Wild Willy's Adventure Zone

Wild Willy's Adventure Zone

Reviews Summary

Wild Willy's Adventure Zone offers a mix of fun activities like mini-golf, arcades, go-karts, and ropes courses, with many praising its clean facilities, friendly staff, and family-friendly atmosphere. However, some find it expensive, especially for larger families, and note issues like broken arcade machines, crowded spaces, and occasional maintenance problems. While most enjoy the mini-golf and arcade, a few criticize the value for money and lack of upkeep. Overall, it's a popular spot for kids and adults, though pricing and occasional operational hiccups may dampen the experience for some.

There were so many things to do here and it's very unique. My husband and I tried the ropes coarse which is amazing if you're a thrill seeker, and we did a round of mini golf. We did the Dino theme (they have multiple themes) mini golf which was so fun with interactive features , fun facts, and unique holes. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try everything and it is a bit expensive so definitely expect to spend a lot of money. Golf and ropes was $60 together before tax but I think they have deals too s

We bought the package for go karts and the 18 hole mini golf for 49.95/person. It wasn't worth it, the go karts were very slow and with this you do not get what you pay for. We were initially really excited about the go karts, afterwards it was a let down. You only get a few laps for the price you pay. If you're looking for speed or a thrill, look for somewhere else, it's just not worth it. There is a large track with faster go karts called the track in town. Mini golf was probably our favorite thing abo

On a rainy weekend at the beach these places are a godsend. My daughter was down at the beach for her birthday but half the weekend was rained out. She really wanted to go kart but wasn't big enough to drive so we did the arcade and Lazer tag. The game selection was pretty great and almost all of the machines were operational which can be rare at arcades. My daughter loved the Minecraft Dungeons game. The 9 year old also got to play a very small game of Lazer tag but she had fun. At the time we were there n

Fun mini golf and arcade place, has fun rides and race cars, sadly one of the courses was closed and no reason given and honestly the only reason for lower score was the outdoor card readers for the gun game are broken and not maintained and they don't say broken, the staff could care less if you were there, understanding they are teens earning extra, they cared way more about their gossip conversation than serving any customers or even putting the golf clubs away, general cleaning or even retrieving the ba

The Pirates Course for miniature golf is a fun one although most of the holes aren't anything special. The animatronics make up for it though but it would be nice if some of them affected the game in some way. The plant life around the course is very pretty.

Highly recommend the Dinosaur mini golf. We had so much fun and our toddler would've stayed all day if we allowed. The employees here really keep this place immaculately clean. As a mom of a toddler a business that keeps things clean does not go unnoticed. The arcade was surprisingly big for this building. We did just about every game and the only one not working was the dinosaur race/shooting sit-down game. The bathrooms were big and clean as well. We went in the off-season because we are locals so I can't

We loved Wild willy. The go carts were a bit slow for my teens liking but they had fun. Also the golf was super fun. We loved all the games they had indoors. Definitely worth the money spent. Also super clean place and restrooms. Thank you to all the employees who work here. You are doing a great job.

The mini-golf was really fun! Especially during the weekday, it wasn't too crowded. The arcade though had so many machines not working I think almost every 4:1 was either inoperable or needed repair. Not sure about the price point how worth it because I went with a big group and we didn't get the package with tickets. I can see taking littles here and they'd have a great time. The mini golf seems like a good value.

Playing goofy golf was pretty funny. We enjoyed the in between animations. I'd love to see the holes repaired as some have edges and the ball can't get in it.

We played put put and the course was fine but when my wife asked for clarification about go carts the guy behind the counter told her to " go read the sign again" and was rude. Drive to Destin for laser tag and go carts the staff is much more friendly.

Most of the arcade games were working and the ones that were out of order were clearly marked, so we had no issues with losing credits for nothing. This is a common problem at our local Main Event. Anyways, we only experienced the arcade section here and can't comment on any of the other activities.

Great spot in Destin for putt putt! They had dinosaur and pirate themed courses with fair prices and a discount if you chose both. They were each 18-hole and well maintained with a variety of features on each. Our favourite feature were the animatronic dinosaurs and the mist fans that helped you cool off in the Florida heat. They also had a variety of indoor experiences and arcade games which are great for escaping the sun on a hot afternoon.

My daughter is 6 and tall enough for the ropes course. I am terrified of heights, so I could not go with her. The guy that helped her was so kind to her, and she got to go to the very top! He and the other employees at the arcade were super nice to my kids, too! They had a blast!

We had 5 boys under 6, one being an active toddler and the owner was so kind and playful with our little guy. The place was clean and our boys had a great time!

Super clean and the staff was really friendly. Laser tag and mini golf courses were in excellent condition, as were the arcade games. One of the best mini golf courses in the area. Top marks!

Great place to go with kids. We did the go-kart and bumper boat. It was really nice. We also did the 4d movie it was awesome experience. Arcade games are cool as well. Worth the money

My review for most part is based on golf course. It was scorching outside but each hole had a fan with mist to cool you down. Overall, I thought the course was amazing. One of the golf ball got lost in the sauce but an employee didn't mind fronting another ball. The inside has arcades and a VR area. Next door there is a shop that serves ices and candy. Much needed to cool down. I'm sure during the summer it gets packed quick. Definitely an adventure ??

Had a great experience. The golf courses have a little wear, but were still very impressive. Kids loved the animatronic dinosaurs along the course. Arcade and western shootout game were a lot of fun. Expect the inside to be very busy when it rains. Great time over all. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a great time at Wild Willy's. Go-carts were so much fun that our 2 boys couldn't stop smiling! Played putt-putt but got interrupt by an incoming Tropical storm. The arcade has some fun games to help during the rain and they did good with all the CoVid19 restrictions. Being a local means we can always go anytime we want as long as it's open. Highly recommend going if you're here on vacation or whatever. Fun for the whole family!

Came here for the arcade with my mother and sister, so this will only be covering the arcade. Very fun and pretty cheap. Don't expect very fun or easy to win prizes, just expect a fun experience. It's best to bring friends or family. I will start by saying that a majority of the games were related to gambling for tickets instead of playing a real game for tickets. The amount of tickets you get also aren't a lot unless you 'play' the gambling games. I had hit a few jackpots on Ski Ball, but the highest I e

The kids and I had a wonderful time and prices were good.

Fun place. Was a good mix of easy for the kids but had some unique challenges as well. Was clean and in good repair, we enjoyed our time there and will go back.

We had an incredible time here! It was nice and clean with a huge mixed game selection. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Destin. Next time I think we'll purchase the $100 per person unlimited game play so we can play even more and ride the go karts.

This place is really fun. They have a ton of games and activities for people of all ages. We played laser tag and it was just us and we had a blast. It was very cold in the arena were we played so you may want to take a jacket. There were 2 girls there that helped us and one was very helpful while the other was kinda of rude. We were there in the fall during the pandemic so it was not busy in there so she didn't have to be rude. I would say that the games are a bit expensive. You buy a card with pints/credi

Place has many indoor & outdoor activities & arcades. However, it is VERY EXPENSIVE if you have a large family. Plan on a minimum of $100 per person. One thing they did not explain was that the arcade winnings are automatically added to the card swiped to play the game. Very convenient, like a casino, to handle winnings. However, each and has 2 different values. The dollar amount you load the card with to play the games and the winning ticket value, which can be used for more play as credits or "cashed in"

We are locals and have not been here yet. We had some friends in from out of state and decided to take the kids here for the evening. Great place to have some fun! We enjoyed go carts, the arcade, put put golf and the climbing maze of ropes! Everyone had a great time, and we will be back!

We went here for the arcade, and it was a relatively good-sized arcade with good games to play. They also had prizes you could redeem with your points from playing games. They have a rope course on site and an outdoor putt putt.

Arcade was very expensive. Most games cost $1.20 to play and you pay $1.00 per "coin". We opted for the play by the hour, so unlimited play for 60 minutes. I was upset that all the points we accrued didn't matter. You don't get any points, so no prize, when you pay hourly. We did the treetop gym. It was a lot of fun and challenging. We went with our 5 & 6 year old because they weren't 48 inches in height yet.

What a fun way to spend the day! I used to love arcades, but somewhere along the way, I lost interest in them. Wild Willy?s rekindled that love! This place is great, and offers something for everyone. They not only have traditional arcade games, they also have laser tag, miniature golf, an outdoor tree top climbing area, bumper boats and a go kart track! Our party included people of all ages from 4 to 58; we all had a blast! There's an indoor area with arcade games geared toward younger players, which is r

Came here for a birthday party. The birthday room and 3D movie was nice and fun. However, it's too loud and crowded so air wasn't so great. We had headache after been inside for less than 2 hours. Staff was friendly.

Super fun place! We spent a few hours here while we were waiting to head to the airport for our flight. We did both 18 hole putt putt courses, we liked the Dino one better. The go karts were on a fun track, they were electric and really quiet which is great for kids. We didn't do bumper boats but it looked like everyone was having a good time on them. Arcade was worth the break from the heat. Also, the bathrooms were spotless. The entire place was just really clean and well kept. I wanted to note that manag

We take our kids to the arcade occasionally. The game offerings are fun. HOWEVER.... there is always many machines malfunctioning or not working at all. Things happen, that's not really the issue. What bothers me is that despite these machines not working, they are still plugged in and accepting payment. You only find out it's broken after you swipe and have wasted money. I counted at least 4 machines that did this today. In all my years of going here, I have never seen a sign on a machine that says "out of

Decent prices, two unique putt putt courses. Wife and I had plenty of fun. My only complaint with those courses is they really lack variety in length and layout. In fact, they are all a par 2. But, you want to BS and have some late night fun. Worth it! Also, military discount.

Great atmosphere with a good variety of arcade games. Nice obstacle course tower. Would definatly recommend for anyone looking to have some fun.

Really enjoy wild willy's and love that they have built on to the original fun they offered, but they are starting to look run down when it comes to their first put-put course and arcade games being broken/not working. Food is good and kids have fun. Really hope they don't let the arcade slide into a place people don't want to come to anymore due to broken games.

Good mini golf but the climbing was closed because "they were understaffed" which makes no sense. The have hours posted for it but some schedule enough people to have it open for those hours. Edit: After going back another night to attempt the climbing course. It was open and I was able to actually do it. It was quite fun, scary, and challenging. Would recommend to a friend.

Good time with the whole family. One of the attractions wasn't working. Not the greatest if you're having to maneuver a WC. Other than that it was good.

Wonderful time! We played for hours in minigolf, arcade, laser tag and VR! Can't wait to go again -Brian

We had a blast. Atmosphere was fun, clean, managment was absolutely great! As a family we couldn't have asked for a better day together. Both race tracks, tree top challenge, 4D movie, and good old fashioned arcade games. Would return for sure

Such a fun and exciting place for the whole family to enjoy together. There's a dino island put put golf course with a bunch of fun hazards and obstacles, also there's a great climbing course out front with lots of helpful attendants. The arcade has lots of great gifts and prizes as well.

Such a fun place to go golfing and ride go carts! They also offer arcade, water bumpers, a trampoline. My three year old had a blast and he did the 18 hole course. We had a party of 6 on a Friday at 6 and there was not a wait. We had a lot of fun and the course was entertaining!

We went on a rainy day so was no wait. Putt putt is ridiculously expensive at $21 / person. Arcade has A LOT of games. Was fun but again, very pricey. Not something we could afford to frequent but was fun for a couple hours.

Rainy day in Destin took kids to adventure zone. Pricing was a little aggressive. Overall decent selection of various things to do Arcade, go carts, putt putt, climbing, snacks etc. Worth taking the kids for a change from beach or pool.

Fun place for kids for a short time.. gets really expensive for arcade though to visit frequently.. spent $50 in less than 30 mins. Wish could purchase a local card or something so could bring kids more often. They love arcades but to bring all 3 for a hour can buy 2 ps5 games.

Clean facility. Clean courses. Go kart track was nice size. The arcade part leaves more to desire but we went for the mini golf. They have a great small area for toddlers to play a quick 9 holes. Reasonably priced. Ice cream and yogurt shop attached was good.

We did have fun playing games. The employees tho didn't seem enthused at all about working there and were not interested in helping the kids cash in their tickets...coloring and homework were more important to them. VR was fun but it was a little glitchy.

We played golf and it was 18 holes of a whole log of fun in the sun. The misters keep you cool along the way and the landscapes are wonderful.

I will say right away the arcade can be fairly expensive. The machines don't give very many credits. My son did walk away with a price he wanted but it was pricy. We loved the mini golf and go kart package. The ropes course is still closed as of Dec 2024.

On a rainy day during our vacation in Fort Walton, we took a trip to Wild Willy?s. We saw great reviews and our daughters were excited for the arcade area. We've been to several similar arcades and we have had so much fun together. To start, I wish I would have know that 40% of the machines weren't working before buying points to play the games. Several machines would even take the points off of your card but wouldn't allow you to play the game. Other machines would give you the wrong tickets all together.

Disgusting bathroom, no hand sanitizer and every game rigged to take your money. Worst value is the pearl game just inside the door. ONE freaking ball for 2.20. I won't ever come back. $100 in 30 minutes lol

Great spot on Okaloosa Island with arcades, go carts, put put, frozen yogurt, ice cream, and so much more! If your looking to pass sometime I highly recommend stopping in to Wild Willys for some fun and games with the family!

Kids had fun but the arcade is a little run down. I think 7 games were out of order. Staff was wonderful though very friendly

It wasn't a bad place. It's probably really good for young kids. It does have a lot of features. We had a good time

Ac was cold, games and arcade was fun, laser tag was a blast. Go karts with the family and bumper cars were also alot of fun.

My grandson was visiting from California, saw the Tree Top Challenge and had to give it a try. He was tall enough to go on but too short to maneuver the lead lines so his mom had to go on with him. That tacked on more money plus another 30 in line for her ticket.

This is a very nice putt putt golf facility. It is a bit pricey at $12 per person for 18 holes. It is generally well kept and the landscaping is fantastic. It would be helpful if they had staff check the course frequently for debris, there was quite a bit on many holes when we played.

It was a great place to play mini golf.

Got a combo deal for the go-karts and bumper boats. The kids (ages 5-15) enjoyed it. I guess everybody was at the beach because it wasn't crowded at all for a Saturday!!

We had a great time here - tons to do! Friendly staff, great games, and well priced. Definitely recommend! ??

We had a great time with our family today. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and enough tickets for a few prizes for our grandson.

This place is the perfect place for kids and adults. I think we had more fun than the kids. I loved it. We will definitely be back.

A kids dream, all the bright flashing lights grab their attention but there's so many games crammed in together, you are basically hitting elbows with the person playing the game next to you. The staff at the counter was helpful but other than that, I did not feel like it was worth the money spent. My 2 yr old & 13 yr old loved it of course. There's a toddler area that's so narrow that when someone is helping their child play a game, you can barely get by. The toddler games last about 30 seconds to a minute

The mini-golf looked cool and multi-dimensional from the street, but the actual holes were very basic and short.

Pricey but kids had fun with mini golf and the arcade!

Great fun zone to take the kids (or for an exciting date night) with a large indoor arcade, 2 dino themed mini golf courses that are well decorated and fun, go carts!, and the Tree Top Challenge, which my tweens loved to conquer. We enjoyed the ice cream shop, where the employees were super friendly to my excited preschoolers. Update: this year my 5 year old is scared to death of the dinosaur course, but was okay back in kiddie land. Still a loved course by my oldest kids, 14 and 12, as it offers a co

Awesome place for kids of all ages my toddlers even loved the arcade had a blast would love to go back if time allowed

Me and my husband had the best time of our life. It's always fun to be a kid again. The price was reasonable.

Wild Willy's has a lot to offer. On our stay, we went karting first, which was really fun. There are multiple tracks for you to race on if you want. The 4D movie makes you feel right there, and the two mini golf courses (dinosaur and pirate) do not disappoint. There are mist machines to cool you down. The treetop obstacle course gets high, so that was great. The Lazer tag arena was fun to play in. For the arcade, there is a variety of games from shooters to claw machines, ball throwers and more! We had been

Great vacation putt putt outing. Course was in great shape and they keep their property clean and well lit at night. A few holes had some standing water after rain without anywhere for the water to drain but most have openings in the rock for water to drain without letting your ball roll off the hole. Great atmosphere with all of the dinosaurs and mist sprayers hidden everywhere. Didn't use the arcade but looked updated and fun as we walked through the indoor area with two boys begging to play games at 10pm

The golf course was beautiful, however the 4D movie was only 5 minutes and was not worse the cost.

While we had fun and the course was challenging, the animatronics weren't working and the par on the signs were different from the Par on the score cards. We got the hole in one on the last hole and the 4D movie we saw was really fun.

Very well done putt putt course. We have played putt putt all over the country and this is one of the best courses for both course design and theme. Arcade games where typical nothing special. The staff, however, was exceptional! They were super friendly. The little kids in our group were a couple tickets shy of the prize they wanted and he rounded up for us. 10/10 experience!

Great atmosphere. Great putt putt courses. Not often do you see animatronics in the number of that's here. Loved the extra little touches like the Pirates making golfing jokes and underwater dinos. A few things weren't quite working exactly right but still you can see the passion behind these courses. Very clean, plenty of water misters to keep cool on a summer day. I've been to a lot of different putting courses throughout the nation and this is pretty close to something you'd see at Universal!

Arcade, mini golf, and laser tag were good. Main draw was the outdoor ropes course. Been closed 6 months for repairs, expected to be closed another 6 months. And go carts were not running either.

Inside set up like any gaming / pizza combo place across America except there's no food. The games are cool and worked tho. Laser tag was closed . Prices kinda steep for simple activities . I visited on 8/6/21. The inside staff could use more training but the two young dudes working the tree top climb were awesome . Game outside called falling rocks took my money and another guys next to me. Inside worker said they can only give me gaming credit . I was leaving so I asked for a Gatorade instead of the card

Spent a few hours here while it rained and we couldn't enjoy the beach. Typical arcade (the other options were closed bc of rain)

Every time we go to destin, we hit up Wild Willy's Adventure zone. The best miniature golf course in Northern florida. Highly recommend

Great time! We did the tree top climb, go karts, and arcade. It was competitively priced and the staff was helpful. We had a great time!

Our party of 7 really enjoyed Wild Willy's! We played putt putt golf, & played in the arcade! Although it was hot outside they did have fans and misters to help with the heat! Inside was nice and cool ?? fun place to stop especially for the kiddos! If you go in the ice cream spot stick to the scooped ice cream!

Decent sized arcade, super fun putt putt, the electric go karts were fast enough.

Could be cleaner but almost all games were in working order and got fast service at the ticket counter. We will be back.

Not worth it for the price. Go karts are slow. Arcade wasnt good either. Do not do the 4D either, it was dime and not worth it.

We took our Preschool class here and they had a BLAST . They played in the Arcade and had lunch the portions was a good size. Thanks to the Awesome staff and DeMarco White for taking great care of us. We will be back.

Great spot on a rainy day. Guy working was super helpful and even let us start little early cuz we showed up a little early. Easy to use cards. Lots of fun options and little kid friendly space

My kids and I had a blast and the staff was very nice!

The best one in the area. The owner was super nice. We had a malfunction with one game and they quickly fixed it and gave use extra credits!!

The crew was awesome and so helpful with my son's birthday party! They took away the stressful part of partying and we had a blast. Shout out to the manager for being so attentive!

Great for a rainy morning! I thought it was going to be over-priced tourist trap...but what are you going to do on a rainy half-day with a small child? It was actually pretty cool and not badly priced at all. Enjoyed the 4D Dinosaur movie and the staff was very kind. My son (a budding paleontologist) loved the dinosaur theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
