So great to have this in Harrisburg! So many things to do... Good food (the buffalo chicken dip was my favorite... Not seen here bc I failed with my video lol), nice bar, bowling, Axe throwing (which is super fun because of the different games you can choose from), arcade games! Very cool place to hang out for all ages.
My family loves this spot! The bar is my personal favorite aspect of this place, Amellia is super helpful! The menu is great with a lot of options for the whole family. The VR game is my personal favorite in the arcade. Love love love this place! It's a great addition to the community! 11/10
Great Family entertainment, Bowling, arcade, Ax-throwing, and Food! The food is reasonably priced and all our orders tasted great. The kids had a great time playing games at the arcade, the game selection was awesome! A great place for the family or adult groups ( did I mention you can order adult drinks too!)
An awesome & fun experience for ALL ages!!! My husband?s boss had the Christmas party at Union social. Everyone?s family was invited & everybody had a great time. The staff & facility are excellent. This is the BEST place to have a party whether it's birthday, work, or just hanging out. They even had my son?s shoe size (men?s 18)! We will definitely be coming back!
We celebrated my son's 18th birthday at Union Social with a group of 20 people. I worked with Rachelle who is the Director of Operations and Events. Communication from the beginning was super and thorough. From the minute we arrived until we left, we had an AMAZING time. Bree and Malachi were the main two employees who worked with our party. They did everything they could to make sure our party was fun and that we had all that we needed. For food, we had a taco bar which was stocked with more than eno
Wow!!! This place definitely has it all and then some! We are always on the lookout for places and activities that our entire family can enjoy together. Our group of 11 range in ages from 7 to 60 and Union Social offered something for all of us! From food to arcade games, bowling to axe throwing there was never a dull moment. I would highly recommend Union Social for your next family outing. I promise you and your family will be so glad you did!!
Good service. Got some drinks and then played some games. We weren't very hungry so we all shared the Cubano. Something about it was different and delicious. I feel like it was the pickles. Highly recommend the Cubano.
We have tried to go and support 3 different times. First one was with a large group for 2 hours of bowling. We were called 30 minutes before that one of the lanes was broken no big deal we'd get a gift card to refund us that lane. Get there no one know anything about it or who called us as it wasn't the manager manager on site. He was great and assisted with setting us up with everything but we ended up with half the group axe throwing and half bowling (it was family Christmas with our kids so being separat
I went here with my 11 year old grandson and the food was amazing, we were seated basically immediately and they took our drink order the second we sat down. It took 15 minutes to be seated and get our food and drinks, amazing service. The staff were really friendly. The prices for the game cards are reasonable, but the amount of credits for each game is absurd. But an overall great experience.
We had our Avera Imaging holiday party at Union Social, and it was an amazing experience! The food arrived quickly, the drinks were flowing, and the wait staff was outstanding. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone had a blast enjoying the arcade games, bowling, and axe throwing. It was the perfect venue for a fun and memorable gathering. Highly recommend Union Social for any group event, celebration, or even a casual date night! We'll definitely be back!
Every staff member we encountered from the host, server, arcade staff and management were all incredibly kind. While they are a new business and likely still working out the kinks with wait times, various arcade games having some error codes, this did not ruin our experience. The staff were beyond willing to help make our experience memorable & our food was amazing! Excited to make this a regular stop for our family.
Went here for a last minute date night and it was sooo fun!! The atmosphere and lighting is very cool and the projectors are a plus! On top of that their food is AMAZING!! We got the Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza and a Union Burger. I will say that it was one of the best burgers I've ever had without a doubt. Their prices were also great for what you get and cheaper than any other place around Sioux Falls! I would highly recommend checking this place out! It is well worth it.
Shout out to Union Social in Harrisburg for helping us celebrate the Islanders and Phoenix Rising State win and invite to the World Robotics tournament. We had such great service for our spontaneous large group! Food, bowling and games were an all around good time! We will be back!
The food was delicious, drinks were well mixed, the bowling was fun and they have a nice arcade. Only thing I didn't enjoy is the axe throwing, to be fair I have been disappointed in all of the projector based ones I've used.
Was recommended by a friend but thought - not a bowling alley- but was pleasantly amazed how different and delicious the food was. Over the Top and service was excellent!! Don't pass this restaurant up!
Had a family bowling night. Was absolutely the best time. Clean facilities with plenty to do for everyone of all ages. Servers are amazing. Can't wait for our next adventure together at the Union Social.
Great place, great atmosphere. Food is really good and fair priced. Take the kids let them play the arcade. Or let them jump on the trampoline park that is connected while you realxe and try one of the burbon drinks that are fantastic. Bowling and also six lanes of throwing real axes at real wood with a digital protector. Pretty cool. Also can book small or large parties.
As a family we love spending quality time together, having fun, laughing hard and making memories. We're definitely known at Thunder road as "the family" who takes Lazer tag and Go Karts a little to seriously. Competitiveness is in our nature! UNION SOCIAL!!!!! Finally someone got it right! Located in Harrisburg next to Air madness Union Social hit nearly every attribute a family needs for a night of fun. Party of 4 Mom, Dad, 19 and 17 yr old Pricepoint: ?????????? Reservations were made online an
Bowling staff unresponsive. Wasted 15+ minutes trying to get the lanes set up. Not good when you're paying by the hour. Not kid friendly if there are more than 2 families bowling. I advise going sometime when it's not busy, otherwise you're just wasting money. Update: Be sure to double check the prices before you pay. They charge way more than the price on the menu.
This place is amazing! The first time I walked in I was blown away. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. There is so much going for it. It has amazing food, bar, beautiful bowling alley, state of the art axe throwing and an arcade with a brilliant assortment of games. There are so many things they offer. This is the ultimate place to go to for parties, just a night out, or to grab a bite to eat.
OWNERS, HEAD HONCHO'S PLEASE LISTEN TO ME Justin (Manager) is the MOST kind, caring, thoughtful, and helpful person I HAVE EVER MET! We have been to Union Social on a number of occasions and EVERY SINGLE TIME Justin is there to help my kids with anything! He is NEVER annoyed by them and we never feel like he is trying to hurry us along. I will apologize for my kid bothering him when I could help and Justin kindly says, It's not a problem. It's my job, it's what I am here for and I am glad to help! If there
Went for the first time tonight with a small group and we had a blast! The food was great, the place was spacious with a ton of fun options packed into this building. Arcade, ax throwing, bowling. It was all reasonably priced and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Reserved a bowling lane for 5pm on a Saturday. Arrived on time, 3 people standing behind the counter not helping anyone, had to ask them to check us in. Seemed bothered we interrupted their conversation. We start bowling and i go to the bar to ask if we can get 3 sodas they said they have servers for the lanes and will send one. No one shows, go back up told the same thing. Finally after the 3rd time i said ive been told a server would come so just someone here take my order as 4 people just standing
I was blown away by this place. The prices for all the activities were very reasonable! This place is special and will be putting Dave and Busters out of business soon. Food was great, and it had better activities compared to Dave and Busters. Staff was amazing too. I can't wait to go back!
Im a little disappointed to be honest. Compared to most arcades this place was expensive and games did not last long at all. A good amount of games were not working. Most claw machines were out of prizes. Bowling was completely booked for the whole day and the mixed drinks were average to say the least.
HORRIBLE! First warning should have been when I was looking at the packages and wanted to buy the $500 one but had a couple questions so I called Union Social and a woman answered and said she didn't know anything about the packages and gave me an email for any of my questions. So I booked jumping separately from the basic bowling package for 10 people. I stopped in the day before and spoke to the manager and advised him that my party is going to be 15-17 people. The manager advised there is plenty of se
Had a great time at Union Social. The staff was incredibly professional & timely, The food surpassed all of my expectations and the candied old fashioned was exceptional.
They shouldn't market this place as somewhere you can go bowling because the lanes are always reserved. I think it should be first come first serve so that people don't waste their time driving out there just to leave..
Arcade games are way overpriced. Prizes for tickets are also way overpriced. Not a big variety of arcade games but the bowling was fun at least
Haven't had a chance to actually go yet, but I had made reservations and was double-charged. And nothing was actually booked as it wasn't actually available. They had awesome customer service. Tristen helped me get it all fixed right away! I can't wait until I can go and check out everything at another time!!!
Very very slow service. Bowled for an hour was supposed to start at 4:45 but they moved us back half an hour with no notice. They had menus in the bowling area but no service there for drinks or food. Went to eat at the restaurant section and food came out cold after an hour of waiting.
Service was amazing food was amazing!!$
Our family had a blast bowling, the food was delicious and quick and the service was really good! We will be back!
I would not consider this kid friendly. Bar is the main focus and it definitely showed.
What an amazing facility and experience. There was entertainment for all ages. The staff was great, the food was yummy and atmosphere was electric. We will be back!
Great!!! The food is amazing!!! And the bartender Molly is so amazing! We go for the food but we stay for the service!!
So fun and not too expensive. Courtney in the restaurant part is the absolute best!
Wonderful experience, even better environment with top shelf customer service. Excellent everything
It's okay but don't plan on bowling. Lanes are always reserved
Fun place, with great food and drinks, as well as a cool atmosphere. Great value for a night out with friends.
Great place for some family fun! The staff was awesome, and food was great. Would definitely recommend.
Awesome atmosphere and food was really good. Fun for the entire family, well be back!
Messed up our reservations on bowling and axe throwing. The guy overseeing the axe throwing was totally unprofessional!
Really fun place! There is something for everyone.
Neat place for a work event. Thank you for hosting us!
Don't go there for the food.
Great new place! Friendly staff and lots to do!
Great food and service!

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
