WhirlyBall is amazing!!! This was pretty much everyone's first time. Everyone absolutely loved it. Takes a minute to get used to the driving, but it's easy. Going to be planning an office party here soon. Laser tag here was pretty good too!
Incredible experience for corporate events, church groups, birthday parties, and family fun. There's something for every one. My kids are obsessed with whirly bowl and laser tag. Whirlyball is a unique experience that cannot be had anywhere else in the metroplex. The prices for laser tag are cheaper than anywhere else in Tarrant County, trust me I've looked. They offer great food and snacks, slushy, and even adult beverages for the parents.
Our group had the absolute best time! The staff were super accommodating and so friendly! We had a large group and they were patient with us and the concessions were fully stocked. It truly was fun for the little kids and older adults. The courts and carts were in great shape. The laser tag was also so fun and such a cool atmosphere. All the arcade games worked and was a great way to pass the time in between games. Highly recommend
Nice and clean on the outside, but run down and dirty on the inside. Broken rackets, carts are old, dirty and beat up.The restrooms were absolutely filthy and looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Just gross. The kids had fun, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Too many other things to do in well kept, clean facilities.
My company had an all day event here this week. The staff accommodated to outside regular hours for us, they made sure we had everything we needed. Bill and Sue were so sweet. We will definitely be back!
Crazy experience with teenagers who can not drive. It is a competitors playground from young to old you have a great experience. The equipment is not the best which is the lower star. But the staff is friendly informative and lets you play a few minutes past your time! Laser tag is efficient and multilevel. The only bad thing is the limited distance of the guns range make it difficult to carry over time. But we had a 5 yea-old who played laser tag and loved it. But the arcade could be updated and some of th
Whirlyball is one of the most surprisingly fun group activities I've ever done. It's simple enough that anyone can play, but different enough to level the playing field. A must activity for any church, business, and social gatherings. And Bill & Sue are the sweetest folks to work with! Don't miss this!??
I only did WhirlyBall. The cars are bit old but not in too bad of shape. A lot of the rackets were broken and they're cheap plastic so they really should replace those as i wouldn't cost them much. Other than that it was a lot of fun!
Truly one of the best venues for team events. Whirlyball Hurst planned every detail with me flawlessly. Every member of our team raved about how much fun they had tonight.
The owner was so nice and sweet! We just had my son?s graduation/birthday party! This was our first time here and we truly enjoyed every moment. Our host was nice as well (his 2nd week there, and we couldn't even tell) he helped us out with Whirlyball lol because we had no clue. The owner even gave us free drinks for the road ?? Thank you all ??
This place is so much fun! We had our company outing here and it was a blast! Bring your own racquet though as the ones provided are beat up. Would give it 5 stars if the cars where all working properly. It's hit or miss if you get a working cart or not.
Highly recommend Whirly Ball for your next business event or fundraiser event. It's fun to play!! Great meeting spaces too.
The place is a bit beat up but the game is Hella fun!
This was pretty fun with reasonable price. We had a great time !!!
They took my money and they're not giving it back. On October 7th I called Whirlyball Plano (see pictured phone record, see screen capture of Whirlyball Plano's Google listing) at the listed phone number to book a reservation. When I call this phone number, I am told by an automated voice that I'm calling Whirlyball Plano. I speak with a representative and we verbally agree to a date. I was sent a contract, which I have also attached, that contains no mention of a Hurst location. I show up on the day of
Tons of fun! Wish the karts were equally fast, but you can always switch it up if you get a slow one one round.
We love Whirlyball. Crazy bizarre but really fun sport/activity. Really fun place. Both kids and adults love it.
Good whirly ball experience along with few arcade games
This was the most fun we've had in a good while. We rode around in little cars with these plastic catchers to grab a ball and toss it at a back board. Two teams like basketball. There was a time we had to score the most points, and it was so cute. You were able to accidently bump each other (quite competitive) to get that ball. It was easy though. No sweat. It's great for party's. Also, there was an arcade, snack bar, oh and last tag. These cost extra. Overall we would go again just for fun.
One of the best places to go with competitive friends in the DFW. The cars worked much better for us here then the Plano location. Have had a great experience multiple times and each time I've brought new people that have all loved it.
Whirly ball is a great place to have a fun family oriented event or just to hang out!! Bill and sue are great event host!!
To start off the staff is great, very nice and is doing everything they can to help. Now for the bad the place is rundown, the bumper carts that u drive in barley works and is really old. your not going as fast as any other whirly ball place. 3 carts didn't work and kept stopping . Also when our carts broke down it took time off our 1 hour and we only got 40 minutes of playing time. No need to spend 200 dollars on this go somewhere more fun
Was invited by co-workers and had a lot of fun on the bumper carts playing WhirlyBall. Never heard of it but it's like lacrosse (with a short handle) on bumper carts. The cart speeds varied from very fast to struggling, but that threw in an element of handicap for those who knew how to play well. Not the fanciest place but great experience all the same. Coming back again with my actual group of friends.
The Plano location lost our reservation and this location messed up our reservation time. The team lacks communication altogether. We had a youth event scheduled for 1 hour total. It was to include both courts and laser tag. We show up and they inform us that there are only 4 laser tag sets working and we had 40 people. Needless to say it was a very big disappointment that we still paid for. They gave the kids game tokens to play the arcade but a lot of the machines were broken and it wasn't a valued replac
Kids birthday party. They loved it! And reasonably priced, considering todays prices for birthday parties. WhirlyBall looked complicated, but fun. And they had a good laser tag course.
The laser tag birthday party package is awesome! My 6-year old and all his little friends had a blast. The package comes with everything you need except for the cake. The staff was great and the party room was the perfect size. A number of the parents commented about what a great birthday party it was (and I didn't do any extra work besides the cakes and goodie bags). I would do this again in a heartbeat! The only thing I would do different is to add-on the extra tokens.
Super fun place. I've been coming to this location for Whirly Ball for over 7 years with the most recent time being March 2019. It is a great experience, it's fun and competitive and is a great idea for team building or parties. There are the whirly ball courts and then there's also a huge 2-level laser tag room which is just about as cool as the place itself! There's arcade games, a snack bar..something for everyone. For the first time ever in March our go carts seemed to have a few issues but it was. Most
Had great time here and fun for all ages... Go check it out ????
The place was a complete blast. I've never heard of Whirlyball before, but my youth students insisted on going. I'm glad we did. The prices were great and the games were fun. The 2 downsides are the old school arcade games that cost too much in my opinion and the facility was a little run down. Other than that, the staff was great and size/location was perfect for us. We will be back!
I had a blast playing whirlyball for the first time. They did a great job explaining the rules, and refereeing the games. The location is easy to find and the staff were friendly. The rackets are a little worn out but that's to be expected with such a high contact activity. Will definitely be back to play again.
Worst place ever. Management double booked us two years in a row for our group. We had a. Contract both times . They gave our court to someone else and would not honor the contract. Our group of 30 had to try to find something else to do. They would not tell the other group they had to leave. NEVER COMING BACK.
Great venue! Great hosts! Whirly Ball provides a great experience for team building, fund raising, or just plain fun!
I went here at a company outing. The staff at the bar were very nice and friendly. The building itself is a normal arcade with two Whirlyball courts. One thing of note is that the bathrooms were very clean, which was awesome to see and not always the norm at arcade-like places.
Lots of fun, and fairly organized. Party room was not clean though. Floor was really bad. For parties they need to have a cleaning crew, with a hot mop, to spend 10 minutes in there between the fun.
Two visits to this location (only one I've tried) - Both times were a boatload of fun, really memorable! Only tried WhirlyBall, no laser tag or arcade games. My only reason not to give 5 stars: Yesterday we lost about 15 to 20 minutes of playing time due to swapping carts and making repairs, and they could only give 10 minutes back due to another group being booked after ours. The bumper cars take a beating and aren't new; I'm sure it's tough to keep 'em all running top notch.
What a great place!!! Such fun especially for a team party and the like! Owners and staff are outstanding!
A unique time with a few flaws. Dead zones on the floor left many of us stranded until we got out of our cars or waited for a friend to slam into us. The game itself is a great time, and is sure to be a hit if you make sure you don't take it too seriously.
This place is amazing for parties, and I had a complete blast while playing here! However, i would rate this at about a 2-1/2 because the seatbelts are horrible and injure your waist. I went with a group of 20 people this weekend, and all of us have huge bruises at the top of our pelvis bones.
Maybe not the most ideal area, and the inside was a little rough, the experience was awesome. The carts were in good condition and the staff was really helpful. We played a 3v3 match of whirlyball and had a blast. I would recommend a little pre-medication of some Advil for those inexperienced to plan for the aftermath though. Will definitely be returning.
It is so much fun for everyone!!!! It is particularly fun if teens and young adults, but children, as well as older adults can find fun, too. For those not wanting to play whirly ball, they have arcade games to play also.
It's fun. There were some dead spots in the court we played. Not every cart was up to par, but I would still recommend it for a fun time. Watch out, the soles of your shoes will get dirty.
Fun time, I will say it was pretty hot inside I'm not sure if the AC is out or working but other than that it was allot of fun...they serve adult beverages and it's pretty laid back
Have played whirly ball before with my hockey team when I was about 8 or 9 so when my buddy said he was gonna have alil party there recently I was all up for it. Some good beers n good fun, some of the cars are a bit slower than others and might need some updating but other than that still a blast and great staff
Fun game. I've never played before is a combination of bumper cars, lacrosse, and basketball. Take a group of 8-10 as games full of people are more fun than trying to play with only a couple of friends.
This place was quite fun. Went here for a company team building event. Beer selection is ok, and the sport itself is really a blast! The facility leaves a lot to be desired. Very bland inside; white and grey. Price seemed reasonable all things considered. I only wish the games were longer.
Henry has fantastic customer service and was very accommodating to our growing group of young girls and making sure that they had a great laser tag experience and a fun birthday party. Thank you WhirlyBall LaserWhirld and specifically Henry for a great time and we will definitely do future laser tag outing here vs the other local venues that are not near as fun.
Great place for some team activity! It's funny how competitive games get. Lots of fun and beers were $4!
Fun activities, mediocre service, average price Whirleyball is a fun activity for kids ten and up, a hilarious and engaging cross between lacrosse and basketball and bumper cars. My children, including those under ten, love the laser tag. The arcade is plagued by games that don't work. Food is average, prices rival those of Main Event but you have to bring in pizza and cake for parties. Service is mediocre because they keep staff to a minimum. Expect to set up and clean up after events yourself. We've had t
First timer, the game was enjoyable but the cars are all different speeds and some racquets were broken detracting from the experience. I would consider going elsewhere in hopes the equipment is better maintained.
Came here a couple of days ago, and let me tell you!!!!! We had a blast I've gone to their Plano location and was referred to their location on hurst! Went with friends and had sooooo much fun!!!! I can't tell you how lucky I am to have one of these places nearby! Awesome place to just kick it with friends and have some good beer!!!
A MUST for any and everyone that has not enjoyed the wonderful hour of fun WhirlyBall can be. Age 8 to young at heart, a definite good idea for a party of 10 or more! Worth every penny!
So it's fun and everything. Not completely unhappy but my largest complaint is some of the cars are junk. Some are slower than others which makes it unfair/not very fun if you got a slow one. I got a vehicle where the top half was literally detaching. I could live with this like ?okay it's a small business with not a ton of resources, meh? but the worst part was when we had malfunctions they paused the games to fix it (okay with that), but then that time was effectively deducted from the hour we paid for. N
Sping Break Saved! I had failed to make a reservation at a different highly acclaimed event for my middle schooler. And came across this place while searching for laser tag. I then recalled the fond memories my coworkers had recounted years ago about Whirlyball. We were able to get a half hour slot and play laser tag. The pricing was very reasonable for the 5 of us. It was adults vs. kids (3 on 2) and of course the adults won Whirlyball and the kids won laser tag. The down sides were 1)the dead spots on th
So much fun!!!!! I would definitely recommend this place as a great outing for families with older children. I had a great time with my coworkers! Give it try...it is truly super fun!
Games are alright, the laser tag is a bit small for more than about five people, and you have to have a relatively large party to really enjoy the whirlyball.
Lots of fun, but filthy! Definitely needs cleaned in there. Also, the group we were with played laser tag and there was a bucket full of nails in that dark room. Several of us ran into it.
Grandson and his friends had a fun time doing whirlyball, laser tag and video games. The management and staff are great to work with and very helpful. This is a place that the adults enjoyed playing, as well.
My husband and I came back in October 2017 for my birthday with a group of friends and had 6 cars break on us. We ended up losing 1/2 of our playing time due to their poor maintenance. We decided to try to come back for my brother's birthday and again we had several cars break down. This time it was only 3 cars, but still too many because it counts towards your play time. Very disappointed that they do not keep up the maintenance of their cars.
Avoid this place until they fix their equipment. We spent $160 on an hour where several players cars were either painfully slow or didn't move at all. The body of the car my husband was driving was completely unattached to the frame and several of the bumpers on these cars are falling off so the impacts are more metal to metal and can really hurt on impact. Also the handles on many of the cars are without grips which make them harder to drive and painful on the hand to steer. Their bumper cars are hazardous
We did a team building experience at Whirlyball recently & it was fun! There is nothing like heading full steam over & over (&over & over) at your boss & ramming them for no reason other than...You can! I will say I paid for this for at least 2 weeks afterwards with chiropractor visits & a massage. I still won in the long run. We had great fun, lots of team building & I got to run into my boss with a bumper car as hard as I could! Win/win/win! The equipment is a little run down but it didn't seem to effect
The game itself is excellent. Few of the rackets could be replaced. Company function attended and for only being there an hour, we talked about it all week. Definitely worth recording your game.
Really fun game, however it would be better if establishment was not so dirty, definitely needs a cleaning and upgrades
I love whirly ball however the last party we booked wasn't very pleasant. The guy we had leading our group talked in between every game about his own personal issues. I'm all about being friendly, however it was eating into our time that we had booked. Had a bit of a vulgar vocabulary as well.
Pretty fun place. We love the laser tag the most
It's was pretty fun for the most part but please guys for the love of God upgrade some stuff, the arcade games barely worked, some of the bumper cars were just not working, you literally had to watch the previous games of other people to see what car was good.
First time going here with a group, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The game is challenging but easy enough for 5th graders to play. Lots of laughs and competition!
This place has great customer service, and the staff makes sure to accommodate you. The location is very inconspicuous. I would not have know they were there if my friends has not mentioned it. We have gone to the pool hall several times and never noticed this building.
We went here for our team outing. We had a blast. Hard to describe but if lacrosse, basketball, and go carts had a baby this is what it would look like. We want to come back.
I was looking for a place to take my son and his friend today. I was looking for fun arcade style place that I could safely drop off two 12 year olds for couple hours to hang out. I read the reviews and came across Nathan Ragland and Damion Jones. After reading what they had to say, as a 43 year old white woman, I am completely appalled that in 2017 we are still placing identity based on skin color? "the big group of black people"..I mean seriously? would anyone ever say "that big group of white folks over
It's a lot of fun. Sort of like basketball/lacrosse if you only had partial control of your lower body.
Fun and a different experience. Definitely takes skill navigating bumper cars and hand eye coordination. Some of cars are a little worn out though. Overall fun time though.
I would not recommend anyone of color to visit this place. I can't believe the white cashier told one of the other white employee to go help the BIG GROUP OF BLACK PEOPLE. Not the people on court 2 but the BIG GROUP OF BLACK PEOPLE. How to spoil an evening of fun. Its sad to know that people are still full of hatred. God Bless them all. Feeling disrespected??Jesus Jesus Jesus.
Omg I luv it hear!!!! Joyfulscreams, competitive Heat, and Bruises. You are in for a treat!!! ??????
Fun Place with a few other games. The cars need service, one of ours caught fire, maybe new coat of paint & good cleaning. Would do it again.
I was given tickets here for free, so I don't know about value, but Whirlyball was fun and kind of violent, and laser tag was the usual cheap suits and good family fun. The workers were lax if no-one gets hurt.
This is a very cool place and awesome game. The staff was very nice and helpful. The place could use and update and they could add more video games but other than that it was fun
This is a fun place to go! Whirlyball and Laser Tag are fun fun fun! Lots of beer choices, video games, etc. I have it only 4 stars but if they had pinball, I'd give 5.
Really fun, great prices, great crowd. $10 for 2 hours of whirlyball, pls they have laser tag, arcade, & a decent concession selection.
Fun for teens and adults alike. This venue is older and could use some updating but our youth group had a blast!
Very fun game and definitely worth going with a few friends. Wished they had fewer dead spots and a working scoreboard when I went.
I am so sick of their online radio spots... same one for over a year and half at least, and I get to hear 15+ times a day. Whomever is in charge of their marketing lacks writing skills and motivation (obviously). Most companies change up online spots every 20-40 days.. I can only guess that the onsite experience is also stale.
Really fun place to take a group. We've been several time when the games and laser tag weren't working.
Had a lot of fun. The only major downside was some of the bumper cars would cut off every now and then, but wiggling it vigorously would get it going. So good workout.
This place is a lot of fun. Great for corporate outings and team building events. There are also a few arcades.
Had a blast, Daniel was a great host and referee!!!
I had never heard oh whirly ball before and we went here for a work event. We had so much fun! Definitely will be doing this again!
It was an awesome experience. Laser tag was fun. Its great only when u are in a group of atleast eight to ten.
Very bad place to go. For whirlyball half of the cars are not working. And we have also played Lasertag and the scoring is not also proper. They didn't count all the playes score. Very bas place to go. Try another place
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
