Great place! We've been here a few times and it's always fun! Get your credit card ready tho because it can get a bit pricey $115 for 2 lanes for an hour (7 of us) and another $85 for appetizers and water. ?? Still, a good family fun activity for all. ?? I highly recommend this place! ?? ?? ?? ??

We had such a great time at here! The facility is new, super clean, and perfect for families. Our 3- and 4-year-olds had a lot of fun. The food and drinks were a bonus, with a great selection of beer, cocktails, and tasty bites. Highly recommend for a fun family outing or night out!

Twisted Pin gave me the most amazing 40th Birthday Party! My face was on the screens wishing me a happy birthday which is amazing. I was impressed with the Twisted Pin. This was my first visit. We were celebrating my niece's birthday. The staff was very professional and pleasant. We actually purchased another hour of bowling. I hosted my husband's 30th birthday party at Twisted Pin and it was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the VIP suite was a perfect set-up for an event, and the food was great. I will definitely keep this venue in mind for a future event!

It's not the biggest bowling alley around but one of the coolest. There's the "regular" bowling area...then there's the VIP section. There's a nice bar, & a trendy section where u tab a credit card, they give u a black card, & u use it to refill your own beers or wine throughout the evening as they charge by the liquid ounce poured. About 15 to 20 selections to choose. I recommend this bar.

We went within the first hour or two of opening hours. It was enough room to get around and my 2 year old daughter loved the music selection. She was dancing and jumping almost the entire time there. I really like the revamp of the facility. My family and I will be back.

We had our sons 6th birthday party at Twisted Pin this past weekend. We had a great time! John, Janel (spelling) were fantastic! So was the rest of the staff. The food was great, too! The older manager that works there has an attitude with customers.. He seems fine controlling the kids that work with him but adult customers is another story... He needs to learn respect with customers when problems arise. He acts like a big shot.

Twisted pin was a very nice place! The bowling was nice, the only thing we disliked is that the pins are rope driven, so not as much wriggle in them when bowling- strikes were harder to come by then usual. The game room was nice, the games were a bit over priced but the same compared to other businesses set up similarly. Update November 2023 It's definitely not the local bowling alley anymore. The name change says it all. Used to be ?Plainfield Lanes? and now it's ?Twisted Pin?. Much more commercialized and similar to the bigger bowling chains now. $40 an hour per lane in which up to six people looking bowl. $5 per pair of shoes. $55 an hour for VIP lanes (if the regular lanes are unavailable then that will be your only choice) otherwise they usually use VIP lanes for birthday parties and other events. Honestly ever since they remodeled their customer service has been terrible. You would think that they would want to still keep their long time customers. The girl at the counter was so disrespectful to my friend who was pregnant. She had a cup of water told her no outdoor drinks. We took our twins bowling for the first time and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They really engaged well with our kids and answered all of their questions. We also loved the garlic fries there.

Honestly, I love the atmosphere and great music! However, the pins are on strings! Which completely hinders the game. I haven't seen so many times my pin sliding and not fall down. The lanes weren't oiled well which hinders the control of the ball.

the online booking system was not working on Thursday and after 20 min took my reservation over the phone. we came sat at 930 for our 10:00 reservation. the young manager stated that they didn't have it even though was supposedly written down and they were booked. he was rude and said they were booked oh well. he could have cared less. gave me a business card and said if you aren't happy you can email. Bowling was great fun . But for me being a fan of beer , the wall of taps was quite impressive. Large selection of different beers and you pay by the oz. With a card you get from the bartender.

This place is amazing for birthday parties. They have literally thought of everything. My husband and I actually got to enjoy the company of our guests because our host was amazing and took care of all the little details for us.

Celebrated my husband's bday at Twisted Pin in Plainfield. We had a blast! Food was yummy, staff were friendly and very helpful. We rented 2 lanes in the semi-VIP area and Jarod (spelling) was our host. He was EXCELLENT! He was attentive and made sure our party was well looked after. Do not go here to practice they only have the alleys lit up for leagues. The alleys are not lit unless they have leagues so if you're a spot bowler your out of luck, and if you bowl by looking at the pins they change colors every 10 seconds which is distracting. I won't return here and I will let my other league bowlers to go elsewhere.

We hadn't been to Plainfield Lanes in a few years. They've made a lot of updates including big screens that might be a nice place to bowl and watch a game. They are close to finishing an update of the bar area to make it more of an option to just go hang out. Nice place. The bowling itself always seems too expensive at $50+ for 1 hr and shoes for 4 of us.

This is a very nice, low key venue. The bowling alley, bar, arcade, and seating areas are all clean, modern, and well kept. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports other programs. The staff was very friendly and thorough. I had the loaded fries and the BBQ chicken flatbread. Both were delicious and easy to order and pay for from your phone via QR code. They even have a self serve beer tap with twenty or so beers on tap. Prices were fair. My only complaint is the bar.... not with the staff or the servic

Dropped someone off here once, did not go in, just looked inside and saw how nice it was, decided to check it out one day and wow it was nice and clean on top of all that. Love this place. Definitely for casual bowlers and have fun games like horse and my favorite e-z bowling which is 5 frames with one bowl each. Good food and nice facilities. Twisted Pin is the perfect place to host a birthday party! Our party host, Greg was fantastic. He was attentive from the start and made us feel right at home! He answered all our questions, entertained the girls the entire time, and kept the flow of the party going strong! Went here for the first time to get dinner and bowl. Nobody greets you when you walk in and there are no signs to tell you that you seat yourself and scan a QR code at the table to order food. Everything is priced as if you are in downtown chicago $15+ for every item and $3 for a pepsi with no refills. And then they have the audacity to automatically put on 18% tip when you pay. Nice place. Only have a couple issues. One we paid for an hour of bowling. Time started before we even started Bowling or found balls or put on our shoes. Lost almost 10min of our time of bowling. The other complaint I have was the lane were extra oily. There was almost no ball action at all and ball was like a greased BB.

Since their recent revamp it cost a fortune to bowl here. It's over $350 to schedule for two lanes. Bowling is not worth that much. Old School bowling alleys still charge $8 a game. Nobody I know can justify $175 for one lane for two hours. I used to enjoy this place, now it's unreasonably expensive. Their website is shady too. First it says it's $50 an hour. Then you click on it and it goes up to $75. Then add it to the cart and it's $150. What are you guys doing?

Friendly staff and a great family atmosphere. They have plenty of arcade games and I'm feeling the escape room. All in all I found the place okay and I would definitely recommend Plainfield Lanes if you're looking for quite family night of bowling.

Clean and fun bowling alley with game arcade but it can get very crowded for open bowling. Seating is not ideal! They took away the bench seating for tables scattered all over the place. People have to walk in front of you and behind you to get balls, food, drinks, etc. It was chaos at times. Food however was excellent!
