Customer Reviews

Great place and friendly staff! This was our first experience. Wife and 2 children had a ball. We did the plane and racing simulator. Last we played the zombie game together. My children didn't want to leave. We will be going back. We are gonna try the Williamsburg location next!

Donna was SO wonderful and knowledgeable about all of the games! She walked my kids through every game they wanted to play and was really helpful the entire time we were there. We will most definitely be back!!!

Came here on a whim for some spontaneous fun and we were not disappointed. Had the whole place to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon so we received plenty of attention from the only staff member and quickly found some great VR games that appealed to both of us: Cook-out for her and SuperHot for me

Had a great time with the family, they have a huge selection of games. We will definitely be back again to try them all out.

I've had a few hours to kill before my flight and since it's right next to the airport it was very convenient. I've had a great experience here and Donna was very helpful with the instructions. Highly recommended!!

Frustrated. Came to have some fun for my 8 y.o. son and his 3 friends for his birthday. I informed the employee that it was only my son's second time doing this and a first for the others. My son had a blast at the spot in Williamsburg so i figured he would here and its closer. The employee acted as though it was their first day of employment. They gave very little instruction on how to play or interact on the game and was constantly just walking away to check their cell phone. They weren't aware of the kid

Thank you all very much for making my niece's birthday so special. What an amazing place. The owner is an awesome, sweet lady. Olive, will definitely be back to thank you in person, to see such a happy face after everything you did for her was amazing. You guys went above and beyond. We enjoyed every minute of it. Great, clean, friendly place. Wishing you the best of luck .

My kids loved it, constantly begging to go back. It's in the outlet mall near the airport so if you have time to kill, this is the place. Plenty to do and reasonable prices.

Great fun and super nice staff! The horror and escape games were a blast

My experience here was okay. The place was hard to find and because of that it went into my time that I had reserved. The system kept having issues, which took time into our reservation. 15 minutes prior to our end time the system stopped working once again while my bf was in mid game. The young lady working was friendly and patient. I would recommend Arriving at least 15 minutes earlier so the set up won't fall into your time to play. We paid 100.00 for 3 of us, since my Daughter did not want to play, we w

I love to shop and of course my Son?s (teenagers) love to play, so just to reward them for sticking it out with me we stumbled in to this place inside the Norfolk Outlets. We were greeted by Chasida who was so pleasant, professional and Fun. She informed us of all the details and we decided to stay and play. Needless to say they had a ball and now want to have a party there next month for all their friends to have some fun too. Parents you can have fun here too fyi ????

Pros- lots of game options, big area/venue and they offer water and plenty of seating.affordable family fun and interactive. Cons- games kept going offline from overheating, one person runs the process so it can be a long wait if you have issues or need assistance

It was fun, however there were not a lot of gaming options. What they did have made for a good time for a kids party. We had elementary school aged to high school and they all seemed to really enjoy themselves, just wish they had more options.

My son went for his birthday and was there for an hour, he said it was very laggy. Also about 10 mins. In he asked for help, and it took 15 minutes for them to fix it, and then it did'nt work in the last 5 minutes again. He was so upset, and sad.

My son had such a great time here! The guy who helped us (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) was awesome!! Very helpful, kind and patient. Couldn't be happier to recommend this arcade!

This place is pretty cool. We enjoyed an hour of VR play. Dave was so kind and patient with everyone. Definitely coming back for more!

So fing awesome!!!! Play the bartender game. ..or the zombie game...you really can't miss. It can't really be described you just gotta do it

Very friendly and supportive staff. Great treat for a cold and rainy weekend. Good for your kid's birthday party.

They have a great selection of VR options. Standing up or sitting down. Plus a great flight simulation set-up. Best to make a reservation. Highly recommend.

Had an awesome time! Son had the best Birthday party ever!! Best gaming/VR place in the area! Teenagers couldn't stop talking about the experience ??

It's a nice environment to relax in. The boss was very nice and helpful and friendly. The place is actuallynot where it says it is. It's next to the as seen on TV store inside the outlet.

The person that explains how to do the equipment takes too long it takes up most of your time and she rushed us didn't wasn't good at all not enough time for the money that you spend no water was available and when it was time to go she rushed us tell us we had to leave it was just it wasn't good at all bad experience we won't go there again yes and I will tell people about it

Lots of fun . Me and my son had a great time.

I didn't really partake but a number of people in our party had a blast!

this place was really fun chasida was nice and can tell you anything you need to know would definitely recommend this place

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
