Village Square Arcade

Reviews Summary

This arcade is generally well-loved for its fun, modern vibe and good selection of games, including pinball machines and interactive titles. Many appreciate the attached pool hall, reasonable pricing ($1 per play), and drink options. The 80s-inspired decor adds charm. However, some criticize the limited classic game selection, occasional cover charges, and unfriendly staff. While most rate it highly (5 stars), a few note drawbacks like unclear policies or overpriced drinks. Customer Reviews

It's a nice and cozy little spot, with a good selection of arcade games and pinball machines. Though, I do wish there were some more classic titles in there instead of it all being the same titles put out by Raw Thrills (no offense).

Very fun, modern, small arcade. Has its own bar and a decent selection of games for the size. Not bad pricing with games being $1 a play. Would definitely come back if I was from the area.

So much fun! Many interactive games to play as well as all time favorites. Pool tables, air hockey, NASCAR racing, snowboard racing, motorcycle racing and pinballs. Good selection of non alcoholic and alcohol drinks. Love the decor that is reminiscent of the arcades of the 80s. We will be back!

The staff is unfriendly, if they so happen to be playing terrible music they have a cover charge of 10 dollars to access the other side of their establishment. They have two bars the first one when you walk in only has mixed drinks and bottled beer. If you were hoping for a draft on certain evenings you'll have to pay their fee or drink terribly over priced bottled beverages. They don't clearly mark when the cover charge is in effect so you might end up getting harassed for being unaware of their terrible b

This arcade is awesome with some really nice pinball machines, arcade games a pool hall attached. Great hangout spot.

Lots of games and it even has its own pool hall attached to it. Tons of claw games ones you can even win. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Love it! I love the pinball machines. It's a great space.

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed this place we played pool for about 2 hours was a lot cheaper than where we usually go.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
