Went here last weekend and it was great. Had no problems. But I came in today, 6/4/25, and the guys behind the bar seemed stand-offish and rude. The buttons on my wheel wouldn't work, and I couldn't change into manual mode.
Such a fun rainy (or heck, sunny!) day activity. The employees are so laid back yet helpful! They walk you through everything start to finish to make sure you have a fun and safe time. Definitely suggest a drink, or two, before loading up the zombie game but so worth the adrenaline rush!! My fiance and I will be back!
Very neat place! Low key vibe, loads of fun, very helpful staff. My gf and I loved it. The sim racing is worth every penny if you're a gamer or racing enthusiast. We will be back to try out the VR too.
My family and I were visiting from out of town. I'm not sure if the bartenders were jerks or racist jerks. We walked in and we stared at as if we had two heads no one behind the bar said anything. I asked about the program one of the bartenders walked away and the other acted like he didn't want to speak. This was Saturday afternoon very disappointing and embarrassing as my family was with me if they don't want my money that is just fine.
Super fun and very friendly staff!
I take friends here, family here, and it has always been great. if I have someone coming in from out of town, I will take them here Great staff, great games. Everyone always loves it.
If you're looking for a great place to unwind and relax with friends or family, Servus VR Bar in South Carolina is definitely worth checking out! From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. One of the standout features of Servus VR Bar is the staff, who are incredibly friendly and always happy to help you navigate the various VR experiences on offer. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or a complete newbie, they'll take the
Great fun! Would definitely recommend as a group event , lots of laughs to be expected!
Best beer spot in Greenville, cheaper than anywhere else and a great selection. League night on Wednesday is also a killer deal and loads of fun.
This place could be a 5/5 but I was a little annoyed that the guy there ignored me for 10mins. We were there right when he opened and we were the 2nd group there. He went around and greeted everyone and asked them for their activities they were there for except us. Even people who came in after us got customer service from him. There were only 4 groups there including us which was less than 10-12 people total. I had to approach him and even get his attention. Besides the poor initial service, this place i
My husband, our friend, and I visited during our vacation. Very clear facility, nice staff, and good options at the bar. My husband and our friend did the VR room, and the 3 of us also did a VR escape room in the escape room area. Everything was clearly explained to us and easy to understand. I liked how the staff wiped down the equipment right before we used it.
I went here after dinner and had a really fun time! I loved the Archer game where I got to shoot goblins and orcs! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is definitely something I will be coming back to do again and again!
I went to this place not knowing much and one of the workers Patrick, great guy, helped me and explained a lot and made the whole experience so smooth and so much fun! I recommend going there with a group of friends, or on a date!
The owner and staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about what to expect and experience before hand. This has to be the most fun activity to do in Greenville that's indoors. Me and some friends got race in VR Indy cars and shoot up some nasty zombies. The graphics and action was very smooth, which is a very hard thing to accomplish in the VR industry. I actually got my heart rate up and broke a sweat lol. I will definitely be going back for more and will probably invite a few friends from church as we
Awesome place to come and hangout. Their simulators are really fun and the VR looks neat. Jordan, Austin, Alex^2, andrei, and Patrick are all absolute legends when it comes to bartending. Definitely worth the trip.
Wonderful selection of beer, both domestic and imported especially Unique and German based beers. The staff were very inviting and caring. I enjoyed the racing the most which i was invited by my co-workers and now we do it every week! Highly recommend for events and a great place to hang out.
Booked a vr escape room, got there and was told that they had a party in the escape room 24 hours?! Should have gotten an email after I booked or at least before the time so I could've saved a trip. Was told we could do a vr game and racing to make up for the vr escape that we couldn't do after paying for it or either a refund. We were already there so we said let's try the vr game. It was going pretty good for about 10-15 mins then the system went down, so after waiting about 5-10 minutes for them to get i
Had a great time, me and 2 of my friends did the racing sim and the tower zombie killing game in the big room. Definitely will go back again and the staff was very kind.
Bartenders weren't very inviting, they were actually pretty rude
The most fun and best experience I've had in a long time! I decided to take my boyfriend here for his 29th birthday and we had a ball. The owner Stephan was super kind and happy to talk to us about what to do and try with the games. The experience is amazing and worth the money! While some games max out at 4 people others have room for 10+ people. I will be back and hopefully you choose here for your special occasion or just day to day because it's worth it! They also have a nice bar and atmosphere, however
My girlfriend and I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and we couldn't believe how much fun we had. The main bar area is great to hang out and the drink prices are fair, but the highlight is the VR experiences and games. The only bar I know of where you can have a drink, feel like you're in another city shooting zombies, and play Mario kart all in the same place. 100% will be going back
WantecVR is the best place in America, this place is where I met my beautiful and absolutely talented husband Noah Hicks. He is an incredible sim racer and should win every single race there is but he has to be nerfed for being too good. I love Noah hicks
Arrived and was quickly shown the controls, it was a first a time experience for me and my fiance, her equipment worked and she had an absolute blast! Mine worked for the first 5 minutes and then just stopped working so it needed to be calibrated every so often. I spent more time trying to get the equipment fixed rather than playing. I wasn't offered any sort of compensation, which is fine I totally get equipment acts up . But if I'm paying for a service I expect it to be up to standards. Definitely try it!
I had no idea Greenville had a place like this, so cool. Went to check out the Racing games. Staff was helpful, informative and ready to get me racing. Racing SIMs have force feedback steering, a single monitor, great sound but unfortunately are not full motion machines.
10/10, the atmosphere was aazing, loved the vibes. 45 minutes of sim racing was $25 which is honestly the cheapest ive ever found it. The staff was super enthusiastic and helpful and the owner was so nice! If you are thinking about visiting this place... DO IT!
Great staff and great atmosphere! Had my sons birthday party here and had a blast! My kids would live here if they could.
All of the staff were so cool and helpful. Myself and 13 other co workers came here to have a going away party for someone who was moving. We had the best time. Highly recommend staff parties or going with a big group. The racing simulators are really fun and my coworkers did the VR zombie hunt and said it was one of the coolest things they've done in greenville. They've got a great beer selection too. 10/10 highly recommend.
Went here a couple months ago & we had a great time. The VR game was something I have never tried but they were really good at explaining everything.
This place was awesome! We had so much enjoyment for our Father's day outing. The escape room and Anvio were a blast. Also tons of cool driving simulators that my son loved! The staff was amazing, Elias was very insightful,, and helpful.. We will be back, again and again!
One of the best video game bars I've been to, the VR Zombies and Racing Simulators are absolutely worth the prices. The owner was incredibly nice, offering to let us test out a track before paying and even giving us recommendations. I fully plan on coming back for more!
Stopped by here last night after dinner. Alex was so inviting and helpful! Something fun to do that wasn't too pricey and we had a really good time! Small bar that serves beer and wine as well. We will definitely be back soon!
We just left from doing an VR Escape room- it was a family outing with our 12 yr old son. The staff was very nice, and the game was fun- but the equipment was a big problem!!! One person was setting up our group and another group, so each time I had to take my headset off and go find someone to help. Not fun at all?and th equipment I was using broke 5 times within our game, and my husbands broke twice.your game is 45-60 mins long- so not cool. You can't actually do the game if the equipment doesn't work, I
Me and my meaningless son who's going no where in life came here recently. After about 30 minutes of the sims he looked me straight in the eyes and said ?Dad I've realized my faults and how I am a disappointment to you and your many accolades. I have weakened my knowledge by goofing off and not ever trying for anything. I wish to change this and go to school again. I love you and hope you can forgive me? Since then he is now a heart surgeon and makes 1 billion dollars a month. His success has brought me and
Servis VR is AMAZING! My gf took me here for my birthday and the experience was so much fun. We teamed up to play a zombie shooter together. The staff is awesome and the owner Steffon is such a nice guy! Great place for groups or just a fun night out with a friend. They have all sorts of games too. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.
Today we took my son and 11 of his friends here for his 15th birthday! We all had a great time! We reserved the entire Race Room for an hour. Clay made sure all of us, that had never done anything like this had fun and knew the important things. We got to race 4/15 minute races against each other and the guys talked about it all the way back home. Thanks for something creative, fun, and new for teen guys to do!
I arrived and asked a gentleman behind the bar to assist me with starting the race car games. He stated he was off of the clock and would get someone that was outside to help me. I waited for a little under 10 minutes and finally another gentleman came and informed me that the machines were not available (All were on and running) and that they just didn't shut them down but couldn't be used. There were other individuals playing on another set of games without any issues. However, I wasn't even given conside
Great place to get a drink. The games are the best VR experience you can get. If you like racing this is your spot.
Awesome VR bar! Gotta bring back some of the guys from BMW to come play the VR racing games! They hold league races too! Also found the areas where they have complete immersive experiences! Dunno about the food, but the drinks weren't bad and the service was pretty great! Will definitely be back!
Did a VR Alien Shooter with friends it was great!
Cannot speak more highly of this place. My friends and I just happened to see this place after going to a Drive baseball game. The staff is super chill, great beer selection, and AMAZING VR games. We were a group of 5 so we did a couple different games. Would definitely recommend a visit.
This place is AWESOME!! I took my two kids there this past weekend and we had a great time. The staff was very accommodating, we showed up early so we could see what it was all about and they let us play some of the games at no charge, they were very helpful to my kids and I both as far as explaining everything. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL BE BACK
Great place! My wife and I came in and had a blast on the racing simulators, the drinks were cheap too!
I hosted a 'work event' with the VR experience and was SERIOUSLY disappointed! It was literally just a few oculus machines in 1 room that were poorly aligned. My team and I were so sick afterwards that we had to cancel our dinner reservations. This is misrepresented in their advertising on their website so BEWARE of the VR full immersion experience. However, the racing out front is a really fun experience and is really put together. The staff is very friendly and the bar creates a fun atmosphere.
My husband and I did the House of Fear VR escape room, definitely had some jump scares! As avid video game and horror enthusiasts, we were not disappointed. The guys there were more than helpful with fixing my headset which had some sound issues. Suffice to say, we are already planning our next trip back!
Andrei was amazing! I was visiting my best friend for a week and we stopped by. Great service, and a priceless experience. Definitely coming back on my next visit from Florida.
Bartenders need to learn some manners.
We had a great time. Played a VR escape room, needed to get use to the controls. The VR room was great, Kids and adults had fun. They have beer, hard liquor and wine but we drank non alocholic drinks. The VR driving was fun playing against each other. Kids are ready to go back
Great experience! Missing that fifth star only because it took a while to setup, we played a different game than we thought, didn't know how to reload, nor how the scoring worked. But it was AWESOME!! We will definitely be back
This place was a lot of fun! I brought a bachelor party here for some sim racing and we had a fantastic time. Will be back whenever I'm in the area.
First off, the owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the place was very clean. Second, we did the VR option. It's little more than the Oculus 2 sets that we have at home, just in a bigger room. The web site says that it has "full body tracking." It does not. We did the City Z game which had great graphics and was really cool. But the web site says that there are melee weapons, and there are not. Likely not a big deal for most people, but when you're setting your expectations for
Lots of fun, great experience excellent for a fun date! Headsets do get slightly uncomfortable after wearing for a long time so I'd recommend only one VR event at a time! Definitely worth a visit
The racing simulator was freaking amazing and a blast. The zombie and alien VR game was super cool too. Stephan and Patrick really took care of us and we couldn't be more happy with the place. Never experienced VR before and it was a blast.
Great place to fellowship, one does not go to the vr bar without friends bce you will leave with many. If vr bar has no appreciators then I am dead. If only one person in the world appreciates the vr bar that person is me. Very clean
Had an awesome team building event here. Did some sim-racing against my co-workers. If you're up to the challenge, try beating a legend who set the N?rburgring record, and you might win a prize. The guys from the staff were great, we had lots of fun. Thanks for the awesome night.
To the young man that helped us, well done man. We had no idea what we had walked into off the street and you sold us on it. Worth every penny. That escape room was 100 times more fun than the one I did IRL. My girlfriend and I will be back.
Patrick was great, very friendly and welcoming with a warm personality. Games were reasonably priced and very fun. I've told all my friends about here and very highly recommend to try at least once
Nice place. Few equipment issues, but no big issue. No hot drinks. Heavy on racing- which is fun!
This place is super fun to go and do virtual reality racing. I have been here at least nine times. I can't wait to get back for the 10th and many more. I would recommend this for ages 9+ for the racing. Other games may depend on the responsibility of the parent.
Seems like a fun place to go hang out and play video games.
Racing simulator that has resistance in cornering and a rv room for you and friends to play together. Cool place to check out if you have never tried either. They also have a bar there too. The racing sim was fairly priced.
I tried servus vr twice and it's a neat establishment, but it not very at welcoming at all.I paid online for appointment to play, it seems if someone is already there and the time is up they can request to play again inspite of your appointment time, not cool. I don't think it will be a third time.
I loved my experiences here. Always fun, and I have brought MANY friends to this venue. Highly recommend trying this experience.
ServusVR is like Capitalism without Neo-Liberalism. It's a sweet spot. It's a meme, but not a normal meme, a deep fried meme. Servus VR is like the kid who can crush a few millers but still does well in academics. Servus is like McDonald?s sprite. It's sprite but it just hits harder and everyone knows it. sponch.
Such a cool experience that didn't scream "kids" and was cool enough for adults. Very clean and reasonably priced. My husband had a blast!
Place is dope, bartenders are chill and love to talk at whenever given chance. Plus Guitar Hero. 10/10
A great place to play vr, I've had vr for over a year now and this place is a great experience. The games are amazing and it is great with a group, if you love vr, you WILL love this place. And another great thing about wantecVR is that it is one of very few places to play vr and its for new people and veterans of vr, come check it out!
Booked weeks ahead for my son's birthday. Waited 10min after calling ahead to let them know we were on the way. Staff was rude. Equipment did not work and we were given a refund. Very disappointed.
Bartenders are very friendly and helpful. We tried one of the racing games and had a blast!
Have been here several times and this was the worse experience to date. Had to wait 30 minutes because another group was late getting there which put us behind. VR headsets kept cutting off and having to restart several times. Don't think we will be back
Racing simulation is plenty of fun. Very helpful staff, fun environment. Good selection of beverages. Good vibes.
This was my second trip here with me son. The VR games are fun and challenging. We did two games and had drinks in between
Went here tonight and had an awesome time! It was very clean and organized and the owner was friendly. Would definitely check it out again!
This was one of the best VR experiences I had. So much fun! The people were also nice and friendly!
Great fun, prices, and friendly staff. We love to stop by when we are looking for entertainment.
Sorry, this was where I got the longest receipt ever in a bar, lol. But, the bill was fine.
Love this place! Every visit is so much fun. Also love the vast beer selection
Great father and son time!!!
Awesome and every synonym of the word! Patrick was very helpful and the owner was very friendly. Great atmosphere!!!
A great night of fun. Staff are really nice, but the zombies... Not so much. I'll be back!
So much fun and has an awesome bar while you're waiting.
Perfect place to have some good fun The competitions the put from time to time are fantastic
Always a great time when we come and Jordan is top tier.
Awesome service, everyone is super nice. Love this place
I read online that you have to make an appointment. I have called twice a day for the last two days (yes after 1) any business that can't pick up the phone doesn't deserve my money.
Lots of fun needs better ventilation tho was hot in the building otherwise it was so much fun
Very fun vibes. They even had Guitar Hero available to play!!!
Super cool place, amazing staff and fun games! Not to mention GERMAN BEER!
Great game, could have used more direction or assistance with my daughter. Probably not great for kids unless they are a little older.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
