In town for the week with family and we decided to hit up this Arcade to play some Pinball together. Upon walking in we were helped by a nice gentleman who explained the options to us. $6 pass for all day play for all machines but the pinball or pinball for 75? a play. We decided to get $20 in quarters for all of us to play pinball and it was well worth it. Great family arcade, would come here again. Highly recommend for families with children.
Cool arcade bar where all the video games are free play. $8 an hour or $15 all day. Pinball machines aren't included. The have original pong, joust, night rider, and so many hard to find classics.
Unlimited games for $7 an hour! Love that system! (Pinball is the only thing that was extra) lots of fun little games and plenty of classics! Would recommend it for a fun date night!
My only complaint would be (and I know, it won't be popular) is I wish they had a few more modern games from my childhood in the 90s. Family and friends had a good time.
Stopped here while waiting for our dinner reservation at a reataurant downtown. Loved the environment and concept. Next time we're in Bend we will definitely stop here again!
Had fun here with a friend for a couple hours. Definitely recommend if you got an hour to kill and want to experience some old school arcading. Can't go wrong for 8 bucks having a an hour of fun (or 15 if you want unlimited) Only was moderately busy when we went there. Definitely a nice little place to hang out with a smal friend group of 2-4 people.
Blast from the past! One hour flew by. Nice that they have beer. Wish the pinball was included,.75 cents seems a little steep. Please get Tempest and Bump N Jump.
Pay per play on pins :( But 50 or 75 cents so no too bad. Has the 3 Chicago Gaming Company remakes with color display upgrades and toppers on AFM and MB. $5 per hour of video games, a pretty decent mix of older classics. Worth the visit for gen x raised in arcades.
Update 4/2025. Still an awesome place for people of all ages. New pinball machines. Go here..... Awesome. A great find downtown that is fun and family friendly. Prices are great and it's perfect for both kids and adults. Beer is available..
So much fun! Only issue is I wish it was bigger lol They had a good many games that are very fun to play as well as nostalgic for a millennial like me and who doesn't love pinball??
Stumbled on this Arcade place while waiting for a table but then got so caught up cause it's so awesome, that we missed our reservation. Awesome arcade with a pretty low payment to play for an hour. The place is clean and following COVID guidelines. Also, you can get beer and seltzer?s while you play?sooo basically it's the best place ever. Go go go!
8bucks for one person, you must play the one hour. No one is there I understand that why, vintage games but not a discount, over hour is too long, only maniacs would love to play them, if you have lots of time ,no babies, no kids and no pets you could play games that and enjoy. Crew isn't a happy at all, not a kind person.
Staff was friendly! Despite looking small it has a great selection of games. Very reasonably priced, and has a great retro logo to boot.
Absolutely fantastic arcade! There is an hourly or daily rate for the video arcade game area (all inclusive). Pinball is cash per play. The pins are all in very good shape and appropriately maintained. They even have a board for high scores above the register/bar. There is also a decent selection of canned, craft beers available.
It's a fun date night activity before or after dinner. You can get a drink and play. Plenty of two player games. The pinball is separate for admission, and honestly more fun.
My favorite entertainment spot in Central Oregon since they opened!! Also, they let in my mother with Alzheimer's/dementia I'm caregiver for in free of charge to watch me play and stay with me like she likes and needs to. Very kind of them.... Thank you Vector Volcano
Awesome place! Kids & Adults Love It!
Great place to hang out with my grandkids! It was too smoky to be out, so we paid for an all-day pass. It's vintage games, and you can even buy a great beer while you're there. Not fancy, just a nice vintage feel to it.
Excellent selection of classic games. Hourly admission makes it easy. Beverage options are on point
Small but we'll kept. The games are nostalgic, clean and in good working order. The size was a bit of a turn off for the price tag. Parents cannot just watch their kids. You must pay to watch or play. I would frequent a larger arcade or cheaper one more than this place. This is obviously a concern for the locals as there is a big sign on entry.
Cool place to play retro games- very nostalgic for an old timer(41) like me
It was $8 an hour per person but the pinball machines were $1 each play on top of that. I said that I would be the only one playing but they made us pay for my wife too or they wouldn't let her in. Then when I asked if I could get some quarters for the pinball machines they said they didn't have any cash. This place really needs to rethink their business model it is pretty much a joke as it is.
Should have asked if the pinball machines were included (they are not). We were most excited about the dual HyrdoThunder games, but the right side didn't steer at all. Overall, kind of a bummer.
Games were cool. It's small! Worker didn't really seem like they wanted to be there, their nose was literally buried in their phone the whole time, almost like we were an inconvenience to him? doubt I'll go back tbh
We often come to this arcade and it's adult and child friendly! We go as two adults and it's great. All games are always working, the rate is unbeatable with how much games cost now. The only arcade in central Oregon dedicated to arcade games. Great for large families looking to entertain kids for a cheap price. Pinball is separate but those machines require a lot of maintenance so I understand. Overall a great place for the community
Fun little arcade! Plenty of old time games to play. It has a good atmosphere and it kept pretty clean
Awesome! Try to play 6 person Hockey, it's worth it.
Small but a great collection! All machines are in perfect working order and play perfectly. A great value too!
It's pretty cool. They got about six or seven pinball games and a bunch of old school classics like punch out and Indy.....etc.... Will return..... 6 bucks for an hr on classics and cash and quarters for the pinball. They will give you change as well so come prepared...have fun...I did.
Great arcade with pricing set up the way it should be. You pay a flat rate to get in and the arcade games are set to "free play". Only the pinball games require quarters. They have beer and ciders here too! I just wish they had some domestic beers, not the weirdo stuff. Nice, clean restroom. I would surely return.
Great mix of pinball and old school video games AND beer!
Pinball! Pinball! Pinball! Did I mention pinball? Seriously, this is a great place to go if you happen to be in or around Bend. Well worth the trip. It is a little pricey as you have to pay to gain admission, and then pay again for each game. But what you get is a very nice selection and lots of pinball and video games to select from. Almost forgot to mention that they also sell beer. Great way to spend a few hours.
A bunch of classic games in very good condition. It's loud in here, of course, but you'll have a great time for an hour. I don't think the day pass is worth it as you'll probably be done by then.
Went for a buddies birthday and it was absolutely awesome. There were tons of awesome games, delicious beer and cider. And it wasn't packed. I was able to play pretty anything I wanted during my time there. NBA jam was a blast from the past. Hint: there's no fouls in that game, hack them up. Pinball was fun too, I'm pretty sure they hold pinball tourneys too. Have fun!
Bummed they moved to a pay per play model for their pinball machines. We showed up and they had a nice sign explaining that they can no longer support their $5 a model hour including older pinball machines. You now have to pay .25 or whatever it is per use. I understand their concerns and the expense associated with managing the machines, I just want to voice that it's the only reason me and my family came. We frequented a couple times a month and won't be going now.
Really neat place to check out if you're in Bend and love classic arcade games! All the games were in great shape and they simply charge you by the hour and then you can freely play any game as much as you want. They also have beer which is a perk. Highly recommend checking them out.
Going to keep his brief, This is a fun place to hang out and play some retro video games. Can't beat the pricing for the video games just $5 for an hour and you can play any of the video games as many times as you want for an hour. They don't strictly enforce the time limit so that's nice. Games are fun to play and yeah, a neat place to hang out with good pricing. 10/10 would come again
Fun place! Beer and pinball!
What a blast! Great place to show the kids what real video games are! Such a cool idea to do flat rate all you can play. The games were super clean and in great shape. No faded screens. A great variety too. They had hand sanitizer out and everyone wearing masks, was good to see they were taking this serious.
This place is a blast. It's only 5 bucks for a hour of unlimited play. Old school games like I played as a kid. My 7 year old loves it and there is a beer for me as well. It is not huge but has a good amount of stuff to play. Would recommend this to anyone.
This is such a great spot! We will be frequenting this place as our date spot! I love that most of the games are by the hour and that they still have pin ball by the game if you don't have time to take advantage of the hour. And drinks! The world needs more places like this!
Talk about a fun and unique experience. Haven't played a lot of those games in a really long time so when we walked past the window I had to stop. They have a great beer selection, friendly staff, and an awesome collection of old arcade games. My wife was even into it and she isn't much of a gamer. Will be back for sure.
Great spot for kids and adults. They've filled the space with retro video game machines and you pay by the hour. They are open until fairly late. The selection has too many really old school Atari games for my taste, but overall pretty fun to go with the family.
Took the kiddos, for the first time.... good/ prices, GREAT GAME AND PINBALL SELECTION! So much fun.. my little one was also accommodated. They offer stools for the mini humans to stand or sit on, so they can see better. Great place, great fun!
This place is fun and all, but YO turn down the heat, please. My wife and I were BURNING UP in here. I dunno if it's because of all these old games running at the same time or the heat is turned up to high, but the name of the place is right, we really DID feel like we were in a volcano.
I love the simplicity of this place. You can pay for 1 hr or unlimited for the day. They also have kombucha and beer which is fun. Very clean and they keep up on repairing their machines. Fun for all ages and great location downtown.
Love the experience of being able to just pay a flat fee and try as many games as you can. Beer selection was great as well. It's a pretty small spot so don't expect to pack in a lot of people.
Great place for family fun! Can't beat the prices and the service is always top notch. We are frequent visitors! I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the old stand ups and pinball machines are all in great condition. We love it!
A gem hidden in small town Oregon. We visited for just an hour on vacation and I wish i could have spent more like a whole day. Pricing is genius, all the cabinets are freeplay, and you just pay to get in. Only the pinball takes quarters. I wish this kind of place existed out east!
Being in my mid forties and growing up in the 80's and 90's, this place really brought back memories of my youth going to the arcades. So awesome to bring my kids there and introduce them to hours of fun. Highly recommend.
Cool place to travel back to the 80s. Missile Command, Galaga, Asteroids, Star Wars - they're all there. They even have Gorf!
8bit lover heaven! Great selection of arcade games and pinball. Plus drinks and a great atmosphere of enjoyment. $5 buys you all the free play you can squeeze into an hour, $10 gets you the WHOLE day!
It's very small and very hard to find a parking spot. However, you can play pinball without paying the 8$ per hour so that was nice since all I wanted was to play a little pinball then leave.
I love the retro gaming!!! If you grew up in the 70-80's you will love this place, you can get beer or ciders on tap, due to tariffs, some costs are upped so, pinball machines ate a quarter, way better than Dave and Buster's who give a minute or two of game play gorgeous two bucks , morning matter how skilled you are. The owner us really cool, interesting man very knowledgeable about the games and their history. I watched him give a tutorial to a young man on how to be a "pinball wizard'. It's in Bend Ore
Fantastic!!!! We rented out the arcade for a company party and had the best time! Brett was so great to work with & so accomodating. Kids and adults enjoyed the party. We are hoping to do this annually. Highly, highly recommend having a private party here!
Very cool classic arcade games right in the heart of downtown Bend. Classics like Asteroids, Centipede, Frogger, Donkey Kong and so many great pin ball machines. Takes you back to the simpler times! Beer, sodas, wine and cider available too! Great way to spend an hour or 4 or 5!
Cool little place, but it would have been nice to see a larger variety of newer games. 70% of the arcade machines were old classic 80s games (Dig Dug, Asteriods, Missile Command) which although are wonderfully nostalgic, they do get old. And most of them were completely unoccupied which seemed like a waste of space. I'm rating it a 4 stars because of the outstanding price and perfect fit in Bend. Just get a few more newer games in there for us nineties kids! (Area 51, MvC2, House of Dead etc.)
This is such a fun way to kill an hour downtown and grab a quick beer. For $5 you can play all that you can (except pinball that you still use quarters for) and it's such a good deal. Try to go on weekdays so you dont have to fight for games with lots of kids.
The price increase to $8 from $5 but it's definitely a great place to have some fun.
5.00$ unlimited plays for an hour. Can't beat that! Classic stand up games. Play Mortal Combat many times as you want...Oh and they have a splendid selection of beers for the parentals.
Always a great place to go after hanging out downtown or after bowling. Get some friends and get over there, play classic arcade games like Asteroids, Pacman and Joust. Great fun at a good 5$ an hour price.
Love this place! Beer and arcade games?!! Oh yes, this is why I became an adult! Great games, and they are changed out to keep you interested. Added bonus the people who keep this place going are amazing!
Best bang for the buck. Pay by the hr. Introduce kids to the old games. Nice spot.
We love this place. My little boy and I love to play the retro games. It is a clean and fun environment. It is affordable and all of the games work. The staff is always super friendly too.
Many classics here! Awesome pinball too, but you do have to pay for those
It's an arcade and night driver or dungeon quest best hands down. Other than that love it and it's cheap just get ready to pay for sodas cus that's where they get you but for them to keep the lights on it's totally worth it.
A great place to have a couple beers and play some classic arcade games! It's a good idea to go later in the day on weekdays if you're not a fan of schoolkids running around, but it's such a welcoming environment that any time can be arcade time!
This place is a treasure. Went here with my husband on a rare date night and we had a blast playing pong, playing table hockey, shooting zombies, and racing together. Such a cool spot!
My two kids and I went to check this place out and we really enjoyed it. When you first arrive you have the option of paying for an hour ($5/person) or all day play ($10/person). We went for the hour option and for that, they give you a nametag clip with your time written on it. It's basically just a reminder of when your hour is up. So that part is "on your honor" to keep track of. When you first walk in there is a couch to your left which is for people to hang out and chill while their kids/friends are p
This place is awesome! All the old school classic video games from the '80s. Unlimited play. Great for kids and adults who still are kids.
This place is awesome. If you want something new for date night this is it! So much fun and they sever beer. So much better than just going to the bar!!!
I'm pretty disappointed that Vector Volcano now requires quarters for pinball machines. It does take away from the 'adult playground' feel of being able to pay when entering, then being able to play any game. I would much rather the hourly fee be increased and all games be 'free'.
Decent game selection but they charged me for both my 2 year old and me, even though I told the staff member that it's only possible for one of us to be playing at a time. It's a very silly way to approach charging someone.
It'll get the job done. Pay by the hour and reasonably priced draft beer, works for me! A few too many reeeeeally old games, but that's just my taste. I'm a galaga and pacman gal anyhow, I can't judge. But seriously, who can actually accomplish anything in Dragon's Lair?! What a beautiful game with not much interaction! Drat!
Love the place. The owner is a cool dude as well. I only wish there was more places like this in town or a second location. They serve beer and soda, and the price of admission is pretty cheap.
Even though I'm only 22 years old I still love playing the cool old-school arcade games. The enviroment is very welcoming and I would go every day and all day to play Pac-Man if I could. I got one of their skickers and put it on my water bottle in the hopes people ask me about the place.
Classic video arcade where you can play UNLIMITED free games at 8 dollars an hour?!?!?! Yes, PLEASE. That Frogger, Pac-Man, and Centipede are waiting for you!
Downtown Bend arcade with a bar. Most of the arcade games are set to free mode, and visitors pay by the hour. With some coin operated pinball machines. It's a good time for sure, and I would definitely recommend it.
I'm a huge nerd already so when Vector Volcano Arcade first came out I was so excited! It's a nice environment, great price and fun for all ages! Thank you Volcano for fueling my 80's arcade love!
Just $5 bucks??? Yea serious!! Andy they have a great selection of games for the kids and a great selection of beers for the big kids too :) love this place <3
I like that they stay open pretty late because it was busy when we got there but then people left when it got later. The games were fun.
We had a blast playing all the old school games. It's a great deal to keep the kids (and yourself) occupied. Plus they have beer!
Super fun assortment of all the old 80?s games. Took me back to my youth. $5 an hour seems totally reasonable. Good times.
We like taking family fun days to the arcade. Lots if game options and a nice way to spend an hour or two! Everyone is always friendly.
Great little hang out for some beer and games. I love the pay by hour method which makes difficult games a lot more fun! Had a blast
Love this place! Can't beat their $5/hr or $10/all-day for all the old school arcade and pinball games from my 80's childhood
I love it. Reminds me of the dark arcades I would duck into from the New Jersey boardwalks back in the 80s. Now I get to revisit those games with a craft beer in hand. Life is good.
Truly an amazing place to let the kids have a blast for cheap and parents to get a cold beer!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
