Awesome location, the newer machines are only 50 cents to play and the older ones are a quarter to play. I brought $20 worth of quarters and spent four hours playing. Excellent value. I was upset the one machine I really wanted to try was down at the time (Godzilla).
I really can't say enough about this place. It's the first time in 20 years+ I felt like I was back in the 80?s. A lot of gameplay for the $ and the best games old and new, like 8 Ball Deluxe, to Led Zeppelin. Also totally chill and you can bring your kids and relax.
Well maintained games. Value price. Easy access. A must for pinball lovers.
I was sad when Mom's pinball closed, until the collection re-opened on the Red Line! What a fantastic spot. For a moment in time, it's like 40 of the best pins ever made are in your basement.
An amazing collection of pinball machines that are incredibly maintained and shockingly affordable. This place is a gem and I'm so glad that DC has it. Hope it lasts for 100 years in this spot!
Inside of a deserted mall is the best maintained group of pinball machines I've ever seen. So cheap, so fun. This is my happy place.
Such a fun date night. They used to be crammed in a pizza place but now has their own dedicated pinball arena. The prices are awesomely cheap too!
So glad the collection from MOMs is back in action! Seeing that they kept the games at 50 cents a play despite moving to a new location is also awesome! Next time I'm down in DC I'll absolutely be stopping here
Great pinball selection and awesome price per game! It is a hidden gem quite literally since it can be hard to find in the mall, but once you find it, it's such a great time
This place feels like a private collection. The owner is very generous to share such great machines with the public. All machines are very well maintained and the games there are among the highest rated among pinball enthusiasts. Very nice to have in the neighborhood.
Great pinball spot with lots of the best machines that seem well maintained.
Amazing collection in terrific condition with great prices! Very helpful, attentive, and nice staff. This is all in addition to an excellent location right up the escalators from the Metro station
Great to see VUK back in action at the new location. Miss the pizza but moving on. 50 cent pinballs great for the enthusiasts bad for the operators out there trying to earn a living. Newest pin Foo Fighters premium. Great to see he is a JJP fan hope they fix the cell on the Dial Inn and get the Godzilla up and running. Great to play some oldies well conditioned Get Away and Adam's Family. Would love to see them get a new center piece for the new location a Elton, Pulf Fiction or a Uncanny XMEN would be supe
This is what I imagine growing up in the 90s would have been like
Amazing. A couple dozen machines. Rush, Zeppelin, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, many more.
Neat spot. Was in town and found it on the Pinball Map app. Definitely worth the stop
Been looking for pinball and it is amazing to find this smallish but respectable collection of well-maintained, super cheap cabinets right at the top of the metro. Yes!
Pinball machines of a wide date range kept in excellent shape and serviced promptly when needed.
Press play before you put a coin in. You might get a free game.
Best kept arcade I have ever visited.
great machines, great pricing, great condition
Pinball. A lot of pinball..
Awesome and unique place
Thank you Scott Nash for letting us play your machines! They are all a work of art and engineering. Best entertainment value in town!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
