Customer Reviews

I reached out to the owner just looking for info on where I might be able to find an old-school baseball card or sticker vending machine. Nothing to do with making him money or bringing him business. But he still took the time to help me out, no hesitation. I really appreciate that kind of generosity. Says a lot about the kind of person he is and the values behind the business. Respect!

Gene and his staff are awesome! Gene is honest and knows his craft. Would never go elsewhere with my Ms Pac-Man.

Gene is the real deal. He has owned and operated arcades in California since the 1970s and it shows in his expertise, You want your arcade and pinball restored as it was back in the arcade Gene is your guy. Sharp as a tack. And he is a straight shooter. Worth the price. I had Gene restore a Big Blue Gen 2 Street Fighter 3 -3rd Strike - beautiful and arcade accurate. Gene uses the best of the best of CRT monitors and parts. I've dealt with other arcade dealers and those dealers turned out to be fraudulent an

VAS IS the place to come to get the old school arcades from the 80?s. Gene and the crew are the best.

I absolutely love this business! Gene and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, quirky, fun to talk to and very helpful. I just finished restoring a Tron arcade game that was destroyed in a flood. Without Vintage Arcade, it would still be a pile of non functional parts and a warped and rotted cabinet. Gene helped me get the boards working, upgrade to a modern power supply and Sheri reconditioned my original monitor. In addition, his whole team took the time to help me with the process, giving sound advice.

More than fair prices and i got everything i needed for my vintage pinball machine! Amazing what they have in stock! Highly recommended.

Outstanding business and staff. Thanks Gene.

I had the opportunity to stop by Vintage Arcade Superstore and meet Gene and his awesome team today, as I needed to pick up a clean monitor for a Dig Dug cabinet. Going through the warehouse and the front of the house showroom was magical. I'll be back for sure and would recommend to anyone in the arcade hobby without question.

Friendly Helpful Staff I'm rebuilding an old Capcom Street Fighter cab, and they have been wonderful in assisting me with my aging cab.

I had goosepumps standing there surrounded by dozens, nay, perhaps hundreds of arcade cabinets and pinball machines from all ages. I was blessed to get a quick, but full tour of the showroom and warehouse. These people are doing amazing things restoring and repairing machines to their former glory.

Great place. We buy games for movie props here. Fast repair services.

Gene Is the man! Fair and Honest shop, I bought a rare machine from him( Arm Champs 2) price was more then reasonable. He went all out to get me this game. Plus he was only guy that knew of this game

Nostalgia; it comes in many forms - for some it's food, for others it may be just a cartoon show you watched habitually, every Saturday morning. However, in this case, this company delivers on an entirely different scale. At first, my partner and I were skeptical, just because the date kept getting pushed back. This isn't meant as a passive-aggressive stab at the reliability, or the company's overall reputation. It was because this was just his first time purchasing a Star Wars sit-down arcade machine from

Very friendly. Helped me get a small part for my machine. If I was in the market for a pinball machine, I would have bought the new Jurrasic Park. Good selection and fair prices.

Shawn was very knowledgeable and courteous while we were there checking out/playing the vintage arcade games.

This place is awesome and it has some of the best old school pinballs. Booking this place for my next party! ??

Wauw! A great place for arcade enthousiasts.. You can try out all the products on sale for a small fee so we had a lot of fun! The workshop is also worth checking out..

What a great place for a grown-up party. All the video games you remember from your misspent youth.

Very nice man, let us play games and had a blast!

Ton's of arcade and pinball machines. You won't find a nostalgic place like this anywhere. If you're in the market this is the place to go.

Great games, great quality and a really fun time.

I would like to note that this not an arcade this is where you buy arcade cabinets

Gene the owner is awesome! Best place on earth!!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
