Took my 9 year old son today and we had an awesome time! We were there for about 5 hours total. What a great variety of quality games without a bunch of duplicate games. If your kids like Wreck it Ralph you will find many of the games and characters here! Lots of games I remember from childhood! We can't wait to go back with the rest of the family!

Excellent trip down memory lane. Just $20 gives you all-day free play access to tons of classic arcade games and pinball machines. Think of your favorite classics and there's a good chance they're all there. The place is always kept clean and the games are well maintained. Anytime games need maintenance they are tended to right away. They do an amazing job running the place and I plan to continue visiting frequently.

Vintage Vault Arcade is a hidden gem in Mukwonago that took me on a nostalgic journey back to my childhood. This place is packed with dozens of classic arcade games, all in excellent condition, and a great variety of pinball machines to round out the experience. As someone who spent countless hours trying to master Paperboy, Joust, Tempest, Defender, and many others, I was thrilled to find all these old favorites in one place. The games are well-maintained, and the atmosphere captures the essence of the a

A Hidden Gem for Gamers and Fun-Lovers Alike! Vintage Vault Arcade is an absolute blast! The price of admission is super affordable, especially considering how much fun you get in return. From the moment you walk in, the upbeat vibe hits you-the energy is positive, nostalgic, and just plain fun. The space is packed with classic arcade machines, retro goodness and arcade machines. What really makes the place special, though, are the owners. They're incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to s

This arcade is THE BEST! I'm in Milwaukee and happily make the 30-40 min drive to spend a night gaming here. So much fun with lots of classic games I haven't seen in years. The arcade has lots of options, is well kept, and the owner, James, and his lady Schuyler are really kind, knowledgeable people! Definitely take the time to check it out. -Betsy

Amazing collection. I took my cousins from Canada and they loved it. Great fun for adults and kids as well.

Best place for a fun afternoon. Bring the whole family something for everyone to enjoy there! Lots of cool vintage games to play. Been here a few times and just recently had my sons birthday party here. Owners are super friendly and very easy to talk to. Birthday party was a hit for the kids!

Not enough words can describe how awesome this place is. Clean, friendly, chill, cheap fun. $20 for the whole day and u can leave, go grab lunch, and come back again. The amount of pinball games means u never have to wait long to play a favorite. They treat their customers like family and get to recognize faces!

I've head about this place for a long time. We finally made our way to Vintage Atcade and were blown away. We can't wait to come back. What a blast from the past. Reminded me of being a kid again.

I recently took a short 90 minute road trip from Northern Illinois to check out the pins at Vintage Vault in Mukwonago, WI. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The lot and entrance for the arcade is at the back of the building. For a Friday afternoon this place was doing a steady business. This is a freeplay arcade, so only $20 for all the pinball and cabinet games you can play. I think they opened at 12 and close at 10 on weekdays? At any given time between about 1-5pm there were probably 4 or 5 o

Please read the entire review. Find out we have an old school arcade so I decided to go check it out. Gentlemen at the counter explained it's $20 all day he stamps my hands and finished telling me that I can come and go, bring in my own drinks just place them on the floor, not on the machines. Makes sense to me. The place was packed, it was extremely clean and organized. Every single game worked like it was brand new. Bathroom was spotless and they had tables and chairs set up on the patio for eating, sitti

Nice people. Nice Machines. Top tuned pinball. Some rare arcade titles. Great asset to the region. As for the review that said it was noisy.....ummm....yeah, so it is an ARCADE and their might be *gasp* children or adults having fun here. Stop once to check it out and you'll be a regular customer after you see how far your admission price gets you. Shhh.....they now have Stern insider connected King Kong Pinball!!!

Vintage Vault Arcade is the BEST arcade with a huge selection of pinball machines and video games all on free play for one flat rate! This arcade is lovingly maintained and the owners are welcoming and friendly! They have Barry Oursler's (my Dad) pinball games there as well! I will not play his games anywhere else but at Vintage Vault! My Dad would have LOVED this place! ??

I was able to visit on a Friday night with my 16 yr old son and dad. We had a blast. Lots of different games even ones from my childhood. I enjoyed all the pinball machines the best! Definitely go and check them out!

Fun time, good old school games, a few newer games. Owners are nice. One time charge to come in all day, so you can leave and get food, come back! Recommended if you like pinball (good variety/quality).

Recently stumbled across Vintage Vault with my 6 year old son while searching out where to play the new Metallica Remastered pinball machine, and glad we did! The 40 min drive was worth it and it was only $20 for all you can play on any game. Great assortment of pinball machines, new and old and various manufacturers. In addition, there were over 100 vintage video arcade machines that were all in their original glory. Each pinball and video machine was in excellent condition and all worked great. Met and sp

We had gone here yesterday for my husband's bday. We absolutely loved it. So many different games (pinball is my favorite). So much fun for adult and kids. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is so much fun! Took my dad here for Father?s Day and he had an absolute blast (and got in for free)! I love that they are open late as well, definitely will be coming back

Such a fun place!! Amazing assortment of games and pinball selection, play all day for 1 low price! Well maintained and friendly staff. Highly recommend for a fun day with classic video games!

We had an amazing time visiting! The arcade machines are in excellent condition, and the variety of games offered something for everyone to enjoy. While there aren't too many dining options nearby, the experience was absolutely worth the trip. I highly recommend it for a fun day out!

LOVE FROM INDIANA!!!! Amazing place! Honestly, I would recommend this place to anyone because it is just the awesome. In fact, it was so fun my mother didn't want to leave, so we had to drag her out ??

VVA is awesome. Great flat price for entry, play all day if you want. It can be crowded sometimes but it's never too bad. Met the owner who is a nice guy and knows his stuff for sure. Great small business with great people involved.

This place is great!!! Great games, great owners. If you like vintage arcade games (and pinball), this is 100% the place for you. We were there for a few hours this weekend and it was very fun. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and making sure we had a good time. It is bit cramped (but not too bad) and they are working on finding a bigger space and expanding. All the games were in very good, working shape.

It's a small place but has a lot of great games. Has a good amount of pinball machines too. Very loud inside though.

This place is SO MUCH FUN! We love it, and it's an inexpensive way to spend a Saturday. The owners are so, so nice, and just want to make sure everyone has a great time.

Walking into a vintage arcade as an adult is like stepping through a time portal back to your childhood. The moment you cross the threshold, the unmistakable sounds of blipping, blooping, and digital melodies fill the air, instantly transporting you to a simpler time. The dim lighting, punctuated by the glow of neon lights and the vibrant colors of the game screens, creates an ambiance that feels both nostalgic and electric. As you wander through the rows of classic arcade cabinets, you can't help but feel

I've taken my kids many times now. They always love it... and so do I. Lots of fun. Also took my nieces and nephews for their bdays and they loved it too.

Had a great time!! An extremely great deal to pay 20 all day!! Pinball alone is at least a dollar a game anywhere else... so if you play just 20 times, you are good to go. Plus, they have all the games you played as a kid... what a blast from the past!!! Thank you for sharing your love with the community!!

Vintage Vault hosted our kiddos birthday last year, and the kids loved it. The variety and quantity of games, great staff, and we were able to setup some space on the patio for pizza and cupcakes.

Had loads of fun here, iv never played retro games but I had an awesome time, my dad also loved it. The pepole that ran the place where also super chill, it was also clean and well maintained. I wish I could give it a higher rating but 5 is the max.

Awesome place. Many vintage arcade games that are in immaculate condition. Very clean and organized. The owners are very cool people. I love spending some time here.

Amazing arcade and super friendly owner. I'm not an arcade game connoisseur but I really enjoy coming here with my family. It was well worth the drive. Tons of variety and plenty of games to choose from. Great place for novices to arcade aficionados alike.

Awesome place for adults and kids alike! We have visited on rainy days, hot summer days, for birthday parties and even had our son?s party here. Fantastic experiences every time!

Fun way to spend the day, $20 gives you unlimited arcade game play no coins needed. You can come and go for the day. Great pinball and classic arcade games.

Went to vintage vault arcade with a buddy today, we had a really great time. Great selection of pinballs and arcades. $20 play all day- what a great deal. Vintage vault was really clean- all games were really nice and looked new- not sure how you do that with vintage arcades but the owner James did. James is a really nice guy and very friendly and seems to take a lot of pride in his business. I'm glad he opened this arcade up and looking forward to going back soon. Nice job on the arcade and bring somethi

A blast from the past! I took my grandkids there and they had a fantastic time. Ended up staying longer than we expected. The owner was very helpful with all our questions.

All the vintage machines and now pinball! Super clean and I always love visiting! The best arcade in Lake Country!

Great spot for pinball and vintage arcade games. Pinball games are all very clean and well maintained. Newer Stern & JJPs, plus some great classics!

This place was amazing. As an 80's kid, I miss the days when my friends and I would hang out at the arcade on the weekends, and this place captures every bit of those fond memories from years ago. 10/10 would spend hours of my life here if I could.

We had so much fun! I especially like the pinball machines but everything was great.

This is the best arcade i've ever been to. Billions of classic arcade games and pinball machines and they keep the place very clean. 10/10 would go again.

An enjoyable experience every time. Grandson had his birthday here. Took boyfriend for a date. Great price for all day entertainment.

Three of my friends and I went today for the first time and were greeted with a nice explanation of the arcade. The owner was present and very kind. Wish you luck on finding a new space to expand to. Will be back wherever you go!

First time here and I loved it!!!! I hope to see more different games and pinballs in the future. Thank you for opening this place!!!

We hosted our son?s 7th Birthday party here & we all had a blast! Even the grandparents! So nostalgic and fun for hours! We already can't wait to come back!

so much fun and the owner is so nice. we have a blast every time we come. love the constant improvements and the pinball selection growing

Great place to visit. Everything in working order. Great lineup of games to play. Excellent pinball lineup.

The $20 admission price is worth it! They have some 60 game consoles including most of the 80s classics like Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Asteroids, Millipede, Defender, Pole Position, Pac Man (various), as well as some newer like Mortal Kombat, etc. Stay two or three hours and play all you want without quarters. It'll feel just like 1985! They will host birthday parties (with pizza, etc.) and give discounts to church or school groups, teams, or scouts. A great time!

My family finally made it to Vintage Vault Arcade. We all enjoyed our visit! The owner James Srnec is very nice and runs a wonderful business. Family fun which is affordable. My only complaint is I wish he had more locations... Consider Kenosha or Racine James? I'd love to go more often. Plus you could attract more of the Illinois crowd. Thank you for running a great business!! Very well maintained. We will return. Great for families and for nostalgia folks.

Cool little arcade hidden underneath a dance studio. Owners greeted my friend and I at the door and were as kind as could be. There's a wide variety of arcade machines to choose from so you have hours of entertainment.

So much fun! What a great little place! So many arcade games! $20 for all day is such a deal.

Absolutely a phenomenal addition to this ever growing community. Vintage Vault Arcade is exactly what Mukwonago needed. Great location along the lake, incredibly affordable for a day pass, and some of the coolest game options from my childhood and even before. The owners were on site when my son and I visited and were incredibly accommodating. It's a great feeling from a customers perspective when a business owner is present and shows their appreciation. Can't wait to come here more and more.

Incredible quality collection, all machines well maintained. great variety of games. Excellent staff.

Amazing experience. My wife and I came here a little while back and we've planned to bring the little ones with when we come next. Sent and spoke with the owners who seem like genuinely good people and I loved their story. I sincerely hope and pray for continued success and wish them the best. The free play with entry fee is very consumer friendly and also allows kids to have more fun than whatever limited funds the parents can allow. The atmosphere and sounds bring back great memories for me and are for

The most fun my wife and I have had in quite a while. Owners are very nice and personable. Great selection of classic video games from the 70s through the 90s. Great mix of pinball machines some older, some brand new. $20 for the day is an amazing value!

We had our son?s birthday party here! It was so fun & nostalgic! We'll be back for sure!!

This place is amazing! Everything you'd want to play and in perfect working order. Definitely worth the drive!

Decided to google an arcade to take my 5 year old for the day and Vintage Vault was the first one that popped up. Not only did I read the reviews but we decided to give it a shot! So upon arrival their employee was so incredibly friendly and helpful and asked us if we ever had been there before and explained to us how the machines worked and how the 20 dollars per person pass worked. We were so amazed on how clean and organized the place was but most importantly my son loved it and had a blast! We definite

The labor of love that the owner has with this venture is amazing and paying off. Games all work very well to near perfect. Pinball games are all crisp. Family friendly. Open door policy, your pass is for the day. No food or drinks but what you bring. Nice area outside for snacking and chill. Parking lot is a bit tight, but the overall floor plan is cozy but not too tight. I can see this moving to a bigger spot someday. I hope it's going as well as it looks when I've been there. It's a blast for all ages

My brother and I are huge video game heads, and when we found this place through TikTok we thought we'd make the hour trek from Sheboygan to check it out for his birthday. Totally worth the drive! Tons of machines from the 80s and 90s, and even though there weren't arcades when we were kids it was cool to experience games we've only ever played on consoles and PCs in their original arcade glory. I totally got sucked into the pinball cabinets too: I probably spent an hour just on Godzilla! We had a blast and

I made the drive from Milwaukee and it was 100% worth the trip. I was there from 8pm-close (10pm) and i feel like i barely scratched the surface! Next time i come I'll probably want at least 4 hours to make sure i can play more different games. They had plenty of classic games from my childhood. For $20, it was a great value! Unlimited play for 20 bucks is a steal. I can finally beat some of these games without breaking the bank ?? Also worth noting; they keep the place VERY clean. This isnt some dingy ol

Wonderful arcade. Excellent variety of pinball machines that are extremely well cared for!

20$ cover charge for all you can play. They stamp your hand so you can leave and reenter. Really cool to have an arcade like this in a city this size.

Incredible step back into hours of fun. Pretty cool when the owner greets you and shakes your hand when you arrive. I will be back!

Very cool basement arcade vibe. A small location with some interesting games and a nice atmosphere.

Place is amazing. Owner knows his games, and is happily walking around letting people know of tips and tricks for the machines.

Love it here! So many games that bring back so many memories. The owner is so nice to talk to and is nice enough to answer all the questions I had. Not to mention the incredible value that this place is. They are consistently getting new games which really adds to the fun and keeps me wanting to go back.

Amazing! Excellent game selection. Convenient cover charge for all day play. Clean, family friendly. Adult run. Owner is an arcade enthusiast. Some rare and unique games. Something for everyone.

Absolutely AWESOME!! Super clean, tons and tons of games, unlimited play for $20 per person!!!! Go go go! You will love it and the kids will to! So much better than those dumb cards and wasting $ and broken games! This place is awesome! Support them please!!

In a time of crazy prices this place only asks for 20 dollars to play all day! Favorite place to take our kids on a cold or rainy day!

I walked in there the minute they told me it was 20 bucks I walked out I only wanted to be there a few minutes not for hours on end

Fantastic. Had a birthday party today there and it was a great place for 8 year olds party

We recently had a small birthday party here for our 12 year old son. Everyone (including the adults) had a blast! The owner was great on communication and was genuinely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the arcade, even for a fun date night! ??

They have all the classic games you could ever ask for, really fun place to hang out at!

We had so much fun here! I could have stayed a few more hours lol So many games I've played on Atari and Nintendo game systems as a kid were there in arcade form! Paperboy, Rampage, Tetris, Duck Hunt, Mario Brothers and Frogger to name a few! Loved the pinball machines too!

It was a lot of fun, lots of old school games to really take you back.

Vintage Vault has an amazing collection of original, REAL arcade games and pinballs. All the classics you know and many of the rarest games even most collectors don't have. The owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and strive to make sure your experience is top notch. Now, stop reading reviews and go play!!

Absolutely loved our birthday party here! Owners are amazing, and both the kids and adults loved it!

Amazing owners and machines. They take excellent care of the games and bend over backwards to please!

Amazing spot! Please check them out! Good choice of games and worth the drive for us. Thank you so much! 10/10

Rare arcade games you don't see at other arcades! I've been to several arcades recently and this is by far the best variety and sooo many great classics. Everything is in excellent shape, and it's a great atmosphere that comes from passionate and ultra friendly owners. Shout out for having Bucky O?hare, X-men and TMNT which were my favorite cartoons growing up. The new age pong table was also really fun, never even seen that before!

So cool! Plenty of games for all ages and could keep the kiddos busy for HOURS. Such a great concept and awesome addition for the town.

Great time! My nephew brought me here for my birthday. It was a great experience for this 47 year old. Lots of games I remember from childhood. One in particular that I never thought I'd see again, Satan's Hollow. It was unpopular and controversial when it was new. It's also more/less a slower, less fun Galaga ripoff. So to see one that survived all these years was an amazing surprise. $20 for the all day pass was worth every penny. I easily spent that in quarters back in the 80s and 90s. In and out privil

Awesome little spot. Love that it is one fee for the whole day($20/day). Love all the games wasn't super busy when I went easy to maneuver and enough games where your never waiting to play. Lots of 2 player games and shooting games there also which I love.

Highly recommend. So much fun!

I hope this places continues to grow. Good game selection

Super chill place, with lots of vintage arcade games. The ones in the building are only just some of the arcade games the owner Jimmy owns. Pay a little down to get in, get a stamp, and you can play all day. The stamp is so you can leave, get a snack, take a nap, then come back and play. Kids welcomed. Fun after school/summer activity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
