Customer Reviews

We were so excited to learn about this place in downtown Blue Ridge. I brought my teen daughter to play pinball machines. It was $12 per person per hour, but there were other ways to play and I'm sorry I didn't note all of the purchase options. They provide you with a wristband once you pay and you scan that to be able to play unlimited. It looked like a fun bar and restaurant and several people were having birthday parties there while we were there. Looks like an extensive bar and a good place to watch a g

I had a good time! I didn't eat but played some pinball games as well as Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and Donkey Kong. I will definitely be back in the future.

Lots of fun arcade games and pinball machines with both classic and contemporary themes! $12 per person for each hour of play, and some of the classic games are free.

I love pinball, and this place has them. There were a few new machines like king Kong by stern, only sad thing was they were all pro so no upgrades. Still has a blast. Only a few of the machines needed some maintenance l, but that is understandable due to their age.

After doing a dramatic reading of a 1-star review left for Vertigo Pinball by an unreasonable customer I decided I had to support this place. The owner and staff were so nice and friendly! Such a brilliant pinball bar they have built. Well maintained machines and a simple system of payment for play - just scan a wristband - first time seeing that for pinball. Great selection of machines also, as the owner is clearly a Pinball aficionado. Set the high score on Medieval Madness while having an excellent porte

This was a really cool find! Unlimited Pinball for $12/hr and the person at the front was super nice. I definitely think there should be a sign in the bathroom for men to have better aim... But that's something from careless patrons, and just requires the staff to mop every other hour. Otherwise this place was a neat way to spend and hour pressing buttons and trying pinball. Highly recommend.

A perfect hybrid of pinball and bar. Plenty for the kids to do while the adults enjoy a ballgame at the bar (or also enjoy pinball). The best service in town, NA beers available, and tasty food as well. We will always return to Vertigo!

I stand by my original review?it was honest and fair, with both positive and negative feedback. I want to clarify that I did not change my order. None of us ordered burgers either. I did have to ask for an unbroken fork. Neither my mom nor I enjoyed our meals. My son was the only one who liked his food, and I mentioned that because I wanted to be fair. I even complimented your frozen drinks because they were genuinely good. If including a couple of positive points in a 2-star review "ruined your day," tha

Although basic, dressed with only cheese, mustard, pickles, and their signature Vertigo sauce, the Awesome Burger was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The tots were cooked perfectly, and I mean literally perfect, crispy crust with soft hot inside. The same could be said for the chicken tenders. The batter wad flavorful and the chicken was cooked well, but still juicy. I enjoyed my meal at Vertigo Pinball

Their new location provides a lot more room, which is nice. They have added some machines. They have a pretty good tap beer selection, and their smash burgers are actually pretty tasty!

I spent around $55 for 3 "meals" & drinks. 1 of them were the pepperoni & grilled cheese with fries (uncharted for fries since I don't like chips) & 1 was same with chips. 3rd was just grilled cheese & chips. 2 virgin piniacolodas & 1 virgin strawberry for drinks. I didn't get the pickle or slaw that the other 2 meals got (even though I paid more), & I didn't get a fork. For 3 meals, we were handed 1 BROKEN fork. There was attitude from the lady cleaning the tables from the moment we walked in. I saw menus

I had fun. Food was fine. Prices were good. Pinball was a blast and priced well. I'll be back! Negatives? Hot as crap in there. It was cooler on the shaded patio. Which has tables and was a great option that we were happy to utilize.

The best smash burger I've ever had! Awesome perfectly crispy edges! Great family atmosphere, lots of stuff to do. Finally something fun to do in downtown Blue Ridge! Really convenient downtown location. Pinball by the hour. Craft beers, great food, well maintained pinball machines. All in great working order l, no weak flippers. Great Merchandise for sale, small tables for eating and a small patio outside. Easy access to everything downtown, convenient central location Machines are on free play, you pay b

The staff was incredible. We used to go to the smaller location but i think this is a great space for them. Kids played pinball while we snacked and drank some beers. I definitely recommend trying the beer cheese. Some of the best i have had in a long time.

$12 pinball for an hour / $20 all day & plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from. The smashburgers are one of the best in town!!!

This place is amazing. The burgers are incredible and priced so reasonably I could have eaten 3 of them .... although I had to stop at 1.5... The staff is fab and the location an vibes are top notch. I have no clue what is up with that 1 star reviewer - my experience was fab, and I bet yours will be as well.

I recently visited Vertigo Pinball, and while the food was enjoyable, the overall experience did not meet expectations. The service was slower than anticipated, with the staff appearing overwhelmed, leading to extended wait times. A significant distraction during our visit was the presence of children running around and slamming their hands on the pinball machines, leaving drinks in holders, and not moving around to other games, which created a chaotic atmosphere and made it difficult to fully immerse in t

We went in Friday evening to get their burger, the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The burger is perfect! There is a nice patio to dine and watch the scenery if your not into pinball!

$12 to play all the pinball machines you want. Don't typically play with my son because it's too expensive but for $20.02 people can play for an hour. We showed up at 7:20 and the staff stayed up until 830 just for us to play. I read a comment earlier about people putting drinks on the pinball machines. Give me a break there's a cupholders on every single pinball machine in there. And if you're that inconsiderate to put a drink on the pinball machine, you should be yelled at. We will be coming back often.

Had so much fun playing Pinball! Many different games to choose from. Unlimited play per hour. Great for adults and kids.

The gentleman who seemed to be in charge because he looks like the logo of the place, was very rude. My fianc?s drink was on the pinball machine because there wasn't a cup holder near her and he said us if we wanted to pay the cleaning fee. He said there were cup holders for drinks at the machines but there were none near us to be found and the ones we did see, they were being used. A whole other family ordered a pizza from the place next door and came in and ate that but no words were said. We will not be

We love Vertigo Pinball!! I cannot think of a better spot to take your family or friends to. Whether you are visiting Blue Ridge or live there full time, its guaranteed fun for all ages! Sip on some $5 dollar mimosas and enjoy a delicious sandwich while you or your kids play, play, play! Their staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and did I mention unlimited pinball for only $20?!

What a great addition to Blue Ridge! Something great for the kids and the whole family. I can get wristbands for my kids and I to play all day or just for a few hours. They also have great food and a wide selection of beer. And sports on tv at the bar If you are needing a break, they have a back patio that looks over the railroad too! This is the only family friendly venue in town! Try it out!

Great new location! Amazing burgers and the tots has some awesome seasoning. The lady who's working, I did not get her name, but she had long, black hair was very attentive and also cool and collected as they were super busy when we got there. Our 12 year old had a lot of fun with the selection of pinball games.

Beer is good, recommend eating on deck. Food is average. Pinball machines for the kids; bar for the adults. Will come again.

Amazepinballs!!!! Best idea for a bar that I have found in a decade. Great people, great beer, kid friendly, great food, and incredible selection of old and new pinball machines. A must go-to place during your visit in the Blue Ridge. Can't wait to come back.

Called vertigo with inquiries about pinball machine repairs. Extremely nice and helpful! Thanks for helping me out! They do pinball machine repairs but are backed up!

One of the best burgers I've ever had. If you're in Blue Ridge, try this place out. Make sure to grab a Blood Mary while you're there!

Just visiting and was a fun place for the kids to play and adults to drink. There's also food but we didn't have any. If you're really into beers, they have a good variety of some local brews to try, including hard cider.

Unbelievable smash burger, great service. And the pinball games don't even require coins, just credit cards. Awesome experience. Check it out.

First time visiting. My family and I enjoyed the pinball machines.

We didn't eat there but the atmosphere is so much better than the last location. Lots of room and lots of light.

Pinball vertigo, this place is an absolute paradise! 20$ all you can play pinball?. With more machines you can physically play in a day! Any other place I have to pay 1$ for EACH game. Amazing drink menu with unique drinks that match the pinball machines. Delicious food with a menu to satisfy anybody. MASSIVE TVs for hanging out at the bar and watching some sports. Lastly, the staff is so kind and inviting, such sweet group of people that run and own the business. Only complaint is that thanks to this place

Great spot for pinball! Very unique for North Georgia. Great collection of tables all in very good shape ranging from old school to some of the newest new. Pay by the hour and lots of local draft beer (plus good selections of wine and cider too!)

All the pinball machines worked great. Fantastic atmosphere. Definitely will be returning.

The food was miserable. The buffalo wrap was sad. It only had chicken. No lettuce or blue cheese as mentioned. It was also very small. The food was just meh. Just play pinball as the food is not great.

Family fun for just $12/hour of unlimited pinball & lots of machines to choose from! Nice small bites menu & CLEAN bathroom. They even have stools for lil kids to reach & play the machines. Had a blast & will be back!

Large selection of pinball machines. Im no expert, but there were several I really enjoyed. Great beer, awesome food, we had the chicken pesto sandwich. The staff was friendly and helpful. We played unlimited and we had a blast. The one hour the screaming children were there running around was not ideal, but I blame their parents for that. Too bad there's not a "polite" way to let people know their kids are annoying. We will be back next time we visit Blue Ridge.

Good food and atmosphere! Be cool if you could call in and order food but they NEVER answer the phone. If you don't do to go orders just say it.

Great place to stop on a Bachelorette trip! So many pinball options and everyone loved the sangria! Wonderful, friendly staff. Must visit while in Blue Ridge! We loved it so much, we returned a second day.

I love pinball. I really like some of the newer games, there is one medieval one that was super fun, and I also love the old ones that are real analog parts and give the nice tactile thumps everywhere. The only issue is some of the machines don't work, and I had two balls get stuck in the tables. That being said they will come and help you pretty readily but if you only pay for an hour it's annoying to have them come over and fix something. I almost wish there wasn't a time choice and it was all just play a

I hate to have to do this review i am posting it here because they deleted my review on facebook my wife and i went dec 28 around 1130ish we come from over a hour away i paid for a hour of play and didnt even stay the hole hour so many of the machines had 2 3 and 4 players logged in and just left like that if you are trying to play for high scores it is hard to play like that and there were several small kids running around beating on these machines smacking the glass and all i dont know about you but if i

We didn't eat here so I'm not rating the food. Fun arcade with mostly pinball and a few old school arcade games. $12/hour of unlimited play and they serve beer, soft drinks and some food items. I rated 4 stars on atmosphere because it felt a bit crowded and machines are very close together and also I think the place could benefit from a couch or some comfy seating for relaxing between games. There are bar stools and few tables. Overall fun place and I'd recommend stopping in.

I see multiple reviews saying this isn't a family friendly place or good for kids, but I've come with my girls on two different occasions now. On our most recent vacation to see family this was the place they asked to return to. The staff is great, the prices are super affordable, and the atmosphere is great. My only complaint (though it's maybe unfair, so more of a suggestion, not a complaint) is that I wish there more arcade games to break it up. But it's a pinball bar, not an arcade bar, so the four ar

What a great time we had with the kids. My daughter hit 117k on the Buccaneer and loved it. They opened on Memorial Day 2021 and the place is packed. It's $15 for all day pinball per person and you get an arm band. They've got good beer, wine and sangria (some food but we didn't try since it was pre-dinner) and will hold a tab open for you. Definitely a place to come back to.

Great location. Good variety of new and old machines. Pinball and beer. Can't get any better.

A great place to go sit at the bar and let your children run around screaming for a couple hours. Not the best for playing a few casual tables with a beer. A good 20% of the machines don't work properly, but the children don't care.

$12/hr for pinball is a bit much but the food is delicious!

Fun little spot! Hotdogs are great, nice selection of beers, and staff is friendly. The pinballs are fun to play. Just what we needed in downtown Blue Ridge!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Blue Ridge. Great location, great food, and awesome atmosphere. There is a good 20 pinball and other gaming machines that you can use by paying for an hour pass, well worth it! The food is also unique and is reasonably priced, which is not something you always get in a tourist town like Blue Ridge. Would recommend for anyone to visit!

Went with my family to play games, had a blast. I was super happy to have a fun place to bring my little one to play pinball and old school arcade games. Definitely coming back.

Smash burgers to die for. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and AMAZING burgers. Highly recommended

They have an awesome collection of pinball machines. Excellent selection of craft beers and more. So much fun? my mind was blown! Made me feel like a kid again.

Great food- Casey was great and very welcoming! Pinball games were really neat- some older vintage games and then newer Mandalorian one was cool!

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Beer selection was...boring. Very disappointed with the pinball. If you're an experienced player, you'll know machines are set too steep, default settings changed to player disadvantage, outlanes widened, etc. It's a shame for new players as they are so unlikely to find a love for the game.

Had a really good lunch with drinks from the tap. Got the kids an hour of pinball. They'd never played before so it was a fun experience for everyone!

Pricing information is not on their website. It said to go to their Facebook page. Pricing isn't listed there either. Can't plan the weekend without knowing what it'll cost. I tried calling four separate times and it rang for about 10 minutes before I hung up. You should probably just put seasonal prices on the website and when they'll change.

We came here twice while we were in blue ridge. Good selection of pinball for a reasonable price!! We had a blast and of course enjoyed the selection of craft beers.

If you are in the area you have to get to this place! 20+ pinball machines, beer on tap and some of the best vintage ones I've seen.

It's the best bang for your buck once you get off the train. The corner patio is nice for mimosas and local beer

Boy does this guy know pinball! Great selection of games, especially since the expansion in the new location! Strives to have the newest machines, and runs a killer league every week!

We went in with our small children just to check out the place and grab some beer. The owner was very rude and came up to kick the kids off the machine. We were making sure the kids were not playing or taking away from other customers. When he came up to us; he immediately came up with an attitude and hostile. In the meantime, his wife was taking pictures of my son. When I asked him about the pictures he got in my face and told me she didn't take a picture and with a lot of attitude told me did I want to ch

One of the go to places in town. Owner is very friendly and informative!

Me and my wife stopped here over the weekend and we were very excited to play the pinball games. The owners of the establishment were very nice and welcoming. Their selection of pinball games is amazing from old to new! They severe alcohol, and will be serving food pretty soon. We can't wait to go back!

Very unique experience. The menu is a little smaller than some places but the food is amazing! They have so many pinball machines to play. I wish my hometown had a place like this. I would recommend EVERYONE to stop by for a visit.

What an awesome place to play pinball, have some drinks and eat one hell of an awesome hotdog!!! The staff was super friendly and the owners as well! I've never been one to go and play pinball but I have to say it was a nice change to do something completely different. Get their early if you want the best chance to park close!

This is one of the coolest bars I've ever been to! Beer, bar food, and pinball! Lots of pinball! Seriously who could ask for anything more? Staff are super nice as well. If you're in downtown Blue Ridge this place is a must! Oh and they're kid-friendly too!

Fun and a decent selection of machines, but not as entertaining as the pinball "museums" we have visited. It's basically a bar with pinball machines and when we visited there were too many people playing and some machines never became available to play. Also, they only have 3 arcade machines and 1 one was out of order. We were a little disappointed.

Pinball machines bring you back to your youth. Amazing selection of machines. Friendly service in the entire place. Food is just ok!!!

We had such a good time here that we stopped by twice during our trip. Great way to stop for a cold beer, snacks and have the kids enjoy some old school pinball games while parents can relax. Owner and employees were very helpful and personable :)

Found out about this place today. My son loves pinball so we stopped by. He played for hours. Very reasonable price. Owners are very friendly. Very cool place to go. We are locals we will be going back. I highly recommend this place cool pinball machines and chill environment.

Vertigo Pinball is the definition of family fun. Great place to grab a beer and only $20 to play pinball ALL DAY! My boyfriend and I were able to watch football, play pinball, drink beer, and enjoy a Sassy Mac panini all in one day. I really enjoyed the baseball game and my boyfriend wouldn't leave the Attack from Mars machine!

Such a cool place. Prices are perfect for a town like this. The family is really cool and down to earth.

Happy to see this place open up in Blue Ridge. All you can play pinball for $10, and a nice selection of beers, wines and snacks. About 25 machines ranging from classic to new. Make sure to check it out next time you are in town and support your local businesses.

Great staff, food and games. Almost 30 different pinball games to choose from. Unlimited play for one low fee is nice - no feeding quarters. They have a nice selection of drafts on hand to pair with the dogs and paninis. Definitely recommended.

Has the potential to be a great place - we paid to play hourly and my group of 7 all had drinks in hand so we were very invested in supporting this small business. About 30 minutes into our visit the rudest lady who was obviously an owner or manager walked up to me to let me know that there were cup holders on her pinball machines for a reason and that each of them cost $8-10k to replace - this was as I sat there with my drink in my hand but sitting on the machine that I wasn't playing. My party of 7 put ou

if you are a lover of pinball, then you'll love this place! a variety of machines spanning numerous styles and decades, plus food and booze! you should definitely pay the $15 for all-day play, one hour just isn't enough. a must if you're near Blue Ridge!

Great pinball spot and bar. The place did not feel overcrowded and had a constant stream of foot traffic. The building is in a good location and has good prices. 12 dollars an hour or 20 for all day. I enjoyed it and appreciated the cleanliness.

Best little hidden gem in Blueridge Ga. Love the pinball and perfect beer selection.

Awesome pinball bar, they have a couple electromechanical machines, Some 90s classics, and a bunch of the newer Stern Machines. A couple arcade machines here too. The food was delicious too!

$12 for an hour of unlimited pinball! A lot of great machines that span several decades. They have some very modern pinball machines as well as some classic ones. They also have Donkey Kong, Ms Pac-Man, and Galaga.

Awesome atmosphere, super friendly staff and excellent food!

Fantastic place to visit if your significant other is shopping in downtown Blue Ridge. I went searching for a beer and stumbled upon Vertigo? 3 hours later me and my gal were having the time of our lives. We will be back for sure!!!

Nice variety of beer, and loads of pinball machines, with a couple arcade machines as well. Costs $12 per hour to play, or $30 per day. Good fun for adults and kids alike.

We love this place!! Perfect to come in with some older kiddos and have a great time. The owner and bartenders are so nice. This is our 4th visit, and our opinion has not changed. Highly recommend!

I had an awesome some time here! Came with my boyfriend for a nice date night filled with lots of fun & pinball! This is a cool spot for all ages and super family friendly!! I will definitely be back ??

Had a great time at Vertigo! This is an awesome and unique place to hang out and spend time playing some fun pinball ??. It's a popular spot full of families and kids! Highly recommend to all!

So much fun! This really took me back to my college days. Everyone was friendly and, although it was pretty crowded, shared use of the machines. My wife dropped me off and spent a fortune shopping, but I didn't care!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
