
A great place a great place for the whole family to have fun. Wonder Mountain Fun Park, I give 5 stars. This is a place that has a lot to offer great mini golf with two different courses to play and if you like go karts they have a go kart track. And they have a great arcade you should see it they have quite a few different games. And if I remember right when I was there they had some kind of maze that you could go through. Wonder Mountain Fun Park, has really good free parking. If you're going by and you h
Overall the kids had fun here. Two different mini golf courses and they loved the go carts. The issues are that they don't give any information when you check it. It took us a few minute to figure out there were two different course and where each one started. The other issues is that we waited almost an hour for the go carts. The line did not seem long at all, we would have assumed maybe 15 minutes? But it seems that the cars have to recharge in-between uses, so it makes the line move so slow. Every
Awesome place! We did the Go Karts and mini golf, great price and so much fun!
I'll keep short & sweet. Mini golf: fun, enjoyable, clean courses, attention keeping Go-karts: not fun. Intentionally slow & very governed. I understand its a family track, but to me, its focusing too much on technology & not on the aspect that it is actually racing & racing is competitive by nature. Maze: enjoyable for what it was. Nothing much else to really say about it. Plastic walls with metal frames. Arcade: quite possibly the worst, money hungry, greedy arcade I've ever been in. Some games cost $
Lots of fun. 2 large mini golf courses. A good size Go Kart track with electric Karts, and a really big maze. Lots of fun for the whole family, and not super expensive.
We thought it was a little pricey for the quality that you get. The challenging mini golf course was pretty much the same as the regular one. Go karts move very slowly. We did like that the rules are reinforced and that most people followed the group size rule at mini golf. This allowed us to have shorter wait time at each hole.
Fun but it was 55 or something to play a round of mini golf for my wife 2 little ones an me. Seemed pricey to me.
I have been to this place several times and after my experience this year I can't say I will ever go back. When we arrived there had already been thunder and a worker was standing by the entrance and never said a word we then bought our tickets to mini golf and with all the no refund signs that work then said that we should be prepared to pull people off the course at any moment but we could start. I 100% understand that this is safety protocol but we were told that lightning would be the deciding factor. A
Arcade stinks. Ticket prices are set to high for any child to get a really good prize for none of the machines actually work right. Mini golf is good if your not behind 50 people...my daughter likes the go karts
family enjoyed the 18 holes of mini golf and gokarts.
This place is great. The go carts are fun and are great for taking family and friends. The mini golf course Nautical Nightmare is not to challenging and lots of fun but I have not tried the Mountain Mania. Overall I would go here again and would recommend it for everyone.
Mini golf is fun but if ur older and have a harder time walking wouldn't recommend playing here course has some difficulty spots to walk on.. go-carts where fun and maze was fun. Arcade half the games where off 1 was broken and running no high ticket payouts on grand prizes so winning ur kid/s that prize they want might cost u alot but was a good time outwise
I want to thank Gavin and staff. Came in to do go karts. My 17yr old has downs. Gavin walked us over. Gave us the whole track so my son could experience driving the kart without interfering with other families evening! He took the time to make sure my son understood how to drive and was super patient. Thank you Gavin. Amazing customer service!! We love the mini golf and the maze!
Mini golf and go carts were very fun. Price was average. Arcade was a rip-off. With high-priced games, low ticket payout, and prizes that are expensive.
Always a fun time. The 2 mini golf courses to choose from make it interesting. The arcade is small, but well air conditioned. The ice cream stand is good and this year they have a new go cart track.
Last stop before our trip home. Worth the money. The course was great for our kids 9-16. We missed the go carts because they were not opened but will definitely return. This mom appreciated that it was not tinned down and had limited trash. Warning: to exit you do have to go through the arcade room.
They have a couple of rides for adults and some others for little kids. Prices are fair. Go karts we're ok, not too fast but it ok. Not too many people during week days. Good ice cream.
Such a wondeful mini golf course! The size and intracy really impressed me!! If you're in the area looking for great fun with mini golf please take my rating seriously! Also did go kart racing with a few others, fun but nothing too exciting for me. For the younger kids I'd imagine it'd be great!
All I can say about Wonder Mountain Fun Park is that the kids didn't like it, they loved it! The thing they liked the most was the Go-karts. For me it was hearing about go-karts for 12 hours. Waiting on line for 20 minutes and it was over in 5!?!?!? But the smiles they produced were worth it all.
Came here with my mom for some down time after the beach and we had a blast. The minigolf course is a ton of fun with two different courses to choose from. The maze made me feel like a kid again, letting me compete against my mom (and ultimately team up) to find the animals on the card.
We had fun here. Take advantage of the combo deals to save a few bucks. Two mini golf courses to choose from. Go-karts are fun. Good way to kill an hour or two if you have kids with you on vacation.
Apparently they don't stick to the times as posted on the website because me and my children just literally went there to go to the arcade and its closed at 540pm! Not anywhere near 8pm closing as posted online. My kids were very disappointed on this rainy day. Update ...I wrote this review 5 years ago and we finally made it back to Maine and decided to try the Fun Park again. The times online are STILL different than in person BUT they were open and we did get to do everything. We did the Go Karts, Human
We had a good time playing Mini golf, both courses looked clean and well kept. Arcade was closed due to COVID so that was a bummer and the line for gocarts was about an hour wait. Staff is very friendly. The girl we spoke with said the best times to go are first thing in the morning or during dinner.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
