Me and my family have been to many claw arcades and this one is the best one. They have the best prizes.l, best trade ins, it's super clean, and the staff is so amazing. It's the best family fun or cute lil date night place. You always win something and the workers are so kind and helpful. They go above and beyond. We have recently had my son?s birthday party there and it was one of the best birthday celebrations ever. The kids had fun, adults had fun, and set up and clean up was so easy.
This is a new location and they are currently doing a soft launch and handing out flyers for two free tokens. Their newest location apart from this one is 21557 S. Western Ave. unit C Torrance, CA 90501. The Artesia Wawa Claw is located right next to The Pan at 1425 Artesia Blvd Suite 23, in the Gateway Plaza in the city of Gardena 90248. Just a FYI you won't find them if you google it because they haven't officially opened. They have claw machines with large variety of toys. They have the option of purcha
Had some free time while I was in the area so decided to check this place out. The overall look and feel of the shop is pretty nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. The machines are the traditional pulley system type with 3 metal prongs, not the ones like you'd see at places like Round 1 with the piles that extend down and tongs. The plushies are cute and definitely very appealing to kids. Exchange rate is 1 token for $1 with extra tokens given the higher denomination you exchange. Games are all 1
The staff was super friendly and inviting, all claw machines are only one token per play. I went with my mother and boyfriend and tried it out for the first time and thought the pricing was really good the girl working there was super helpful and made my family?s day (definitely deserves a raise) such a fun time and we ended up winning a good amount of prizes. Super family friendly great experience for anyone.
Stopped by this little arcade claw machine spot on a whim, and honestly, it was way more fun than I expected. The place is packed wall-to-wall with all kinds of machines ? from plush toys to mini electronics and mystery prize boxes. The lights were bright, the music was upbeat, and it had that nostalgic old-school arcade vibe.
My kid loves this place, she had a blast and always begs to come back! There's a good amount of machines, especially the smaller machines, which have lots of cute stuffies. The bigger stuffies are harder and most of them aren't as cute as the small ones. The lady there helped give tips and even repositioned some stuffies if we wanted! We won a decent amount but I did have to put in $40. Recommend do not eat in the plaza because the kid will beg to go back after!
This was our first time coming here after wanting to go for a while. Our kids had a blast running to every machine, trying to grab a plushie in every one. The staff on shift was Aly and she was welcoming, helpful, and so sweet to our kids. We'll definitely be coming back.
Awesome experience and exceptional customer service by Nancy! Thanks for making my boys feel so special!
First time attending Wawa claw. Typically tend to go to The Clawcade but this will definitely be the go-to place moving forward. My only suggestion would be that the small claw machines be 2 plays for 1 credit like the other place. Working staff was also very friendly! Overall left the place feeling very happy with my McDonald?s worker Melody & fluffy hello kitty.
Great place for kids to hang out, my daughter and her bestie went there together and had lots of fun. The Wawa was not hard to get, my 3 year old even got wawa by herself Lol. The stuff was really nice too, highly considering to have kid?s birthday party here
It was my first time at Wawa Claw today and I didn't enjoy it. I came in happy and came out mad, It's not fair how you are able to catch a plushie but when the claw hits the top of the roof and your plushie flies everywhere, THEY NEED TO FIX THERE CLAWS ITS RIGGED.
It was so fun and cute! When I went there was one worker and we were the only people. The toys are fun but the larger claw machines are hard and slightly weak we had to go for lighter stuff in order to win. Good prizes and nice workers
This place is so much fun! Jojo was so friendly and helped us out for the best experience. Will come back at night for more good vibes. Going home with some pandas for the kiddos.
It was fun, other customers give my kids stuff toys also. We had a great time ????
Cute idea. Left feeling meh. Played the same machine 10 times in a row after reading it's supposed to be 1/8 odds. Every time I picked up a plush... it got to the edge to win and the claw would drop. For the money I spent I could have loaded up at the store or Daiso... No wins off $40 in coins.... not gonna come back.
This is a fun place for kids, my kids are 6 and 8 and had a blast playing/winning prizes. Shout out to Irene who made my daughter?s day!
Cute and fun new place! We enjoyed it so much especially Jojo?s fun and friendly personality. She also showed excitement at our plush wins which makes this place much more enjoyable and welcoming. My two year old enjoyed playing and his new plushies. We will definitely be returning! ???
We visited Wawa Claw in Torrance this past weekend with our two daughters, and it was an unforgettable experience. We had such a good time that I offered to write them a review, which I normally resist. The excitement in their eyes as they navigated the claw machines was priceless. The moment they won, their joyous screams filled the place?it was pure joy to see their excitement. The variety of games and the vibrant, fun-filled environment kept them engaged for 2 full hours. The staff was incredibly attenti
It was so fun! Would definitely come back to get more plushies :3
Fun date night activity and really great location. After eating at one of the restaurants nearby we came over to Wawa claw and had so much fun trying the different machines and went home with some cute stuffed animals. Really fun that you actually win something! Great date night spot for your next night out.
Excellent place for kids and to have a kids party. Both adults and kids had such a blast! We'll definitely be back!
At first I was super excited when I found this place. But as I started to play , my excitement declined. Every single time I used one of the claw machines it would actually grab a plush but as the claw return to its place it opens a bit causing every single plush to drop again. I was very disappointed. Also the attendant was basically back and fort by us (it was only my husband, daughter and me in the store) which was a bit uncomfortable. I did let the attendant know about my disappointment, also telling
It's a cute concept of getting plushies from the claw machines and exchanging them for bigger plushies. But what irked me was that all the plushies are bootlegs, even the ones you can exchange for. There's no tags, the character designs are off, even the butt tag just basically says "Made in China". I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it's a nice business idea. But using bootlegs as prizes isn't cool.
It's fun to stop by after visiting one of the restaurants in the shopping center. Even though I might not win often, it still gives me that Japanese experience and provides a great way to unwind with a bit of light-hearted entertainment.
Pretty easy to win, very friendly environment and staff were great .
My kids had a lot of fun and they won a lot of prizes
The staff was very friendly here and we were able to get about six dollars from the games. We had a great time and would definitely come again.
WAWA has super cutee prizes and an amazing vibe!!! Must check it out
Irene was such a doll helping us figure out everything! You can exchange your wins for a bigger prize on the wall! Can't wait to go back!
I won 3 out of 50. Pretty pricy with 1 dollar per play but they do offer some deals when you buy more at once.
Great aesthetics and amazing vibe at this claw machine place !! 100% recommend
There are many claw machines in the store, from hello kitty to doraemon. Easy to play. Staff are super friendly.
This place is too addictive to just spend a couple of minutes here. Especially if you have a lunch reservation at a nearby restaurant waiting for you.
place is very clean and plushies are extremely cute! only one dollar per play
This place has a wonderful selection of plushies and the vibes are nice! The facility is very clean.
really fun and alot of spongebob
This place is fun and awesome!
Very cool place , my 3 year old son had a blast!
Irene was so nice! Lot's of cute plushies
Nancy was soo helpful and friendly ?? Will definitely be back here. Such a neat place!!
The staff is friendly, highly recommend this place
Our kids love it !! Nice place for our little ones.
So worth the price!! Make sure you get frostbites before!
What a super fun place for a party! 10/10
We absolutely love coming here! We've made friends with some of the staff members and every single one of them is so friendly and helpful! My daughter is very shy but she will interact with the team here! They even host parties here!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
