Customer Reviews

Great place!! It's $29 (including tax) for 2 people to bowl for 1 hour. (Around 2 complete games) they have a few arcade/stuffed animal games. And 2 pool tables. They serve beer and food. They have nice shoes and balls

I rented 2 lanes & party room for 2 hours for Afforable price. Had some trouble with one of lanes so they gave us extra hour. Party was great. Tv?s, family oriented, great staff working very hard to keep lanes working properly. Food was great, clean & my son kept saying how much fun he had. BIG HIT!!! Thanks for being a part of our special day. Everyone go check them out. Take your family. It's a lil crowded so use hand sanitizer & stay in your section. Have fun

Visited the bowling center to hang with some friends after a wedding and had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty as well. I got the corn dog and it really hit the spot. Overall a really great experience.

Really enjoyable and inexpensive kids loved it they serve drinks food and beer we all had great time

Friendly staff. Great prices on food and drink! Lots of fun.

Even though this is a small hole in the wall, we enjoy going with the kids when we don't have time or feel like going out of town. The staff has been friendly the few times we have went bowling here. I'm wanting to say they are a little more expensive than the larger bowling alleys, but cannot say for sure as it has been a little while. Overall, I think it's a good place to go, just don't expect anything too fancy. Also, my kids said not to play the air hockey. Evidently it's not working properly...

I had a great time with my three little ones.

We had such a great time!

Took the grandsons and they had absolute blast. Warmly greeted when we arrived. Very easy to get a lane. The person at the counter found a very light ball for the grandsons. Very thoughtful. Definitely will be going back!!

Oh my goodness We had a BLAST!!!! The staff was amazing !! I'd like to thank them for an amazing evening. Helping our family make a great memory. Our boys (11 and 13) had a blast And the food was incredible as well. And so we'll priced. We definitely give Toccoa Bowling Center 5 stars would give more if we could. Recommend this for a great family activity. We bowled, played pool, and played arcade games.

We had a great overall experience, although I do have 1 complaint to share for those who may use the "pay per hour" option for bowling. We arrived and paid for an hour. We figured the hour would start once we activated the bowling lane, it didn't. While I was buying some drinks and we were picking out our bowling balls and shoes, the time was ticking away on our bowling. When we finally got to the keyboard and activated our lane we had 45 minutes left to bowl. When I asked the front counter about it, they

Some of our church went to Toccoa Bowling Alley and had the best experience! They were so patient, with such great hospitality, and everything went so smoothly! It is a clean place, with friendly kind workers! I Highly recommend it and will definitely be going again!

Had my one year old?s and three year old?s birthday party here. Was told by the man (I assumed he was the owner) that he wasn't going to charge me full price bc my children were so young and unable to bowl. The day of the party came and the women working were extremely rude to me and everyone at the party. One asked if I was going to pay for the party before it even started, I stated I did she said no you didn't you paid the deposit.. the man I booked the party with told me he put the receipt under the reg

Very nice and clean. Lanes have obviously been updated and are well oiled. Will definitely be back!

Rose Lane Bowling has been a great place for making lasting memories with friends and family as I was coming up. Now, I'm getting to relive and create new memories with the next generation. My son loves it.

Great customer service! Lots of fun for our family from ages 3 to 40!!

I've been visiting Rose Lanes off and on for 20 years. I stopped going for years because it got bad there. I visited again last night and the new management has made a tremendous difference. It's the best I've ever seen it... good job you guys! I was truly impressed. It was clean and didn't have the permeating dirty sock smell that no one else seems to have been able to get rid of. The atmosphere was much better, it no longer feels shifty or unsafe as it has on prior occasions. The staff were the most impre

Walked in at 8:08 on a Sunday and they said they were closed up. They don't respect their posted hours

Would have rated it 5 stars but some of the bowling balls got stuck behind the pins and were just rolling and no one was fixing it and our time was still going. My fiance when to see if someone was back there and the guy was on his phone not paying attention. Besides that it was a blast! I haven't been in awhile so i wasn't that great but I plan on going more often and get better at it.

Fun date night with the kids. I just wished we could have put the bumpers down for each player, but besides that, it was a fun experience. When we walked in, the guy said, "Welcome to the only thing to do in Toccoa."

Very fun. Little too crowded if you're looking for a cute romantic night out with the husband. But if you're looking for kid like fun and having a great time watching others do as bad at bowling as you are.... And some not so bad.. really talented... ??????????.. go ahead and have a wonderful time because you will.

We drove 60 miles to go bowling here. The staff was very friendly and excellent customer service. Very family friendly! It was, well worth the drive! Will go again very soon. The best part for me was, the staff will tell you Thank You, not that junk" Have a good one".

Had Granddaughter Bday party here. They didn't have there stuff together. Didn't know we were even coming. After calling and talking to someone and confirming 3 times... but all was good and she enjoyed herself. Staff was friendly, just not prepared like should of been.

Great experience for a large group event on a Saturday night! The staff was helpful and as attentitive as they could be with our large crowd plus other customers. Only complaints are that the skiball machine ate some of our quarters and that the only music is pay-to-play and there were some young adults playing really inappropriate music for the kids in our group and in the rest of the alley. I would definitely come back if I didn't live in another part of the country!

Absolutely loved it ! People were friendly ! Facilities were clean and nice. The food was great ! The Manager was the best. He made sure everyone was there to have a nice time and made sure everyone was taken care of !

We came by at 7:00 pm on a Wednesday evening. Their posted hours on Google, Facebook, and the sign on their door, said they'd be open until 9:00 pm. We got there and there were three cars in the parking lot but the door was locked and the lights were partially off. We knocked and waited a bit, but nobody came. I thought it was weird and my kids were disappointed, but I know emergencies come up and things happen. So, I messaged them on Facebook to inquire about their hours but they just read my message and d

Fun! I thought it was funny that instead of cooking a whole pizza and reheating slices, they used a scissors and cut slices off the whole pizza while it was still frozen, then cooked those. Not complaining, it was just the first time I'd seen that. Bowling was great, no problems with our lane, lanes seem to be in great condition.

This is a fun place to take a family for not only bowling but also other fun things. They have ample snacks, drinks, and arcade games. Their bowling lanes are very accessible. I was able to get my large mechanical wheelchair down to the lane. The attendant even helped remove debris from wheels so as not to damage the lane.

Gave 3 stars cause their were so many lanes down. Waited forever for our group to get a lane. Sorry but the teenagers working their were most interested in talking than helping costumers. Besides all that we did have a good time!

Great experience and wonderful staff. We went as a huge church group and they were very kind and professional!

Staff was nice, but some of the music was very in appropriate, one song had f word three times, sh word once I heard and n word at least twice, for a supposed family center and my 5 year old was with us, also was a disturbance in lanes that wasn't management fault, but the group that caused it was saying some things that were uncalled for. Prob won't be back anytime soon.

Cute, small and clean little bowling center. We enjoyed the small pool tables. The owner was very friendly. We will definitely return.

We loved this place!!! We went on a Monday at 4pm and there wasn't many people there which is a shame because its gr8!! The food was excellent too!!!

Very bad experience. Staff was extremely rude. No balls available and only one set of shoes in my size available, which were so worn on the bottom I slid. I highly highly recommend finding another bowling alley.

Wonderful atmosphere and some of the nicest people I've met in a bowling alley. It's a bit outdated but still had a wonderful time. Prices are super cheap and the location is in the middle of nowhere. Perfect little stop for some fun!

Not too busy and reasonably priced. Family friendly atmosphere.

Came over for the unlimited 9:00 p.m. till midnight special.. Around 10:30 or so the lights came on, and we was approached by one of the staff... They said we need to be finishing up because they were gonna close early due to lack of business.. They said there wasn't enough people in there to waste the power to stay open... We said we paid for three hours of bowling.. They said sorry.. So... I ask for a manager or the owners name the worker just laughed and walked away... Thats fine... I will not be back...

Game prices are double any other facility. No air condition. My whole crew roasted to make it to three games. Priced way to high for the condition. This is the only alley that charges you up front that i know of.

Went the other night with a few coworkers, they are under new management now and they no longer turn the lights off and the neon lights on. They ruined a great experience

The teens running the place would ignore us. The balls kept getting jammed, and they refused to give us a little more play time to finish our timed your game after we had lost over 30 minutes from waiting on them to fix the stuck balls.

We always love Rose Lane Bowling Center it's always fun for the kids great place to come and hang out very fun games very affordable and just all about good service love being able to order this type style for the food makes it wonderful. We will definitely be back in the future love the staff

I would have to say that this is the worst experience I've ever had in a bowling alley. The employees there were nice, and I almost feel bad for them, because they had to deal with constant issues. The lane would constantly hold our balls for 10-15 minutes at a time. Sometimes, when resetting the pins, the pins would fall over and the machine would count that as your score. The whole building had an atmosphere of a place long past its prime, with old, worn down and broken machines in what I could barely cal

Heard about this from a friend because me and my beautiful wife and I wanted to take my beautiful daughter bowling the first time. She had so much fun now she wishes to be a bowler (omg a lot of money) Thanks for the fun. 5*****s I'll be expecting y'all to pick up half that tab on the expenses of her wanting to be a professional bowler

Looking for something to do in Toccoa, this fits the need. Very nicely decorated, clean and neat. Pin setter are original so occasionally there are mechanical issues but always taken care of by the staff. A very active Youth League on Saturday Mornings. One of my friend's son bowls on this league and has earned $2,000 in college scholarship funds participating in tournaments..

Friendly enviroment and staff! Great prices and you can win prizes with tickets from the little arcade! If bowling isn't for you then you can play pool, if you want some tunes there's an app you can download for the jukebox, and finally BEER!

Actually pretty good for a small town - clean, bright and decent size. Fun little arcade four kids. No great shakes, but good for what it is.

Great atmosphere. Staff was helpful, kind, and friendly. Will definitely be revisiting a great deal. Great place for all ages.

My son bowls here Saturday morning. It's a really nice bowling alley. Food prices are a bit high in my opinion but I've never had anything bad.

Good Ole local place to hang out and bowl. Staff is really nice and helpful.

Employees here have a I don't care about customer attitude and lanes are ball return are in poor condition was very disappointed with such an " updated" bowling alley, wished I had went to Blvd Lanes in Anderson SC will not go back to Toccoa Bowling Center again only one other lane being used and at least 3 employees who were not helpful at all this place is also extremely high on their prices compared to other bowling alleys in this area of Ga.

Kinda crappy, 10bucks for a 5 dollar digiorno pizza. 3.25-4.50 on beers. Not all the games work properly... better off going to Clarkesville Lanes if you can make the drive.

We had a ball, haha. Staff that works here really go above and beyond to make it a good time. Even for horrible Bowlers like us if you get a spare, they will play Saturday night fever for you.!

The work stayed in the back on her phone !! I waited 20 minutes just to ask for a drink. The games are also RIP offs. It takes your money and don't let you play.

Very fun nice staff highly recommend cant wait to go back they could work on sanitizing everything alot more then what they do and keeping up the place

Great place nice and clean no lane issues will be back

oh by far the most memorable i blurted out i love you after he beat me in a game of pool ....lol ...very fond memories indeed

Newly renovated. Friendly service. Good food. Fun for all ages. Only downside is the shoes are obviously old.

Always have a good time here.

Half the time the lanes are breaking down! The ATM DOES NOT WORK IN THERE !!! Half the games will take your money and when you go tell them they say " They can do anything about it because it doesn't belong to them, and that you will have yo call the number on the machine".

It's really small but prices are good and the food was great. Very fun time.

Had a lot of fun but very limited on their adult beverages. Food portions were small for the price.

Great place. Went during the day and whole place to ourselves.

Never again!! I had to deal with racist people with rude comments..and all the staff could say was "He didn't hear them" if I would have taken matters into my own hands it would have been a major problem!!! I SPENT 100$ AND THIS IS THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Very nice remodel. Everything is clean and well maintained. Had a great time this afternoon

Cool place enjoyed bowling and a few beers and the people were very friendly!

Very wonderful , bowling place , my new experience !!! Very wonderful , friendly people helped me and my friend !!! I will , definitely , go , again !!!

My kids had alot of fun

We had a great time bowling. The employees were great and the place was very clean.

The cheapest around. The lanes were well maintained. Small, but peaceful atmosphere. ??

Clean , friendly staff , great prices , nice music

Had some trouble with the lane we where on but the staff was helpful and didn't hesitate to give us a different one.

Super clean family Bowling Center...They have been doing a tremendous amount of work on the machines which are clearly working better.

Family fun. Bowled a game, played music, played pool, and the kids played arcade games. Decent shoes and balls. Looking forward to glow bowling.

A lot of fun and good prices. The ice cream was old in my son's root beer float.

Fun family place to visit for any age group. Welcoming and helpful staff.

Clean restrooms and friendly staff great prices

Great place and Family Fun... The Staff and Owners Exceptional! Great Bowling come on and try it!

Could have the cool neon lights and dimmer lighting , good fun all around place

Nice bowling alley and good food. Treated very well.

Nice local bowling center. Friendly staff. Features small arcade and food.

Cute little bowling alley, nice staff, fun family and friends activity ??

It was terrible it was very hot in there and our balls was getting stuck back there in the back I would not recommend anybody to go to Rose Lane

Nice people. They have pool tables and an outside smoking area.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
