The kids love this place. On weekdays it is BOGO for all races and if you don't use all of them, you can use them a different day. Also, the snack bar actually has pretty good food. It is typical bar food, but really pretty good.

Ohhh this place was so much fun and the food was very good as well. My family and I had a blast. We will definitely be back.

My brother has been coming here for years and now our 13 year old has started racing here and LOVES it! Everything is always so clean and well maintained. The organization is smooth for large leagues and the restaurant is amazing! I haven't met anyone yet, that isn't smiling and seems happy to be there.

We went to Victory Lane Indoor Karting for my daughter's birthday, and even though we've been before, I've decided to finally write a review. You do have the option of having a birthday party here, but it's more so for kids and not teenagers. They have an area where you can have your party and still do all the activities available. They don't do reservations anymore just for go-karting; it's first come, first serve, which is fine, just know that the wait can be a while. Fortunately for us, we visited on a

Went for a lunchtime race for a Bachelor trip and we had so much fun. Chatted with the GM for a while and had beers in the restaurant. Could have stayed all day playing in the arcade if we didn't have plans elsewhere. Super fun spot for kids and adults

Once I found the front side of the sketchy looking warehouse with a small sign and small drive around from the loading docks.. it was a fun time celebrating a friend! We recommend VR ghost busters or zombies, with the vibration chest vest! It would be cool if playing air hockey or other games like that also gave you some tickets? and the racing is a thrill once you get the hang of the curves!

Lots of great options. Great place to spend an afternoon!

I liked this place a lot. The Go-Karts run by gasoline power, which means they run fast. They have 8 minutes track time. Also, you'll need to pay some fees about $10 for annual admission. Definitely, we will go back again. I'm only giving 4 stars BECAUSE THE RESTROOM WAS VEEY VERY VERY VERY DISGUSTING. The arcade game area is good enough to kill sometimes before your race. The girls at the front desk are super helpful

Victory Lane is a fun establishment. The workers made it fun and exciting to race. Before they let you sit in a go-kart they explained and prioritized safety. They ensured that all drives knew the difference between the brake and gas pump. Overall it was a great experience that I recommend to anyone.

The people at the front desk were very rude. One person was eating food while behind the counter. Only one person was working, while 3 other people were laughing and playing around holding a conversation while a very big group of people came in. No one was helping or even directing people on what to do or where to go. This was our first time visiting this place and my first experience was horrible. After the ONLY person that was working advised that the line started somewhere else because the other employe

Absolute terrible customer service. The cart attendants literally laughed at my small children because this was their first time driving and they needed better orientation, which none was provided. There was one kart attendant, caucasian early 20's, taller with dark hair and a beard who was particularly rude and condescending toward the kids. After spending hundreds of dollars to race at a track where there are dozens of competitors in this space, I would highly recommend going somewhere else. There are a l

We had a great time this weekend at Victory Lane in Charlotte , great food and staff super friendly and a great time with lots of activities to offer . Chill af. Only issues is that no kids can do dart throwing !

I had a blast going here with a few friends during their promotional 1/2 off days for the gokarts. It was a lot of fun and worth the cost. If I would have paid double for what I experienced, I wouldn't be nearly as thrilled about the price. We tried a few arcade games, the classics and they were all enjoyable. The vr did look fun but the price was a bit steep for us. The place was very clean and well kept. I constantly saw the people there cleaning different things. They also clean each head sock after use

The customer service was great. They answered any and all our questions we had. The blue go kart track was fun. The prices were very reasonable. They have lots of activities such as go-karts, bowling, axe throwing, arcades, vr gaming and eating. We plan to visit again in the future.

T'was great fun go-karting. Kids were allowed to only ride with other kids and not race, which was safer for them. There is also a gaming arcade, which was reasonably priced. And we also did the escape room. Now those rooms did have a bit of a scare with sudden noises that we didn't expect in the wizards room . It was a great experience overall..

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Awesome experience!

Mason and Aiden were absolutely phenomenal They helped us out and treated us with such good service! Even after the girl that answered, the phone was rude. We would still definitely come back because of them!!

Fun place to go and enjoy carting. Their carts are fast and safe. Tracks are fun and challenging. It is pretty pricy for the amount of time you have on the track. Additionally, their helmets and neck restraints could defiantly use replacing.

H-ll No. What an ordeal!! Just to race you must be a member. The whole process is Very Very disorganized. The entire place is nauseating. The staff at the front are friendly. The others are not they ignore the patrons walking by not saying hello, definitely not smiling, not welcoming any of the paying Members!! Why are they all so miserable?. Victory Lane is really great for adults after a few drinks and a few races they get loud, vulgar and rowdy and its just not a kid friendly place despite the arcade an

It was fun! But sadly not an affordable activity long term since it's $34 ($10 mandatory membership fee, $24 for 1 race) for 8 minutes of driving

No matter if you're training to become an actual race car driver, or just want to zoom and have fun, this place is the spot! The tracks are fun, and really challenge your ability to corner. The staff are friendly and the karts are fast! Only drawback is that it's a bit on the expensive side, and it's a first-come-first-serve, but it's not a long wait. (P.S. the carts are petrol powered ??)

Super fun experience! All the staff are very nice and informative, there's an arcade, VR experience, axe throwing, and bar. The bartenders are amazing, friendly, and experienced. The building is clean and up kept. The carts are a little scary at first but once you get the hang of it it's super fun! 10/10 I keep bringing new friends

I had a fun experience here for a work outing. These go carts are no joke, reaching top speeds of close to 45mph. I did get t boned four times, which is frowned upon, as your not supposed to hit each other, but just letting you know, it does hurt. I like the adrenaline and competition, though. Staff were professional and helpful.

Great place to go for family fun or competition with friends. We're regulars here and they definitely treat us like it. Great time and a lot of fun

It was a very fun ride ! There will be a first time registration fee $10. Each race is 8min. Single race is $20 .Double ,triple and five races are $40,$50,$55 respectively. After the race we can play hand football and throw bag for free. Neat restrooms and restaurant . Bowling and video game are also available

Victory Lane: Where Speed Meets ExcitementI We recently visited Victory Lane, an indoor go-kart track and entertainment center, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the go-karts. Unlike many places that offer electric karts, these were gas-powered, delivering an exhilarating speed and adrenaline rush as we zoomed around the track. What made the experience even better was the fact that we arrived early, allowing us to have the track mostly to ourselves

We had the best time! Caira was so helpful and accommodating for our work. I'm lost for words to express how much fun we all had and that never happens.

Great indoor fun and food. Would definitely visit again and recommend. Features go-karts, axe throwing, arcade, v-r, escape rooms, and more, plus a bar that serves alcohol

Friendly staff. Watch our granddaughter carting here. These are gas carts. Two different race tracks indoors. There is a food bar, have only purchased coffee.

Went there last week for corporate event, everything looked good until there was a time for riding. After riding first 6 minutes I got sick from fumes and had to leave so ventilation is far from being adequate. Also ruined pair of good pants. Cart I was riding was squirting engine oil that got on my pants. That tells me that they don't perform regular maintenance on their carts, which may become a safety issue. Several of my colleagues expressed same concerns. So if you can deal with horrible fumes do not w

The food is pretty awesome! The steak and chicken sandwiches are worth the trip. Highly recommend. Plus, tons of fun stuff for kids and adults.

Super fun, but definitely a learning curve because the concrete is so slippery. As typical with these tracks, there are very fast people mixed with very slow people. There are also lots of fun activities to do while you wait for your race time.

1 Star My wife and I visited Victory Lanes Go Karting for her birthday, and it was a complete disappointment. From the start, there was no clear guidance on how to order food and only after asking staff were we told how. After purchasing tickets for go-karting and an escape room, we went to the escape rooms as instructed. Despite waiting in front of the rooms for 15 minutes as directed, another guest found staff and jumped ahead of us. When it was time for our scheduled race, we waited patiently, only to

The staff was great! The arcade was great and the wait is not bad at all. A little pricey but worth it!

Great place with fun activities. All in one fun family spot. Virtual reality, escape room, axe throwing, arcade, and indoor go carts! Oh yea and the wings are fire!! Escape room was super fun!

My son and I had such a great time. We participated in the 8-minute race. We had so much fun until I ran into the wall and spun out.

Staff and food are fantastic, and I had lots of fun w co-workers. They were friendly and very accommodating to our needs, from info about drinks to safety around the tracks.

this was the worse experience of karting i?ve ever had!!! When we first walked in, we didn't even get a ?hey, how are yall doing? & they were sitting right at the front desk just looking. $68 for 2 people is overrated!!! especially since we didn't get a good service. Then we get to the back, they dudes just standing around talking looking at us like we're invisible. I was about to go get my own helmet!! After we finished racing, we didn't even get a ?have a good day? or ?how was the experience? HIGHLY DONT

Great track! Very organized... my daughters enjoyed our time there too. They have a friendly staff, decent food that is reasonably priced, awesome bartender Brooke & cook. We will be back. I enjoyed the tap beers. They also have special on Sundays & Mon thru Thu before 6 pm for racing. Great spot for a girls night, birthday party or corporate event!

I took my son and several of his friends for his 11th birthday. It was a blast! They all did the slower track first then we moved up to the faster track! Exciting for sure! The staff was very helpful and fun.

My sister had a birthday here and it was a perfect mix of family fun and adult friendly atmosphere. You have to pay for a one time membership of $10 annually and the prices are listed on their website. I also did the VR experience. My group enjoyed our time here, I will definitely come back again to beat my high score of third place ??????

They made me look at WE ARE FORSAKEN WE ARE FORSAKEN. And other. I was not fast as the other racers like vro I ain't a NFT driver I AM NOT. Anyways I got 1k tickets at the arcade so I plead that happens again and that's uh. It

Great owners! The owners are so kind and are always contributing to the community. I played darts and rode carts and had the very best time. My girls enjoyed themselves immensely. I would encourage everyone to go!!

The Victory Lane indoor Karting was a good place for our family outing. We were going to have a family race, but we were unable to due to the age differences. I totally understand that safety is their biggest concern. So our youngest son rode by himself. This was his first time riding at this place, so he was very serious. Our son made sure he had his helmet on correctly. He made sure he understood the hand signals from the employees at the racetrack. Each time around the track, he beat his previous score.

Was not good the tracks are very short and have too much people running at once. The workers seem like they don't care that much and we didn't want to risk it.

This was a very fun experience. I've taken both my son and nephew for their birthday and they both had a ball! Highly recommend. There's bowling, 2 racetracks, a game room, Ax throwing (have not tried yet) and a cafe to eat.

Overall it's a good place Just make sure you check your helmet latch and Buckle seatbelt yourself Because they don't check yours

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS. Got severe whiplash and a chest bruise from the seatbelt, after hitting the sides of the track. Visiting the doctor as soon as i get an appointment. - No pre training or safety lesson before riding the carts. - No one checks to see if you have the helmet and the seatbelt properly attached. - Crowded race track with multiple turns and 12 racers. - First come first serve mixed groups including experienced racers. One of the guys was literally wearing a race suit.

I went here for a team bonding event and I had a great time. The staff was incredibly nice and for go karts they were very fast. You do also have to wear a sock and a helmet. The place does have a $10 membership, which you do have to pay yearly up front. It is pricey per race, but it was well worth the fun.

Had a blast! It was on triple D. Go carts super fast!! Food really good and amazing staff.

Great place, fast cars, well organized. Beside karts, large arcade play area , and a bar. We played VR today too

We love this place! Our son races on league night, and we've come several times to race outside of that. The karts are fantastic, the food is great, and there's a ton to do here.

Had a great time there!! It was ladies day which means I paid $5 because my hubby paid full price. I also got a military discount on the license fee which was another plus. There are two tracks, blue and orange. The orange track seemed to be more cut throat and manly than the blue but I enjoyed both of them. There is no bumping allowed and they are serious about the rules. 8 out of the 10 people in the group I was in was removed from the race early because they failed to follow the rules...luckily I wasn't

Went for our 14 year old sons birthday. He had a blast!!

Amazing food, and a ton of things to do while you wait for your race. You can spend a decent chunk of your day here without realizing it.

Super fast carts & superb video game parlor. Didn't have a chance to try the food ??

Great indoor karting with 2 tracks to choose from or try both. Good for casual and serious racers both. Great bar and food menu as well, which will surprise you. Been here 3-4 times with company groups and a few friends.

Took my daughter and her best friend for her birthday ! It was the first time any of us had been there ! We all absolutely LOVED it ! We had a blast ! Especially this Mom that has a need for speed !!! Great fast karts !! Also enjoyed the arcade and restaurant ! Food and service was great from the moment we walked through the door !! We will be back!!

Cool spot . Don't normally see indoor gas karts . Had a good time , track is nice and tight

Love this place. I can finally put the pedal to the metal and drive like a race car drive

My family had a great time here! Staff were great from the moment we checked in, to the others who made sure they were safe and comfortable while racing. We ate at the bar and grill and had great service, plus the food was amazing! This was our first time coming here and we will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely fantastic for my son's 15th birthday party. There was hardly no wait.. Staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a birthday party for their son.

My son loves this track layout, the staff, and the food. This is the best indoor-karting track in the Charlotte area. Being right of the interstate feeling a little road rage. Drive in and burn it off. Race Leagues or just racing against your ghost. This is the place

Was an ok experience. The prices were higher thank id expect but we enjoyed the experience.

Our entire group (ages 12 to 60) had soooo much fun here!!! We raced 4 laps and had a blast! They have 2 different tracks, one slightly easier than the other, both very fun! We also played foosball and ate at the restaurant! Surprisingly everything we ordered was very fresh and tasty! I highly recommend Victory Lane for an afternoon or evening of excitement!!

Amazing place, so much fun! Incredible go carts, a bowling alley, surprising food, video games and more!

A great place for family and friends to have fun. GO let go of some stress or let your hair down and act like a kid again. Really enjoyed this place. We will be back!

Tons of fun! Went ax throwing with friends for the first time! Not as easy as you would think. Great bar! Bowling! Fast go karts! Good time

It's not a positive experience. I took my nephews here, and I am out of state and we were required to pay a mandatory fee for membership and when I said "No" and "let me speak to the manager" the manager took a while and never came. The employee there was extremely rude and cursed at us when we said we don't want to do the races, and we decided to leave! I highly advise management to take action on the employee, the young kid that you have hired and does not know customer service or have any respect, espec

Andrew greeted us with a smile and provided plenty of information about the fun to be had...and oh what fun we had!!! We even forgot to take pics! We will be back soon! Arcade, bowling, go karting, food and a bar - how can you go wrong?!?!

We had a great time! Our vendor Southeast Automated Systems treated our company Allison Fence! Thank you SAS !

Oh what fun it is to ride and sing, go karting here tonight, ??lol

Great Atmosphere and the staff is always helpful. My wife and I love having our date nights here. Always good to plan ahead on busy seasons of dates. All in all great place!

WHEN AND IF YOU ARE IN CHARLOTTE, NC VISIT Victory Lane Indoor Karting was an amazing family experience!!! There is so much more to do than just drive go karts. They have bowling, VR Gaming, Axe Throwing, Arcade, Food Court/Restaurants to eat, etc... There is literally something to for every member of the family. It's also a good way to pass time by thru the day its so much to do!!!

Nice place to take family and friends. Lots to do, proving is a bit insane for virtual darts. The arcade games are reasonably priced. The food is solid, especially the buffalo chicken wrap and fries. Drinks are good as well.

We just went in for the bar and to look around. Lexi, great bartender, was super helpful for us Charlotte visitors. The place looks amazing for families and groups. Indoor carting, arcade, escape room, bar with adult dart games and are throwing all under one roof!

I had so much fun me and my family are going to return again ??

Great establishment. Not the best I've been to (a place in Spartanburg has a better track layout and longer races) but the food is good and the staff talk and act like they know what they're doing. You get WAY better prices for more laps, so come only if you're willing to do 4 races for $55 as opposed to only 1 for $20.

2nd time going. Its a fun place.

TOP NOTCH Birthday Party Experience Staff was responsive, quick with pricing and great answering questions. They took care of everything! Crew of 11 year old boys had a BLAST. Party setup and food exceeded expectations. Amanda, our party coordinator, did a great job handling excited boys and had every detail considered in advance. Space was clean and process was efficient. Best decision: paying for the extra 3rd race. By then boys had picked up some confidence and were ready to RACE!!

The food: we ordered the chicken nachos, they were okay. We ordered 2 sodas as well and the staff were so overwhelmed with customers that they weren't able to get them to us until we went back to the bar after we'd eaten. The escape room: one room, which is okay. It was $10 a person for 10 minutes in the room (they don't tell you the amount of time it's for before you buy). We waited longer in line to get the tickets and ask an employee to help us than we did in the room. We got tickets and then went to th

This place is tucked back in the industrial area. Its worth going by yourself or family day out. The staff is friendly, shout out to the front desk girl from Poconos. Super nice with explanations and pleasant attitude. Thanks for taking your time with my family today. Go Karts (indoor) two tracks. The guys that run the track are nice and keep and eye on the track the entire team. They are quick to respond to a stopper or wall crasher. They are quick to explain the flags again in case you forgot. The trip

Great staff, my family had a great time.

Very cool place my son had a great time

Very nice place. Plenty to do when you're waiting on your time.

Definitely a place to return to. VR, arcades and Go-Karts. The trifecta of fun Tried axe throwing, I'm definitely hooked!

Visited here (precovid) and highly enjoyed my experience. I had a ball!

Fun spot, lots of different activities to choose from and a very friendly and helpful staff. The food was decent too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
