My nephew had his 11th birthday party there and it's awesome!!!! There's so much to do like shoot pool, skee Ball, Pacman, air hockey, zombie games, etc.... Its 2 rooms full of fun arcade games and lots of classics too.. very fun for both adults and children. The games are soooo cool and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and nice arcade
I had a super good time here. I thought i was a kid again. Parking was great. I didn't see any staff but all the games worked. I went for a party and will go back again. Bathroom was clean.
Really fun place. I took my 13 y/o there for something different to do. He really enjoyed being able to play whatever he wanted. They have two big rooms full of games including pinball, video games, air hockey, skeeball, and even a rock climbing wall...all for $10.00 an hour. There is a spot to sit and eat food that you bring with you. The outside of the building is not the most inviting as it sits back in an industrial park and doesn't really have a sign posted with hours. Just check out their website fo
Really great place for a kids birthday party or adult. We had our 8 year old party here and EVERYONE had a good time including the adults. You can not beat the price to have a private place for a party. I highly recommend this place to anyone if all ages
The best hands down!! Have done multiple birthday parties for my kids here and they have never disappointed. Wide selection of games and adults have a great time as well. I don't usually post reviews but this place deserved it for their top notch service. Thank you!!
I hosted my family annual Kwanzaa event and everything was perfect. All the games worked, very clean and the owner was very accommodating and made us feel appreciated! Great family time. Oh, and did I mention some of the best pizza in Wilmington was included!?!?! Please support this Wilmington hidden gem!??
Highly recommend this hidden gem. If your a fan of video games or the arcade scene, this is the place for you. I came here once for a birthday and now its a regular thing. To the very knowledge staff, to the nostalgic arcade room feel, to the vary video games old and new their is something for everyone here.
We had my daughters 14th birthday party here. Everyone had the best time! There was a smile on Everyone's face the entire time. Scott makes things very simple and straightforward. He has a great mix of arcade machines newer and old. We even got the high score in a pinball machine and got to enter our initials in. I forgot how great that felt, what a feeling!! Absolute wonderful experience. My daughter and her friends have made some great memories that I'm sure they will be talking about for the years t
This place is a real hidden gem. We had a private party for my son's 18th birthday (so there were all adults/young adults there) and it was awesomely fun. Because it was a private party, we brought our own food and drinks (in addition to the pizzas and sodas included in the party fee). We had the whole place to ourselves and had a great time trying everything in the place with NO COINS NEEDED! The staff were really easy to work with and we had a great time. Highly recommended.
My husband and I booked our son's graduation party here. It was a 3 hour private party. The price was very reasonable, and we got pizza (great pizza!!), soda, bottled water, and juice in the party package. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The selection of games is large, including pinball, tabletop bowling, pool, air hockey, DDR, skee ball, basketball and foosball in addition to numerous arcade games. Even with three hours to spend, I still didn't have time to try everything I wanted to! Everyone w
We had a good time. It was a nice place for a kids party. The games had some miles on them so don't expect the latest titles just a blast from the past.
We had my 10yo son's birthday party here. What a blast! Had a hard time getting the kids to come have cake or pizza, they didn't want to stop. That goes double for their parents as we played recent video games and pinball from our childhoods. Great setup! Only concern would be parking, it is in an industrial park so I guess you could park at the neighbors if they are closed for business.
Pretty awesome! Great selection of games.
Pretty cool place. While the exterior may be modest and the location is not the greatest, there are lots and lots of fun classic arcade games to play here! Would totally recommend a visit if you like arcade!
Covid friendly, nice and courteous attendants, children ages 5-15 and adults loved it, the children learned quickly how to play the old school amusement machines ( pin ball, air hockey , pac man, Foosball etc) will use this as a summer camp trip.
Fun atmosphere, lots of great games!
Purchased a Williams pinball machine from Wilmington Amusements over a year ago. Very happy with our purchase. The after sale service is some of the best I've ever experienced. Truly glad I decided to purchase from Wilmington Amusements.
A little cramped, and despite paying for rental time other people were able to come in and use the free time we paid for. Aside from those it's a cute lil place good for parties under 50 or so. I'd go there again m
I grew up playing Pinbot, F-14, Fire, Getaway I and II etc. Then later on Adams Family, Twilight Zone, Fish Tales etc. So, I was excited to come here when I heard they had pinball machines. Unfortunately, most of the machines had something wrong with them effecting play and the playing fields are extremely dirty. All in all....very disappointing.
This is the most awesome place on the planet! I've been twice for birthday parties, and both the kids and the adults have a great time. Super fun place.
Awesome atmosphere, fun, lively, perfect party spot for kids or adults. Highly recommend it!!!
Hidden gem! My family celebrated our son's birthday party and we had great time thanks to Scott!!
Oh this is so cool ! They charge by the hour and trust me they don't really time u ! But ya get the run of the entire Game rooms and its fun fun fun till ya gotta go !
Had a coin op pool table moved into my basement and they did a great job. It was a hard move but the made it look easy. Thank you!
Great variety of pinball machines, nice condition. Pretty large selection of other arcade games as well. Really nice place.
Great place to relax and take you back to your younger days. Decent price all you can play per hour!! Can't wait to go back.
Went for a kids birthday party, it was a fun place. The gaming zone had many varieties for both kids and parents:)
Kids had a great time. Adrian is a great host! We Will be back in a few weeks.
Great for parties! Offers a great selection of pinball machines, classic arcade games, and other attractions.
It's a awesome place to host birthday parties and there are arcade games you can purchase.
Hosted a bday party here, been here just on my own. Place it awesome and accomodating. Go here.
A good place for the children to play.
Cold pizza bad times
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
