Customer Reviews

Super friendly, and helpful staff!! Had a wonderful time today at this location. The employee Brianna was so sweet and gave amazing customer service. I ended up buying a whole set of blind boxes (among some other things lol) thanks to Brianna?s help. The claw machines were fun and had a great variety of plushies as well. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back! :) <3 Ty Brianna!

There are various levels of cute activities to do with your friends around Irvine, but I think Top Canvas is LITERALLY my top recommended activity now. I've never really enjoyed claw machines and only went because I wanted to experience and participate in the activities my friend enjoys to connect with her, but the kind(extremely super, duper kind) workers, prices, and actual ability to WIN prizes allowed for us to both celebrate whenever we both won something. Despite the many activities we did that day,

Best claw machines ever! This place is very generous on giving people a chance to win! With $53 spent, I won 7 really nice good quality stuffed animals. Usually claw machine places have knock off brands and really cheap quality ones, but in this place, I believe there are some legit items here! I went a second day to make sure that I was not just lucky one day. This second day I won 3 good sized prizes as well! Also this place sells surprise boxes as well. I do like how it's not just claw machines. Thank

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This was my first time here but the experience was great! The blind boxes were so cute and they're so much variety. They were stocked up on Sonny?s they were kinda pricey on the Sonny?s but it's understandable. I bought my first ever Nommi and it was so cute!! The staffs were so kind and sweet! The claw machines were not rigged at all! And we got to reorganize the order of the plushies too so it could be easier! We asked to reorganize it like 10 times and every time they were so nice and

This place is so cool!! My family and I had a great time and David really made the experience top notch! He was giving me tips on how to dial my crane game skills and I was able to win multiple times, made for a great time!!

It was a very time with my friends. I would like to give a big shoutout to the employee. His name is David and he gave amazing service to us. He made us laugh and was very nice to us. Someone give him a raise with a big tip on the side.

We got addicted to claw machine arcades thanks to our Vegas trip. They have a few there. When we discovered there's one now in the OC, we had to come. It's definitely pricier than Vegas but not too bad. See my pic for current pricing. Everything is token based. If you buy $100 worth, you'll get a free prize. We spent $100 and it lasted us over 1.5 hours. Each machine is minimum 2 tokens. We played mostly the 3 to 4 tokens machines. Some machines are easy to win. Others are impossible. My little o

Enjoyed coming here up to maybe a couple of months ago, but the quality of the prizes seems to have gone down. This arcade, you keep what you win, there's no trade up system, and a lot of the prizes aren't great. Recently there was a small plush cat in a dancing dragon cape that I went for but it was impossible to get. The combination of the weight of the prize with the size and strength of the claw made it physically not winnable. I should have quit after a few tries, but the draw of the claw machines is t

Between their hidden 7-8% fees and their shady claws with loose grips, this grift of a business won't last long. If you look at the few other customers there you'll notice that others aren't winning much either..... maybe 1-2 wins every 20 bucks. Other similar business in the OC have machines that are more fair and owners who are less shady.

Would not recommend coming here unless you want to waste your money . I spent $50 for 100 tokens thinking it was a good deal however didn't win a single thing , not being a poor sport though because it is very noticeable the machines are ?rigged? and the claws are very loose when grabbing things , you can be exactly on top of an item but the claws don't even close all the way to try lifting it up , it was very frustrating just because you spend money understanding you might not win but being able to notice

David man where would I start. One of the nicest human beings on the planet?. He let me borrow a couple grand to help with surgery. Let me use his car when mine didn't work and he biked it to work. 10/10 costumer service

We were at Orange Claw an hour before this and won at least 15 prizes off the same dollar amount spent here. We are also Round 1 frequent winners. But this place? Holy moly. Horrible claw strength that did not progressively get any better. While their token to dollar ratio seems generous, it is all a ruse because payout is set so high. On top of that, customer service is non-existent for an area that services a nicer part of socal. Maybe because it's a Friday night and they rig the machines to payout a lot

We love going here! The toys in the machine are all good quality and super cute. The staff is super nice and we always win something!

Wow amazing store! Great staff. Alan is the best at customer service and he is attentive to all guest.

Very fun place to bring a date or family. Prizes were easy to obtain. Alan was very helpful and offered tips throughout our time there when we asked. Since it's a claw machine arcade I expected to take more than a few tries to win but it wasn't too difficult and felt rewarding when I won. 5 stars, good value, not difficult to win, fun experience for everyone and located close to restaurants, bowling and AMC.

Most of claws with the machines were weak at the store. The place is cleaned, and probably just fun for kids to experience but really hard to have any reward.

This place has a lot of fun things, from blind box to various claw machines. And the claw machine is not rigged! Got a doll from my first try.

They have cute stuff, however the employees are horrible. They talk bad behind your back and barely help at ALL! I wouldn't recommend to anyone, only if they want to have the worst time of their life. Honestly I would go back only if they hired new employees. Top canvas, please talk to your employees. They are rude and their behavior disgusts me.

This place is awsome! Alot of the cartooms and animes are watch is here and love it! There are also snacks I never seen anywhere else. They also have these anime card packs. This is a place i would love to go to anyday.

Thank you everyone at Top Canvas!!! W Allan for being awesome and giving me & the Twitch viewers a great time. Haul was amazing <3. Thanks for everything!!

I was so excited to shop here for Mofusand and Smiski Hippers, but my experience was beyond disappointing. I bought two blind boxes of each and somehow got duplicates both times?which is pretty rare. The probability of this happening is less than 3% meaning it's incredibly unlikely unless the stock isn't being properly mixed. The whole fun of collecting was completely ruined, and instead of feeling joy, I walked out frustrated and cheated, as if my money didn't matter. They also upsell them at $25 each when

Took my daughter here for her 5th birthday and she had a blast! She started liking claw games from chuck E cheese, and this is way more impressive! There's so many unique and cute toys to go for. I was worried we'd end up empty handed but luckily won a few times! The staff was friendly and gave us some extra tokens. We'll definitely be back!

Pricey! Very fun for my daughter though who likes claw machines i was surprised she was able to win the stuff toys. Enjoy the fun just don't expect it to last very long. Definitely a cool place. Low quality toys

Overpriced and disappointing. Spent 30 minutes without seeing anyone pulls out a singe toy. Not worth a return visit. By the way. They charge sales tax on token purchases. Who does that?

I used to recommend this place because it used to have at least a fair shot of winning when it came to claw games. They have since rigged it. Went in on a busy Labor Day weekend and not a single person won any prizes. Super disappointed. I was wondering why they gave people free tokens if you left a good review.

Talk about expensive. 50 cents a token. Each try takes 3 to 6 tokens. If you are on a date and looking to show off how much you do not care about money then this is great

I thought this location would be really cool since it looked a lot similar to some claw machine spots I visited in Japan, but the older man working upfront at the register was rushing me in picking one of those random anime bag clips with his unnecessary comment. It was pretty unprofessional and rude as the place had the specific series I wanted wrong. Maybe don't say you're selling a series with the box out when it's not even there. I had to dig through it cause another series was in the wrong box. Maybe f

Cute place but is definitely rigged. We spent over $50 and only got a couple small looking plushies. Majority of the machines had plushies heavily stuffed in, making it almost impossible to win. The smaller machines had prizes that were clearly bigger than what the claw can grab. A lot of the machines appeared to have very weak claw and low payout rate. I'm glad I got to try this place out, but I'm definitely not coming back nor do I recommend it. I think the payout rate is more fair at Round1.

A great place to go with friends! lots of fun machines and great prices for sonny angels and sanrio gacha boxes.

This is the first store I've seen that has capybaras in their claw machine ???? If you love plushies you'll find a favorite to take him with you here

More options for claw machines than you would typically see!!! They have capybaras, cats dressed up as different animals and overall a cuteness overload!

Love it here! The employees are so nice and they have Sonny Angels! Be ready to spend your whole paycheck!

Great place to play claw games. Came with some friends. It was our first time and the the employee Alan gave us a whole rundown and provided great customer service explaining everything. Will definitely come back again.

It's super fun here but the claws are not at all as strong as the reviews make them out to be. I'm skilled at claws and I spent over $100 and I only won 7 prizes. That sounds like a lot of prizes but it's really not for the amount of tokens $100 gets you. Usually the more you play the stronger the machines get- I went in on a BUSY Saturday night and almost every claw was weak. The stronger claws were for the one and two token machines. The good prizes are in the four token machines and the claw strength wa

I went here a few weeks after they opened and was amazed to see how many claw machines and figurines they had. The staff was so nice in helping me get tokens as well as helping me with my purchase. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and continue to come back and support this business.

Attendant was nice and helpful, and there were lots of unique blind boxes to pick from. The claw machines however were frustrating. Numerous times my family had dolls clearly and cleanly in the claws and were on their way to drop, only to have them slip out right before the drop. We left disappointed with the entire experience.

Super fun place to play claw games! Huge variety of prizes and merchandise!

Such a cute place :) love the plushies and atmosphere!

Visiting the claw machines at this arcade has quickly become my favorite pastime. The prizes offered are of exceptional quality and always worth the effort of trying to snag. I appreciate how accessible it is to win, making each play both thrilling and rewarding. The excitement of walking away with a unique and high-quality prize is unmatched. I highly recommend giving these claw machines a try - you won't be disappointed!

My son and I came here for the first time and we had a blast! The employees were SUPER friendly and the games weren't rigged so you actually win!! They also have a lot of cool collectible items for sale! You should definitely check this place out!!!

So much fun! Great place to chill and win stuff!

this place is so much fun. They have so many good claw machines and the staff is really helpful. We picked up some thing and it was like halfway on the chute and he gave it to us. highly recommend for anime fans

Great place people are amazing and machines are easy to win

First time going in to this place and I think its a fun place to go. ??

WE LOVE TOP CANVAS! Such a fun place to play games and shop around for the most adorable goodies! No other place like it in Tustin. A must-stop if you're at The District!!!

WARNING ???????? Absolutely horrendous, all of these other reviews must be bots because my experience here was horrendous. First i paid $20 for 40 tokens which is about 10-16 rounds on a claw machine, however ever machine I tried, the claw would be too weak to even carry or push a plushie. This place is an absolute scam that is full of the worse claw machines i?ve ever seen. Truly the worst claw machine experience I've had considering I love claw machines and been all over california playing them, and this

Do not spend your money here the claws have no pressure at all

My daughter loves this place. She's just one squishmalllows Disney

Alan and Angie were really nice and helpful assisting me around the crane machines! Its my first time coming here and i was really surprised by all the affordable blind boxes too. love love love it

Our first time here, it was super cool inside and the kids loved all the toys and choose machines. We'll definitely come back and also visit their other 3 locations in the la area.

Top canvas is one of the best places to go to for claw machines. They have good selection of toys to collect and boxes to be opened. Plus this place feels like you gets your money?s worth when using the claw machines.

Claw machines definitely had low payout, spent $50 and left with 3 cheap plushies. I would not recommend.

This place is so fun! The kids had a blast. Dillon and Allen were extremely helpful and nice. We will be coming back very soon!

This place is super cool to visit! Alot of blind boxes and crane machines. :) I really like the choice of plushies you can get here, along with the pop mart figurines! Would come here again.

?????? The workers are awesome, been a couple times and gotten prizes each time

Love this place! They have such great cute prizes! And alot of adorable blind boxes to choose from too! Staff is very nice and friendly

They have sonny angels and a bunch of claw machines. The blind boxes are affordable too much less money than miniso. Also the workers are really nice

Great place to take friends, family, and kids! They added more claw machines since they first opened so there's a lot more prizes to win. They also sell blind boxes from Miniso and Popmart!

has cute plushes, many claw machines and blind boxes for customers. recommend coming here in your free time, it has a nice plaza as well. must come and enjoy!

Really fun place to go to with your loved ones! The sanrio blind boxes are a really good prize and they have tons of claw machines to play and win prizes from!

The staff here is really nice and everything is fairly priced:) can buy the plushies if you can't win at the claw machines but even the machines are pretty easy:)

Super cute place in the district. It's perfect for a date night after food in the area. Clean store and has a lot of variety for claw machines and various collectibles

10/10 experience! they have lots of cute figurines and cute stuffed animals in the claw machines. i come here for the sanrio figurines which are actually cheaper than miniso

So many blind boxes here and collectibles! Claw machines look fun and there are so many kinds to play and choose from. They sell the plushies too.

Such a fun place for the littles and adults! Just like the one in Korea town. Dylan and Alan are so nice! Go visit if you are in town!!

Super fun place! Claws are relatively strong and plushies are not too hard to get. Staff is also very friendly.

love this place! I come here with my gf every two weeks and they always have some new prizes in the machines. (Small machines are easy)

There's a lot of cute blind boxes and plushes here! The staff are really nice and will adjust the plushes in the claw machine if you need to reposition them

We just stumbled upon this place shopping and they have the cutest prizes and blind boxes! Top canvas is a go to if you love claw machines and cute plushies!

Claws were all very loose. Winning was very difficult. Rigged.

staff is friendly and they have a large variety of stuff! definitely my go-to place for blind boxes. Allen was helpful in finding what i needed!

Overpriced Sonny angels $20+ the keychains are $30?!!! Crazy prices. Workers are pushy super pushy, people with social anxiety please be prepared. popmart figurines + Sanrio were reasonably price. Nice store but def neeeds improvement in some areas.

There's so many blind boxes and claw machines! It's so so cute and super fun. I had a great time perusing the items and choosing what to buy.

Alan was awesome! Super cool spot to visit

Fun little place to bring your family! All of the workers were very helpful and friendly. And cute little plushies in the claw machine

My Kid love this place ! I got a lot toy here

Pretty neat crane game place to try to get plushies and what not. Plushie selection should have more variety but they do have a fake bread crane game machine so that's cool

The place has nice variety. Came here and got some One Piece Mystery bags. Nice staff as well :)

Great assortment! Fun way to kill time before a movie.

Super fun to come here! The chances of winning are actually pretty high compared to most claw machine places :) recommend!

One of my favorite spots in Tustin. Gives me a lot of Round1 vibes. The crane options are really good! There's Pok?mon, Mario, Sanrio, FNAF and a lot of cats!

Such a fun place! I've been back a few times now and it's been a blast every time. Highly recommended!!

Been here a couple of times and enjoy the claw machines a lot! I've won a couple of times and will come back. Great music too ??

First time here and it's super cute and fun! Workers are super nice too. Would suggest gotcha machines!!

I love coming here, the staff are super cool and very friendly and helpful! I'd definitely recommend if you love blind boxes, claw machines, and collectibles!

I came here last time with my friend and we both won the cutest cats, the employees here are so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place and would come back.

Most claw places are rigged with loose claws but this place was fair. Spent 10 dollars on tokens and won three prizes!

Cool little spot that we stumbled across. It's not as busy as the claw arcade in Vegas but it's the closest one we've across since then. I'd come back for sure

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
