First time, ended up booking 2 sessions back to back lol . Arrive 10 min early so you set up your gamer display name . We did the outbreak first then the undead arena, OUTBREAK was better!! It's not actual 45 min due to introduction/ instructions but good 30 min each. Staff was friendly ??

Always enjoy it. Definitely wear contacts if you can, with my astigmatism even the adjustment on the head set hard to see.

The worst customer service! Guy name Shawn did not let our group in because we were 4 mins late before our scheduled time and had let two other people in 2mins before we arrived because they told us, We scheduled the last appointment which great customer service he could have made some accommodations, but one of the players said he overheard him already complaining he wanted to go home and that he was ?over it? This is a really cool place to come with a big group, we tried the go karts and they do go super fast, it was fun but do your research first if you really want to drive this karts hahaha.

Fantastic. Incredible. Zombie Arena was a blast, space marines not as much, but we had random who were really bad at VR. Insanely fun.

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic time, and it's definitely worth both the time and money. I would encourage everyone to try this at least once, if not more.

Velocity VR has a really fun zombie game that is great for groups. I visited with friends and we booked our time slot in advance, which I absolutely recommend. The employees walk you through how to use the guns, goggles, and headsets for communication. Fair warning, you really should not wear glasses under the VR goggles, so either wear contacts to the gaming center or put your glasses away and decide to squint. Great experience. period!!!! Located at Octane Raceway, you can combo go cart racing with VR. The experience is pretty wild and super addicting. My favorite game is singularity because it's longer in game length, more challenging, and you move around more. Great for almost all ages after maybe 8-9 years old. You can never be too old for this! Grandpa would have a riot! Take the whole fam or a group of friends and go tare it up.

So much fun and what a workout it ends up being! The VR games are a blast, they have some classic ones but they also bring new games in. I have an irrational fear of zombies, so my heart rate really gets pumping! It is difficult experience to explain, you just have to be there! Every year, we come back to this place to play VR. They have upgraded their equipment and don't need a backpack anymore! Makes the experience so much better, will no longer break a sweat. We have pretty much tried all the maps, although every map is a different experience and all equally fun. Hopefully, they can add more games in the future to keep it fresh.

If you're new or novice to VR it's probably gonna be great to you. I, however, have VR at home and it's sub par to the experience I have at home. The gear isn't too heavy, but you feel it. The visual quality is ok to say the least, again, nothing compared to my at home setup. The thrill for me was the freedom to move around freely. The lagginess kinda kills the thrill though. Three Stars for the concept. Step up to Vive or Rift and lose the lag... That'll make this a 5 star experience. I can't stress enough

Awesome experience! I high recommend the Outbreak Origins experience, it's a medium difficulty but my two teenagers daughters played it for their first VR experience and had a blast. We followed up with the Far Cry experience which was a lot of gunfights vs pirates. The staff working that day was Abigail and Shay, they were amazing and very helpful. They made it a great experience for my kids and I. Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I cannot say enough about Velocity VR, they are phenomenal! We chose Velocity VR for our son's 15th birthday. They went above and beyond to make sure his day was special. We had guests from the age of 3 to 66 and each one enjoyed their time. There were activities for each of them and the pizza was great. They have an exceptional staff that is caring and went out of their way to help to make our experience memorable. I have been here 4 times now. It is so fun and immersive. Each game has its own unique fun quality that sets it apart. the guns feel great, and the communication system makes talking to your teammates during the action fun and hilarious with some people being tactical and other people just screaming and laughing. There is no other entertainment quite like it. Go check them out!

Edit: Today we went back (had one free voucher, which was very nice of them) and updating my review to 5 stars. The new software is very seamless and provides a better picture, very clear. This was such a fun experience for me and my boyfriend!! We did the zombie outbreak session and it had me screaming. It was so cool and I felt awesome beating zombies! Would definitely do it again 10/10.

Mixed feelings about this. The concept is amazing, but execution is not great. There was pretty major lagging for about 90% of the playing time. A good amount of that lagging made the game virtually unplayable (no pun intended). The game had to be paused for everyone maybe 8-10 times. Multiple people had to have their pack replaced or reset. Great experience gaming. Took a date there for what was a very fun 30 minutes... now what went wrong to give them 1 star. If you haven't played VR it's gunna be a great experience but if you have I wouldn't come here for the price, my gun kept lagging out and it kinda ruined the experience. Staff made up for it just had to pay for the additional ppl who wanted to play with me again. Far Cry was super fun, good graphics and didn't lag as much as the other game we played. Had an awesome experience working with Darin and Mikey to coordinate our team's quarterly fun event (~25 people). The service, food, and flexibility were great. Everyone loved the Zombie Survival VR and Octane go kart races. Will definitely keep in mind for future team events.

If you're into this stuff it was well done. Personally I would rather not but was asked to participate as part of team building. The reservation process was simple, checking in was seamless and the employees were friendly. I would recommend athletic clothes and sneakers as one member of our party lost a shoe during the session. It was awkward for her.

It looks like to would be cool if it worked well but that isn't the experience we received. I don't know if it was just that we had 8 players or the system is always like it was but for a good half of the game, a lot of us couldn't do anything due to glitching and lag issues. I scheduled a VR experience and cancelled shortly thereafter since a member of our group came down with Covid. I attempted to call to cancel numerous times and nobody ever answered. I brought my Dad to Velocity VR for father's day! We all had a great time but I was a bit dissapointed with the instructions given beforehand. My parents are older and not the most tech savvy and I had to step in for the worker to assist them. Additionally, for Father's Day they charged a premium of $60/person for 45 minutes. For 4 people it ended up being $240. Regular price is $40/person. Would you prefer to go to Disney Land or have a 45 minute VR experience? Definitely wouldve been a 5 star experience

I enjoyed the game but my equipment didn't work very well (gun was crazy inaccurate and overly sensitive to motion) and although you can walk around the room in the video game, there isn't any really reason you need to? This was my second time at Velocity VR. A group of friends and I come in on a 1/2 price special so we did two sessions. Very unique and fun experience. Highly recommend visiting and playing the games at Velocity. Great way to spend a few hours and step away from reality.

One of the very best things you can do with your teenage children. If you've never played a virtual reality game then you should drop what you're doing and immediately get there today. This is a great spot tons of fun excellent food and great service. Make sure you get your way there and be sure to call ahead because it can book up.

Great concept. Started off ok, a bit laggy. One of my friends needed two different backpack replacements (the computer), the lagg got progressively worse to the point of being unplayable. Such an amazing experience. Definitely a once in a life time kinda deal, from rumiging through a dieing city scape shooting zombies and trying to save the world, to the great expace of space it's self defeating a rampent AI. The possibilities are endless.
