Tornado Terry's is overwhelmingly praised as a fun, affordable arcade with a nostalgic old-school vibe. Most reviewers highlight the $15 all-day play option, diverse game selection (including classic and modern arcade games, pinball, and ticket machines), and family-friendly atmosphere. Many appreciate the clean environment, friendly staff, and suitability for birthday parties. Customer Reviews

Takes me back to my childhood hanging out in arcades. Good selection of old and new games. Fifteen dollars for all-day play is a great deal.

I have lived in this area for over 15 years and had never visited! I really thought it was going to be more of a pool playing place (dirty and older people) but imagine my surprise when we walked in it's clean and very nice!! Friendly staff. There I a plethora of ?free? games after your admission of $15 per person but if you want to play for tickets you can with a bucket of tickets an extra $10. Overall kids aged 6-12 very super happy!!! Reasonably priced drinks and snacks too.

My first trip here was for my 12th birthday. I'm 40 now, and it's still a great, fun place to kill a few hours for a great price. Lots of racing games, fun shooters, SF2 and MK3, and some other classic cabinets.

We come here at least yearly for a birthday party. The birthday party is a great deal (pictured). They have a lot of games and you pay one entrance fee and get to free-play, including pool, air hockey, guitar hero, centipede and dance dance revolution. Then you can buy tokens and play skeeball, other ticket winning games or pinball machines. It's a great Keller family owned business.

This is a fun place! Relaxing to play some old and new games in a relaxed atmosphere for basically the cost of a lunch meal. Pool and air hockey are included. Ticket games cost extra. Prize selection was average. Drinks and maybe food available for purchase. Good way to have a little fun afternoon or evening with friends or kids.

Very reasonable pricing, they have a great selection of classic games that I enjoyed playing as a kid as well as newer ones. Cool selection of pinball and other games that earn tickets.

This was a great place. Had to pay a reasonable price, and the kids could play as much as they want. Didn't have to worry about them coming back and asking for more money.

This place is a rare find! We stumbled upon this arcade by chance during the middle of a tornado watch thunderstorm, ironically. The workers were friendly upon arrival and explained everything we needed to know prior to purchasing. This arcade is split into two sections, one is free play with the purchase of a band and the other is a paid (token) area where you can earn tickets to redeem. We spent most of our time in the free play area playing games such as Pac-Man, a wide variety of racing games, Jurassic

An amazing Center of amusement for kids. A very respected lady ran the place. Shannon Bell is very considerate and cares about all her customers. A very safe environment for kids. We loved and enjoyed our time there! We are definitely going back!!!

We had a blast! Fun old school games and reasonable price!!! The fee play area was awesome but I loved the token pinball machines. I heard the bowling game is a blast too but I didn't get a chance to play that one. We will be back!

I have lived in Keller for 10 years and have been missing out. I took my grand children and we had an amazing time. You cannot beat the price! I had to drag the kids out of there! If you're looking for some family fun, stop in to Tornado Terry?s.

To say that Endless Discoveries school-age kids had a blast at Tornado Terry's on June 16, 2023, would be a big understatement! A big thumbs up from everyone, including our teachers!

Very fun arcade featuring cabinet games and they're in great shape too. I was very excited to find hydro thunder, Simpsons beat em up, battletoads, pinball machines, classic ski ball and many other retro cabinets along with pool as a bonus. I think it would've been cool to meet Terry in person. I'm glad his family keeps the business running.

A really great hole in the wall arcade! They had a good mixture of new and retro games. All you can play for $15 including pool and air hockey.

Man. This place has it all. Every game I used to play growing up. This owner sure knows what he's doing. This hidden goldmine is well worth the visit. DDR. Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Hydro Thunder. So many Epic games at this Arcade. All the staff were super nice. Will definitely be going back.

I have been coming to Tornado Terry?s for 22 years and now I bring my two kids. We've done 3 birthday parties over the years the most recent being last night and it is ALWAYS a blast. Its a great deal and we appreciate the option of the non player wrist bands for adults who just want to hang out. We were so sorry to hear about the loss of Terry, he was a great man.

Really nice local spot to take the kids. Remember to bring cash if you want to play the ticket games.

Even though it's a small arcade. It's a good old classic one. Lots of games to play. Been going here since I was a kid. Prices are great. 10/10 would recommend. Once I have children of my own. I'd be taking them here

I Told them I haven't been there since I was in 8th grade. Obviously it has changed since then but the good nostalgic feeling was/is still in tact. I took my daughter here first thing on Sunday morning, so, for the first couple of hours we had the entire place to ourselves. I am definitely bringing my crew to have a great time here in the near future. Thank you Tornado Terry's for still being awesome! ??????

Terry and his family are very nice people. They are taking the proper precautions due to Covid pandemic so don't worry about that. Sanitizer and cleaning product stations are around so you can sanitize your hands and also clean the controls on the games before use. I'd recommend this awesome place to anyone I know. Thank you Terry for having such a nice and clean establishment.

We moved to the North Fort Worth area back in 2017 and have driven past Tornado Terrys often. It always seemed like a cool place and a hidden gem. This year I took my son for the first time and we had a blast ! Since then we have been there on several occasions. Great array of old school and new school games. The staff is always very friendly and super helpful. They have a perfect balance of arcade games and other game options including pinball, air hockey, billiard tables. snacks and drinks on site. It is

I threw my husband a surprise party for his 35th birthday. We've been going to Tornado Terry's since we were in middle school, and I wanted it to feel like a throwback birthday party from our childhood. It could not have gone better. The owners are incredible, helpful, and so kind. We got the party package with hot dogs, chips, ice cream and tokens for games. Everyone had the best night ever. I am so grateful this place hasn't changed. Thank you for some great memories!

My son loved having his birthday party here! It is very clean, all games are in great condition. Definitely going back for a date night with my husband! ?? So much fun!

Love this place! Inexpensive to play arcades, pool and air hockey

I have been coming here since I was about 6 years old, I am now 30. Brought a friend from Vegas to come check out the vintage arcades and such, and show him a piece of true Keller history. Terry was an incredible human being, and when the lord called him home, we all were worse off because of it. I am glad to see his legacy is still remaining strong, did it seem weird for two dudes in their 30s covered in tattoos to be there? Yeah probably, but did they make it seem like we weird for being here? Absolut

This place was great. My kids had a blast and I played games that I haven't seen in years. I am so glad that there are still arcades around. Kids that stay home and play in consoles just don't know what they are missing

It's a nice little place. My Husband use to come when he was young so watching his inner child come out to play with our own kiddos was sweet overall I enjoyed my time here..Price was fair if you plan to play all day not a big selection on snackies but overall nice.

A lot of fun & great value! My 7 yr old granddaughter & 10 yr old grandson loves the place!

Blast to past! Bright back lots of childhood memories! $15.00 all you can play.

Friendly staff and great price for unlimited games. My kids and I had a blast!

A really fun place to go to! Me and my brother would come and play for hours here. This arcade is very clean and all the machines are properly maintained which is great!

Me and the grands had the time of our life. Bought the wrist bands and returned twice that day admixture unhook they closed. They wore me out but not down. Lots of fun and photos that create everlasting memories. Thank you. Great environment and nice employees. Wished I could add some photos...

Small family owned arcade! This place is great for a few hours of fun. They have alot of variety from older machines to newer machines. They also have pool tables and air hockey. For the price it's definitely a good time. The token only area is a little bland and boring but hey the all you can play for a 15 bucks area is fantastic!

Good games, $15 for unlimited play is definitely worth it, we had a blast. But the food is not good and no outside food is allowed. All but one of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great for small groups!

Came to this place years ago for my youngest sons birthday. Immediately was hooked! Really enjoyed the selection and the atmosphere and have been a repeat customer for years. Not many arcade places around anymore since the malls don't have them when I was a kid. Glad that we still have a good one around and always enjoy coming back.

Was having fun until the owner showed her colors to my 7 year old little brother. Instead of finding his family and voicing her opinion to them about the issue she proceeded to get in his face and yell at him because he was over exited about playing games. Will not be back, not only rude but very racist!!! Not to mention the fact that she stated I wouldn't pay for the machines to be fixed if something went wrong. Pretty sure that's what arcade insurance is for. Despite this place having 4.6 reviews, read th

This is by far one of my favorite arcade places to go. I'm an 80's kid and an avid collector of arcade games. They seem to be making a comeback with the cidercade type places. This isn't that. Has always operated as just a party room style arcade with a flat entry fee. They take great care of the machines and do a good job of getting in new stuff from time to time. They have been around since I was in middle school and it's a great place for adults and kids who still like some of the older games. Also if yo

Took the kids aged 3 to 11. Had a blast. Even Mimi plaid. Large selection of games. Staff was lovely!

We haven't been for a while and had a great time! I like the $15 All Play and there are other pay to play options where you can get tokens and play for coupons. It's a clean, family run business. The machines were in very nice condition and it was a great arcade experience!

Such a great time..eadybto spend hours there. Great pricing for hours of entertainment...took me back to my teen years of pinball n video games and My Kids loved it too. We can't wait to go back. We will be regulars for sure! Found our new hang out? They do Birthday Parties too!

Great family fun place! Friendly people, and if you pay cash for the all play it is just $14!

Great for the kids. Not so big that I had to worry where my eight year old was when my 12 year old had a party there. Diner style chairs aren't the best but it works. Very, very hard to carry on a conversation because it is so loud. I had no food or snacks, but it seemed like greasy-spoon-style -snacks were the only options. It's an easy way for kids to gather.

Would you feel uncomfortable?.. we were invited to a birthday party here. Our very first time being here and we are also very new to the keller area, haven't been here a year yet. We check in for the party and of course our extra kids weren't included in the Og party plans. My son 5 didn't know that of course and was so excited. He extended his hand out for a wrist band and said yay my turn? and the cashier who's a young lady maybe she's still learning customer service so could be why she reacted the way sh

Practically grew up here as a kid back in the 2000s. Very fond memories of my childhood were here and turns out my wife shared the same experience growing up as well. I'm glad this local institution is still going strong and will visit again with my friends/family.

Awesome throwback arcades, some good new ones, just a neat small little spot perfect for what it is. You'll probably run out of stuff to do after 3 or 4 hours but for the price, you can't argue that value. Really cool place that's kept true to its original vision, love the owner, super friendly and cares about his customers. Will be taking my kids again (6, 4, and 2) as there was something for all of them!

I went here all the time in the early 2010s. I fought tooth and nail just to play some of the most exciting shooters or funniest Simpson fighting games. Even now years later I think about those simpler days. Cause nothing else mattered when I was inside Tornado Terrys.

Brought my son here for his birthday party and I recommend it highly! The price is great and they are very friendly. Nice and laid back, we weren't rushed because nobody was booked behind us so the kids could get some games in before doing the cake and presents. The ticket machines are worth paying for, they pay out way better than anywhere else and it helps pay for the maintenance of the amazing arcade machines! There's even a small section in the back with some of the older machines for you pac man fans!

Perfect place for the family!! We grew up going to Tornado Terry?s and it's still as amazing as it was 20+ years ago. Our kids absolutely love it and the owners are so kind! Extremely reasonable pricing for hours of fun!

Had a great time with the kids. You get a lot for your money. I do however wish they had a larger selection of food items to choose from. You can't beat nachos. Probably my 4th visit in the past 2 years. Jusy now leaving a review

Terry and his wife, are very sweet people. The arcade is maintained and clean. Great for a hot summer day to spend some time...Seats for parents to chill or work, with free WIFI and kids to play unlimited play for $15... They have reasonably priced bottled beverages, snacks and food. They have packages for token games and free play combined. Need something to do and support a small family owned business, go out with the kids or as a date with your spouse...they have pool and air hockey as well... They also

Such a fun and safe place to play! Terry's has frozen time with a variety of lots of fun games. Love all of the games and that the pass is good for the whole day, if you want to leave and come back.

This place is way better than Alley Cats or any other arcade I have taken my family to! Retro games, new games, pool tables, air hockey all for $15 per person UNLIMITED games. Other places you will spend $200 easy to take your family to play a few hours, but this place you can let the kids (and parents ??) have fun for hours without worrying about running out of game tokens etc! They do have token games to win prizes, but they are in a different section and most families just play the all you can play games

We Celebrated our Twin boy's 10th birthday here. It was great! All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the free-play! We spent almost 4 hours there and the time flew by! The kids were also really good at the token games and had several prize souvenirs each! Thank you for a great experience. We will be returning for more fun, no doubt!

15$ all you can play, and it'll last a group for at least 3 hours between pool and air hockey to classics like Dragons lair, and of course all game credits are free, so continues and starts are free with the 15$ admission. And then there is also a more modern-day arcade with tickets and prizes at a fairly reasonable price. For a group up to about 16 @ 15-30 $ a person you can easily enjoy 3-5 hours, and the customer service/owners are very reasonable and kind. This place is good for any kind of party or eve

Thank you, Tornado Terrys for an awesome entertainment experience on Saturday May 6th. While the parking lot was full indicating a lot of fun-goers in the building, and birthday parties in process, the service was friendly, courteous, and professional! My family and friends has a ball. Will definitely make the drive again!

We were looking for a break from the audible assault that is a place like Main Event. I haven't been to Tornado Terrys since I was probably 11 or 12 years old. What a joy to come back with the family and find it still going strong. The all you can play section has tons of games from new titles to an entire section of vintage games. You can also play pool! Time flew by here. We will be back.

Awesome place, been here plenty of times. Very good price for unlimited games. Wide variety of arcade games to select from. There is another pinball area where you can use coins to play those machines. However the main area has two air hockey tables, plenty of other normal arcade games racing games shooters etc.

My first time there and it brought back memories from my childhood. Still can't beat all the classic arcade games some 35 years later. The place is clean and all the games work and work properly. I introduced my daughter to the greatness of Q-Bert and she loved it. My 8 year old even said she loved it more than Chuck E Cheese. The only thing missing is a jukebox playing 80's rock.

Pretty snazzy little place for kids. A lot of racing games. Some older games and shooting games. Couple of pool tables and air hockey. That's it though. I wouldn't be able to spend too long here. You run out off games pretty quick. $15 unlimited play for here and $20 unlimited play at main event. I rather go to main event for more games and better games. Good spot for a kids birthday or something though.

We had to come into town on my son's birthday from out of town. I googled this place because it was close. Can't beat the unlimited free play on the arcade. Before we knew it 4 hours had passed. None of us wanted to leave including my wife. Met Terry and another staff member, they were great. Loved it and can't wait to go back!

Teens and Tweens always have a ton of fun. Old school flats rate for any and all games in the main part. Even have pool and air hockey. Some token games but we don't necessarily feel the need to splurge on those. The owner/operator is always super friendly, talkative and wants to make sure everyone is having a great time. Will keep going back again and again!!

Fun place to hang out for a while. Open play is a little more expensive than other arcades in the area & they have a section that requires paying to play on top of that to earn tickets. They don't let you take food or drink on the arcade floor either.

We loved it! My friend invited us to celebrate her son's birthday. It was a blast! Great games, all worked perfectly! Halo, Jurassic Park, Galaga, Pac-Man, Mario... !

This is place is great, I came here when I was a teenager and now I have the pleasure of bringing my 6 year old daughter here and she loves it. The flat rate model is far more affordable than the prices other places charge for games. As for the reviewer that felt like she needed to give the place a bad review because she didn't like the way the owner had responded to reviews and she has never even been to the place. You should not come to Tornado Terry's because you will not be happy. I've been working in

If you're looking for the old arcade experience then this is it. They change out the machines to keep it fresh but have a lot of older classics. Also kid friendly, and games that everyone can enjoy. No smoking and no drinks or food out on the floor. Very good place to play and good price to boot

$15 all you can play, family friendly. Great place to hang with your kids. Classic games to modern and they all work. Been going for years.

FANTASTIC place for the whole family. The staff is friendly, and they offer great birthday party rates! You can't beat this deal. There are classic games for parents and popular games for the kids. Air hockey and billiards are included. You can spend the whole day there without spending a fortune. We LOVE Tornado Terry's!

Disrespectful when trying to teach my kid something with a no play wristband, wasn't wanting to play just teach him how to play pool while waiting for other party guests while he had a play wrist band, treated me as I was a child when could of just asked politely if I could go buy a band.

Good mix of new and old games... safe, clean, staff was nice.

Playing some of those old arcade games sure did take me back to my youth. Wish they let you play more of their other games for the price you pay. They have a separate area for games that you get tickets, which you have to buy tokens for. Good place to play with your kids and kill a few hours.

I have been taking my boy's here for years! Never a disappointment, they always seem to be getting new arcades and keep the place popping! My family and friends love to come and enjoy gaming at a totally different level!

This place reminds me of the arcades that existed in the mall's during the 90's. So many games to play for one low fee. I spend less money here than Chuck E. Cheese's for a day of fun with the kids. Tornado Terry's is great for birthday parties. There are games that require tokens, but those are located on the same side of the wall as the register.

I have been coming to this place since the 90s and now we take three kids. There are not many places left like this around. Give them your business!

I went here for my brother's graduation and I think the setup is actually really good for how much they charge compared to other arcades. It's because of what they charge that you don't feel obligated to stay for the entire day which is (in my opinion) a nice break sometimes you just need to kill a few hours and their selection for what they charge is perfect for that. I'd actually really like to see small arcades like this in Saginaw. The number of schools and number of kids is increasing, yet entertainmen

I love this place. Great pinball machines and awesome arcade games. They even have a few pool tables. You only have to pay to enter the arcade area. If you are therw for pinball or the games in the pinball room you pay per play. Pinball machines include a pristine "Adam's Family", a new Starwars machine and a 2019 "Munsters"

Fun place to have fun with kids and or grand kids playing old game machines like we did back in the Richland Bowl days. Do it right like we did back in the days one can play for hours. Other nice thing about Terry's is you have free machine play and pay machine play. This tha reason why one play for hours.

This place was awesome! My wife and I saw it on our way home from dinner and decided to stop in! For the price you can't beat it! All of the games are in great working order and the selection was impressive! We will be bringing our nephews here!

SO MUCH FUN!! We had my sons 9th birthday party here and stayed for almost 9 hrs and played. The kids thought it was the coolest thing and most of the adults did to! Can't wait to go back!!

I brought my nephew in for some end of summer fun! We were VERY disappointed! The price was reasonable but the games were poorly maintained. There seems to be no rules and no supervision of the children! Several times my nephew got pushed out of the way by other children. When we had finally had enough the final disappointment came when he was picking his prizes. He picked out some playing cards then immediately changed his mind. I was told he could not switch prizes the girl helping us said no. I asked why

Nice selection in the all you can play zone and great pinball in the pay to play area. Pool, air hockey, vintage and newer video games... ticket machines with a redemption center... great place and reasonably priced. We will be back.

My family has been coming here for years. We have had many birthday parties and events here. It is always a great experience. There is a good selection of games, friendly staff, and the pricing is reasonable.

Pretty fun all you can play arcade. Small building with poor AC but kids loved it. Wish they had a better selection of food though.

My kids and I love this place!! They still give out physical tickets which is why we love this place so much!

I have frequented this establishment several times throughout my years as well as my children. I was with a party didn't pay for a pass because I had my toddler with me and I knew I'd be chasing him around during the time there. One of my older kids was excited to see mk. As I was looking at the game with him and elder woman came up and put HER HANDS ON ME also telling my I don't have a wrist band and to not touch the games. By no means was I about to cause a scene during the party so I continue to follow m

Cool small place. Not an overwhelmingly large selection, but it's fun for hours at a good price with great staff.

I love this place especially carnevil in the future can you add deadstorm pirates special edition please?! Oh and I got first place on carnevil my favorite game there! By the way I had a great time with my freinds last time I was their and I played pool

Cool place to have a birthday party for son or daughter who loves gaming. They have a lot of arcade games to choose from and a pool table. It has that old school feel. My kids love Tornado Terry?s!

I've had a few birthday parties here as a kid. I still come back every once in a long while. This place is great although it used to be a lot cheaper back in the day. I think I remember when it was $7.50 for all day. Now it's 13 bucks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
