Great place for kids and adults to be entertained. Staff was super friendly, and the place was clean. Had a variety of options for 8 month old to adult age. We enjoyed the arcade and kid play area. The kiddos had hours of fun, and ball pitt was a hit! The food was good, pizza and pretzel with cheese.. mmm!!
Loved the mini golf course and everything. Retro with updated games. I'm glad it's still running. Anyone who grew up in the 90s like myself will feel the nostalgia. I wish I came when I was a kid. Seems perfect for birthday parties with a nice big seating area and an awesome play park.
This place has been around for a LONG time and for good reason. There is something to do for everyone. Arcade games, batting cages (which don't get overly busy), mini golf and regular golf. I took one star off because their mini golf feels like it hasn't been updated since the day it opened. They also have food, but prewarning you're better off eating elsewhere before or after. If you're looking for some cheap family fun, this is a solid option.
Been going here for years. You definitely get your moneys worth and the kids love it. It's a very comfortable vibe even when it's crowded. I'm a big fan of using the coupons they send out in the monthly clipper magazine. The kids always leave with prizes, smiles and a full belly.
This is a great location for different sporting activities and they have a nice arcade. You can take your family and have a good time or just stop by to swing at some pitches. My only feedback would be that some of the pitches for the cages are too sporadic so maybe changing the setting to a more consistent pitch for a few of the cages. Either that or if having the cages labeled which pitches are more consistent or sporadic.
We LOVE the batting cages. Not having to pick up balls is nice. My son loves to hit home runs over the railing. Please fix/lift the ceiling netting. The netting gets in the way of many home runs.
One of my best places to take my son. He's 5 and loves it here, The games are cheap to play they have tokens you can by 4 for a 1$ or 5$ for 22 tokens and so on. I like that they have tokens with this day and age everything is cards and tap. Reminds me of my childhood. They have this indoor playground and batting cages. The food is your typical pizza, popcorn, hotdogs etc. All at great prices you can easily spend 2-3 hrs in here. Not to mention the outside golf course
My son's favorite place in Delaware. It's a little drive for us but for 25 dollars my son can get in plenty of batting practice, we can play some games at the arcade and have a little something to eat. Great establishment.
We love Vinces, they have been a favorite since I played little league softball. I truly enjoy going there and batting still. They are always so kind, and welcoming. There's never an overwhelming amount of people there which is perfect when you have 4 kids. I 10/10 recommend this place always. We've had birthday partys there, we go there atleast 3-4 times a month also jsut randomly.
Great place to come to. I've always past this place driving by but now I'm glad I decided to go. Mini Golf was fun as they have two different courses. Lots of arcade games and batting cages. I had a really fun time here. I will be coming again. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was all good vibes.
Was there this past weekend for my grandson?s birthday party. This was the second year his party was held here. He had his 2nd birthday party at Vince?s last year and he couldn't wait to have his 3rd birthday party here as well. I'm pretty sure he had a great time. What I love about Vince?s is all the memories I have from here?.I started bringing my oldest son here to use the batting cages when he was in little league; my younger son followed in his big brother?s footsteps and played baseball too. So I spen
A gem. Bought 20$ of tokens, paid 2.75$ a piece for 3 kids to go in the play area (got 4 tokens each back so really only 1.75$). Gave the kids 10 tokens, then had them hop in the play area, 10 more tokens... until I ran out. Paid another 10$ in food/drink. The kids got to "buy" toys with tickets like at any arcade. The staff was extremely friendly and patient. I thought it would be super busy because of the heat, but it was not busy. Just a few other families and no summer camps. Overall spent about 3 hrs h
Vince's has an excellent set of mini-golf courses under shade, which is much appreciated on hot sunny days. Inside, we like to hit the small arcade for games old and new, from the multi-cade with Pac-Man to the newer like Halo Fireteam Raven. Skee-ball, ticket dispensing puzzlers, snacks, batting cages, Vince's has a little of everything. Friendly staff, a lot of fun!
Love coming here. Low priced batting cages. I drive an hour just to come here. And it's indoors for those hot summer days.
They are a good place and friendly but lately things like this been happening Warning!!!!!! When you see a machine filled this low do not use it. The cardboard rings are lower than the grab hand. We ask twice once the worker than the manager if the machine will be filled because they have many more behind the desk from when people hand in their winnings and we were told the machine is filled to their liking and as much as it should be filled. I have never seen this machine filled this low when at a kids fun
I love their employees Dominic was so helpful, the games are fun but the place may need an upgrade but the prices make people happy. The food was good, the space is large and the games need extra work but the kids were happy and the soft play area was reasonably priced and the location offers plenty if parking. We looked it out in our way back to Virginia!
Love the Par 3 course. As a beginning golfer, it's the perfect opportunity for a laid-back, skill sharpening experience. Beautifully maintained and cheap. The hole-in-one was nice too ?? ????
Local Family-Friendly One-stop! Kids have too much energy? Take 'em to Vinces! Need to work off some stress in the batting cages? Go to Vinces! Mini-golf turns into cage fighting bears? Go to Vinces.
This is another place I would recommend you go to if you want to have fun. All the games are fun to play. But that's not all. There are batting cages and a golf course also. Food tastes good too. From Ms.Pacman to Skee Ball, this place has pretty any game you could imagine. The staff is not just helpful, they're also very friendly I should say. Each game is 1 to 4 tokens to play. Whether you are a kid or an adult, I am sure you will have fun here. This place has things for people of all ages to do. So i
I love this place. I bring my son here for the batting cage every Saturday and he loves it. The people behind the counter are friendly and kind.
We stopped here as we came through town. The inside has arcade games and a large batting cage area. Looks like they are in the process of adding an indoor playground. We elected to do mini golf, which was outdoors. 2 courses for $8 per adult. It is well lit for evening play. The 18th hole is located inside. A bit run down, but the price and the options for activities are great for the price.
Not friendly to special needs people. My brother with Autism was told he cannot participate and play in his favorite activities by staff. Will not be returning because he isn't welcome per staff! So disappointing because he has coming been coming here for a long time and loved it.
Nice little unassuming spot. Decent options, interior is so-so. I do see a ton of potential that could turn this into something much greater than it's current form. Still a nice spot for the toddlers or a softball team looking for a quality indoor spot.
Played the mini golf today. It was fun with our grandson. But watch out for the poison ivy around the perimeter
Great people, clean nice place. We just go there for the batting cages, but many video games, putt putt, and a par 3 golf course.
Kids had a great time, the mini golf is in a nice shaded area and there's 2 courses to play. Food was fairly priced, the nachos were ok, the kids really liked the pizza, I tried it and it was pretty decent I thought, the biggest hit for everyone was the funnel cake fries. The arcade was pretty basic but a good assortment of games.
The batting cages are the best thing this place has to offer. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They have a nice party area. A good sized ball pit for the little ones. The mini golf was outside, too cold to play. The down side is that a lot of the games are old and don't function properly.
I come here just about every weekend with my kids and mom. The staff is always wonderful & the owner knows my daughter from camp & always is so kind to her. They still have old school coins & tickets which is my absolute favorite!!! It is small but easy to rack up tickets for the kids and good toy/candy options & the prices are amazing. I always recommend it here & will be having my kids birthday party set up here!
August Update: Mini golf course has been cleaned up. Some of the water features are now working and the entire area has a better look and atmosphere. Some of the animal sculptures need either an overhaul or replacement after years of service, but the course is still a nice place to bring the kids for a quick round of putt-putt. Original 2019 post: The mini golf course has become dilapidated but is still functional. Provides a simple good time at a reasonable price.
Been going here since I was a kid. Love this place. Prices are so affordable and my kids love it
Hands down the best place to bring a group of kids who all have different interests. ??
We did mini golf and it was okay. I used a coupon from the Clipper Magazine. If I had paid full price then I would have been disappointed. Their prices are expensive, especially the batting cages. I would consider this a low quality Chuck e Cheese
Every time I take my grandkids there they have a blast. They play games, earn tickets for prizes or candy, and have lunch, snacks and drinks. Everyone who works at Vince?s is extremely nice. The place is also very clean. I love bringing the kids there and we're always looking forward to the next time!
Putt-Putt golf was fun, we did not try the batting cages, but the video games were fun.
Went for a birthday and it was so fun!
Great batting cages and fun for kids all ages. Worth the money spent. They've been in business in the same place for many, many years.
Had a great time playing both mini golf ? courses at Vince's with my son.
First off let me tell you about the weather....feel like temp 106 degrees.......melting! We got to Vince's a little after 6pm and got started ordering pizza and drinks. Steve took the boys to get tokens to play indoor games and let the fin begin! We had our meal after games and then the tokens that turned into tickets turned into toys?? The four of us played a round of puttputt golf excitedly fun when we had two 7 year olds that never played the game, a sports pro and me. The establishment was neat and
Went in here for my teenage son?s bday party. Mini golf was a hit, the whole course is shaded by trees. Staff was very polite. The pizza was also better than expected. Would definitely come again.
If you're going to get some batting in or have fun with putt putt it's great. If you're playing the games, the prizes from tickets aren't the best, but it's still a quick and fun option over main event
Had my daughter?s birthday party here with a variety of ages from 18 mths - 12 years old and everyone, including parents had an amazing time! They made party hosting super easy & provided almost everything needed, food was good, drinks were good & staff was beyond friendly! The birthday girl had an amazing day!!!
This place was a great atmosphere the entire time I was there. We did have an issue with the spin to win machine, the girl Cheyanne came over and took the machine apart looking for the missing ball and put it back together-unfortunately the issue was someone might have taken the ball, but Cheyanne went above and beyond to make sure it wasn't the machine itself and made sure it didn't ruin our evening. All the other staff were friendly as well, but I was really impressed with the girl that helped us with how
Batting cages are excellent! Dozen balls for a buck, gotta love it! The layout allows you to actually send a ball to the wall. Mad fun!!!
Took my toddler here yesterday and he had the time of his life in the toddler play area! It was the perfect way to get some energy out and watch him build up his confidence by climbing and pulling himself up. I wish we would have come here sooner and can't wait to bring him back!
Love the batting cages and the staff is always friendly. Some games are a little out dated. The put-put course needs some love but is still a good time. Overall a good spot for some affordable fun!
I feel like they should add more things to the prize area,Add more things to the place, expand the area, and lower the prices for the prizes
I love Vince?s! I've been coming here semi-regularly since about 2019. It's a lot like a classic arcade, and is a ton of fun. The Minigolf course is simple yet fun, and I love the food a lot. The staff are not only friendly but very helpful, they're always helping out when machines stop working or if your coin gets taken by one. The jukebox is really cool, I love going over there and making it play the silly emo music. They throw parties and meets every now and then which I think keep it really lively aroun
Always a great time when I bring my son. He recently had a birthday party there as well. Reasonable party package prices enough for kids to do. Staff friendly I will definitely return.
My kids had an absolute ball. So much fun
My husband and I took 3 teenagers to Vince's last night for the first time. Everyone had a great time! The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the facility was clean and well run. We will definitely be back!
My grandsons love it here, and the staff members are all very helpful and understanding, when it comes to dealing with special needs children. They do not make you feel like you are asking them to move a mountain when you ask them to make special considerations in accommodating neurodiverse little ones! ??????
First visit in 10+ years. I forgot how fun this place is. Decent prices and my kids absolutely loved it! It even has a little ball pit the baby enjoyed!
Great place for kids. We had a great time playing miniature golf. Also, found an awesome deal through Groupon for miniature golf and pizza.
What an awesome place to take your family for a day of fun. No matter what ages they are, there is fun to be had by everyone. I used to bring my kids there at least once a week when they were toddlers, I learned to play golf there when I was a teenager, it definitely helped take my hitting in baseball to another level during and after little league, and I even had a few memorable dates there playing mini-golf and video games with girlfriends. I am 47 years old and have been going there for over 35 years and
It is not the cleanest and the pizza is disgusting but it provides lots of fun for kids of all different ages
We went for a bday party. There was plenty to play . Put out golf, the batting cages arcades with tickets to our hace prizes. Staff was nice and patient. The area was clean . Overall it was a very good experience and I will recommend.
Great place to have fun! Friendly people work there and it's super clean ??
I've played the par 3 golf course a few times recently with my sons. They are just getting into golf (and I've been out of golf for a long time) so this was a good place to start. I've played this course before years ago and it was pretty bad. The course in general was pretty rough and the greens were in horrible condition. Now I know full well this isn't Augusta National, but still I thought it should be a little better. But now it's not a bad course at all. The fairways and greens are groomed quite nice
We visited Sunday afternoon for the first time in a long time. We enjoyed ourselves and the staff was super friendly and kind to our almost 2 year old (especially Jeff over where you cash in the tickets for prizes). He let my son pick his prizes and was patient. He used friendly language towards him, too.The gentleman at the snack bar with glasses and brown hair (did not catch his name)was nice ; he offered me tokens in a cup instead of letting the machine continuously shoot back my $5 bill. I didn't even h
Beautiful chilled place fir kids to have fun not a big crowd
Went to Vince?s with my family on Saturday, 6/17/23. Had an awesome time from start to finish. All of the staff working that night were super friendly and helpful. Lots of fun activities to do with the family. Great prices and great food. Will definitely be back again! Thanks for the great customer service!
To be honest, the gold course looks a little dilapidated. There's supposed to be a running stream it looks like, which has debri in the path of the stream with no water running. The (real) trees overhead drop leaves, even not in Fall, which are on most of the courses. It looks like they attempt to clean the course, but not very well, it seems. The inside of the place, including the arcade and batting cages look clean enough, and well maintained. There aren't that many arcade games for kids, if you compare
My daughter age 6 has been asking me to take her on a daddy daughter date like her favorite youtube show A for Adly. So last minute idea was to check out this old family favorite today. We where the only ones there today and although the play place was down and a few games didnt work or didnt pay out the tickets, we still had a blast. Their combo deals on tokens and meals are awesome and she even won almost 3000 tickets. Well worth the money and looking forward to making this a weekly thing. Hope the play p
A great classic arcade with batting cages and mini putt!
My family and I had so much fun here. Our grand daughter enjoyed mini golf with all the animals. The games were fun and we won a lot of tickets. The service was great and the workers were friendly and helpful
My daughter and I had a mommy and daughter day and went to Vince's today (memorial day wknd) and we had tons of fun....like we always do. It's such a great place that the kid's can enjoy and have fun! If u haven't gone....u gotta check it out! We always go so we will definitely be back.
We went with our family to play mini golf. I thought it was the best time we've ever had. The course was fun, there were (living) animals around, bull frogs and rabbits. There was a mulberry tree with ripe mulberries at one of the holes (yum). We took pictures with the animal statues that were at the holes. Also, in the summer, this would be a great option because the course is very shady. There was a BOGO coupon online that we used. The employees were helpful. Good time.
1st time there and was an enjoyable experience. They have a handful of activities - 3 par golf, mini golf, batting cages, and an arcade. Would definitely return!
The kids (12,11,9) had SO MUCH FUN! All the games worked & the staff was incredibly friendly. The kids loved the physical tokens & receiving the physical tickets vs using "game cards" at other establishments. The prices were not overly expensive & it was a great trip for the scorching hot summer day! We will definitely be back!
Nice selection of arcade machines, especially as they've added many new ones in the past few years. Love the minigolf course. It's a big one and well shaded so you don't get too hot in summer. Also has a nice Par 3 golf course in back. Has indoor batting cages, and a playground and party area for the kids too. People that work there are usually pretty friendly. Been going there since I was a kid.
Visited for a kids birthday party. Putt putt was a little run down, but the kids had fun. Small but decent selection of arcade games, staff was friendly and nice. I think the main attraction is the batting cages, but I didn't try them. For young kids or baseball practice, I think it's good value for money.
We had a good time playing chip and Putt.. decent batting cages and they have air hockey It's a bit dingy but in a very charming way.
Fun place to take my 4 year old. The play park is less than $3 and they have a ballpit with slides. Lots of fun! The only downside is that machines that are not working properly are not labeled so it's only after you deposit your coins that you know they don't work. I've never complained to management about this for one reason. When I bought up an issue I was having with one of the teens that work there,he could care less! Lol. I get that vibe each time I go but for $20 or less it continues to be worth it
I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for that feeling of going back into 1985 in a good way and hitting the batting cages and enjoying some good old-fashioned mini golf there's no better place. The price is awesome, you can get a pizza and play video games. It has everything you would want to hang for the afternoon with your family and still not break the budget.
Had a great time!! Good place to take the kiddos!!
There for grand daughters birthday. Rented batting cage for teen agers and young adults. Staff was very nice and helpful. All around great atmosphere.
Much improved. Have been back quite a few times since first rating. Take my daughter and friends for softball batting. They play games sometimes. The snacks: funnel cake fries, pretzels, pizza are pretty good as well. 1st review Pretty good for the cost. Had kids birthday party there. Not very crowded in play area. pizza, not bad. Only problems: it was.cold , couldn't take jackets off, and wet near door, no mats to wipe feet and aborsb water, snow. One child, slipped and fell and knocked another down.
I LOVE this place, nothing else like it in Newark. Great games, ball pit for the kids, pizza, the best dang giant cookies (and the are baked there!). I go there all the time with my family, even my 2 year old loves it. The selection of prizes is awesome and always changing. The owner always welcomes us with a huge smile. It's just excellent, worth the trip. Especially for the amazing mini golf!!! Check it out everyone!!!!!!
Two fun, but easy mini golf courses and lots of arcade games to play.
My best friend had a party for her kids here and a huge part of her choice to book and pay that much money was contingent on the person she spoke with promising certain things were possible, including dairy free options for my kids who cannot have dairy. The exact person who was the booker of the party was there at the time of the party and he said there were no notes indicating a special need only to discover he was the one to make the promise. By this time my husband has been charged for our promised acco
Used to come here when I was a kid. Now I take my children (6&7) here and they love it. So glad we have a cool little family friendly establishment like this in our town. Twenty bucks and the kids can play in the indoor play area and get tokens to play on all the cool retro arcade games and ticket games. The prize counter ticket values are reasonable. Prices for the snack bar are reasonable, putt putt golf is a nice little time killer on nice day. The staff is always friendly and patient with the kids. Only
My daughter wanted to come here for her B-Day and had a blast. A lot of the games are pretty good for the asking price which is anywhere from 2-4 tokens per game. The play area is a good way to work up a apatite and for the kids to get their exercise. The only thing I would change is the token deals and to lower some of their ticket prizes. All on all it was pretty cool!
Very affordable mini golf, but courses are not well-maintained. There were lots of sticks, twigs, and leaves on the course which added some extra challenges. We still had fun, and the staff were very kind.
Decided to venture here with our 2 toddlers one day. They had a blast! Prices were reasonable, had a climbing section for younger kids, the games were nostalgic for me ( They had Gauntlet!!), and snacks to feed our hungry kids. It is a place to have a fun few hours with the family.
My daughter came up for the summer, and we visited Vince's for mini golf and the arcade. She had a great time, wants to go back!
Went for the mini gold. Good price, but it needs to be redone. The animals need to be repaired and painted. A lot of the hole numers were missing or fading away no water was on. Also lots of leaves and twigs on the green. I think it was great and could be again. It just needs TLC
Great place to get the kids out of the house for a bit to swing some bats hit some balls, and play some arcade games and even win some tickets for prizes. Very inexpensive also.
Owner threatened to tow my car and kicked me off the par 3.. went at 9am the sign was off and dark inside.. went to course to play. Spoke to groundskeeper.. stated website says Course at 9am inside at 10am? Vince was having a morning I guess.. have paid at 10am when they open for years.. have pulled on locked doors at 9am so many times.. thought nothing of it.. he was angry.. I apologized for the misunderstanding he asked me to leave.. I had to tell the group of people I was meeting there I wasn't allowed t
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
