My son and I stopped here. We thought about bowling, but he's a little shy and there were a lot of people there. It's a very nice place! Customer service was awesome (we played some of the arcade games and such before heading to another place). The whole place was clean and well put together. I'd love to go bowling here one day when it's a little less busy, maybe in a month when I'm headed down that way again. There are a lot of bowling lanes, there's a bar, and I saw quite a few pizzas being brought out th
Food was great and the drinks were amazing. Our bartender seemed like she didn't want us there though, made me not want to order more drinks. Otherwise a great place.
Keep going back because food and drinks are good. However tonight was the second time we have been ?burned? with bowling. First time I scheduled a child?s birthday party over a month in advance, called the morning of to see if I could come in 15min early to decorate our table and was told that there were leagues and they may have ONE lane available for a group of 15. We came in and it was very crowded, only table we were offered was one small table by the lanes. Thankfully Bowlwinkles came to the rescue and
Fun way to spend an afternoon with family. We bowled 4 games and even the grandparents bowled. One boy got a new ball at the pro shop but had to figure out how to pay cash or check only as he only had a debit card. His mom came through, but I am sure there would have been an ATM nearby.
I have two hands in braces. Thus is the only non accommodating place. They have a no exception role to bumpers. Completely ruined my night. Will stick to the places that work with you.
Forcing 5 people on 1 lane because it's ?busy? yet the lane next to us has been open all night is crazy. The point of cosmic bowling is 2 hours unlimited bowling. Having 5 people on 1 lane defeats the purpose and ruins my experience.
We went last night for my 50th birthday, it was fun! They had socks to buy. We forgot ours. We only bowled and bought drinks, But they had other features. I specially enjoyed when they turned the lights off and cranked up the music and had the special color lights! Lots of fun for a special day! Everyone we talked to that worked there, was nice and helpful.
Pretty much what you'd expect from a bowling alley. The people that work there are real nice.
Fun time and lights on the pins, customizable theme for the score screen, cute dino kids ramps, decent food and drinks just kind of on expensive side. We nearly got cut short for the long league prep and it seemed they occur many nights so something to check on potentially.
Bowling alley was great. Staff who took food and drink orders were friendly. The food was really good. The staff who handled shoes and game purchases... whole other story. One glared and wouldn't verbally respond when we came back over with requests. I needed a different size shoe...glared, and exchanged shoes without a single word. It was the same when we went back up to ask for bumpers for a child. Glared and pressed buttons on 7 with no verbal response.
Excellent food, volleyball(heated dome in winter), darts, bowling and did I mention food? They just came out with a new menu that is better than most sit down restaurants. Excellent hangout for anyone looking for a fun, clean, and affordable things to do in Eau Claire. If you haven't been in a while like I had, make sure to check it out!
Got a smash burger there and it wasn't a smash burger. Just regular cooked patties on a bun... Worst part was it was $16. Definitely not worth the price.
Service and aps were awesome. Fun place with so much to do for family and business functions. Loved it
Made good drinks at the bar, bowling was great had fun, clean environment. Great people. Had fun. Got to try the blue hawaii, cosmo. Very good bar an service. Always welcome. Great bar. Can always go bowling to.
Was there for Tavern League bowling tournament. Lots of fun. Good service nice & friendly
My family had Thanksgiving banquet here and it was phenomenal. We bowled and played on the games and had old fashioneds and I drank the good scotch. I haven't been out to Wagner?s in awhile but I always liked the dome for indoor v-ball and will be back again, I'm sure soon. Thanks Wagners
Great staff and food makes for a super fun time!
Awesome staff, love the variety of being able to hangout indoors or outdoors and great food! The kitchen staff has been putting out a lot of new, delicious and fun specials.
Wagner's Lanes & The Complexx is a fantastic place to hang out. Inside, the bowling alley offers good food and service, plus arcade games for added fun. Outside in The Complexx, you'll find volleyball, large beer pong, and corn hole courts. The two-story outside bar is a standout feature. The staff is awesome, and the vibes are fantastic, making it the perfect spot to drink and relax with friends. The nachos are HUGE...awesome family style app or meal! Highly recommended for a great time both indoors and ou
Great place to bowl or have a drink. Food is mostly good and the complex is definitely worth checking out.
Really had a great time. Affordable, fun and more than enough space.
Our first time here for the Special Olympics tournament. The entire building was packed with bowlers, parents, caregivers, coaches and spectators. The staff was super nice and accommodating. I would love to visit again!
Like going here often. Very nice alleys and very clean. Pro shop in the back. Full bar and food. Some arcade games. Cosmic bowling at 9pm. Love the tonics where you can take pics and it puts them in cartoons between turns!
Great food, fast and tasty drinks. Gabi was my bartender. Never before have I been treated so well when I have went out for drinks. Not just me either, it's like she was four people actively pouring drinks for people. She was effortlessly pleasing everyone?s needs at the bar. I would say more but to keep it short?I am pretty sure she is a goddess of some sort. In closing, please cherish this beautiful human being while you have her. I would say she's one in a million, but that would be cutting it short. Gab
Had my yearly Christmas party here and had loads of fun
Our whole group got food poisoning after eating the pizza here.
We were recently here for a birthday party. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. Both were good. Service was good. Nice bowling alley as well. Lots of games to play if you don't want to bowl.
Shut down our lanes mid game at the end of the night with no warning or refund. Will not be back.
They totally screwed up our food order and lost it but they made it right after finding out. Very clean alley compared to a LOT that I've been to. Nice environment. Only negative is stairs going into the alley which isn't so great when you're hauling your own balls.....
Cosmic bowling is a rip off and the wording is wrong. The sign shows 9 - close which they close at 12 but you are actually paying for only 2 hrs of bowling. Better off going to Bowlwinkles and pay $15 for 4 games and take your time playing.
Cosmic bowling was fun!
We were going to have my birthday party there, my wife even called ahead of time for a reservation, but they told us they don't do reservations. They said they shouldn't be busy however and to come anyways. (We live an hour away, so it was a good drive there.) So a good size group of us came and it was packed! We asked them why they said it wasn't going to be busy but was, and all they said was "Sorry, we have newer people working here." We waited there for about 45 minutes, until they said once someone lea
Had UW-stout bowling tournament here. Spacious and had good food.
Friendly and helpful staff. The volleyball area is set up nicely and a great place to hang out. Food was good and drinks were cold. Had a good time here.
Brick oven Pizza continues to change every time we eat here. Originally they had fresh meats on pizza. Now sausage is pre sliced, along with pepperoni. Not very impressed at this point. Staff at Bar is very professional and quick.
Bartenders are a blast and fun to talk to. They are attentive and good at what they do. Food and atmosphere are superb. Can't really complain at all. They even keep volleyball going in the winter with the bubble. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy yard games like Cornhole or playing volleyball and getting a drink after.
Nice updated bowling place. Usually places for bowling are cramped. This place is very open. The waitress was very nice and got our food quickly.
Great food. meh service. They didn't want to put up the bumpers for our kids until they bowled 4 straight rounds of gutter balls. One guy even said they didn't have bumpers on the lanes we were on but they did. Our kids ended up enjoying themselves because we were persistent but, wow.
Pizza is great and hardly ever a wait to bowl!
By far the best alley that I've seen in the dual city area. Medium size, clean, spacious, and technologically up to speed. It is the supreme choice for the casual or serious player. Workers are also very fast at their jobs once you let them know of the issue (which rarely occurs).
Wags is always a good choice to grab a drink and socialize. Lots of outside space and games to keep you busy. The only downside is it can get pretty crazy in league nights and waits can be awhile, but to be expected.
Great place to play and eat some great tasting food! place was busy but still a great atmosphere for all.
Had a great time. The lanes look absolutely amazing!
Had a work event here. First time I've been here liked the atmosphere, food was slow at coming out but tasted good. Volleyball area was cool and a nice place for the kids to hang out. Customer service was also on point.
It was a fun experience for the boys and they are eager to go again.
Fun enough atmosphere and friendly staff- they have a variety of games and plenty of things to do. The bowling in the main draw, though. That is fairly priced and seems to be well maintained from what I've seen.
Definitely better places to hang out with your friends. Bar manager is rude and aggressive. Bartenders are extremely friendly, I feel bad for them. They should work for a better ran establishment.
Locally owned. Supported and loved by local patronage and a must stop kinda place. The company has an amazing staff. Stop in and check them out.
Great place for bowling and food. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Wagner Lanes.
It was a fun experience for the boys and they are eager to go again.
I always come here, feels like home. Many different things to do here. Even better in the summertime. Only problem is the staff. I've had multiple issues with their poor service and the way they treat some and favor others. It's too bad because that place would be perfect is they didn't have douchey tenders. Still gets a 4 star though. Great place to meet up ford rugs with the regency tweaker hotel right next door.
My sister, niece and I had a great time here tonight. The service is usually pretty good when I come here and it's not super expensive. I always have a good time here. One down side is we wouldn't really come back for the pizza.
Bowling is fun, good lanes. Bars are good and easy to get drinks. Just had to say the young worker at the bowling alley needs to get fired, definitely treated us very bad.
Wagner's hosted our company bowling event. They were great to deal with and we all had a great time.
Went today Christmas Day moved back and fourth to between to lanes both won't working properly, pins won't resetting properly and bumpers won't stay up, gave us a free drink but wasn't good enough, we ordered food and they gave us the wrong food and they said u ordered it so we ate it and 10 mins later she came back and said that wasn't yours and now you owe me for them completely unorganized and drinks were weak.. glad they were open today
Went there with a friend to have some appetizers and drinks in the Complexx area. The smoking area is outside the gate so we let the bartender know we were stepping outside. There were no signs to leave to let the employees know that we were just going to smoke, and we had at least half of the 3 appetizers we ordered left, and our cocktails on our table. When we returned our entire table was cleared, and nothing was left. We didn't get much of a response from the bartender or waiter, but we paid our bill an
Wagners is great. The food is good, the atmosphere is always fun and there's so much to do. They have outside games, volleyball, bowling, video games and drinks galore. I always have a good time. I only give 4 stars because they took the bucket nachos away and those were the best.
It was a whole lot of awesomeness!! The venue was nice...took my son there who has Down syndrome and the people were amazing! It felt like they all knew us forever....and we took a road trip from Green Bay!! The concert was a blast...drinks weren't crazy expensive...like they are at most concerts!! Would definitely go there again for another road trip! Very good experience all around!! ??
Great food & atmosphere!! * PLUS: Entertainment for every age-group!!
Fun place to gather around! There's good food, good drinks, and mediocre music!
Wow this place is cool! Indoor volleyball leauges, indoor bag toss, super fun atmosphere!
It's a a good place to bowl and go to for a drink though it gets crowded fast. They have beach volleyball and cornhole outside with another place to buy drinks. They have no right to have that good of food. I get a plate of their fries there everytime I go. Drink selection is standard with most bars.
Very cool spot but the staff are oddly possessive of each other. Both times I was there I felt weird. Both times same situation. Made conversation with a staff member and 4 other staff members b-lined it over to us to see what the conversation was about. Second time same thing. If I had been making unhappy faces I could see how they might be concerned I was an unhappy customer. But that wasn't the case so....
A very good place to unwind
Very disappointed. We had a large group of 12 adults coming in to bowl on a Saturday. Myself and my friend both called called a week ahead of time, a day ahead of time, and the day of and they wouldn't take a reservation (but wanted us to call multiple times to remind them we were coming). Okay, fine first come first serve not a big deal. Said they had a tournament, also fine, and that they didn't have league that night. Open bowling we were told was at 630. I get there at 6 and get to the counter and they
Couldn't see my beloved Bears, but Wagners had it on the big screen for my buddy, son and I, wings were good, service great, i would go back
What a great place! We were in town to visit our grandsons and bowled, ate, and played games. It's a perfect spot to spend family time in the winter! And the food was great!
We decided to have my child's 2nd birthday party here and rented the Green Room. We had about 25 people there and the room fit everyone very comfortably. The staff was very accommodating, Pat was great to work with. We were given 3 lanes for bowling and it worked very well. The food arrived right on time and everyone loved the pizza. I would be likely to have another party at Wagner's in the future.
The staff were friendly and service was fast. Cool place with lots of activities, not just bowling!
I come here every so often and usually no complaints. Came this evening and the shoes we rented are absolutely terrible. 3 pairs of shoes with 0 friction on the toe. Basically can't even plant to throw.
The outdoor complexx is a fantastic place to be in the summer. The food and drink is above average and the staff I great and conversational. The atmosphere is perfect for warm weather with all the sand volleyball surrounding a open air bar.
Middle of the board. This is why. The drinks were made perfectly. Not overwhelming but enough booze in them that you can tell its there. However, the beady eyed bartender makes you feel very uncomfortable with his staring and talking to coworkers. You're right buddy, you've never seen us before. Therefore you should try to build rapport not chase away because we're not in your click. We will be back just to see if it's the bartender or a normal thing.
Bloody Mary was probably good if you like the thicker tomato juice. Pretzel bits were good. But... Went in to watch the badger game and it was on two little corner tvs and couldn't be put on any others. So do not go there to watch a game unless you are lucky enough to have yours on the big screen. Huge potential there but no willingness to use it. Bartenders were really good thoue. Not their faults about the tvs.
You have to check out the Complex when it is set up in the winter. Saturday night bowling is so much fun!
Got krunk here. Food was better than I was expecting. Was enjoyable but didn't blow my socks off. Will return.
Oh lord how do I start lol. The staff is some of the most amazing souls the atmosphere is what draws you in. The balls lanes and food is all amazing. Ima be honest whatever yall are paying the employee's it's just simply not enough. They are the reason the atmosphere is so positive and upbeat. Sometimes I wish diffrent music was playing but beggers can't be choosers I'll bowl here any day of the week and will always love this place till they give me a reason not to.?
Great place for some family fun. One of the workers even came over and helped our young bowlers get better. Just thought that was a really nice thing to do.
I bowl about 2-3 times per year, so NOT a regular, but the staff was great. We had a good time. Ordered a pizza which was better than expected.
Solid bowling ally we have been going tk for years. They have a bad and grill attached and volleyball as well.
Went in here for a beer. Bartender was pleasant, beer lines were apparently very clean, which I find important. The bathrooms were clean, probably my kids here to play some arcade games.
Had lunch and the food was good. Reasonable price. It is a very large bowling alley and well maintained. It has a full service bar. It also has an enclosed volleyball center that is open year round.
I haven't been bowling here but the outside area is awesome. The bar is a bit cramped but it functions. Decently priced drinks and a really cool place to hang out with any size group of friends Large beer pong, large connect four, large Jenga, corn hole, and a few random bar games. 3 volleyball courts
I have been here a few times since the volleyball courts were put in. It's getting 2 stars cause the drinks were horrible. Ordered Old Fashions what I got was smashed up orange and the bitters were way off. So I went to try a White Russian. Another drink that was horrible. Ordered Coolers Light from the tap dirty glass. Bottle beer is the only thing I could find not messed up. Then I witnessed a bouncer letting people out with a full pitcher and into a car they just left. It gets 2 stars cause they do hav
The Complexx is fantastic for winter volleyball. The facilities and bar on the bowling side are clean and well kept. The food is very tasty. This is a great place to take kids bowling during the day then watch the Packers in the bar at night. Wagner's has become one of my favorite places to hang with friends.
Terrible staff, very disrespectful.when I sat down got very rudely asked (by a staff named Brady / tall blonde middle age guy)if I could read, then pointed at a sign for no drinks, I apologized but was still treated very poorly. Sat down to watch bowling game and was told I couldn't sit there with street shoes, even though he was walking the whole time on the floor with his street shoes. They were informed that i had a special needs individual and couldn't leave him. They asked if I would like to be kicked
Well that's a long story so buckle in, for eight years I was in the Special Olympics and learn and played. The people are really nice there. And go in there is always an experience:-) still love going there. And Wednesday? nights are dollar bowling night. And Fridays are cosmic bowling.
They have some of the best bartenders around! Great selection of food. Vegan options are better than most restaurants in the area.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
