We had an amazing time checking out this arcade. We've been to a few others but Uncle Joe's has them all beat. The games are really fun and not at all impossible. Tokens are reasonably priced. There are soooo many prizes to pick from and their prices are not out of reach like so many other places. We played for a couple of hours, spent about $100 and walked away with new memories, a bunch of small toys, some plushies, and a 5 foot shark plush. Way better experience than any other place. We got to meet the o
We go to Uncle Joe's arcade frequently. It is so much fun for my 9 year old and myself! I think it's definitely reasonable and way more fun than the other local arcades. Cool prizes too. Highly recommend!
Was playing Knight Rider pinball. The right flipper kept sticking. I called the attendant. He walked over and pushed the button several times and it stuck at least once. Then he kept hitting the button and it seemed like it was working OK .He stood there as I played and said ?these things will make a liar out of you every time ? I wasn't sure how to feel about that comment. Next thing you know the flipper stuck again. He gave me the 2 tokens listen mustache man. Be respectful, not confrontational and insul
Even though I'm a grown woman, when I noticed this arcade in the Plymouth Meeting Mall, I couldn't help going in and reliving many fun times of my past playing arcade games with friends. There's a large assortment of games, retro as well as current. Definitely worth a stop, it was lots of fun. And to make it even better, you don't have to pay to get in like other big chain (D&B) places.
We had my son?s 6th birthday party at Uncle Joes and they were incredibly accommodating. They had everything set up and were extraordinarily friendly and generous. They were extremely patient with the kids. I would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a great venue.
Good experience for the kids. authentic gameplay, realistic expectations of winning, real tokens go Into the machines, real tickets come out. Recommended
For our family, Uncle Joe's is definitely the crown jewel of the Plymouth Meeting Mall. This old school arcade is probably the only place where my preschooler, high schooler, and me all have an equally good time. 150 tokens for $20?? A prize selection that puts Dave and Buster's to shame??! Count us in!!! Love you, Uncle Joe's fam!
Step into the kid zone and drop adult headaches at the door. Love this place. Pinball Queen from way back
Always stop and play here after we go to Lego land. My daughter and I love claw machines and this is one of the only arcades we have ever gone to where you don't feel like they are trying to rip you off.
Super clean and friendly staff! We (2 people) only spent $20 and was able to play for well over an hour, what a great value! The prize rack! What a pleasantly refreshing surprise (was expecting the typical rubber balls and such) dense, plently of variety and fun/useful things. Man behind the counter was awesome and definitely loved his job. Very engaging and patient. Absolutely would've stayed longer, most definitely coming back! *Went at 11am (we perfer less people, and a quieter atmosphere) a good time f
Our kid loves this place. $20 gets us an hour of him playing games. I love that this arcade uses actual tokens and tickets for prizes.
Wow!! I had such a great time here today!! My friend and I stopped by while roaming the mall. Not only that the owner was super kind and gave away extra prizes to my friend even though he didn't have that many tickets to cover it all. He only cared about making him happy. And that simple kind hearted gesture let me know he is definitely a business owner I want to support!! In this day and age, it seems like big brand names are the only ones winning. I hope and pray the community will visit this place and
Generally clean with traditional machines, but disappointed in how they treated my toddler daughter. She played a game, which then "broke" and spit out a bunch of tickets. She was excited to get something from the rack. The manager made the poor decision to take ALL of the tickets without offering a prize, due to the supposed malfunction. She would've been happy with something small, a little dinosaur or something. I understand it was broken, but that wasn't her fault, and it was greedy to not give h
Excellent! The tokens take you back to your younger days. Dave and his team were extremely accommodating. Could not have picked a better place for my daughter?s eighth birthday party. Shout out to Morgan - Thank you for everything!!
Great games (that are actually functional), great prizes, and really kind staff for an overall decent price compared to most other arcades! Just great. My kids love coming here and it's always a good experience.
We had a blast here. Tons of prizes in the prize section with a variety of prize levels. The most I've seen outside of a boardwalk style arcade. Your child will find something they like and won't be disappointed even if they didn't win a ton of tickets. Some of the machines were broken, but that is to be expected with the older games. We will definitely return.
The owner of Uncle Joe's is so courteous and engaging!!! This is an amazing place to take a child under 5. We had so much fun on the games and ice hockey tables. I love that you get alot of tix and can redeem them with ease.
My 9 year old had a blast at Uncle Joe's today. He made his $20 last him about an hour and he won so many tickets! The owner was incredibly nice. We'll be back. :-)
Great value. Good variety of machines. Fun to let the kids have a blast and also a great selection of pinball machines if I go with a friend
I've been here several times probably over 20 There was a very strange employee, punching himself in the head very very rude and disgruntled went to fix the arcade because they all break consistently used a large knife waving it around. He probably shouldn't be working at a children?s place. Will never go back.
Visited on Wednesday, got an awesome discount on tokens. I enjoyed playing the "antique games". It was fun playing games that were fun and not just for tickets. I also like how many prizes there were.
Love bringing my toddler here, but the younger games in the back of the arcade keep breaking and they don't fix them. Please fix them!
Uncle Joe?s Arcade is a blast! We bring all our company here and it's so much fun for kids and adults too! Definitely worth checking this place out, if you haven't already!
Arcade was clean and not too busy. A few good games, like skee/ice ball, air hockey, basketball theme games, shooter games, etc. But since this arcade is token based, there were a lot of the coin pusher scam games. Also a relatively small arcade
Lots of fun and cheap! Stay away from the claw machines though...they count down from 30 but the claws drop at 25.
Love the variety here. Nice people, great floorplan layout. Don't forget to get the punch card. Every 10 visits get $10 of free tokens!
Affordable fun and great staff ????
Cute arcade that is cheap and I like the selection of pinball machines that they have. I wish their claw machines were a bit better but overall it's a fun little arcade
Pinball! Prizes! and lots of tokens, kinda of like being on the boardwalk. Staff was nice to talk to. Definitely going back.
The best arcade I've ever visited. My son and I go every weekend. Dave and his team are wonderful.
Kids love it. Prices are great. Ton of prizes. Oh yeah heading there today
Best arcade. Great games and great prizes.
Great price, good equipment, FUN All the way!!! 4 1/2 out of 5 STARS!
Awesome atmosphere. Great selection of pinball machines.
My grands loved it. A nice mix of vintage & new games.
All the machines are broken!
Excellent place! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.
Great place with awesome staff :)
Love this place I will continue to come here with my boys
Great old time games. Expensive to take kids.
So friendly! Great games.
Great affordable arcade place
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
