Wind Creek Atmore

Wind Creek Atmore

Reviews Summary

Wind Creek Atmore receives mostly positive feedback, with many guests praising clean, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and diverse amenities like the arcade, pool, and restaurants (especially Fire Steakhouse). The casino's expansion and upgrades are frequently mentioned as highlights. However, some guests report issues with noisy rooms, uncomfortable beds, unreliable TV service, and disappointing slot payouts. A few criticize the lack of smart TVs and high food prices. While many enjoy their stays despite gambling losses, others feel the machines are unfairly tight. Staff are generally commended for professionalism, though occasional service hiccups occur. Overall, it’s considered a well-run property with minor operational flaws.

My weekend stay was amazing. I enjoyed the room with the view, the amazing spa experience, and the Fire Steakhouse experience. I ended my stay with lunch at the cooking class. My stay was awesome from start to finish! I highly recommend.

Our anniversary stay was great. The front desk had decorated our room before arrival..it was a fun start to the stay. Our meal at Fire was amazing and our waitress JP was the absolute best!!

Casino was as good as any.. However we were there for a concert and they double sold my daughter and her husband's seats almost causing a fight. Both couples clearly had tickets for the same seats. Then at the end someone had the exact same ticket as my wife's. CAN DO BETTER.

The bar staff at the pool were superb. We enjoyed seeing them each day. The movie theater left a lot to be desired. The soda fountains at the snack bar did not work. They said to get drinks in the hall where you go to the different movie theaters. The only thing available there was carbonated water. None of the drink flavors had been refilled and we couldn't even get regular water. We paid for drinks that we did not get so we couldn't eat the popcorn we paid for either. It was very disappointing and made th

This is a very clean and properly maintained hotel and casino. We really enjoyed ourselves and found the staff to be very helpful. The only downside is that it's pretty far away for us, otherwise we'd come a whole lot more. Well done! Beautiful property!

Issue with mini fridge upon check-in, was immediately taken care. One of the best was the room, it was spacious & the view was panoramic. Check-in staff was having a hard day. Gaming was expected, gambling. The food served in the $25.00 showdown of disappointment should be disinfected & destroyed. I tried several different disgusting soured menu items. The whole Asian themed outlet is reprehensible. I have never ever been served soured sushi until Atmore. I immediately gagged & spit it out. The dumplings we

The stay was a couple of days for a convention. Room was fantastic and non smoking hotel. Was the plus. The location is the only thing around so the casino is it. The real issue is food. Two options, an overpriced buffet style stations w different ethnic food options or a very expensive steak house restaurant in the hotel only. The food was ok but not great. If you're expecting to find decent coffee in the morning it comes from a wall machine in the casino and the creamer was out both days. On day one we we

My wife and I stopped by on 06/07/2025. We played about 6 different slot machines while we were there. We hit several bonus rounds. But the average payout from a $1 to $3 dollar bet was $35. This was after putting about $200 in each machine. On the way out there was a box where you could donate your cash out voucher if you had .30 cents on it. The box was full to give you an idea I guess most people lost . Next time we will just keep going. Nothing to see there

From the drive through the beautiful Alabama countryside and the quaint town of Atmore, to a warm welcome at check-in (which included being named as a 'guest of the day' which came with a movie and food voucher), to a large and comfortable corner room with wall-to-wall windows, to a fun gaming area that included announcements and disco lights whenever someone won a jackpot, it was just an incredible experience all around. I detoured here from my airport arrival enroute to an event in Lynn Haven, Florida, an

Wonderful resort and Samantha Cooper was outstanding Casino host. She took care of all our needs when we missed the flight. She made sure that the transportation was there to pick us up the next day.. Just outstanding person

I've stayed at Wind Creek Atmore a few times, and every time seems better than the last. Past issues with internet connections have been rectified. The food at the "market" is so much better than any casino buffet (I had a cheeseburger, some pasta with meat sauce, capped with ice cream). Check in was a breeze (thanks to Shakita). Valet parking went smoothly. And we were amazed at the expansion of the casino to include bowling, cinemas, a huge arcade. Didn't hurt my opinion that I won a few bucks in the casi

Love coming to this casino . There are always new games to enjoy and keep you entertained. The food especially, the Fire Restaurant is a great place for couples in a very romantic atmosphere. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The food was awesome. You have to try. You will love.

The casino is a main draw, here's a hint; it's a bingo system at heart, grouping players into pools, where balls are distributed to the players in first come-first serve fashion, with better bets weighing averages differently. Try varying the timing of spins (Wheel of Fortune), buy all the max bets for a given machine (play multiple w/partners too) or calculate the numbers frequency in advance (impossible w/o AI assistant but I digress), and don't forget to occasionally switch the bingo card to your liking

We had a very nice visit to Windcreek Atmore. The room was very pleasant, Dianna at the front desk was terrific. The format of the Market food court as opposed to a standard buffet was nice, but lunch and dinner menus are identical. That didn't impress as the steakhouse has limited days.

I started playing at wind Creek Atmore in 2021. I have never had a bad experience! Other than losing some money, which is all part of gambling,I've had a phenomenal experience there. The staff is very friendly and helpful! My birthday is Tuesday,April 29th and I'm coming to Wind Creek to celebrate my birthday with the greatest casino and staff in the world! I look forward to having another great time and hopefully for my birthday,I'll win big big! See y'all soon!!

Everyone was kind and courteous through out my stay! Did not have a microwave to warm up my breakfast sandwich, but Valet services was a great help! Enjoyed my stay...but lost too much money! Will be back one day to recuperate! smile

The place is very comfortable and inviting. Atmosphere is fun and there is plenty to do for all age types. The pool, arcade, bowling, theatre, casino. However some of the customer service reps can be quite rude. I was not at all impressed with the professionalism of some of the customer service reps when dealing with issues I was having on my Windcreek app, not helpful at all and really made my mood worse than it was. Not speaking for all of them but definitely a select few. However would recommend to frien

Love the upgrades on your rooms.. absolutely beautiful. I haven't been able in 2 years to visit, I had to fight breast cancer. Now I'm through with treatment and no cancer ,praise God. Hopefully to see you soon. I'm not crazy about the upgrade on the machines, and the $$ you have to earn before moving on. You hardly get bonuses or if you do,no $$ to keep you playing. We hardly got any machine up past $80. Some Korean said she's going to report this . I'm not sure what she thinks but she was being very ver

I love wind Creek in atmore Alabama. I was very well pleased with a king size bed and a room that overlooked the stadium outdoor stadium. I and my companion were very very tired as it neared midnight and I was so sleepy so we got a room and passed out for the night I was so very comfortable thank you again for the nice room it was clean well taken care of the lens were very very clean and very neat. I'd like to say thank you wind Creek for your support and for your great works in your neighborhood and in yo

Everything was perfect! From the welcoming and very helpful staff that greeted us and was sure to take care of our every need to the absolutely amazing Spa staff! We already have another trip back in the works! We are definitely looking forward to our next stay!

Wind Creek is a very average casino. It's a little cleaner than some of the lower end ones. The location is awful, there is nothing out there. The rooms are average, but clean. We didn't receive any bad service during our stay, besides from the cooks at fire and steak. The website makes it seem like there's so much to do. But besides gambling (which we did a lot of) there wasn't much. We went to the movies, the arcade, the bowling alley. There's nothing else in the surrounding area, and nothing outside of t

I had a great experience except for signing up for the first time being there. they gave me $20 free play. also an extra $10 for putting in my email. it took them almost an hour and a half to put it on my card. I had already played the other money I brought their. I want $40 but I played it back. I would love to come back. I live 5 hours away. in the roaming it's so expensive in atmore.

Everything was good for the most part. Got there on friday checked in went to bar had a few drinks. Left went to meeting back to bar for a few drinks. Saturday after meeting went to bar was told I couldn't have crown apple. Asked why just said I coudn't. Asked for supervisor was told to hang around one would be by sometime. Went to guest services asked for one and was there in just a minute. Supervisor very nice handled the problem Just the one guy that workss the bar still not sure what his problem was.

The casino is always clean and fun. Lots of slots to choose from. You can order a drink right from your slot machine! The Hotel is very nice and clean too. Front desk staff is top notch!

It was very nice as always an actually they remolded all the rooms an added some new slot play areas since the last time I was there about a year or so ago making it even nicer than I was use to...

The rooms were very nice. The beds were very comfortable. Employees were amazingly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. They were also kid-friendly and very accommodating to my grandchildren. The food was delicious. We have eaten at Fire and Market both were excellent food and service.

Decided to set up a visit for my birthday with a dinner and hotel stay on the property, with the wife. Dinner was fabulous, tasted great, very attentive service. Polite friendly and informative during the entire dinner. Checkin was easy with no wait at the main counter. The grounds are under construction which I wasn't advised of until I booked the room and an email was sent out. Trying to walk around there with the construction walls up was like playing pac-man looking for a route sometimes. I know it was

Had a great time! The room is Beautiful! Very clean and had a new smell. The bed was very comfortable. We had a King bed so there was a little round table with two chairs also a chair up to the desk which has the tv on the wall above it. Wish I had pictures to show what I mean. The casino is huge and full of fun slots to pick from! The buffet was great!! We didn't eat anywhere else. But they have other places! There are some fast food restaurants in town if you don't want anything they have. We're coming ba

The overall look and cleanliness of the room was outstanding, however, it was an adjoining room with only a thin a door, separating the two. The people in the room next-door, left the TV on past midnight and at its highest volume, then they came in and proceeded to argue for approximately 2 hours between one and three in the morning. It was extremely hard to sleep in that room.

The service was amazing and room was awesome. We had a family in the room next to ours and they were up all night slamming doors and fighting with each other. Other than that we had an awesome time.

The hotel room was very relaxing. We stayed two nights in a row just to get away and relax . I just wanted to escape and have a peace of mind . The room was amazing but i didn't win anything playing the slots . I hope to hit a big jackpot soon . If you're thinking about booking book oh and it's kid and elder friendly !

I love this place. Everyone is approachable from valet at check-in to checkout. Rooms are clean and updated. When I want to get away, this is my go to place.

It's better than most casinos as far as having a chance to leave with a little in your pocket. Try the app for wind creek. You can actually get free play. Up to 100.00! If you must know I lost 100.00 tonight.

My room, a deluxe king, was small, but adequate. It had a giant wall of windows that provided an excellent view of the building and event area. The TV was on a structure that blocked about 1/3 of the window-wall, but it was not detrimental to the view. What gives this room only 3 stars is the lack of slow-close hardware on the doors. Distant doors would slam loudly enough to wake me from sleep all through the night. I don't blame the people who were up late, but how easy it was for the doors to slam themsel

Our stay was excellent... from the beautiful room we stayed in to the wonderful food we ate to the very exciting time we had on the floor! We never had to leave the casino grounds. Windcreek Atmore in an all around great place to visit.

It was my birthday and it was a great trip. Look forward to coming again in the future. The room was amazing! ! The Market was delicious. It was all around a great visit. ????

Room was wonderful, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Huge bathroom, very nice. It was very quiet there also. Can't wait to come again. Mostly stay in the RV park, which we love too

We truly enjoyed our visit! If you get a chance to eat at Fire Steakehouse restaurant (reservation is a must) it is well worth the price. Its been a long time since we had a waitress has good as she was. Also, you can tell by the high quality of the food in presentation & taste that the chief's take pride in preparing great food. The room was clean and nicely laid out. However, we only had two towels and the sheets were so itchy that we had to sleep in our day clothes so that we were covered head to t

I went down to the casino in atmore for the Kim concert. Everything was great love the casino and the buffet area. Had a great time ethic concert, there is an outdoor amphitheater and it was really nice. Room service is the only complaint I have. I put in an order Sunday morning for an omelette that never arrived. I let them know when I checked out at the front desk. They apologized.

The room location was great, right next to the elevator as I requested. The bed was Very lumpy and uncomfortable!!!! It was horrible, I have never had a bed there that was sooo bad And the television went off around 1:30 AM and never came back on, I called the desk and asked if there were problems with the tv service and Kesha said nobody else had called and complained but when my husband went downstairs to get breakfast, he was told the system was down ??. She did offer to send someone in to check the tele

The bed in my room was sooooo comfortable!!! I wish I could take it home. All of the hotel staff were friendly and spoke to me and seemed to be genuinely happy to have me as a guest. The food at the Market was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wind Creek is always a top of the line place to visit. I love taking my whole family to this beautiful property. It has everything that a 9yr old and 69yr old could ever want. We love the pool.

Loved our stay. Rooms are lovely, spacious modern and exceptionally clean. Quick stay so no chance to use the spa, (free wifi and plenty of charging ports) pool, bowling alley or theater-next visit! Plenty of slots to entertain. Couldn't get into Fire steakhouse so be sure to make a reservation! We will definitely be back.

The rooms are nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel staff very nice and friendly. I didn't give a 5 star because of the breakfast and the service in the dinning area. Very expensive $33.00 for an eggs that wasn't cooked right. And asked for orange juice and was given a bottle of Dole that looked like brown OJ and tasted nasty. 2 lady's that I dealt with in the restaurant area were very unfriendly.

We love Windcreek Atmore and visit often. We also dine at Fire once or twice a month. Food is always great. However this trip the lobster bisque was bad and gave my husband food poisoning. The staff was very helpful in getting my husband the attention he needed. After a night in the hospital, he was good to go. We'll be back to the casino soon, but we will probably skip Fire for a while.

I want to rave about one of their casino hosts. Morian is an absolute gem! He took care of us from the moment we checked in. He made sure that all of needs were met. He was attentive, warm, and so kind. Experiencing employees like Morian makes driving the extra miles worth while. Thank you Morian for being a shining STAR at Wind Creek Atmore!

Wonderful get away place! the food is very pricy though they need to do something about the buffet! Not like it was before they rebuilt to expensive to eat there But the room and slots are great! I love to go there!

I can't say anything about the room But casino floor was really nice with many variety of machines. I didn't expect this casino to be this wonderful because of the location but I am pleasantly surprised. We normally go to Biloxi for casinos but we will definite start coming here. When we signed up we got $30 play for free and $10 food voucher per person. They have restaurants (we ate at all you can eat food court style), and the food was good. I didn't see any table games though. But slot player like us,

The room was amazing. It was clean and spacious. The signature toiletries We so elegant. The staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely stay there again!

This is always a perfect getaway for my children and I. We love everything about it. Only thing that I want to improve is having my complimentary rooms back because sometimes I can't afford them. Please consider changing the bed frame because they are not safe a child fall and bump their head.

Had Spa package which included 50 Massage, Mani & Pedi. JENNIFER was Amazing. She makes you feel SPECIAL which is a gift. Room had awesome view of Outside Theater, pool & waterworks. I had a Fabulous time. Can't wait to go back and stay longer soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Usually we have a great time but this time wasn't enjoyable at all. We had the noisiest people next door that kept waking our baby up all night. On top of that ther were kids running up an down the hall banging on doors after 10pm. Hope yall get the security to do better.

Everything was fine as far as the room go I have no complaint. It is when I was on the gaming floor I lost $1080.00 that was the worst part of the vacation. Drove 3 hours to donate money!! LOL!!????

Very disappointed. Was put in a room with a connecting door. Noise level unacceptable. Could hear loud TV and conversation. I was awaken at 2 o'clock in morning until room next door fell asleep and then in the morning at 7 singing Happy Birthday. When we told front desk, no response. It was pretty much from thin walls plus people being inconsiderate. We won't be back!

Even though I lost a lot of money, I had an absolutely amazing time at WindCreek, Atmore! Once again, Brittany, my waitress was awesome. She's always so attentive and so nice always smiling makes you feel like it's OK to lose money lol just kidding. I am just absolutely impressed with wind Creek. Yall hire some great people. I'll be back on May 21 See you guys then maybe I can win some money! I also had a manicure and pedicure, which was awesome and I had a facial again. That was awesome. It was just overa

Food ... Does anybody eat at this casino. I ordered a club sandwich and it was bread vevita and ham . No lettuce not tomato not mustard nothing . I can't believe that this is acceptable ..... Do better .

From the very moment we arrived at wind Creek casino Atmore. We were treated kindly and respectfully.. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.. The fire restaurant was amazing. The gaming was fun.and the room was clean and comfortable..we will be back.

I truly enjoyed a great weekend at Wind Creek Atmore. The suite overlooked the amphitheater and pool, made for a beautiful sunrise. The casino layout felt open enough to move freely with wide walkways. Morian (English) became my favorite casino host right away. He was very personable, and he has followed up for my next visit to make sure there is a room ready and let me know of upcoming events. There is a wide variety of games with multiple denominations. Almost every employee I encountered was friendly. Ev

We just went to the casino. It was a fairly disappointing experience. I got 2 dragons to go off on a game and won a whopping $2.35. It's not much fun when that stuff happens on a regular basis. Casinos just aren't my thing.

All I can say if you haven't been there, you need to go. The Casino was very clean non-smoking and restaurants were very good .. The massaging spa was the best I've ever had Wish you were closer. I'd go all the time.

No wins for a week straight. Lost way more then I should have. Just straight lose. I was playing max bet most of the time. When I did get a bonus it payed less then my bet every time

I celebrated my boyfriend 60th birthday here at Atmore Casino. Our room overlooked the pool and amphitheater. The view was breathtaking. They placed Happy Birthday balloons and a card in the room during our absence. They also provided him with free play and food credit. Hands down!!! Atmore you ROCK!!!

Nice being back at WCA. Enjoyed the nice rooms, and the market place. It was great thank you. You have changed the games that noone was happy with. These are not paying like they use to. A lady told us she was reporting your machines. Having them checked. I told her if they want to push us away then keep this up.

We were there on Monday & Tuesday and they only offered 1 food option. Because we didn't want to venture off premises as this was intended to be a one stop shop we had to eat the same thing both days. The spa only allows access to the wet area 1 hour before or after the treatment. Which was another huge disappointment. The TV on the room doesn't swivel but the sitting area is off to the side in the room. This meant we could only watch TV on the bed. The slot machines are different and isn't a replica of the

This is a very well run facility. Everything was amazing. Can't wait til we can come again. The room was extra nice and so many things to do here.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is helpful. Sat outside on a bench and also watched how well the property crew maintained the grounds. This casino is a well oiled machine.

Bruce have been upgraded and looked fantastic! Ruth checked us in, we've had her before at the front desk, and she is wonderful!

I usually have a great time at windcreek locations. This time at Atmore Not so much unfortunately we had a few problems with the room, the floor, at the movies (Snow White screen was broken it looked like the movie was 3d) it was hurting our eyes but my 8 year old daughter didn't want to leave. Other than that we made the best of our kids spring break

I had a five star experience across the board at Atmore Casino. From hitting the slots, to enjoying my delmonico steak at Fire, to ending my evening in my (much appreciated) upgraded King room!

Front Desk Bonnie is just a joy to see. She always helpful and friendly. She remembers all you needs from prior stays. That impressive

The room and property were great I enjoyed my night stay the only thing I had no microwave but due to that inconvenience I still give 5 stars because I understand shortages. I had fun and so did my grandkids in the arcade and movie theater.

My children and I had a wonderful stay at Atmore. We used the arcade, went bowling and even saw a movie Every thing was right at the hotel We ate breakfast at Starbucks and dinner at the market The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tube on a cool day We can not wait to visit again

Always good entertainment. Jim Melton, Hotel host was a pleasure to talk to. Weekend of 6-7 -8-2025 was great. Thanks to Jim Melton and staff at WCA.

Always a very clean and beautiful room and able to get a table at Fire with first class service. We absolutely love this casino. I won a jackpot and had the music played for ME!!

I attended the cooking class on January 11, 2025 with my family for my birthday. Chef Todd was the greatest. Everyone truly enjoyed and we will be returning soon. Thank you Wind Creek for an enjoyable trip.

My stay was amazing. Not to mention my new host has been great. The calls, check-in?s and getting me updated on the new tier awards has been appreciated. He has did an awesome job on making me feel like a valued guest which spends quite a bit of money at the Windceek Atmore establishment. Way to Morian!!!!

Hit the jackpot and machine all of a sudden says "locked by host" got told by an employee that the machine lost connection to the server so they couldn't pay out the jackpot I hit. Coincidence? I THINK NOT. Bunch of thieves and scams

I arrived on Sunday, March 16, 2025. I requested a microwave upon my arrival. I was told there wasn't any available. I requested a microwave again on Wednesday. I never did receive a microwave. I purchased free play on Tuesday using my WS points. I purchased 50.00 for Tuesday and 50.00 for Wednesday. As soon as that purchase was made, the free play was taken away. I did not win any money off of the free play. I put a lot of money into the machines, but won very little. I am very disappointed. Ple

Everything was nice. A lot of new game and great success playing them. It's a good day trip just to get away.

The truck parking is like after the war is effectively bombed. I invite the manager to personally drive his private car, not the casino car, to the truck parking lot to see the reality. You should be ashamed of how you treat truck owners.

Wonderful stay! Clean rooms! Won! Had a blast! Food at the Fire Steakhouse was amazing! We had steak and lobster! Bartender was friendly! We love it there and bring friends and tell them about it! Can't wait to go back!

I came here to give a negative review on the buffet. I was seated then they walked off and didn't bother telling me how the restaurant worked as it's not your average buffet.. I then went and got a Philly cheese steak sandwich that didn't have all the bread and it looked like ground hamburger and cheese it was disgusting. I also got onion rings that tasted like they have been sitting in oil since this morning yuk!! The only lady I could say that did anything polite for us was the sweet lady named brittney t

Our stay was based on location - not the casino. We were there for the drag race down the street. For the price we paid for our room - I was very disappointed. NO SMART TV! Are you kidding me? In 2025 in a "5 star" hotel - I can't log into Netflix or YouTube? That is insane! Then, at 11pm - the pitiful glitchy cable they have goes out. Completely out. No TV for us. We reported it - the next day on our way back into our room we stopped at the front desk and asked if it was repaired - the lady lit

Tyisha N helped me throughout my booking to assure I have the upmost best care during my stay. I highly recommend requesting her for and room related or booking related information or services.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
