This arcade used to be free play but now is card loaded with 540 credits for 20 bucks. You can expect 1 hour of play time if you are a decent player. Not worth it in my opinion. Free play is a better model with ticket games being extra (tokens) as it used to be last year. 80 bucks for family of 4 is not realistically affordable. I will look elsewhere for free play locations and you should too.
Staff was nice. Games are cool but you will blast through $40 like it was nothing. Not a huge fan of the game card because you are spending way more than you think. $40 = 1200 credits. With $40 - each dollar you pay is worth 30 credits. The lowest games were 21 credits (old school cabinets). Most were 30 - 50+ credit range I believe and they don't last long. I wish this business the best but we were in and out in a flash.
This arcade is spacious, with over 100 pinball games as well as a retro video game section and newer arcade games. It works on tokens which you purchase at the front desk in the shop before entering the arcade. The interesting space the arcade is in allows for themed rooms ?an Avengers room, an X-Men room, etc. with 2-5 similarly-themed games in each. Cool concept! The machines are largely in immaculate condition, and (for better or worse depending on your preference) the main room is quite bright fr overhe
It's a bummer to write this review because I want to love this place so much-- it has ALL the makings to be such an amazing spot! The games are great, the staff is friendly, the environment is clean and inviting. My big issues come from two big pieces of feedback. 1. The pinball machines are SO quiet. I recognize that loud machines can be a bit chaotic, but the sound of a machine plays such a big role in the gameplay, strategy, and overall enjoyment of the experience. If I'm going to an arcade that has a
This place is a hidden Jem. What a great time. Much cheaper than other local business. So many cool games. We enjoyed that the money you spend all goes to Toys-for-Tots. There are a couple vending machines, but no food.
Tycoon Arcade might have one of the best modern pinball collections in New England. I make the drive from Maine about once a month playing on a variety of pinball machines, featuring titles from Stern, Chicago Gaming Company, Jersey Jack, Spooky Pinball, and more. As someone who owns a couple of machines at home, I love having the chance to test out games I might consider adding to my collection. When I found out they also buy, sell, and trade, I decided to trade in my two machines for two new ones, and the
Really nice facility, but you're not going to find it from the street, enter via the south entrance and take the elevator to the second floor. Friendly and supportive staff, but some machines did not accept the tokens. Great prices on games and huge selection for Pin-Ball. Will be going again
The definitive pinball and arcade experience. The new day pass system means that you play as much as you want (for any non-ticket-dispensing machines). Being able to actually finish light gun games using infinite continues is a blast. Getting a day pass here is genuinely a better deal than Funspot. Just make sure to bring snacks and a water bottle, as there's only vending machines for refreshments.
This is a great place to play pinball and arcade games! I have been waiting for a place like this near my home! I have visited already 4 times and love it. I own my own pinball machines but being able to play a large collection near my home is a plus! May consider part time employment if it works out for me!
We hosted our son's 6th birthday at Tycoon Arcade, and it was amazing! The staff; Dan and John were very accommodating and made everything run smoothly. The arcade is clean, fun, and packed with a great variety of games for both kids and adults. The kids had a blast, and we all enjoyed the hassle-free experience. Highly recommend for an stress-free event ? we'll definitely be back!
This place is the absolute best in the area! It's a must go and the staff here is wicked friendly and kind. There are so many different pin ball machines here as well as a good selection of fun games to play.. Gaurentee you won't be bored here!
This place is a gem. We had a birthday party for my sons here and it was fantastic. There was a great turnout of kids because, I think, everyone was excited to check out this arcade. They offer birthday packages, and you get your own little room with tables and chairs to serve your food and cake and such. There were several options and the prices were reasonable. You pay to go in the arcade, and then the majority of the games are free to play. Anything that hands out tickets or prizes needs separate tokens
Great place to bring my staff, tons of fun games, a crazy amount of pinball machines, and a great shop. I do wish the prize selection was a bit better than a discount on shop items but genuinely we had a great time! Definitely coming back with friends at some point soon!
Tycoon Arcade has an amazing assortment of pinball, classic arcade games, and recent arcade games. The pay for admission with free play is a great value. Our whole family loves it. I wish they were open more days, so go check them out!
Such a great experience from start to finish while purchasing my first new pinball machine. Dan and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and so nice throughout the entire process. They offer setup which I initially declined but after transporting the machine home and struggling with the weight I called back to see if they could assist. Even though it was nearing the end of the day, John came out and saved the day. The willingness to assist and provide a great customer experience really stood out and I
Great place for pinballs ! Lot of choice and great shape pinballs. Recent and older ones. Staff is super kind. Love it
Nice place and friendly staff, but it's pretty expensive. Most pinball games take 33 to 43 credits which translates to roughly $1.20 to $1.56 per credit!
This is an absolutely amazing place. Dozens of high quality pinball tables, in fantastic condition to play. Lots of traditional arcade games classics as well as new games. A large board game store as well. This will absolutely be someplace I come back to for a day of fun for the family.
Very accommodating for our son's birthday party. Fantastic deal renting the free play room. Enough tokens with the purchase to share with guests. Been multiple other times because this is the one place in the area you know you're going to be able to play the latest and greatest pinballs. One of our favorite places to visit.
Awesome. First time ever. Great pinball selection. Lots of fun
Tycoon Arcade is a top notch pinball lovers experience. If you even think you may like pinball, you need to go. Amazing amount of tables, friendly staff extremely clean and organized. Trust me, you will enjoy your time there.
Strong first impressions and a great time. The two of us were warmly greeted at the door and handed a few free first-timer tokens. The game store has a strange Disney-esque "exit through the gift shop" vibe, but more power to 'em. The selection of modern and classic pinball tables is unmatched north of Boston (shoutout to the EM Pinball Museum in RI) and a welcome addition to the area since the still-felt loss of Pinball Wizard in Pelham (RIP). Finding the table you want through the office layout can be a b
So much fun! I went on a date here and spent hours playing all the pinball machines and arcade games and still didn't get to everything with tokens leftover. It was mostly adults and not crowded at all for a Friday night which I liked. The staff was friendly and wicked chill. I'll definitely be coming back.
Finally had a chance to stop by to play some pinball. Wow! So many good pins. Super well maintained. Can't wait to go back!
One of the most impressive pinball arcades Ive ever seen. Ive been to the pinball HOF in vegas and funspot, and Id say this is only 2nd behind the pinball HOF. All the machines have been shopped and work great. They have a bright welcoming location in the mill building and also a good size lineup of regular classic popular arcade titles. Frankly I think this place puts funspot to shame when comparing just the game lineup they are sporting. Several of the pins are newer titles some even just released n
$200 for a 3 month pass and then they hide half their pinball machines in rooms with windows. Maybe the city is right for not giving them an alcohol/food license. Chris and Billy are fantastic employees beyond belief but obviously ownership is clueless.
A hidden gem in Manchester! They have an Awesome staff and selection of games for the whole family. It is my go-to place for family and work events. It is affordable and when you go you help support Toys for Tots, it is a win-win!!
We went to the Arcade for an event and the experience was amazing! The amount of games in the space and the variety was wonderful. Working with Chris was great and we look forward to hosting our next event here!
So happy Tycoon Arcade opened up. It's clean and bright, and there are so many old and new favorites! We've hosted our son's birthday party here, and I foresee many more...was such a good time.
Great spot for pinball fans! It also helps Toys for Tots!
great sales process. great communication. delivery and setup was top notch! keep up the good work!
This place is amazing it truly has something for everyone classic arcade games got it. Newer run and gunners got it. Pinball machines? So many you didn't even know existed my only regret is that I can't spend more time there. Check it out!
Amazing arcade, huge selection of well maintained games. Prices are extremely reasonable. Wish the pinball machines were set up to be more difficult.
Best pinball arcade in New England. Perhaps the only better pinball experience is Past Times Arcade in Ohio. A must visit if you are in New England.
Please bring back the background music through the speakers. The place is very silent without music.
Lots of good quality, well kept machines. They have a few picnic tables and allow you to bring food to eat at them. They also have a couple of drink & snack vending machines. A fun place to play!
Great selection of Pinball games and arcade games! Love coming here!
This place is so fun! Tons of arcade games, new and old. Lots of pinball, but tons of other types, too. I really believe there's something here for everyone!
We had so much fun here! Highly recommend!
By far the best arcade birthday parter we have ever done! Many classic games from the 80s and 90s
I want this place all for myself.... so please don't go see the 100 awesome vintage arcade games. And, avoid the classic vintage standup video games like Asteroids and Arkanoid. You will just spend all day here if you dare to go.... better to stay home... so there is More Game just for ME ! haha
Excellent games in great condition. You just have to be willing to pay a premium over what you'd typically expect to pay.
Great! A wild selection of games, an incredibly friendly staff, an excellent time. I really like this place. Thanks!
Great place and staff. Had very successful birthday party there for teenagers.
Super nice arcade that's full of great games, new and old. You won't be disappointed.
Great games, can spend all day here
The best collection of beautiful modern and 90s classic pins and arcade games that I've ever seen!
Nice spot, tons of games, highly recommend!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
