Amazing store! Love the murals outside, then you go in and wow what a selection! It's even better than the last time we came by. Endless walls of neatly organized games. To make it even better they have a good size arcade room! Not as big as a dedicated arcade but still a nice selection of machines. Just an all around great game store. Nice folks. Absolutely worth a stop.

This is my most favorite hangout spot with my boyfriend. We went on our first date here, to test the waters, and needless to say, ever since I've been having a lot of fun here. I love the little trinkets that I get to collect as well! We have bought quite a few games from the store as well and they work very well. The staff is on their feet all day and are very helpful. The art on the outside of the building is super amazing and uplifting to look at!

This is by far my favorite video game store. I live in Saint Louis and I make sure to visit as much as I can when I'm on a Florida vacation. Helpful staff that know their stuff. Great for retro game collectors and the casual gamer as well. They truly value the gaming community. Strong emphasis on "community." The last Saturday event is a brilliant idea that brings the gamer community together. I wish more places would do that!

Unlimited Video Games Superstore and Arcade in Pinellas Park is a hidden gem for gamers. This place is packed with everything?from retro classics like N64 and PS2 to newer stuff like PS5. I could spend hours just looking through all the games. The arcade is also legit. For 8 bucks, you get unlimited play, and they've got a mix of old-school arcade cabinets and console setups. Super fun spot to hang out. The staff is cool and knows their stuff, and they even host monthly events with local vendors, DJs, and

Genuinely the best game store that I know of in Florida. Amazing selection of all types of games to buy, fun retro kiosks and an awesome arcade experience with tons of retro consoles and tvs to play on. Go check it out it's genuinely so sick. They also got a cat :)

I've been wanting to play NHL 94 On super Nintendo lately. My mother-in-law had an old console that she gave me and I went to unlimited, and they had NHL 94 in stock! I went home that night and realized that I needed the power cord and the RCA adapter to play it on my TV. Unfortunately, I went home and could not get the system to operate. I didn't know if it was the adapters the console the game or if I hooked it up improperly. I brought my console in the game and ad adapters up to unlimited and Rich was t

A great community has been built at this store. I aways love being a part of the community vendor events. They have a wide assortment of games on all different consoles and unique gaming merchandise aswell. Definitely a must check out game store.

I come here all the time! They have great consoles, games, cords, peripherals, figures, cards, everything video game-based! Really friendly staff. I've been coming to this place for years across four different locations and I couldn't be happier to see them thriving. They also usually hold monthly events and they have an arcade with lots of fun games. Even the patrons are polite and will play with you in the arcade. I am overjoyed that the H&R trains location is home to another amazing hobby shop. Keep up t

Very solid gaming store. They've got a wide selection of some classic and rare consoles as well as all the adapters needed to hook them up to a modern TV. We purchased a classic NES here and it ended up being a grey screen of doom. Brought it back and there was no fuss, they swapped it, tested the new one to make sure it worked and sent us on our way with a working device. The arcade looked fun, we just didn't get a chance to sit down and play. Neat place!

Quite literally my favorite place! Safe haven to lots, and a home of nostalgia to others. Staff is always so hardworking, and lovely to be around - and the atmosphere is overall extremely pleasant. I'm a collector of many games, and the pricing at this store is always wonderful, especially if you're someone like me - who sees the massive fluctuations and high expenses of collector games on online bidding + media. Not normally one to write reviews, but this place is everyone?s favorite, and I feel that it

Very cool spot! The store is clean and chock full of variety, yet not overwhelming by any means. The layout and organization makes sense, and there's plenty of space to walk past other customers; there was never a moment where it felt cramped. They mark any games that have reprinted cover art, which is helpful. The employees were very sociable and friendly. The only criticism I'd have is that some of the high-value games found around the store are a bit overpriced. Certain examples would be Fire Emblem: Pa

What a gem! Awesome place, amazing staff. Joshua was a big help, and I could tell he's genuinely dedicated to helping customers. Great prices, awesome inventory, fun arcade place for only $8 to play all day. Happy I found some games I forgot even existed, on the very nichey side, for all platforms and devices (Wii, Xbox, Gameboy, PC, Nintendo, Playstation, etc.) They also recently updated their website for deliveries; make sure you call first to ensure they have availability of the item in-stock before proc

The inside of the store was clean and well kept, as well as they carried a variety of different items pertaining to gaming from AC cords to older Nintendo cartridges. Upon entering there an option to turn left and right. left is the gaming store while right the the Arcade which for 8$ you can play all day. The staff was friendly unlike what you expect from most stores.

This is possibly the best video game store we've been to. It also has an arcade to the right as you walk in, which is an awesome touch. The layout is very organized and they have a wide variety of both games and consoles/accessories. Even older ones that you can't easily find anymore. We're not local to the area unfortunately but when we're in the area, we will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing. They have everything. A gamers dream. Traded in my old systems and games, bought a ps5. Living on cloud nine right now. Thought I might leave with a few games. Way surpassed my expectations. Art was cool. Staff friendly. Clean. Arcade was fun.

First time visiting Unlimited Video Games since it moved in at this location. The store is really cool and laid out well, all of the games are well organized and easy to find what you're looking for. They even have a retro "All You Can Play" Arcade for $8 which is super nostalgic. It has arcade style games and also tvs setup with game systems and games you can swap out. My only complaint is that most of the games in the store are extremely expensive. I know they need to make money, and sure some of the game

Rich, Jimmy, Landon, Josh, Patrick, both Greg(g)s, and any other employees I've encountered past and present are among the friendliest and passionate people in Tampa Bay. There are few others that show as much dedication to the preservation of gaming culture, and their business reflects that. It's more than a retail shop and arcade, it's a celebration of video gaming made by gamers for gamers. When everyone else pivots towards cheap trinkets and other media to stay afloat, Unlimited Video Games is out here

Unlimited Video Games is a MUST visit if you're ever in the area! I've been going here for over a year and they have never disappointed! Friendly & super helpful staff, amazing deals, endless options, AND their events are insanely awesome! Definitely recommend these guys for all video game needs! (Also, ask them about my favorite employee; Chip the cat??)

Absolutely the best store for all video gaming needs. Staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. If I have an issue with old or bad hardware, I am always given several options. You guys are the best!

Cool little spot to play and buy all kinds of video games. Staff is always super nice and helpful. Have me a great price for two old games

Video game fans....THIS IS THE PLACE! The holy grail of Video game stores, they have everything. After someone at another shop suggested checking this place out, I obviously had to oblige. The place is big but not huge, but it is PACKED with stuff. From NES to PS5, imports, Atari, and more, you have a selection of games, accessories for absolutely everyone. The store is run in 2 different ways, they have their own selection of products and then they have their "consignment" area which are cases of produc

Great gaming store with an arcade! Patrick and his team have an amazing selection of games for most systems. Thank you!

Visited Unlimited Video Games superstore for the first time today and was very surprised, they had a great selection of nostalgic games and most of them seemed fairly priced. Picked up Star wars battlefront front II, and it came with a seven day warranty. I'll be back in the future.

They have an amazing selection of games! I also seen a section with consignment items which is great as it adds to the already vast inventory of games. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can actually interact with them and they know what they're talking about. I will definitely visit this store again and highly recommended. The arcade also looks amazing !!!

Very cool place. I'm a late 80s kid and this place was a gem! All the old games I used to play along with the unlimited video game play was quite fun. If only they had time crisis, I would have been in retro heaven. Highly recommend!

They have a big collection of games. The prices seemed to vary widely with no obvious reasons why. Obviously, an unopened Legend of Zelda series game will be worth more than some random, loose Nintendo DS cartridge, but some games were much higher or lower than I would have guessed. They also has misc gaming at and accessories. The employees seemed nice enough. There is also an pay-to-play arcade, but we didn't check it out.

Not gonna lie, this place is really really neat. It definitely brings you back to your childhood of video games when you didn't have discs and only game cartridges. Their selection is out of this world, things you would only find at vintage stores but they have it here. It was really cool, I liked the environment and it was very chill in there. They do have an arcade room where it is all day play for $5 which was neat but we didn't take advantage of it at the time as we were just passing by and wanted to d

Great place to come and play arcades, buy retro games, game consoles, and other things like Poke Ball games N.A. d collectible. A great place to visit with your family. Come check it out.

Great atmosphere, wide selection of games and good deals to be had. Right away became one of my favorite game stores and a must stop when I'm in Tampa again. Was a smash bros. tournament going on when I dropped by they were announcing over the intercom.

Absolutely love this place. The arcade is a GREAT deal at $8 a pop for unlimited play. They have great retro arcade and console games, including my favorite, Area 51.

Gregg is a pretty cool guy, I used to own a business that did an event with these guys back when they went by a different name. you get five stars. Increase the average on the review stars hopefully.

Always a good time! They have markets at the end of the month throughout the year with fun raffles, cool artists and food trucks and are literally the sweetest people!

This store has treated me like a regular since the first day I walked in. Their trade value is so fair, that I REFUSE TO BRING IT ANYWHERE ELSE! While it's so easy for retro shops to overcharge for nostalgia, this place provides a fair and fun community in which I always look forward to going back. I've tried a number of stores in the area and nothing comes remotely close. Thank you guys for being you??

No one can deny the presence of the vintage game store. Every gamer has that one memory of a game scene, sequence, or gaming moment where something happened that defies the odds. These memories pop up every now and then and make us feel nostalgic. That feeling is amplified 100 fold when you step into Ultimate Video Game Super Store. The ambiance is a very clean, organized, well thought out floor plan of perfection. If it's not here, it can be in a day or two. They have it all, and I mean it, all of it!

Fun place, lots of selection and interesting pieces. Prices about on par for used games and equipment, give or take. Great arcade area - machines are in excellent shape, only $8 for unlimited playing, and huge selection of console systems to play. Not every day you see the ol Dreamcast set up for use!

Great group! Gave me extremely fair prices for my games and were very friendly and honest. Glad I sold my childhood game collection to them!

Prop top 5 gaming stores I've been in ever. Retro brought back alot of child memories with arcade games. All the cool stuff for sale consoles games etc.

I went there last weekend with my fianc? and my friend, the arcade was a nice addition, for only 8$ a person is a good price for unlimited games and the store selection was wide and has some awesome pieces. the 2 guys working the front were helpful!

Fun spot! Great arcade room unlimited games for only $8! A lot of cool retro games and paraphernalia. Super cool just browsing around

This place is like gaming heaven they have large displays from every console generation featuring genuinely good games from across all of video game history, More common stuff is available for you to pick up an inspect off of shelves the rarer things are inside of the glass cases as to be expected. Selection was impressive staff were friendly and greeted me at the door The arcade section was fantastic and had many great machines, 5 out of 5 I will be visiting this location again and I highly recommend you d

Our family had literal fistfights over Mario Party 4 ever since they first bought into the GameCube through my uncle who grew up on the classic and Super Nintendo, it was so played from many, many years that it eventually stopped reading. Started giving us the dreaded error reading game disc message so my mom ordered overnight delivery on one of those DiscDoctors. Ended up making it worse to the point I stumbled across the unlimited superstore of videogames here and saw the service provided for cheap. So we

Awesome store. Lots of awesome old games for really low prices. Got Thrillville PS2 for $6 and Street Fighter Assassin's Fist for $2. I got 2 framed pictures as presents for $25 each. The store is chock full of awesome games top to bottom, including older systems like Atari, Genesis, NES, SNES, PS1 etc. They also had an arcade. It looked cool but we didnt have time to stick around and play games. The sales associate was friendly and gave me 10% off my order, and my friend wanted to buy one pin and he told h

Best variety of games and accessories. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind to the guests.

This place is a must stop for us every time we're in town. Great selection, some really cool items, awesome staff, and just a fun place to poke around in. Plus we were lucky to catch one of their ?Last Saturday? events this visit, which was a great time!

Been going to them for years. Always helpful and they stand by all their products.

Cool spot. Crazy selection of old games. Plus an arcade!! I could spend hours in this place. It'll be my first stop for now on when I'm hunting for a classic!

I've visited retro game stores from coast to coast, and this is one of the best. Great selection, good prices, and a nice little arcade. Highly recommended.

It's a trip down memory lane. They have a really cool setup here and the staff are always down to help when needed.

Jousha was so extremely helpful and was amazing! I want to give him extra props for making my experience phenomenal. I'm definitely coming here again if I'm the market for used games. Unlimited Video Games Superstore has an amazing selection and I really like the place!

Unlimited video Games blows Game Stop out of the water!!!!! You couldn't ask for a better haven for gamers, anime lovers and all around cool people. The staff is always the nicest and no where else can u play arcade games including all the retro consoles for only $8 a day. Don't forget to get some food from Shiso crispy?s food truck and some snacks from inside. Bring your retro video games if you're looking to sell them and get a fair price for something that's collecting dust on your shelf.

Excellent selection of used games and consoles, helpful staff, and a nice retro arcade too.

Just left the store great place wonderful selection and the service was beyond incredible made us feel like we been coming there for years. I highly recommend were definitely be back????

This place is great! Been going here since it was still M&M. It's like a second home to me. The staff are friendly and cool. They have a variety of games and of course the arcade. I also like the events they do every last Saturday of the month. I just love this store!

Nice store but EXTREMELY OVER PRICED They have a bit.. yes but lord it's double if not triple from other stores.

I love this place so much ! Staff is always so nice and very helpful ! And I can find almost everything that im looking for !

Rich helped and tested the Xbox 360 controllers and excellent customer service. need more game stores like this one!

What an amazing retro store that still has new features and equipment. I guess the old saying is true you don't know what you missed until it's gone. Friendly staff and knowledgeable people work here. We will definitely keep coming here in the future.

super cool store!! they have TONS of cool (old & new) games and old consoles. people working there are really friendly too. they seem to pay very fairly for used games to, i was surprised with how much they gave me for some old games that gamestop wouldn't take! definitely recommend a visit to this place even just to walk around and soak in the nostalgia.

this place is sick it's definitely a spot you can go and just chill for hours. They got everything from the arcade to buying gaming consoles and more check them out .I'll definitely be back

Best Retro Video Game Store in the Bay!! Love it!!, fair prices!! Nes, snes, 64, sega master system, Genesis, everything!!

This place is great, but I really don't want anyone else to go here. That way, I can buy all the handhelds... Mwahahahahahahhahahahaha.....

I always find games and consoles at a fair price, and the staff is very friendly.

Wide selection of used games for all consoles. Great prices and super friendly service. Always doing fun events for the community and kids. Check it out. For $8 you can play hundreds of games all day long. It's truly unlimited video games.

This was a really cool place to visit! Vintage arcade games and you can play all day for only $8. I recommend giving it a chance if games are something you are interested in. The neon floor was cool too.

Went for a date night to play the arcade, totally worth the $8 per person unlimited play! We had fun

Cool store, $8 all day Arcade and any video-game supplies you can imagine

Very cool spot with a food truck! The owner is friendly and their collection is truly unique. I'm not even huge video game guy but I found myself on a nostalgic rollercoaster walking around.

So my review is a bit late but I had to say I loved walking through this well organized and well stocked store. They have a great variety and even an arcade on one section. I was blown away by the boxes and boxes of accessories, cables, controllers etc etc etc. I bought a super nes game for the wife a cold soda to quench her thirst and for myself after this I bought a great bag for my ps4 pro for ten dollars! We'll have to go back when we're in town. Thank you so much for the experience.

We were vendors at their kpop event. Great location. Very well advertised. Lots of food trucks

I have to give it 5 stars. I found a game I've been missing since it was stolen from me in 1987 at this location - very rare find. Almost every system is represented (including colecovision and 7800). The prices are definitely a little high, but not high enough that you need to back out of every deal. Some games I did have to pass on because they were too much higher than I was willing to pay - but that's on me for being too poor. If you are within a 30 min drive and want retro games... it's worth it.

I've been coming here for years and they've never let me down. Everyone is very nice and helpful but Gregory always goes out of his way to make each visit a great one. So grateful for this store!

I love video games especially retro, and I have been coming here for years, they have everything! This is the best video game store I have ever been to. Don't waste your time at GameStop, when you can come here! The staff is awesome and man the arcade is beautiful. Always a good time here, I love this store. 10/10

Highly recommended. They are always friendly and very honest when making purchases. Everything is well organized, and all their systems look really good. Been coming to them for years since their days off of 54th Ave and everywhere they have gone I have followed. Best in the Bay.

Unlimited Video Games Superstore and Arcade is one my favorite places on earth. Every time I go there the staff is always friendly and welcoming. This is truly a hidden gem that I highly recommend. 10,000 outta 10 absolutely recommend

Went looking for a Sega Game. Sonic The hedgehog 1 they not only had it but it had the case, instruction book and original poster that came with the game all for only 12.99. Same game just the Cartage only at Gamestop 9.99. also this is a 100% real not a repro like you could get from Gamestop because they don't care . Local owned with knowledgeable staff. Very Easy People to Deal with. I will return there over Gamestop any day.

Really nice retro gaming store with an arcade attached. Excellent selection of older games especially SNES Genesis and NES. Picked up a really cool Atari Switcher accessory I had never seen before and some other games that I had been hunting. The gentleman working the counter hadn't priced it yet and worked with me to come up with a reasonable offer as I was buying other items as well. Nicely organized, excellent stock, and friendly and helpful staff. My only issue is the pricing is a little bit high on s

It's the only place in town to find quailty vintage games and consoles. Has a game room too. 5 stars ??

Fantastic place with amazing selection and very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of the merchandise. THIS is how it's supposed to be done.

I am so grateful we have this place! Great selection of games and hardware, and good prices! Hard to find a place with this extensive of a selection (and really nice workers). I hope it's around forever.

Good selection nice environment, friendly, but prices need adjusting

The employee was great advising me on a system that would be best for me to get for the games I want to play and was so respectful for and details I asked about... thank you for all your help

I already knew this place was great but after the staff were so kind and patient with my 4 year old as he used his own money to buy some pokemon toys, I had to leave a 5 star review. Everyone here is awesome!

Selling a free wii game for $20+ MSRP. -Suggesting a website called "pricecharting.com" -Manager who stands around and does nothing when customers pile in.

This place is awesome. Staff is super reasonable and helpful and are very fair with their prices, and they really care about their customers. The sheer amount and dedication to providing a really fun environment is truly amazing and i appreciate the events and services they provide for the community. Because GameStop could never?.. Arcade is a good deal too, and they have a great selection that they cycle out occasionally.

Charming spot for various retro video games and consoles, recommend a visit!

This place is great, big selection of video games both new and old but I showed up for the arcade and wasn't dissapointed! It was on free play on a weekend, and you have no idea how hard it is to find a working house of the dead these days. Staff was great too

My fianc? loves this place and it has decent prices and lots of cool stuff.

One of the only places I know that has a single cover for all you can play Arcade Games. They have like 20- something cabinets, retro systems set up (Sega, Nintendo, PS1), and a stage for rock band and smash Brothers. Great place to play Gauntlet with friends. The even have little local artist pop-ups on the last Saturday of the month. I got a cool bracelet from the Raffle! They also have a huge selection of retro games, great stuff.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
