The vibe is amazing, the owners and staff are very hospitable! The equipment is top notch and the environment is very family friendly! I was not expecting to enjoy this place as much as I did, I met allot of people who shared similar interest to mines, the staff are all super welcoming, and their motion sim rigs are awesome! I went for the F1 watch party and the atmosphere was great. Definitely a place to invite a couple of friends with, or come anlone and make some new ones!

Great place to have some fun in a group or with strangers. Excellent setups, either racer or Pro, and very efficient scheduling. The wheels are set to 10 nM for those that know. I definitely recommend coming 30-45 mons before your slot to grab a drink or a bite to eat and to watch a little if its your first time in a sim. Each 30 mins block is split between a practice round in the first half and a real race for the second half. Very fun experience, especially with the group chat while racing. Definitely rec

Unfortunately, my experience here didn't meet expectations. The food options were quite limited, and the cleanliness could definitely be improved. I also found the bartender to be less than welcoming. The racing itself wasn't very exciting, which added to the overall disappointment. I wouldn't personally recommend it, but others may have a different experience.

A really cool experience. The racing simulations really take things to the next level. You feel like you're on the actual race track. The bar has nice selection of drinks. Whitney is awesome. I had an amazing time at Velocity tonight for their inaugural movie night, featuring a hilarious Will Ferrell film. It was a pleasure to meet the owner, who was incredibly friendly and engaging with both me and my girlfriend. To top it off, they treated us to complimentary popcorn, which was a delightful surprise. I also had the chance to race one of the simulators and was thrilled to beat my previous time from my last visit. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We went here for the F1 race on a Sunday morning. The service was great, and the racing was great. The bartenders and staff did a great job. I highly recommend coming here !

Exceeded my high expectations! You can tell this place is a passion project throughout - not just from the high end sims but also from the events and the bar/food program. One of the owners, Viet, has a racing background and went around chatting with us and giving coaching tips which made the experience even better. The rest of the staff were just as friendly and helpful. The lounge aspect should not be overlooked -- it didn't feel awkward for non participants, and the drinks are good & reasonably priced.

This will quickly become one of my favorite spots to hit up in Houston. You will easily get lost in the sim racing experience; it is an unbelievable amount of fun for any skill set from the most casual person to the most competitive. Even when you aren't racing, the layout and environment is super chill, staff are extremely friendly and courteous, and the food and drinks are excellent. I always love coming to Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge. The vibes are always immaculate, the service is amazing, the people are always welcoming and helpful in explaining what you are actually experiencing when you hop on to one of their simulators. First time doing a VR Racing experience and it was amazing!!! Highly recommend for anyone that is a fan of racing. I did the double race and it was totally worth it. Two races in a hour. Afterwards, I ordered some food and drinks at the bar. The staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Can't wait to schedule a large group so my friends and I can all race each other at the same time and they put it up on the big screen.

This place is amazing! I know nothing about F1 but my son and hubby have recently gotten into it. Son found out about it so we came to check it out. Staff is so welcoming and nice. Had a fabulous time at the soft launch. It was a very cool experience as I've never done a sim lounge. The owner and staff are very nice. Looking forward to the F1 watch party and excited to finally have a dedicated place in Houston to watch F1 ! Definitely will do more sim racing practice too. Also love the decor and LEGO sets. Mostly happy they put this in a more accessible area of Houston vs 5trillion mi away in Katy.

I have found my new favorite hangout spot in Houston. Amazing food, cocktails, and of course racing. The pro simulators are so realistic that when I got in my truck to leave it felt fake. Super fun place for casual fun or to be extremely competitive.

Very cool experience. Tried two different rigs, including the ultimate. It was great to experience a rig where you feel the road. The staff is super friendly and helpful. 30 mins on each rig flew by. I'll be back. They also stream F1 races there this season.

Pretty dope spot! The owner actually came up to us and introduced himself, not many places do that and it just elevated the experience even more. I wasn't able to take alot of pictures since me and my date wereoo heavily immersed into racing! Atmosphere is amazing, I'll definitely have to come out here with the boys for a race night! The Velocity team has developed a fun and inviting atmosphere that fosters some good competition. The sim rigs are exceptional and not hard to drive if it is your first time sim racing. If you like cars and you do not want to race on the rigs, Velocity is a perfect place to simply hang out as they have all forms of racing on the TV's and event live watch parties! Came here for the first time for my birthday with my wife. With that being said I got put into a random race with different people at a random track for my first race and then again for my second race. I ended up asking for help due to I wanted to pick the car I was going to drive and also the track. In the end I didn't get to race where I wanted, but the sim racing is awesome. Booked a one hour session with 3 friends back in mid April. First race went fine, everything worked as expected. Their servers crashed for us immediately after the first race and we sat in the chairs for 20 minutes with no explanation of what happened or what to expect for the rest of our slot except for ?our servers are down?. Finally the servers come back up with 10 minutes left and we are booted into a practice session that kept repeating every couple of minutes. At the end of our allotted hour time sl

Went here for my birthday to try my hand at driving a formula 1 car as well as some of my dream cars. I am absolutely addicted now! I did the pro setup and the immersion was truly incredible. Zero lag, no bugs or loading screens. Fighting the steering wheel while diving my McLaren F1 into the hairpin at the Brands hatch track left me shaking like a leaf afterwards! Also enjoyed an ice cold beer and some of the food afterwards and I have zero complaints. 100% will be back with some friends

Came here with a few friends to check out and was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by the owner V as he gave us a tour explaining his passion for racing and his dream of making such a cool place for aspiring racers and casual gamers alike. The rigs were legit, they moved in all directions had pressure and feedback. It really gave a true feel of real life racing. I've done a few sim places, and this spot misses the target a few times. The bartender was super weird and implied my Latino friend would prefer Modelo? then the ?race controller? didn't tell us anything about the format of the race and we all learned as we played, then there were unexpected children playing and crashing into us making the whole experience pretty awkward. Overall? solid 3 star spot with a chance of being way better.

First time here and I love sim racing but as for a single race to experience was not worth it, as we were given only 20 min for a 35 min as per the pricing. This definitely needs to change for customers to return to play.

So much fun! I really enjoyed it. Professional staff and the racing was competitive. You can see yourself getting faster as you learned the track. I will absolutely be back.
