Just visited Token last week after their remodel and everything looks great. Large variety of TCG to choose from, board games, pinball/arcade and now a new full motion VR Omni arena. Also, there is a large board game area in the back to sit and play with your friends or kids. They even let you play some board games before buying! Highly recommend you check it out.

I used to love shopping here and was fine with the $5-10 markups since it's a local card store but reselling the newest Pokemon Prismatic Evolutions card set for *double* the price is scalping. They could at least sell them for a relatively normal price and make people open them in store to prevent future scalping if that's what they're worried about. But perpetuating the scalping is really messed up and just hurts the community of people who want to actually buy and open the cards.

Recently started collecting pokemon cards. Just finished stellar crown set and went in looking for a new set to start collecting. I usually get my cards from the official vending machine, so I expected this third party source to have higher profit margins (gotta stay in business, ya know), but the prices at this store will make you believe a scalper has set up shop. We played the Omni Arena VR games. It was amazing. It is very pricey. I would play more if it was cheaper.

Great example of institutionalized scalping of cards. They need to have their ability to sell official product revoked. Places like these are why I'm going back to GameStop.

This place has much more than you'd expect. VR with harness so you can run around in VR, several pinball tables from Stern Pinball, Mario Kart racing twin arcade unit, as well as PLENTY of space for tabletop gaming. Came here to shop for my kid, for Christmas. Walked in store and was told By a guy in a mask "we close in 15 minutes." With attitude. While there is about 10 people sitting playing a game. Don't give them a dime.

We visited Token to play Friday night Magic while in the DC area for my Son's 8th grade American History trip for school. My girlfriend, Son and I all played. It was our second time and my son's first. We had a blast! We felt immediately comfortable and welcomed, as if we had been playing for years. The staff and patrons were kind and very helpful. Amazing place, they treat you like a family. Keep in mind if you get a misprint they are generally worth more then the original card, if you don't want you're misprint's i will buy them for what you paid

We played some of the pinball machines, and the premium Avengers and Deadpool games were especially fun. The place was busy with people playing card/board games, and the staff were friendly. The selection of board games for sale seemed pretty good too.

We drove more than an hour to check out Token, only to find the store was closed with no prior notice on their Twitter or website. Their business hours were also not updated on Google. Quite frustrating.

We had my sons 7th birthday here over the weekend and it could not have been easier. They did everything! All I did was tell them the number of kids and what theme. We told them Pokemon and showed up day of and the table was decorated for a Pokemon themed party. They led the kids in how to play, they got pizza, and then tokens for the games, had cupcakes, and they provided goodie bags with 2 Pokemon card packs in. My son had a great time and so did all the kids. So easy!

We had our son's birthday party here yesterday and it was AWESOME! Everyone had a great time and they literally took care of everything from teaching the Pokemon game to food and dessert to party bags. Would HIGHLY recommend having your kids party here if they love games! Staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating!

It is a nice "mom and pop" card shop, that greatly cares about the quality of its arcade and it's card/board game atmosphere. They were very accommodating with my VR time with their Omni Arena there, and it was a breath of fresh air from all the major corporatized places that had said attraction. I will happily travel four hours again, and gladly help them in future endeavors.

My son and his friend had their birthday party at Token this past weekend. It was awesome! The folks at Token did a great job taking care of everything- getting the pizza, cupcakes, game tokens, etc. We did the VR package, and the kids had a blast! It's a ways out for me but worth the trip! Owner was extremely nice and helpful! Told me about all events the store holds, and the selection was great! For MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pok?mon as well. Also had a big selection of card sleeves and many board games!

Very cool place. I spent most my time there at the arcade. Some very cool pinball machines and some other stuff too. They also have a wide selection from all the popular TCGs. The staff was great and very accommodating to the party I was attending.

There are not a lot of options for game stores in the Annapolis area so walking into Token was a breath of fresh air. It's easy to get to, clean, plentifully stocked and the employee (Or owner, I should've asked) that I accidentally bombarded with questions was extremely helpful with explaining how everything in the store worked. On the product side of things, their sealed was fairly yet competitively priced and I can say the same about their singles selection after a quick inspection of their online store.

Don't shop here i over paid for misprinted cards then when I asked for a refund I got nothing but attitude and and was shown the door.

Privately owned by wonderful people who will make you feel right at home. There is space for board and card games; they have even expanded their space to include pinball machines! I have never had a bad experience coming here, highly recommended.

The people who work here are literally the sweetest. They treat everyone like Token is their home and the people who play here are friendly as well. A case of if you give kindness you get kindness. Lots of kids even come here with parents because it is such a positive environment for new card game players.

Outstanding! I lack the vocabulary required to express just how wonderful this place is. My son is Autistic and plays there every Saturday. The owners, staff and even the other patrons go out of their way to help him learn the games and make him feel welcome. Very nice store. Staff was very friendly. Had a great selection. Definitely worth a stop for anything TCG related. I went in looking for Pokemon and Lorcana and they had both.

This place was recommended to my husband for their Pok?mon themed birthday parties. We just had a 12 kids, ages 9-10, party there. Everyone enjoyed learning to play Pok?mon, and all of the food was provided. It takes a load off from having to bring your own food. There's a arcade that they played in for 40 minutes at the end with decently priced tokens. They also provide goodie bags with Pok?mon packs and accessories. Would definitely use them again for this service.

I feel like a regular I tried to go every sat as much as possible. Such a friendly environment join the board games, ps4 games, especially card games. Join a match of yugi yo or magic maybe something else but definitely lots of fun and entertainment. They have great options for games and they are still growing come support your local game shop.

Owner is one of the most genuine people and very excited for the next step for TokenMTG! Some of the most honest and nicest people in the industry. As other stores had been price gouging during the pandemic, Token kept true to their customers and had extremely good prices and going the extra mile to ensure all customers got what they needed. My 6 year old wanted a Pokeman birthday party and Token MTG hosted us at their store/arcade. It went off without a hitch! Pizza, cupcakes, a personal tutorial and guide for the kids on how to play the Pokeman game, and they even threw in tokens for their arcade games! Who could ask for more? Cant say enough good things!! Found this place by total chance. Walked in and saw Celebrations for retail and then saw that big genuine smile and knew this was THE place. Very clean and small kid friendly. Came back with the kids and ripped 2 etbs at the card tables. Kids had a blast and pulled shining magicarp and gs umbreon. Thanks and see you again soon
