We had much fun as a family there yesterday. The prices were easy on our pockets. The workers were pleasant. Clean bathrooms and clean ???? ?? environment. The Ninja courses and the zip line were the main highlights for us. We would love to return over the summer. There are membership as well, which will help to save money ?? ?? ??. We will definitely be back.
Amazing place to get your kids' BD party! I will do it again! Awesome customer service, great management, awesome for kids any ages to play?, great food, clean and organized! I can not say anything bad about them, just good things! Love it, love it, love it! Even adults had fun, we did laser tag, and we had a blast!
We came with family and friends on Feb 22, and it was a busier day than usual. The staff was terrific, and there was so kind and patient to the little children, especially the young lady in the mini car section. She is a hard worker and kind to my children and others. Heavy lift those cars without complaint multiple times all day! We will be back! Our kids love her! ??
We visited Urban Air in Ballenger Creek, MD, and overall had a great experience! Most of the day was pleasant, and almost all of the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and great with the kids. We purchased the Ultimate Package (which wasn't cheap) and spent the day with my 10-year-old daughter, her friend, and her friend?s mother. Everything went smoothly until the very end of the night. Urban Air closes at 9 PM, and at 8:47 PM, the girls tried to get on the mini go-karts to make sure they experienced e
Even for a weekend the bathroom are so clean. The staff there are friendly. And my kid had a blast. From the start, the front desk Sophia was kind and help me check in. We had come before for a birthday party, but it was my first time coming just to jump and she help me through the process. The staff on the floor were all very friendly, but one person really stood out. I will like to thank Drew for cheering for my little girl who was scared to go down the slide. Overall, a great experience and I will be
Extremely Disappointed! We had the worst birthday party experience at Urban Air Frederick, MD. The party host was terrible ? we had to repeatedly track them down, and every time they showed up, they were rushing everything as if we were an inconvenience. There was zero coordination, and it felt like they were just trying to get it over with. The service was a disaster. The pizza they served was burned and barely edible. For the amount we paid, this level of quality is unacceptable. To top it off, they d
Nathan was our host and he was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had no problems setting up and making sure the kiddos had everything they need! The manager even accommodated me to breastfeed my infant too! They set me up in a private room! Thank you urban air! You guys are awesome! We will be back!
Very interesting use of space . Check - in as you arrive through doors . Then the lights, sounds and bright scenery take over . We had a birthday party here . A couple of large tables were set up to accommodate. Children have many activities to do . A lot of fun was had
This place was awesome!!!! My sister and I took our daughters and we are in our 30s and literally participated with our kids we had a lot of fun. They have a decent snack and pizza bar. They literally have all the coolest stuff you can think of. They have tons of space to throw multiple birthday parties if you're looking for a place to have your kiddos bday party but it was great. They had Lazer tag, sky line, trampolines of course and a lot more! It was very cool. My first time there and I loved it!
We love the new addition of the go-kart track for younger kids and some of the other redesigns. The staff is always top notch with our experiences. The unlimited summer pass and the new refillable ICEE cup means a pair of happy kids this year. I do wish the laser tag would support more than 8 participants and my oldest would like to see the 2 flipping bummer cars fixed. Cart #8 has been down during our last 3 visits and #7 went down today.
Wow!! This was our first visit and we had an absolute blast! We had 7 in our group from 4 to 60 and there was something for EVERYONE! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got busier in the afternoon but still had enough space to do all things. My favorite was the laser tag! We will definitely be back!
We had a great time. Lots of fun things to do.The staff is very helpful and friendly. My daughter love it ?? and actually we are book for a graduation party on June 14 we are both excited. A great place to have a family day.We walk right in with no wait ready to have some fun.
We've visited several times as a family and just hosted a birthday party here. Always clean and well maintained. The party was totally worth it and the least stressful party I've ever hosted. Spring for the party room. It's a great deal because it comes with some of your pizza included and gives you a quiet place to be while the kids enjoy themselves. I also love that unlike similar places the passes for party guests entitle them to stay as long as they would like. It's not just a 2 hour pass with half an h
This franished theme park had ample employees working, but the number of kids allowed to access a play area was dramatically reduced. There were 5 different activities located in the rock climbing area, yet only 1 child was permitted per attendant. The Drop Zone was dismantled & that area was closed off. The laser tag had at least 20-30 guns, but only 8 children were let in per game. The fried wings barely had seasoning & were the size on pigeons. The waffle fries were cold & not worth it. But over all, my
We hosted our son?s sixth birthday here and everyone had a great time. Heads up that group size is capped at ten kids and one parent per child. Given how little time the kiddos spent at the party table, I felt that the lower-tiered party package was more than sufficient; but they do have rooms available if that's more your thing. The staff are great and they keep the whole place very clean and professional - not just by kid-place standards - it's clean and the staff are great. Gratuity is not included in yo
Probably the best all-around indoor family activity center in the DC area. Some places have only trampolines or climbing, this place has both as well as go carts and bumper boats. Really impressive operation and not too pricey.
First time here. Purchased a day pass before realizing they have "All summer" passes. Manager Luiz was kind enough to refund the day pass after we purchased the All summer pass. Fantastic customer service, look forward to being customers all summer long.
Aweful! Place is filthy. We hadmy granddaughters birthday there and the staff were asked 4 times over 3 hours to please announce her birthday. It was never done. Food was hard and stale and tasteless. Massage chairs only half worked, one took my daughters money and didn't work at all. People sat in them like they were lounge chairs. Advertised prices were false. Floors had trash laying around everywhere. I'll never allow my family to go there again. Total waste of money. I even read the reviews and am very
The staff at this Urban Air is truly amazing!! Starting off from Amina who was our party helper. To Cole and two other staff members, did not get their names who helped my daughter who suffers with really bad anxiety over come her fear when it came to zip lining. They did not care that the line for the zip line was getting so long due to my daughter?s fear but instead helped her feel comfortable. I appreciate each one of you so so much! You all are truly wonderful.
I had my sons 11th birthday party here yesterday and everyone absolutely loved it. This location was very clean which is super important to me when inviting friends and family out to celebrate one of my children. Our host Xavier was the best. We didn't need for anything. He was so nice, extremely professional and truly cared about my son having a nice birthday. He always has the biggest smile and whenever I requested something he would say ?no problem!? And I would have whatever was needed within minutes.
Had a team party - set up was smooth & easy, everyone was friendly and helpful, kids had a great time. Rates for our large group were a pretty good value, and the venue wasn't too crowded on the Friday night. Would definitely do it again!
My family are platinum members and we always have a fantastic time at Urban Air! Tonight was my son?s first time at the bumper cars and Tahura was extra sweet and careful with him to ensure he was safe and comfortable throughout the experience. Other staff tonight were wonderful and helpful too as always :)
I love this place and have been a member for over a year. It's madness, but my three kids always go crazy for a couple of hours here.
Very first time and it was awesome. All the kids always had a different activity to play. The staff were extremely pleasant and professional. I highly recommend for parties.
Each semester, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County takes large groups of our members from our various locations around Carroll County to Urban Air in Frederick. The kids, without fail, have a blast! The staff is always friendly and always happy to help make sure our kids have the most amazing experience possible. We have regularly worked with their management to book our groups, given the number of kids we bring at one time. Management has been amazing with accommodating all of our needs and ensuring o
We liked urban air. Went a few times so I got a membership for my family. I thought it was a month to month basis, since they don't advertise it's a 12 month contract clearly. I've been given the run around on if they will cancel it. After these 12months I probably just won't return. Don't really like skyzone but at least they are clear about their promotions. 12 months is a bit long. 3 or even 6 months I could understand
So. Much. To. Do. This place is awesome! Airwalk course, bumper cars, zip lining, laser tag, dodge ball arena, ninja course, rock wall and so much more! We were there for a birthday party and it was nonstop fun for over three hours. Word of advice for birthday packages-- if you want to have access to everything they have available, you have to go with the platinum package. Our crew had the ultimate package and it was amazing, but it didn't include zip lining, bumper cars, laser tag, and some other small
My granddaughters had a blast! The facility was clean. Plenty of friendly staff to make sure everyone had a good and safe experience.
Although the park was great for my child, dodge ball was a mess. Some other very older children came, and they had purposely said racial slurs to my children. They threw the dodge balls as hard as they could at my child?s head It happened to hit his eye, and he could barely see for a couple hours. The worker at dodge ball had happen to know these other older children and did nothing about it. I would highly recommend watching your children while playing dodge ball.
Had our grand daughter's birthday here on Saturday place is amazing.we were there 5 hours staff was great I'm sure our grandson will want his party here
I recently visited urban air with my friends , and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. What made things worse was the poor handling of tickets and wristbands. I purchased two platinum tickets and socks for my kids, spending over $80. However, when we went to the trampoline area, an employee told me we couldn't play there because we didn't have the ?correct? wristbands. I was shocked. When I asked the employee outside the trampoline who could play in that area, she said, ?Everyone can play, bu
This is a really nice indoor kid's park. Very roomy, very clean, and with so many different rides and adventure areas. Great for young and older kids. It has a small cafe with a great selection of drinks, frozen drinks, hot dogs, hot pretzels, and much more. My older kids loved everything, the trampolines, the ninja course, the rock climbing wall, and especially the zip line. There is also a large jungle gym, a cool laser tag arena, and amazing somersault bumper cars. We had a fantastic time!
Quite an experience! We have been to other places like this but this one was just more. Almost chaotic but in a good way. Climbing, ziplining, bumper cars, foam pits, trampolines, and an almost ninja warrior ball pit. Had a great time. Line for refreshments was a mess but to be expected and not awful. Bathrooms need help, men's is wide open while women are waiting in long lines. Would visit again and had fun.
After the Corona quarantine I promised my boys we would go to Skyzone. However, my friend told me about Urban Air and I knew they were going to love it. Usually after an hour of jumping on the trampoline they get tired and want to play arcade games. I did my research and figured it was cheapest to buy the monthly pass which gives you unlimited visits and we can participate in all activities. We only need to go once a month to make up for the monthly membership charge. I took 3 13 year olds and a 9 year old
Great place to take the family. Nice rates even if you don't want the membership which is nice. Nice snack bar and decent prices and my son just got his cast off and he could do most of the stuff there. It was definitely a lot that the whole family could do. Wasn't as packed as I would have thought.
I took my son for his birthday and he had a lot of fun. He invited 2 cousins. The price for the tickets was around $180. It was worth it. They had fun for around 5 hours. I would take them here again.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because in my opinion it's extremely overpriced for what the facility offers. I paid close to $800 for the ultimate birthday party. However, my kids love this place. It is basically Skyzone 2.0. There are a lot of attractions, go carts, trampolines, zip lines, basketball, obstacle courses, ect. There was barely anything my 2 year old could do, a lot of things my 4 foot 6 year old couldn't do. Staff was very friendly. Place was clean. Very crowded. Nonetheless my ki
Today was our first visit to Urban Air and omg its huge inside there and absolutely amazing!!!! There are tons of different activities in there to keep the kiddos entertained for hours!!! We loved the Zip line. Lazer tag there was sooo much fun. The have the best bumper cars I have ever seen in my whole life. The flip over and roll when you bump each other. If you got too hot or hungry while playing the even have a Cafe where you can grab some snacks and refreshments. The best part about the whole place i
The staff at Urban Air are so friendly and went above and beyond to take care of our students. Everyone was attentive and our students had a fun and safe experience. Thank you Urban Air!
The kids had a blast. Highly recommend.
We have been to a lot of similar play places in Virginia and Maryland but this one is my new favorite! The zip line is awesome, the space is huge, and there's so much seating. I was expecting it to be loud and over crowded but it wasn't! Kids had a blast and parents could chill ?? really appreciate that they do buzzers for food orders, too. We'll be back!
They have lots to do including a zip line, bumper cars, a WipeOut (like the show) area and laser tag. And the staff is wonderful. They were polite, knowledgable, helpful and approachable. Not just for kids. We had a wonderfully FUN time.
We've been paying members here for a year, and today for the first time we show up and my son?s favorite attraction is now moderated by staff and you have to wait in a line, but the staff is not attentive and they let multiple kids cut in front of us. My 3 year old doesn't understand this because we used to freely jump in the ball pit area with no issues. We've now been standing here for fifteen minutes and the attendant disappeared. I think we'll be taking our money and business somewhere else. Very disapp
Nice indoor fun for kids of all ages, with tons of things to do. Attractions include Climbing Walls, Indoor Ziplines, Bumper Cars, Ropes Course, Dodgeball, Trampolines, Arcades and a lot more! Fun and engaging activity filled place for the kids.
Hopefully management will see this. I find it very unfair when kids are supposed to be a certain height for a attraction but no one is implemented. My dauther waited over 30 mins for a attraction and kids smaller then her were able to get in, but she was not allowed I tried to get someone's attention but they were all to busy to pay attention. The quality of this place has gone down the drain.
This is such a fun place to be! There is a lot to do here for all ages. I've gone with my my husbands siblings that range from young to teen to young adult and they all found activities to do, and I've also been (here and another UA location) with co-workers and had a blast as just a group of totally unathletic adults lol. They also have play areas for little kids like 2 year olds and such, and good discounts for parents/spectators if your just here for your kids. This location has some cool features like
Sarah went above and beyond for our family. She made sure that my family had a place to sit and enjoy our food. She was very pleasant and polite, even though it was super busy!
Our kids love this place, they've been there for parties and general platinum admissions and now they're attending Urbie Camp. All afternoon fun and games while making new friends, that leaves them worn out and ready to wind down before heading to bed. Urbie Camp will make the list next year for a few weeks now that they know and like it. My littlest can't wait until she is tall enough for the zip line.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is plenty of activities to last all day for my 8 & 5 year old grandsons. I highly recommend the annual membership pass
Went to spend time with my son and my granddaughter. The little one was running around the entire time. We had to carry her out at the end of the night. What a great time.
My daughter had an amazing time at this place. The only downside is tickets are a tad bit pricey, need more lockers to store belongings for busy days ( I had to carry my purse around with me), and the concession stand food could be better.
Disappointed because waited ages for my order and when i received it, my pizza was cold and bland. Kids disappointed, money wasted . seems like my pizza was sitting around for a while before i received it
Lots to do. It's really dark so hard to keep track of kids. It is very crowded and not a lot of supervision for activities by staff. Could have just been the date/time we chose. It is definitely worth the amount you pay for all that is included.
Clean Serves food Has different activities for different ages The only thing I can complain about is that they don't open early enough on the weekends. Excellent place for active preschoolers! We are members, so you can tell we're quite fond of this place.
As with any other indoor children's indoor attraction, it can be super busy with parties and standard walk-ins. You'll deal with younger teen agers who may not necessarily realize they are trampoling over younger kids. Most times absolutely an accident. Some younger kids are also in their punk stages as well.... incl. mine lol Attractions are teired based on what you paid for.
The indoor park was very clean and lines were well organized. We will definitely be going back. My 8 & 10 year old girls had a great time and didn't even get around to all of the attractions during our two hour time slot.
Excellent place. Activities for all ages. We drive an hour just to visit the Fredrick location because of all it has to offer. It's the best location we have found.
Urban Air has so much to offer and will keep your kids and teens busy for hours! The platinum pass is definitely worth it as there is no time limit. It includes unlimited access to all of the attractions, including laser tag, the flip zone, the ropes course and more! They also have membership opportunities and birthday packages.
Our kids have tried several trampoline parks and really enjoyed Urban Air. There's so many choices, such as jumping, climbing walls, laser tag, etc. I would have given 5 stars but do think additional staff would be helpful. There were several areas where some stricter rules for safety might be a good idea. But it was a lot of fun and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!!!!
Quick check in although placed is crowded. Bathrooms are very clean, one of them has no hand soap. Ok food for price. Like that you can stay all day for one price. Free WIFI. 3 stars are for the fact that while I was walking around, a staff member got in my son's face and made him get up from the table we were sitting at. When I returned no one knows anything about it. The person he pointed out denied she asked him to move. The lady who keeps the area clean did find a few seats for us. If it wasn't for he
We always love it here... the kids always have a blast, staff is always helpful and nice. If I lived closer, I would come so much more often!
I had a birthday party at Urban Air on a Saturday. It was fantastic. The owner was very helpful throughout the process with making sure we had everything needed for a successful event. The staff was stellar. Our party host was very attentive. I would highly recommend for a birthday party.
This particular location is lacking size wise. Not enough for adults to do. It's geared more for little kids. My 11 yr old grandson did have fun tho. No ticket games is a bummer. It would be awesome if they could expand this building if any of the neighboring businesses move out. Also we found out you can't buy a membership in the place (which we got grief on) only online and it was a fiasco because they don't group the kid's membership with the parent. Has to be done separately Took a good 1/2 hour to fig
First time coming loves the place my baby is one he couldn't do much but there was enough room to push him around in the stroller just all around fun for the kids
Our party host Bobbi was phenomenal and made sure my son had the best birthday party! The facility is clean, the staff keeps a good eye on the kids to make sure they're safe, the food is meh but it's a kid's play place, the kitchen is clean, the bathrooms are clean and the kids had a blast! We did have a few issues with booking the party details but they took care of them before the party and ensured everything was great! This is one of my son's favorite places to play.
Urban Air today with my favorite Nephew. He had a ball, I had a great time observing children having fun. Next time I will join all the fun.
Bought a summer pass to beat the heat and was just told on this 100? day that we aren't allowed to bring our water bottles in. Apparently staying properly hydrated in this extreme heat isn't a priority to this company.
My babies had such a blast! Might not be the best place for toddlers who wanna be grown, but school-aged kids will surely have an awesome time!!
Food is mediocre and overpriced, but what place like this isn't? My problem is that it run by teenagers and every staff?s rules are different. They don't answer the phone. If you have a monthly membership and reservation, be prepared to wait AN HOUR in line even with membership and reservation. There is no staff direction whatsoever. If you have a membership/reservation, why should you have to wait an hour in line? Also, all attractions aren't always open. Waste of money unless you have a membership and can
Great time for adults and kids! We will definitely be back. It was clean, not super crowded and the Cafe had good food also. Staff was super friendly, Bobbi even saved us a few $$. Can't wait to go back!
Quite a bit to do, the food options aren't bad (think what you'd get at a movie theater) and the prices aren't at extortion levels. Overall a good place to bring kids of many ages and even adults might find it worthwhile.
We had an amazing time!!! I purchased a birthday package for my daughter for her 6th birthday!!!! It was such a great time!!! For our first experience it was very organized and just fun!!
This place is awesome. Great place for an adventurous child or an adult. My grandchildren had a great time. Their ages range from 2 to 11 years old. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.
We literally just left. We went for a 6-year-olds birthday party. They had rented a private room which was fabulous and had a lovely host (I think his name was Justin). Super attentive and super friendly. He had great interactions with the kids and adults. My daughter actually took a tumble while we were eating pizza and both our host and a young woman working the party area rushed to our aid. They immediately got us ice and made sure we were okay. It was our first experience here and I will be back because
Love this place....Family favorite ! Highly recommend just getting a membership ....we take full advantage of ours :) JR loves the new go karts too!
A bit pricey if you want to do the zip line and laser tag (almost $40). But my kids had an amazing time.
I used to live an hour away from this place, but I don't mind driving that hour because it's a very nice place. My kids love this place, very clean, good service.
Unless your children are 48 in or taller, I'd skip this. They are quick to sell you an Ultimate or Platinum pass but most everything included is for kids 4 feet or taller. It was also so crowded that it was genuinely dangerous feeling. Employee said that they booked 190 kids from two different groups at one time, on top of letting regular price customers in. I spoke to a manager about my concerns, and was told my feedback was appreciated. Miserable experience.
The place was great staff helpful and friendly. The areas were clean. No issues to report but wish could have stayed longer
Inept, poorly trained and opportunistically cautious. And I'm speaking of one employee and the operations guy. I'm still in disbelief in the lack of comprehension. My 7 year old can't even wrap her mind around it. 2 big birthday parties are now not going to happen there. This is a reply to their reply: She has been waiting years to be tall enough and when she finally hit 48? she was ecstatic. I measure for a living. I measured her with no shoes and a speed square on the wall. Your guy seemed like he just
My Granddaughter had so much fun, especially since they weren't crowded due to Covid-19 restrictions. Zipline, wall, bouncing and more. Also they have hand sanitizer all around.
Pretty cool place a little on the pricey side I went on the weekend. It was super busy, but the kids had a good time.
My grandpchildren and I had a wonderful experience at this adventure park. The staff was friendly, the food was good and the rides and adventure was outstanding. My Grandchildren were so engrossed and engaged with the rides and adventure.
This indoor "park" is an excellent spot for birthdays. Every time I take my son, he has a blast! Unfortunately, the food isn't that great, especially the pizza. It's very doughy and the cheese comes off all at once.
This is our second time here. First time we had deluxe passes and pizza. This time, we all upgraded to platinum passes. I wish we could have stayed longer to try laser tag, bumper cars and more. But, we had to leave before we were done. Also, the kids loved the zipline so much they did not want to do anything else for a long time. Very clean, a little crowded and took a bit for food. But, it was amazing .
Well Tiffany is her name , Made my daughter get on a scale and that was to much I will never come back if they got to talk to you nasty and stuff never and I travel 3 hours away for this rude ass woman , racist stuff , learn how to talk to some one because she needs to be fired
From booking my sons party all the way to the end of the party was top notch customer service. Coming in the door for my party I had a mommy meltdown because my sons cupcakes and cake got ruined during transport and it seemed like all hope for a good day was lost. Our party hostess jumped right in and started trying to salvage the cupcakes and save the day and she did indeed save the day. We will be back
Simply a great local spot to let the kids of all ages play together! Yes, at 30 something I LOVE chasing after my 5 year old on the trampolines! And the zip line is awesome as well (up to 230lb adults can use that thing!!!!)
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
