Tyler's Tender is such a sweet restaurant for train loving kiddos and anyone young at heart! It is spacious inside with plenty of special spots at the counter where the train brings you your food. The whole place was very clean and the staff were so friendly! They offer a great menu selection for everyone and the prices are VERY reasonable in my opinion. Diner feel to it. Kids 12 , 4, 2 liked the train delivering food. It's a kids place. The chicken tenders were good. My mushroom burger was subpar. Has a chuckee cheese feel to it with the games and you don't have to deal with ghetto people. The staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like was paying for the train ride. I think it should be included with the meal but it was only a dollar.

We went for a birthday party. Very child-oriented and family-friendly venue. My son loved the train ride and arcade. I only wish the times for the party lasted longer because we had to drive far to get to it.

We showed up with a party of 8. We got seated quickly, and served quickly. Everyone loved their food! The Homemade chips are a must! The arcade has been updated and a lot of fun for the littles. We all thought the waitress was the best waitress we've ever had anywhere. I wish I got her name before we left. She was really amazing and handled our little toddler well when she kept asking for the train. I love bringing family from out of town here and will continue to do so! Clean establishment with great service and food. Healthy options as well as burgers and tenders. Kids stay busy and the resustaurant is the perfect size to keep your eyes on the kids at all times. We enjoyed the chicken wraps and pizza. The milkshake was perfect! We will be back. Service was on point and the staff worked together as a team to make the magic happen!

Kids enjoy sitting at the counter so the train brings the food. They have a small arcade in the back. Nicely hidden lol that way if its your 1st time your kids only find it if you let them. Food is very good! If I give the kids a choice of McDonald's or here they want to go here and I'd rather spend the time and money here!

Coolest place to take your kids to eat. The food was great and the train theme is spot on. The food even comes out on a little train set. The staff is beyond nice and patient with the kids and even had someone take the kids on a little train ride inside the restaurant. The kids loved it. Our kids love it here. Food is excellent. The staff is kind and accommodating. Always look forward to our experience here. The train table is interactive so you can make the lights come on in buildings, make trains move, etc. sitting at the bar is fun because the train brings you your food. Cute place for a kids birthday party. The arcade was fun. My kids loved it. Some of the individual pizzas for the kids were burnt on the bottom and one came out uncut. They did end up slicing the pizza after being asked to and re made the burnt one that was sent back. I have celiac and couldn't eat the pizza but they can make their burgers/sandwiches in a lettus wrap. Fries were good too.

Affordable, and extremely kid friendly place. The food, atmosphere, and arcade are all going to be great to a child - not an adult. Wish the whole train display worked - and all the arcade games. But kids don't notice, so not a huge deal. Hope this place lasts forever.

This train themed restaurant has more amenities than any other similar restaurant I have ever been to. For a kid-centered restaurant, they had a surprisingly good selection for adults. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We will definitely be coming back again and next time bringing friends and family.

Amazing Family Dining. The employees here have the hearts of saints. It really takes a lot to work entertainment and they do it with grace and poise. Always clean, and they are always on top of your family's specific needs. The games are great and entertaining, the train ride is a great staple! They really take care of all of their customers and meet the whole family's needs. Something for everyone here!

The prices are right at this little train stop. The food is actually delivered via a train if you're sitting at the counter. There's an arcade with pinball machines and little prizes for the kids. You can tell that the pretzel bun is homemade and not overwhelming the meal. I highly recommend making tracks to this luncheon junction.

This place is awesome!! All the other train restaurants closed anywhere near us and my son has to go to a train restaurant on his birthday so thank God for Tyler?s Tender. This is by far the best one we have been to too so I'm glad we found it, puts All-Aboard and Choo Choo Johnny?s to same, not even close. The staff was friendly and energetic, the food was good, and the trains and arcade are a huge step up. They have train rides every 15 minutes which was the biggest win of the day for our little guys.

We took my grandson and I knew he would like the theme, but I was really impressed with everything. Food, service, cleanliness, and the stuff for the kids were really good. Been to a lot of 'kiddie' places over the years and nothing else comes close. VERY highly recommend.

It has a larger menu than I thought it would have, very nice family oriented place. I went to a meeting there and was surprised they had a separate room for groups. Everyone enjoyed their meal, service was perfect and no problem with everyone getting their own checks.

I have children ranging in age from 1.5-13 and they all love Tyler's Tender! Kids, teens, and adults can all find something they like on the menu. Sitting at the counter so the train could deliver the food was the highlight! The little ones loved riding on the train, and dad and the big kids had tons of fun in the arcade room.

Complete wast of time!!! Went there with my son and husband walked in and wasn't even acknowledged till about 10 mins of standing at the door. Tyler's Tenders quickly became the most-visited restaurant for my family. As the name indicates, chicken tenders are among the great food here at this railroad-themed restaurant but the food is not limited to kid's fair, there is a lot really great food cooked in that kitchen! The chef will not let you down no matter what it is you order, from the chicken tender basket for your little one to the Cuban sandwich which is out of sight good to the crispy caesar salad that does not disappoint! Let's be honest...this is for kids. Thankfully the food is actually decent. It's actually pretty roomy and clean. Sit at the counter and a train delivers your food! They have an arcade room that's basic but can easily wrestle another $20 out of your wallet. The staff is nice and usually pretty on top of service.

My husband, 3 year old son and I drove from Orland Park IL to visit Tyler?s Tender RR. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. Our waitress (gosh I can't remember her name now but she said she worked there for about 8 years) was fantastic. She waited for my son to come back to the counter before she sent the train out with our food. She was so friendly and funny. The food was great! All the activities for the kids were fun! 10/10 highly recommend.

We went on Friday morning at 1045 and we had the entire place to ourselves. The server was very friendly and the place is clean. They have a train for kids to ride, one behind glass they can watch and another that delivers the food. We ordered kids Mac and cheese (which is kraft) and a veggie burger which was really good. I was shocked!!! We decided to take our 2 yr old grandson and to be honest with a place geared for kids, I didn't expect much. First of all the food here is good and the waitress we had was a young teenage friendly girl who was extremely attentive and the prices are really reasonable. I think the train ride cost me like a $1.00 and the average arcade game was .50 (Fifty cents) It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!!!

Tyler's Tender is the cutest little train restaurant. Our three boys love going here and love that their food arrives via train when you sit at the counter. Katie, the manager, is accommodating, friendly and warm! She is always working hard! Perfect for kids

This is now my go-to "Station" for our grandchildren! We went to Tyler's Tender for the first time yesterday while our son and his family were here visiting from out of state. We love Tyler's Tender! They have a nice selection of food for young and old. The food always comes out hot and fresh. They have a train around the central bar area that brings food out if you sit there - they have clip-on high chairs for the bar. They have a ride-on train and a smaller one that takes coins. They also have an arcade. The bathroom has a kid size toilet.

I ate here yesterday I ordered pizza and fries the pizza was delicious the fries to good I also played with the button where it's turn on the train the CSX didn't work the button was broken but I didn't care. There was only two trains that were working the CN and the CANADIAN PACIFIC.Best place ever. They also have ice cream. It was good I wish that there was a 10 star review.

I take my kids there every year for their birthday with their grandmother. They love the train and the arcade in the back. They are getting a bit big to ride the train but always insist on it. This is a nice family tradition. Also the staff is always so sweet to our family.

Food was ehh, I really liked the pot roast melt but the sides weren't great at all. Soupy Mac and cheese and gross potatoes. Service was good and my son loved the trains. Also loved they have a clamp seat so kids can sit at the counter, also delivered his food on the train which he loved (He's 2 btw)! I'd definitely come here for dessert and the train but probably won't be back for dinner. Most of their arcade machines are just token eaters but no out of order signs.

Exactly everything I expected from a lunch diner. Food was very well prepared. The trains absolutely had the kids running from one display to another. Very exciting for them. The waitstaff also very patient and helpful.

Best family restaurant I know in the region. It's train-themed and has an indoor track and train for small kids. It's also attached to an arcade room with some fun games. Don't forget to collect rewards (tickets) from the arcade machines and redeem them for small gifts that kids like!

An incredible place from my childhood that has withstood the test of time. To this day it is a magical place with great food, prices, and service to boot. The staff are super friendly, and it's just an absolute treat! Would 110% recommend to anyone and everyone :D

Not a bad place to bring your little ones. Food is mediocre, reminds you of high school cafeteria food, so not my thing. The kids had fun playing with the train set that the kids can press buttons to light up and move the train. Kids enjoy the train ride and in the back was a small arcade. Definitely a great place for the little ones. Also would like to mention and give props to the owner, they have a small working toilet for the kids, it was very cool!
