What a truly cool place. Live music, unique cocktails and crazy fun VR games. Highly recommended. We had players from 10-50 and everyone loved it.
This place is awesome. Great setup for VR golf, awesome sim racing setup and so many VR headsets. My 6 year old and I go play the meta quest arcade world and do VR claw machines, VR basketball, VR nerf guns and honestly it's such a fun and curated experience, the owner really cares about making it fun and everything he has is functioning as expected at the time of review.
Highly recommend if you want to chill, have drinks, and do some VR or play games. Had a great time doing zombie VR and using the golf simulator with a new couple we started hanging out with. The owner is really friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back to do some more golfing and maybe try a different VR experience in the future.
This VR gaming and social spot is great for the whole family. They have weekly events where you can sing karaoke, network, team build, or meet new people. They offer group VR, escape rooms, multiplayer and single player options. Chose from 100s of experiences as you are transported into a meta verse of augmented reality.
I went to VR social for my daughter?s 13th birthday on 12/14/24, was sold a package that wasn't true to the situation. Was advised it was a closed event but people came in, was advised my daughter would have a playlist for her friends & family couldn't do that, was lied to saying little kids can play when the games are too scary for kids under 9 or 10 minus the fruit ninja. Most of their equipment didn't work, the pizza was burnt, the guy working tried his best he has black hair & glasses but the guy whole
We came here as a group with work. Everyone had a great time. It's a great place to lounge and participate in the VR experience. I tried a couple of things and were great! I have to point out that the guys who were working there, all were super accommodating and helpful. They offered soft drinks and water and was quickly to rush to you if they noticed any issues. I would recommend everyone to try, and be kind with your reviews. Everyone go thru struggles, and we all can try uplift others just with
We came here to celebrate a birthday and had so much fun as a group. The owner was so attentive and kind. We will definitely be back. The zombie game was great!
My family and I had a great time!! Thank you for the experience, I'll be back as soon as possible.
This place was a huge disappointment. I took my son and his friends there for his fourteenth birthday. We were there over spring break on march twentieth. Several of the VR headsets weren't working correctly. The gentleman working there had to keep moving people to different headsets. Then there were lots of volume control issues and haptic feedback issues. Overall every kid, ranging from 8-14, male and female was disappointed with the experience. Not to mention it cost $40/person for three hours. When we
Super cool little spot in public market, very hidden gem it's in the far back left of the building. But once you get up there, good vibe and people that work there. They're open later on Friday?s and Saturdays with a DJ
Cool concept but staff isn't helpful if you don't know what you're doing and the time goes really fast. Friend and I spent $50 for maybe 10 minutes of actual play time since it took so long to figure out all the settings. Definitely not worth the money even tho the places has cool vibes. We also went in a DJ night which was awful for VR. You can't hear anything while playing or anyone you are playing with.
Went here on a date night and it was absolutely killer. Place is designed well and has a mind boggling mix of games/experiences. We did an escape room and zombie apocalypse thing in the large area where you can roam around with battery operated headsets. "Fun" doesn't do it justice--it was the coolest thing I've experienced in a while. It isn't cheap, but is well-worth it for the level of fun.
This review is for the VR escape room. I really wanted to love it (I love escape rooms and I love VR). But the sound from other games and the music being blasted made it unable for me to hear the game even a little bit. If I pushed down with hands on my ears, I could hear that there was very delightful sounding game music and sounds. Luckily I could hear my wife some of the time, but absolutely zero of the game music. The explosion sounds, and music were extremely distracting for our experience. It was near
This place does not have the network capacity to support itself when it's busy. This means if a separate large group comes in, expect your experience to suck. For the 3 hours we were there - only 20 minutes were spent playing games we wanted to play. We were forced to play games we didn't want to because the attendant prioritized larger party, not the people who were there first. We were kicked out of the main gaming area only 10 minutes into our play time and then endured a terrible virtual escape room wit
This place is really cool. It helps if you know a thing or two about VR, but the staff is very helpful and friendly and will get you up and running. Went with my mamasita and her 9 year old son. We all fun shooting eachother in VR. Worth checking out or definitely throwing a party at.
Diving into the world of virtual reality (VR) gaming has been an absolute thrill, and I owe a big thanks to Tony for introducing me to this mesmerizing experience. Moreover, the accessibility of VR gaming has been greatly enhanced thanks to Tony?s efforts in making it available to kids. By providing opportunities for children to experience the wonder of VR, Tony is not only helping them have fun but also sparking their curiosity and imagination.
Really cool spot. They have a multitude of games/headsets. They sell alcoholic drinks as well. The staff is nice and friendly. I come here every month or two to play some games and have a beer.
Cool experience we had a blast playing vr. Love that they have a bar and great music. Review update after paying $134 tips included. Not sure how this added up. We played three games (10mins each), 5mins in the VR arcade and 3 drinks (2 white claw and a hard cider). Something doesn't seem to be adding up price wise. We were the only ppl there and in between games were chatted up by the owners. Were we charged time for these in between times and for when I left to use the restroom? If we were getting charge
Great place to enjoy VR in the Edgewater Market. My family and I had a fun time during a 1 hour session of the VR Free Roam. Very helpful staff as well. We'll be back!
Great place to take your kids or a group of friends after having a bite to eat at Edgewater Public Market. They also have live music nights on the weekends with local talent that are worth looking out for.
Went here with a few friends for my birthday and had a great time! We tried out the 3 different VR stations they had and all of us loved em each!
A really fun activity to do with kids! Staff was really helpful, and the place has a cool vibe. It's tucked away upstairs, but it was a great find! We'll be returning.
Fun if somewhat expensive place to bring the kids.
Great ambiance, & the owner Khloe is super nice and professional. Fun VR experience
The groupon for the ?rides? was wack, machine is old and so are the games.
This was the first VR experience for four of us ranging in age from 17 to 69. It was great, we had a blast.
Took my son here for a fun Saturday night, they had a blast and memorable experience!
Great service! We probably would have stayed longer if there was a bigger selection of activities to choose from.
Great selection of games and the staff is super helpful. Would definitely book again!
Fun RV games n music
Really fun, really suggest going here
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
