We came here to have a birthday party for my daughter. Everybody had a blast. The tablets made it very easy to edit player names and each player could be customized for the gutter guards to be used or not. There was plenty of tables for our guests to sit near their lanes and then some extra tables for food to be laid out on. We ordered pizza, fries, fried pickles and pitchers of soda. All the food was fast and delicious and the kitchen staff was friendly and brought it out to us when it was ready. We boo

I grew up in the bowling alley since I was 11 years old met a lot of good people especially one specific person Joe marques taught me alot about bowling I became friends with alot of them Scott Sousa,Matt Mattz, Doug Oxford, Merle Helstowski, Doug Cairns,Travis Cairns,Troy Cairns, Chuck and Maggie Morrow, Chris Fischer, Alfred Arruda. Including the owners John and Cynthia That place is my home/Kingdom

Didn't bowl but went to the arcade. Really enjoyed the ace throwing game! Wish it wasn't card system though as it's gard to figure out how many tickets you've won.

The staff at the counter was extremely rude and I have never encountered such terrible customer service at any establishment! I was in shock at his attitude. :( The response is unbelievable. I only spoke to Scott, who was working at the counter. I was completely respectful.

I've been here 3 times now and each time the staff is extremely rude. The lanes keep giving out and your not able to finish what you pay for. But this time was the last straw. I looked online the website says they close at 8 on Sundays so I take my family at 5 wanted to pay for 2 hrs was told no because of how slow they have been. That there closing 2 hrs early. Wtf. As well as 110.00 dollors in total for 1 hr of bowling and food. I ordered a large pizza cheese sticks and 2 cheese burger meals. The scowl on

We had our son's 12th bday party here. It was incredibly affordable and the staff were great! He had so much fun with the punching machine. He won four different items and had a blast! The kids were definitely entertIned.

Clean, friendly, well maintained. Food, arcade, bowling and an absolute great time!

This is the gem of Crescent City. In this era where bowling alleys are fading into the past, Tsunami Lanes is a refreshing blast from the past. With affordable rates and a light crowd, bowling has never been better. They also have a snack bar, arcade and plenty of room for get together and parties.

My wife and I love to go to the different bowling alleys in the towns we visit. This place is dated but in an awesome way. I was shot back into the late 70's. There are 16 lanes some are upper and some are on a lower floor. The staff are very nice. They have a small snack bar with typical bowling alley prices. We didn't eat here but saw some food and it looked good. The lanes were a bit difficult to bowl on but that's why we like visiting other lanes to see differences from ours back home.

Have been here 3 times. Gave it 3 star. Previously gave it a 1 star. Owner is always in a bad mood and has been rude to my kids every time they have questions. I don't know the workers name but an older gentlemen is reasonable and understanding when we've encountered him which brought the stars up for me.

It's fresh cooked & it's budget friendly, I would recommend it

Pretty disappointed with the Donna B Cafe. Ordered the $35 party platter only to after an hour of not receiving it finally ask about when we'd be receiving our food? The clerk argued that it already went out, and was given to us. Nope the food was given to another family. Therr was no "opps", no "sorry", no "my mistake". Finally got our food after an hour and a half. When it was time to leave. The clerk looks completely miserable and like he hates his life/job. No indication of customer service at all behi

I enjoyed the environment in this place so much that I joined a bowling league here and fun bowled/fun competed every Sunday Funday.

Very clean and up to date, affordable, and they had a good food and beer selection.

UPDATED 6/21/23 I miss Joe, (rest his soul) Heather and the crew! The new employees are less personable. But, they're very nice! I miss the way it felt like old home week when we went. But, things change. The food is still bowling alley food but it is better. Good service and done with a smile. Clean too.

Had my daughters 4th birthday here, I felt like around 200$ for an hour and a half of bowling for 15 people and 15 pairs of shoes on 3 lanes was more than reasonable. That staff was so accommodating and put us right next to the arcade and they let our little ones run wild with no questions asked. My daughter made a huge mess and had the owners stepping over wrapping paper on their way in and they just smiled and told her happy birthday and were nothing but nice. As we ran about a half hour past the time we

Awesome for birthday parties but the price of the food is expensive an there isn't a lot to choose from

Birthday party for my 10 year old granddaughter and it was great! The crew was very accommodating for our extra guest that shows up and kept nothing but smiles on their faces! Especially Linda who was in snack bar and we kept adding to our orders. Would highly recommend for parties!

So excited to have this place in our small community! The new owners have made great improvements including remodeling and implementing creative new things like app-based scorekeeping and bowling games, a clean, fun arcade (omg the Mandalorian pinball!) and a decent snack bar with Door Dash delivery.

Tricky tricky! I asked for two games, for my son and myself. I paid the $17 and played a game, one game each. I asked the employee for the second game and he said we played two games, one game each! What? Tricky tricky!

Good value. Before 5pm hour rental is great! Won't say how much in case they raise the rate later, but it's a good way to spend an hour. Pitcher of beer and an hour of bowling for under $30!

Good staff fun arcade good environment

Dirty, small & cramped, overpriced, rude employees, waste of time!

The customer service, food, and bowling was great! Very nice small town feel, well will be back next time we come through Crescent City!!

Wow under new ownership! And the new owners are doing everything they can to make this the place to be. You definitely need to take the family and bowl a couple games. Fun and friendly atmosphere.

The food was store bought and over priced

Nice and clean. Not expensive, but a lot of fun for my son and I to go bowling.

Nice place, friendly people, good prices & snack bar!

Incredibly fun place for an evening out with friends and family! The arcade and bowling are a blast! The staff is very kind, and the food is tasty! All in all a great time!

Tsunami accommodated our group pf 20 international students, even with league going. Great place.

The arcade is fun...hopefully they will keep it growing the longer they stay open for more options of gaming. We haven't gone bowling yet or tried the food or drinks, but we plan on it.

Son & 6yr old Grandson went to play at the arcade. The bowling alleys were open, but the arcade was closed. Looked like a nice small community place, but if half the events are closed off, it's a disappointment.

Just real fun and great atmosphere/ food is good thus far.

The remodel was done very well. Everything is new and modern. We had a blast there. The arcade is the best Crescent City has ever had.

Fun place for bowing with the family and an arcade. It is very busy so make sure you book lanes early! Glad crescent city has such a great family activity!

It was a nice experience, and I plan on going again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shoes didn't smell, and everything was well taken care of, must try the fries there tasty.

I had a great time with my family, it has been way too long since we went bowling at tsunami lanes I'm glad that they reopened it and I wanted to give a shout out to Brett for making everything run smooth.

Good area for the kids

Always a blast when we go bowling here. Neat clean establishment. Friendly helpful staff. Great for a birthday party or just a couple on a date. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have fun.

One of the few places to enjoy any free time I have. Employees are really helpful and nice. Plus best beer battered fries I've ever had!

Great deals and fun for the whole family. They really do have the best pizza in town!

We stopped in to bowl when we were staying in town, and had a fantastic time. The bowling attendants were very welcoming, and the food was great. All around 5 star experience:)

First time going to Tsunami Lanes today. Had a great time. Its a smaller bowling alley, no pro-shop. Great staff, really good snack bar. This was the first time I've been bowling in almost 30 years. I had a ball ?? pun intended.

They have done a great job with this place. I love going

Amazing customer service!! The staff bent over backwards to make sure my sons birthday was the best!

A waitress here asked me to leave because I laughed at this orca fat chic throwing a bowling ball straight up. My drink was not finished. I could have complained but she really made me sick of being there.

Great place for a cold brew, family fun, and friendly staff. We had a ball. :)

Only bowling between crescent City and brookings. Friendly staff, although wait time may be moderate when busy because of minimal staff. They do a fine job at fixing lanes if lanes break down, as well as serving food at a good speed.

Fun place nice little game room too

Great, clean, modern, fun. Kid user friendly. Great staff. Lots of tv's. Lock your car w valuables in trunk.

This place is pretty awesome if your just looking for some some right off the highway. 10 buck pitchers, and fairly cheap bowling that looks like its all been remodeled. Would deffinatly come back

Great family and friends place to visit the owners are great people, clean, great snacks for the kids.

Took my son here for his birthday. We all had such an amazing time. Thank you!

All the way around a great place fun games great prices and the food is delicious 10/10 hands down

Special Olympics Bowling Always accommodating and very nice...

The service is great! I love this place. And it's perfect to take your family. Fun for everyone.

This is great Family Fun, the kids enjoy themselves & they hold Birthday parties too. Love Cosmic Bowling on Saturday Nights!

Still stuck in the 90's. Needs to be updated. The score screens looks like 1983 had the best graphics? Dirty.

They are remodeling and going to reopen. The fresh paint on the outside brightens the place up.

Great staff! Very clean! You can call ahead or prepay for lanes, which is awesome.

Only bowling alley around. There's not much to do around Crescent city, so bowling is one of the only options. Glad it's still in business, always a fun time.

Lanes were a bit to oiled. The ball was everywhere. Also the pi s were getting g messed up on reset. Some would fall before the ball was thrown or the thing that sets the pins would knock them over on its own.

Close early on Saturday nights. Call first.

Good. Arcades a little small, but still had fun!

Great place to go when it is rainy outside.

a little ghetto, the food is reheated frozen, but the staff is great and they serve beer.

We had a great time bowling! The fries here are amazing and served right at our lane!

Fun time for kids and parents. Wish we had something like this where we live!

My son loves going there every Friday with his group from GH Outreach

I suck at bowling but the lanes were full of people great atmosphere and even awesome arcade

Great team working here. Good music. Lights. Food. And people

So glad you re-opened. Great entertainment.

The best bowling alley in Crescent City. Nice Lanes decent prices but I'll take a pass on the food

Tsunami was a cool place when I was bowling there. Haven't been for quite a while. I recall it being a fun place.

Good place for family fun and reasonable rates.

Nice family-friendly arcade & lanes.

Great places for entertainment. It's a little pricey though.

It has been updated and cleaned up and everybody's friendly

Glad they reopened food could be better

Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. I'll go back

Food and beer over priced but it's always fun to go bowling!

Always fun bowling with the boys

Lots of fun! Great birthday party!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
