I didn't have any food.... But the place was cool, the bartender was very attentive and nice. The atmosphere was great and the games were classic, at classic arcade prices. If you like classic arcade and pinball. It's a no-brainer. Had an amazing time that, by today's standards, was crazy cheap. Well if you are well versed in old arcade games. They even have an old Paper Boy cabinet, which I haven't seen in at least 35 years.

We didn't have any pizza but the service was excellent and we were surprised and excited to see every game we played from the 80?s and 90?s. Skee ball was hard to get a spot but if you're patient just wait. The tokens last forever! Bathrooms were clean. We had a blast! We will definitely come back when it's warmer for the outdoor space.

Went for my birthday and got 40 free tokens. Mind you, each game costs like one token, so you can spend a fat minute there without breaking the bank. They even had an old Nintendo system you could play mario kart on. Pretty cool place with lots of game options.

super friendly staff and they take excellent care of their machines. i found two of my most favourite games that i haven't played in a few decades. i live in Chicago but will specifically be going back to to hang out here again

Visited Up-Down recently for a birthday. Fair selection of tap beers and ciders, seasonal cocktails, and canned beverages available. Option to order pizza and apps, and all the games you can things of, spanning generations. Great place to spend a rainy afternoon!

This place was so cool! The vibes, the atmosphere, the amount of retro games! I'm a gamer who was in heaven! We put $20 in and got 80 tokens, which we were sure wouldn't last long. How wrong we were! Each game only took one token, which gave us hours of fun! Plus, the bar staff were super nice, and the cocktails were tasty! My partner and I definitely said we have to visit again!

Didn't try the food but I'm sure it was good. No interaction with staff besides getting more beer, but I'm sure the service was great. The video games are absolutely amazing because everything is retro. All older games and even 80?s and 90?s movies playing on the TV sets. We honestly found this place via a Google search of things for my family to do while in town, and we totally lucked out that it happened to be a day where they were doing a family day, as normally it's a 21 and over place only, because it's a bar. Super fun atmosphere. Was very nice to just sit and enjoy a lot of the old school arcade games and a few new ones I've never seen before. Skeball always a classic. Lots of pinball machines downstairs and upstairs. Most of the games are one token and we went on a Saturday night and they were 2 for 1 tokens. $10 lasted us about 2 hours or so between two people playing.

Love this place. We don't bar much but when we do. It's up down! Pizza is always massive and taste. Great selection of drinks and games to play. Kept clean and organized. And they do fun events. Wins all around. Only thing they could do better is subtitles on all things playing on the tvs.

This place is so cool! I'm glad we stopped in. The pizza was fantastic, huge slices. The beer selection is extensive and good. Service at the bar was speedy. The games were awesome, some times we had to wait a bit but never for very long. It was nice. I had a good time, but it was these 2 ladies in there. Talking us and holding us praying for us. They're doing the most but I had a good time but I couldn't really have a good time with them. So great idea and great bartender last night and the other staff was nice as well. They have a lot of great deals for happy hour through the week and have a lot of great games. Well last night we had 40 tokens to play with and well at least half of the games in there did not work right. At 1st we would go up and say something and they were nice and gave us tokens back but then we just got frustrated with every time we went up to play a game and there would be something from a button not working and joystick

This place was a blast. The environment was fun and full of nostalgia. The games were only 25 cents and we took advantage of double tokens before 9pm. There were tons of gaming options so we were both entertained for hours. There were a few tight corners once things filled up but overall I'd recommend as a fun way to spend some time.

Ah-maz-ing!! What a fun place! We walked from Saint Kate to check this place out on a Saturday afternoon. We bought $20 worth of tokens and at 2 for 1 deal they had going we spent 2-1/2 hours there and turned in half our coins when we were ready to go. Manny the bartender was so awesome. We didn't eat there but spent a few hours playing games. They have something for everyone, even if you aren't huge on gaming. A good selection of old and new. We loved the giant Mario Cart screen. They have a full bar as well.

I absolutely love coming here. Whether it's with other people or by myself, it's very enjoyable. So many classic games and really cool pinball machines, and my favorite, skeeball. I spent $10 on tokens and played games pretty much nonstop for 1-1.5 hours.

A lot of games were down but its two floors of all types of games plus an outside patio and a large connect four game. This place definitely provides fun! A huge bar sits in the middle and the place has several token machines. I enjoyed myself!

My wife and I do love this place and we stop here a few times whenever we're in Milwaukee. You can't beat the price of pinball here, especially with some great drinks. Went for a birthday party. Was upstairs. Bartender was on phone constantly and was hard to get a drink. Seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Game selection is ok, but nothing remarkable. Sad that only one pinball machine was Stern insider connected. Would rather go to Garcade and get a drink from a nearby bar. Only strong point is location.

Cool place. Killer queen is free on Tuesdays and pizza is served here. When it gets late I think they close the kitchen but keep slices heated up.

This is a cool bar with decent drinks and fun machines My biggest issue with the place is the shape of some machines A lot of times ones we enjoy are out for months for repair, the CRTs sticks etc are not in great shape? etc. and that's a bit disappointing espicially if it eats your token It can get busy often but has been a fun hang out spot for retro arcade fun!

It's a gaming arcade for adults, seams very cool but there was nothing going on around 12pm, we just had a beer and left but it does look like it could be a good place to visit in the summer

Alright if you and your friends like retro games , the atmosphere was nice ...couldn't enjoy the outdoor area due to the screaming 20 year olds . At 1:45am they cut power to all the games . A better hangout spot is round one ..no drunken idiots

Place is amazing. All games 1 token, like it should be. Not all games were in the best shape but some of these machines have been around dealing with kids for 25 plus years. An expansive barcade with options galore, room to spread out and wonderful outdoor areas to make the most of the warmer days. You will have no trouble finding space to have fun here. Had a great time at this place. Atmosphere is fun with a mix of younger age groups to middle age. Plenty of space to move around and enjoy yourself. Such a fun place, the bar is 2 levels and the outside patio is roomy, the have private booths and games as well. The music kinda sucked but they have wrestling and horror movies playing on the monitors.

This place is always great. Especially if you love pinball. Everything is 1 token and you can often get deals where it is 2 for 1. Daily specials here too. I only wish they had family friendly hours to bring my adult yet under 21 year old kid.

This place was fun! My family and I went there for the Sunday event they hold every month and it was awesome!!! The pinball machines were incredible and they had tons of classic games to play. Overall a fun place and is family friendly when the place is open for everyone!

Overall it is a cool place to hang out. When it's busy the bar tenders take awhile but usually pretty good at what they do. I give it 3 stars simply because a lot of the games seem to be maintained poorly and only half work or have broken pieces which ruins some of the experience. The games that do work make it a fun time! The atmosphere is one of a kind for adult arcade bars in the area and the pizza is a good price for how large the slices are and is AMAZING tasting.

Fantastic bar with a ton of games and other activities, such as outdoor shuffle board. Two stories of fun right on Brady Street. The only thing stopping me from giving five stars is the inexperienced bartenders (they need some help with their mixology). Over all great place that I would return to and recommend to my friends.

Big fan of this place, been here 3 times now when i visit from the UK. Great music and choice of pinball machines. The jenga, connect 4 and SNES/GameCube are free to play which is good. Tokens are only 10c on a Thursday. It's even better in summer as the outdoor area is open with more games and a large screen. Pizza is decent, sometimes the skeeball takes a token and doesn't work but they come along and fix it when you let them know. Good place for some fun and drinks.

A retro arcade that serves alcohol. The atmosphere is geared toward the younger, hipster crowd. It was fun to try, but I'm too old for a place like this, haha!

Bartenders were really friendly. Game selection was pretty great. The outdoor patio is a nice touch. I enjoyed being able to easily get some fresh air. There's not a lot of parking but the building was small anyways so it doesn't really matter. The drinks were pretty reasonably priced too.

Pretty chilled spot on a Sunday. Most the games doesn't work. They took all my coins. The shots were good though and the pizza was good. I'll go again and recommend but they have to do better with the games!

All they have for food is all they need for food: pizza. They have classic and modern cabinets + enough pinball, skee ball, and hoops games to keep you entertained. This is a fun bar with a nice selection of games. I like the layout more than the Minneapolis location. More elbow room. I wish there was more people playing Killer Queen. That game is jam. We stopped by for a beer, great environment but a little too much going on for me for noise.

Was let in to play and then was approached and told we had to leave because it was a private party. The man at the door never stopped us nor was there any sign saying anything about it being private.
