We only tried to go to Top Golf because my buddy had a gift card burning a hole in his wallet...and still there was a 3 hour wait. Instead, we went to Uplink, and I can't believe I didn't know it existed in the area. This place was fantastic. Got a bay right away, and the technology gives you the closest experience you can possibly get to actually playing a round. We also got to analyze our stats and videos to help us get better. I will absolutely be coming back. The owner, Derek, was amazing. He even broug

Had a great lunch meeting at Uplink in KOP with a small business networking group. We played golf on the golf simulators and raced on the racing simulators. It was a blast. The location was set up nicely so we could conduct our business in a quiet room, food was brought in and set up for us. Once our meeting was done we had lots of fun.

It's a great place to sharpen your golf skills. They have 3 Golfzon simulators. The staff is friendly and always able to answer any questions.

I just had to take a minute to shout out this incredible business. I threw together a last-minute birthday party for my son, and I was blown away by the experience. The place is high-tech yet run with so much purpose and care. The staff truly made the day special, and my son and his friends had an absolute blast. Part of me wants to keep this hidden gem to myself, but they deserve all the success in the world. If you're looking for a unique and well-run spot, this is it!

Uplink KOP hosted the Berwyn Fire Company and our crews had a great time! The staff was so friendly and accommodating for our group. Uplink is a great spot for any team building or social events! Absolutely recommend for your next event!

Conestoga Rugby celebrated the end of the season at Uplink. It was a perfect way to celebrate! So much to do! Teens and parents had a great time tonight! Thank you!

Everything about Uplink is 5 Stars! The facility is beautiful, clean and has the tech to impress any gaming pro or beginner. The "Rocket League" league has been incredibly eye-opening for us as a family. Derek and Austin patiently and expertly coach the kids on sportsmanship, teamwork and presentation. Their code of conduct is thoughtful and thorough and they make sure that the kids learn the right (and wrong) way to be part of an online community while building confidence and social skills.

Found out about Uplink KOP through a friend who sent me an IG post. There are alot of indoor golf facilities that are in Montgomery County, but what sets Uplink KOP apart is their GolfZon simulators. The balls are automatically teed up and there are five different hitting surfaces to replicate fairway, light rough, deep rough, fairway bunker and greenside bunker. When you're putting, there's an LED light in the front of the putting surface to give you the line. The platform that you're standing on adjusts t

Absolutely rad golf sim bays. Super comfy, realistic, and fun. Gaming section also amazing, per my 12 year old son. Can't wait to go back. Kids game, adults golf!!!

Hidden gem for golf sim. Very high tech equipment. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Also have racing sims and PC gaming.

I wasn't sure what to expect but from the moment we arrived, I knew we had found a great spot! I attended a mixed-generation private event here and everyone had a blast. The set-up is great, there are so many things to do, and although it is tucked back in a business center it is in a very convenient location. We will definitely be back and I plan to host events here in the future.

My son has played several seasons in the Overwatch esports league and has made new friends that he has become very close with that share his gaming hobbies. Uplink does a great job promoting a positive encouraging environment pushing back on the negative stereotypes that sometimes get associated with gaming. Both my son and daughter have also done summer camp here and have had a blast which is saying something because they are very different personalities with different interest which can make finding a sin

As with the other location, Uplink in KoP is a FABULOUS place. At times its our second home! I love that my son gets to play with friends in person while gaming. Its a beautiful, clean facility and big! Something for the adults and the kids. Monthly membership is entirely worth it!! Thanks for all of your hard work, Derek!

Do you like video games? Do you like video gaming with friends? Do you like a spot that is for gamers, by gamers, and oh, has a really neat sim golf setup where you can play tons of courses all over the world? Go see Derek and Austin at Uplink!

Derek was fantastic explaining everything and it's very intuitive once you start golfing. We will be back for the racing sims and they also have gaming PCs and other stuff to do BYOB and food!

Attended an event here and it was great! Lots of cool stuff to do, great venue, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Uplink is a fantastic facility for all ages. Anyone interested in Esports or gaming should definitely check it out.

My son just finished a week of Roblox camp here and he and his friends loved it! He's already asking to go back. The facility is very nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful and all of the campers learned so much and had a ton of fun! We'll definitely be back!

Hidden gem for golf sim. Hands down one of the nicest sims I've played on in the area. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
