Great spot. We had a good time as a party of 10 and enjoyed 2 sets of bowling! Plenty of available bowling balls to use and the bar had some great beers on draft!
Very kind and helpful host for our birthday party on Memorial Day. The bowling and arcade games kept everyone happy. The food was perfect for our teenagers and all in all very smooth operation. Great value for both food and entertainment!
Went to a birthday party, my son and the kids all had a blast! All the updates are awesome and the FOOD is amazing. Thankful for a great place for all ages
Went for a birthday party my sons were invited to. The food was good, and the kids had fun in the arcade and bowling. Seemed clean and staff were nice. I would absolutely go again and recommend.
Ever since they got the pool tables it has really made a difference. It is much cleaner and the food is actually so good. The bartenders are pretty rude and seem overwhelmed most of the time. The people at the service desk are just teenagers and aren't super helpful but you can't expect much. I'm glad they upgraded this place to be more fun for adults too.
The bowling alley is great. The restaurant is great. The arcade is not great, a third of the games don't work but they still take the money off your card.
Went here with my family of 5 looking for something to do later in the day. They have bowling, a small arcade, pool tables and a bar that sells food. We ordered pizza and wings and were surprisingly impressed. The food was actually much better than other arcade/bar food places we've gone to in the past. The arcade was small enough for us to keep a close eye on our kids and play pool at the same time. Overall, the whole family had a great time and we would def return.
The only game in town when it comes to bowling, this place has been here forever and it has always been a great place to go bowling. Twin city lanes has tons of lanes and offers decent pricing for shoe rentals and lane rentals. They have an arcade game section on the left side of the building that offers a variety of games, indoor laser tag and food at there restaurant. The also offer birthday and special events and are able to accommodate up to 140 guest. The also cosmic bowling which takes place on Sa
Two stars only because K's Korner is amazing food. Other than the restaurant, everything is broken and hella dirty.
Bowling was especially when they went to neon lights. The food was delicious, and when you buy cups, you get unlimited soda.
amazing time .what a great idea ...kids bowl free (2 gAmes a day) all summer. atmosphere was so uplifting and the music had my daughter doing more dancing than bowling. hahaha Ks corner is attached and has amazing food amd great wait staff we were there w the kiddos...but if out on an adult date night bowling and beers would be a great evening.
We will NEVER come back here. After years of collecting tickets on our arcade card, we were at almost 60,000. We went after the remodel because someone told us that all of the games were not broken as they were in the past. While they were able to reload money onto our same card, ALL of the tickets (60,000 tickets!) were gone, which was beyond disappointing to my two kids who had been saving up for years. The first game they wanted to play (halo) was ?out of service? along with many, many others which we
It's great fun. The arcade has games that actually work now, and more are on the way. The lanes have all been replaced, and the staff is great. My kids and I love it. We've been going weekly to bowl and game. Oh, the food is pretty darn good, too.
Lots of fun. Pool tables video machines beer food
I've been coming here since I was a kid and I always have a good time. I just went recently and the new owners have really made the place look very nice. The lanes are really good looking and the food is so much better now.
Lots of fun for a rainy night out! Bowling is not something I do very often or well but I somehow got 3 strkies in one game!
Hopefully the arcade gets fixed soon, but the bowling alley and restaurant are always great
Love coming here to play pool! So inexpensive. Play by the hour. Tables are nice. Spread out. Clean establishment.
We had a great family night! Great food and a fun time!
Only great thing is the bartender and one lady behind the desk were quite pleasant. 1/4 of arcade games are functioning, laser tag has been broken for years. Every couple of tries at bowling we had to call someone for assistance. When I asked for a refund on the second game that we were unable to play and I was greeted with an attitude of the employee then throwing money at me. Hard No on returning there.
A great place for families, a night out, birthday parties,or simply to get the best pizza around!
They are working on the place and trying to get things good again. We went to the new Zachary's Pizza here and it wasn't a great experience. They didn't have much for the kids menu due to staffing issues. Hope it gets better
We had a great time with our boys bowling, playing laser tag and arcades. We also had a great lunch!
I had my sons 7th birthday party there and it was a blast. We did both Lazer tag and bowling with a party of 20 which includes pizza and soda for everyone plus a $5 dollar arcade card for everyone. The staff was awesome and if my kid wanted to do it again I would as it was affordable and there is a bar for the adults ?? lol.
Very old lanes and scoring systems. I bowl often, and lane conditions, I cant even start to explain how bad they were. Way over oiled. I'm a 180 plus bowler. I couldn't even get to 150 lol. Most of the games they have were not in order. Laser tag is NOT, in use, though their website makes it look like its open. Very disappointed. Friendly staff was nice. The bar was more busy than the entire place.
Fun and exiting for all ages, I love the expanded arcade and the new food is on point. Would highly recommend for a great night on the town.
The brunch was so good! I can't believe how many options they had to choose from and everything was hot and delicious!
Very disorganized for cosmic bowling. We reserved 2 lanes days in advance and they tried separate our group. They didn't have shoe sizes that met 3 of our group of 8.
What a joke, took my grandson here for laser tag and was told it was not working and will likely be removed due to aging equipment. Half of the overpriced arcade games are out of order. The food in the restaurant was good but the place was so cold we ate with our coats on.
That are amazing had a great time staff are AMAZING!!!!!!!! Love it here! Recommend it to everyone who is looking for a fun family place
Update Post Covid: I am changing this from 5 to 2 starts, I must say i wont be going back and this is a shame. 1) half the arcade machines are down 2) the bowling system kept crashing 3) quality of food and service has gone down. 4) took around 20 min for them to get the system up and running for me to pay. 5) looks worn out and dirty compared to 4 years ago. it appears the owner has given up on the business and is trying to sell it yet cant even bother to clean up the place. I know COVID has really hurt s
We had our company retreat at Twin City and it was AMAZING. We played laser tag and bowled for a better part of the day. Laser tag went over really well with the varied age range of our group, everyone played! The bar and food service was attentive and great as well. We will be going back!
Bowling, an arcade, and laser tag?! All in one building?! Conveniently placed right between Barre and Montpelier?! AND its reasonably priced?! That's a pretty crazy deal in my book! A great place to bring the younger members of your family on a rainy day, or for a fun night out. I had a great time with my siblings here a few weeks ago - the staff were very nice and accommodating.
I didn't experience the bowling alley, but it looked fun just very busy. But the arcade portion was not ideal. Most of the games were broken or off. Then to play one game it was a dollar or more on average. Just expected more.
Has some of the best food I have ever eaten at a bowling alley. Chicken parmesan, spicy lasagna, rolls, grasshopper pie, NY cheese cake, and chocolate brownies. The atmosphere is packed on holidays, full on weekends, and plays music from the 90s. The arcade is pretty good and the Extremely large screen space invaders game is pretty neat to play.
This was an all Stop shop for Kids, Laser Tag was a lot of fun 10 minutes 350 per person, played arcade games for a while Bowled one game with 4 kids, and had lunch in K's Korner. Plenty of parking but the service in the restaurant was a little slow especially with a lot of kids, but definitely worth the visit.
Filthy and overpriced. We walked in and it looked like the roof was collapsing. When attempting to check out we had to wait several minutes for the attendant. The shoes were old and smelly. I would not recommend this place to an enemy.
I'm sure it would have been fun if we could have actually bowled. We tried to go for Cosmic Bowling. We could clearly see that there were several lanes open, but we were told by the rude kid behind the counter that they were all "reserved." We went at 8:30pm and were told it was going to be at least a 2hr wait. No thanks. If you are going to do cosmic bowling, definitely call ahead and reserve lanes or else you most likely won't be able to bowl. We ended up spending our money elsewhere. It's a shame.
Dinner at K's Korner at Twin City Fun Center... Friday Special-All you can eat Fish and Chips.. but the initial serving is VERY PLENTIFUL and goes well with a good variety of draft bews available, including VT's Own 14th Star Maple Stout??
It was pleasant, clean, and everything seemed in working order. The food served on premises didn't disappoint, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of bowling balls available.
Great place to take the family for some fun, food and even better at birthday parties. The staff is great at taking care of everything! All we needed was our cake and they took care of the rest. Can't beat the price!
The Family Fun Center was considered a good place to visit and have a good time with family. As of July 27, 2021, the ceiling located near the front desk is collapsing and they have failed to close for repairs. They are placing customers and employees as risk. Beware!
They make us feel like family here! Everyone is so nice and accommodating!
K's Corner at Twin City Fun Center is great place to get a good meal at a reasonable price and enjoy it's relaxing friendly atmosphere with family and friends. The Fun Center also offers bowling and a nice game room, if you're looking for that kind of entertainment option. Plenty of parking.
My friends and I used to go here all the time for laser tag. I just called in to ask a question about the names of the different player names and a very nice young lady named Riven (sp?) went out of her way to help me. 10/10 service. Give Riven a raise.
Was a fun experience but unfortunately 3/4 of all the arcade section is "waiting for parts" and out of service. Good food and service though.
Laser tag is a blast! K's corner is the restaurant/bar inside and is surprisingly delicious! Decent draft selection as well. Money disappears very quickly in the arcade (especially if kids are unsupervised) so if your looking to kill an afternoon make sure you come prepared $$$
Had a birthday party there for my son it was amazing. If you want a great time bowling and having fun for kids all ages go!
Great place to bring children of all ages! Lots to do! The service is fanominal, the food is AWESOME. Very informational, easy to understand help. Prices are affordable! A great family friendly place!
Bowling lanes are fine. Counter people NOT friendly though. And the worst; it was raining the day we were bowling and The ROOF WAS LEAKING....AT THE ENTRANCE!! Not impressed. (and i'm not talking about a 'small leak'...it was Dripping like crazy!) These guys need to get the roof fixed and provide a bit more courtesy when greeting customers and receiving payments. Unfortunately this is 1 of the only bowling centers in our area, so we are stuck with leaking roofs, etc, etc.
Laser tag bowling and arcade games oh my laser tag bowling and arcade games oh my. Kay's Corner had some pretty good food and the best dipping sauces in central Vermont. Bowling is fun if you don't take it too seriously which I usually do :-( I just need to lighten up and realize I'm there to have fun not to win
You'll easy find yourself spending a good amount of money but it is great fun with bowling, laser tag and a decent arcade. The food was also great given consideration to what this place is would easily go back! And reccomend
Uh, FUN center! Bowling, video games, lazer taaaag! It's fun! Big parking lot. Burger restaurant on site. I like the bbq bacon burger. Mmm-mmm heartstoppin'! So stop on by, shoot yer friends and pitch a ball! Beers and burgers after. Unless you're 12. Then just burgers. And sodas.
Had a great time they are under construction. Lanes and limited arcade open. Bar is open with food. Makes for a good time.
Used to love this place. Now it's run down (massive ceiling leak into buckets just as you walk in), laser tag shutdown but no mention of that on the website, glitchy bowling, and staff young and inexperienced.
very very noisy and crowded. spent our time in the arcade while waiting for a kid at a birthday party--really great prizes but very casual and checked out staff; took forever to redeem prizes and the lack of parental supervision is something to prepare for
The lazer tag guns are not working right we had 3 laser tag guns glitch in 1 game and 5 over a small span of time the experience of glitching guns still great arcade and food place and good bowling alley The food here is AMAZING good place to eat and fun arcade but I'd don't recommend laser tag Warning: the same day I went there the day i had 3 bad guns they "checked the guns" Over all good experience except for laser tag
Amazing food and staff, they are quick to fix any issues. K's Korner is a great restaurant that's a hidden gem! Huge portions, amazing food!
Friendly staff and updated lane scoring systems. Plenty of pool tables and video games for the kids and adults alike
Foods good great service, kinda expencive. I met an amazing chef there Ben was his name, suggested the putine best i have ever had. Super yummy.
It's not set up so you can watch your kids while you visit with guests, the rooms they put you in are like stalls in a barn. Other wise it's pretty cool.
This is a great place for bowling, and hanging with your Niece and Nephew and Sister if you are visiting. They got the good food.
This place is amazing this is the 3rd time me and my went bowling and we had amazing time. Great food and good drinks they also have huge arcade place.
They have good food and decent bowling. The workers are nice. Rather pricey IMO though.
Food delicious staff super friendly and they are super clean. Wiping everything down constantly would highly recommend going if you haven't been
Great place to bring the family! Fast and friendly service. When friends are over we jump in the car and spend some time enjoying laser tag, bowling and arcades :) And of course some pizza :)
Not bad,the pizza is surprisingly good, under construction, things a bit unorganized..all in all a decent experience..
My family (most of them were there) took me to Twin City Family Fun Center to bowl for Mother's Day. I think it is one of the best Mother's Day 's I have had.
Bowling alley is great staff is wonderful and the food is amazing never knew that miss k's was a hidden gem....this place deserves 8 stars.
Ksys Korner is very good. The fish and chips are excellent and your plate is full. I was pleasantly surprised, I'd recommend it!
I had a blast bowling here! The food is great at K's Korner too only downside is the service has been superrrrr slow every time I've gone.
Great place. Clean, fun, good food good staff. Love going here for bowling or just a meal!
This place is horrible the employees just straight out lie to you. You can't even get into the bowling alley in the winter they shut the place down for leage at 4:30. Family fun center is a lie ruined my 4 year olds bday party. Do not go here!!!
Had a company Xmas party here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Played a few rounds of bowling and had a blast in the laser tag arena.
They are still working on the construction, but it's looking good. The food was good as well.
K's Corner is a great place to eat, the portions are large and the food is good. Great wait staff and the menu is budget friendly.
Good food, fun family place the arcade is fun after bowling with the kiddos. Pretty nice place to go with friends or family on a rainy day.
Always a good time bowling for family time arcade is fun there usually a couple games that are down but that's to be expected when you're the only arcade in town
Really awesome place wish they would make the bowling area more handicap acceptable. But love going here
The teriyaki chicken wings were amazing it has excellent service n food would go again!!!
Great fun. Lots of things to do bowling laser tag and an arcade. Decent staff to. Usually have a smile on there faces.
We continue to enjoy time spent here. The restaurant is where we go the most K's Korner. Great service and really good food.
Nice family place, fun times to be hand. Small operation but lots of arcade games. Good for the family.
The people here are super friendly, its a very fun place and their food is absolutely amazing, it is the best!
Food great, long wait (we were large group 14 had reservations, staff low we had great waitress she worked) busy place
Great food in the restaurant. Fantastic specialty drinks and delicious menu with reasonable prices. Super Cobb salad!
Fun spot when it's the middle of winter and too bitter cold to outside some days. A bit expensive to actually bowl but the arcade and some food in hand if you skip the bowling could be an affordable time.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
