UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Harrah's Cherokee

Attended during local school spring break. Liked the daily discounts and bowling alley service attendant, got our food order & didn't have to wait in line. Didn't have to wait for open lanes as it had upstairs lanes. Kids loved the touch screen controller for our roster list. Will come back.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat here. We had the grilled chicken quesadilla, fruit, and chips with salsa/pimento cheese. The pimento cheese had good flavor but was right out of the refrigerator and was difficult to eat with the tortilla chips. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Quesadilla was really good! Prices were very reasonable for resort food. Waitress was not very attentive after taking our order. Overall pleasant experience here.

Friendly staff, good prices, very clean. Great food as well. Huge selection of balls. Lanes in great condition. My only complaint is the parking was horrible. The signs are not clear for self parking and ended up parking about 15 minutes away. They really need to put clear signs for the self park area which is the casinos fault, not the bowling alley

Best food around, waitresses always polite and helpful, would rater eat there then anywhere around, honestly the food is great and reasonably priced, try it out and you will not be disappointed

The kids had a blast bowling and playing games, my husband and I sat on the outside patio relaxing for a bit while they got some energy out. It was great! Food could be a little cheaper but it was great!

It was fun bcuz we had a great group to go with! But...the wait was terribly long! An hour and a half! They had a great system to let you know when your lane would be available. The arcade is fine, and the bowling is neat. Service and food beyond horrible. Wings dry and tasted horrible. First we wanted to switch sauces and waitress said she already entered it in and would be too hard to run to kitchen. Wings were overcooked and horrible tasting. Rude staff! Told no lanes because of a wait list, which we could not get on. Plenty of lanes empty and within 2hrs of closing time. Last, told 930pm last call for food. Turned away at 927pm! My family couldn't get any food. Employees don't want to work. Not happy when I'm spending thousands to stay and play.

We always have a good time here. It's such a big bowling alley and the fact that there's a decent restaurant and bar is a plus.

There's a lot to do here including the bowling but there's lots of fun games and 2 levels which you can take an elevator or stairs. They have bowling upstairs and downstairs. The lanes are well maintained and the bowling balls are nice for house balls. It's a very modern nice high tech bowling lanes. There's a lot of fun choices for games to play solo or to compete with someone for good competitive fun.

The food is usually good. I will give them that. They lack in customer service. Half of the place is empty and yet you have to wait to be seated (30-40) minutes. The good is still slow to come out even then. Management lies and does not care about customers. It is apparent they do not give a flying flip if you come to their restaurant or not. They get their paychecks either way and it shows in the way they treat customers.

There's lots to see and do here from games to bowling. The lanes are nice, the prices are great and there's plenty of activities and games to do there for hours of entertainment. There's 2 levels and lanes on both levels. Great place for the family and fun for all of all ages. They have both a staircase and an elevator to go from the upper to the lower level.

Very well maintained bowing areas. Staff was very helpful. Plenty of seating, and house equipment to use Food was great. My only complaint was that there was no one manning the bar at the top level where we had a lane, and the signs to get to bowling from the outside were not very clear. Great time tho

What a nice surprise to find these lanes in the casino! Enjoyed a few games with friends. Bar was open, but no food - likely due to lack of workers. Desk staff very helpful and nice. Didn't have my ball/shoes with me, but their equipment was in great shape. Highly recommend as an alternate entertainment option while visiting. Easy in and out if you aren't already at casino. Well done Harrah's.

This is a nice bowling alley, the front desk was very welcoming. The young woman at the desk asked if I was military; I said yes she thanked me for my service and we had a quick convo about the military! My daughter and I started bowling and wanted to order drinks. We hit the service call button and waiting 10 + minutes; noone showed up. I Had to go to bar, so why have a Service button?! all of the workers near the bar looked exhausted and were not helpful at all.

Super cool place to bowl and the food was fantastic! Brought the kids and they loved it as well. The service was over the top good and our server was bi lingual so she was able to communicate with the hispanic couple that brought us there. Just an all around good experience.

Edit: management is better, and with that, service has drastically improved. This place was fairly new at the time of my original post, so it was just getting on it's legs at the time, but they have taken the first year into account, and have successfully adapted to the type of business they should expect on slow, and high-volume days. We live close so we come here often. Came by tonight and Zane was the best server! He was super nice and made sure we were well taken care of even though he was serving like half the lanes. Really good guy!

First time there and We had a Fun family night and had 2 lanes, one for the 2 and 3 yr Olds girls..they absolutely loved it and 1 for 6 adults. Food and drinks were great too! Great staff too!

Staff was unattentive waited 15mins or more and no one ever asked what I was drinking. I had to get up walk to the Hostess and ask if I had a waiter. Just to see my waitress was just socializing and walking around. They wasn't busy at all a lot of open seats.

Had my daughter's 7th birthday party here. Pricey but well worth it. The kids and adults had a blast bowling and playing in the arcade area. The staff was very helpful and on top of things making sure we had a great experience. One of the kids said it was the best birthday party he'd ever been to.

Sarah was a terrible waitress who barely spoke to us as she tried to get her tips up by rubbing her nasty body all over the married men at the Lane beside us. This is probably the worst place to eat in the area. Both burgers burnt, side dishes tasted liked they were smoked, marinara sauce was half water and the waitress never came to check on us. Worst experience at this casino.

Great place and the specials are actually really reasonably priced. The reason for my three star review is because the management needs to do some major work. The service is very bad and slow, there are a lot of workers standing around looking lost. We were there twice on two very light days (not much business). It took a good 30 minutes to get a corona.. finally we just gave up, paid our tab with cash and left. Please work on training your employees and the place will be great.

I loved it. The staff were so nice. This is a very popular place in Cherokee, NC and if you have never went there, I suggest you do. It's full of family fun whether you are wanting to go bowling or hangout in the game room or just have lots of fun and do both.

Took our family of 5 for bowling - cleanest bowling alley we have ever been to! It was on a Thursday when they have all-day bowling for $9/person. Kids did the all-day arcade as well (addl fee) but everything was close so they could easily switch between bowling and the arcade. Food is available to order which is brought to your lane. The BBQ Brisket Grilled Cheese was excellent. Soft drinks had free refills. All staff were very courteous and helpful.

Comfortable lane setup including couches and waiter/waitress service to all the lanes. The food was serviceable bar/pub usuals. The actual lane gave me issues as it recorded several of my shots as fouls when I did not cross the foul line. Not a problem for causal bowlers though.

The drinks were awful, but a cheap place to bowl! I think it was $10 a game and $3 shoe.

We came here for my birthday this past weekend. You all were dead as a doornail around 5:30 on Saturday. We went upstairs to play pool and get a drink because we don't have children. I stood at the bar for 7 minutes before I could get the attention of the bartender. We had never been here, and asked how to play pool. She said we needed to go downstairs to get the stuff. Fun but service was horrible!!! Waitress was in a super bad mood! Never smiled got orders wrong and shrugged when told about it. Wasn't just us either, 3 other groups heard us talking to the manager and they came over and told us she was that way with them too.

This is my fav entertainment with visiting family. Six of us bowled 4 games and had gin and tonics. We laughed. We got silly. We had fun. The center is beautiful. The service is quick and friendly. Especially best on a cold or rainy day.

This is the place to be in Cherokee! Especially if you have children. The staff is exceedingly friendly, the place is always clean, and they always have something special going on. We took our (now) 6 year old here for his birthday party. Approximately 12 of us showed up at the restaurant beside the arcade for a bite to eat, followed by cake, before playing games. It. Was. AWESOME!!! Everyone had a BLAST, adults included. We HIGHLY recommend!!!

This place was recommended to us by a family member. The staff was super friendly as we didn't know how to go about to sit for food and they were all really helpful. The food was delicious and bowling was fun for 4 of us including a 3 year old.

1 star on 01/07/2019 Poor service. Orderd a Wedge salad that is supposed to have blue cheese crumbles, no blue cheese but it had parmesan cheese. Salad and steak arrived at the same time about 15 minutes after everyone else in the party received their meals. Only about 4 tables of people and about 10 employees walking around. We went bowling here at night and it was pretty nicely set up. The bowling itself was all right but the workers there were very rude. We ordered food and they had accidentally put cheese on my wife's order and our hostess sent it back to the kitchen. They simply brushed most of he cheese off and covered it with some more sauce. The bowling lanes are great for passing time and having fun but I did notice 2 things about them. Firstly, The shoes are nowhere true to size nor do they fit well. They're entirely velcro and never fit correctly. I normally wear a size 11 in men's but had to wear a size 9 and they were still too big/loose. Secondly, the lanes are not wooden like traditional lanes which changes how the ball reacts when trying to hook. During the time of covid they have half the machines down. Also they clean the lanes between people which is nice but at the same time it takes forever! So we paid for unlimited and only got to play for 3 hours because they needed to clean the lanes up but they didn't because it was 745 and they close at 10?

Super cool. Super vibrant. All the games are in working condition. They need to add more games and make it a real arcade. You valet park and cash have easy access but if you self park then it's 15 min walk through casino to get to the arcade.

This place only gets three stars because my daughter and her cousin had so much fun bowling. The food was terrible! Came out at room temperature and poor quality. Food was expensive for quality. The WORST food I've ever had for how expensive it was. I started by having the hostest not seat me. The workers reserved us when we weren't here then told us our lane was ready when they said it would take 30 min and they weren't supposed to put us on a waitlist when we weren't at the casino. We have been bowling here for some time. It was great before the pandemic. Now, however, their mask policy has driven us away. You must have your mask over mouth and nose, even while in the act of throwing the ball, even when no one else is closer than 20 feet! Have they ever tried that? Nice new lanes and center. Food is great, but when we go to the employees with a safety concern and it is brushed off with "some people want to slide, but you don't see the pros sliding" it does not make me very happy. They did not even bother to go look at the spot on the floor.

Masks are back and enforced with pure brutality. Wasted $90 trying to have fun with my kids. I was 6 minutes late to the text of confirmation that our lane was ready and the gentleman at the front said if you are 5 minutes late we give it away. We waited an hour for a text and my husband was so mad he left. Then their system kept texting us to tell us our lane was ready continuously for 2 hours i had to text stop back to get it to stop.
