TNT Bowling Center

TNT Bowling Center

Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed but lean positive, with many praising the fun atmosphere, affordable prices, and nostalgic charm. Food quality receives compliments, though service is inconsistent—some report slow or inattentive staff. Bowling lanes and arcade games often have technical issues, frustrating guests. Families enjoy the space for parties, but some note unruly kids and outdated equipment. While improvements are acknowledged, disorganization and broken amenities detract from the experience for others. Most would return despite flaws, valuing the laid-back vibe and potential.

Better than it was for sure but just a few issues that need to be worked on. The service is a big issue for me. I was raised by my grandmother who used to wait tables so I'm an over tipper typically but in return I expect to have good service but when they're empty glasses and we have to wave down other employees just to get things we need it really does make you question yourself about spending any money, a couple of the games were out of order and the food, menu and portions really need to be worked on. My daughter had an internship at the Trane plant across the street . When.in town for a visit we went bowling The facility was large and had a large game area. There were pool tables as well. Food and snacks were available. The gentleman that helped us was very friendly and helpful. The facilities and equipment were older and a bit worn, but still serviceable. It had a family friendly environment. It reminded me of the bowling alley in the small town where I grew up. I hope that this business survived the c

Cute place. Enjoyed bowling with my Dad this past weekend (6/22/19). They sell socks, so you can still bowl if you forgot to wear them. Not super up-to-date or well maintained, although the scoreboard was always accurate. The balls had lots of scratches, and sometimes they would "disappear," and we would have to either call an employee over or bowl another ball to get it to come out. Music was a little too loud, in my opinion, and not always tasteful. However, I still had plenty of fun bowling and even gett

While the experience was fun, the staff at TNT Bowling Center is extremely disorganized. The kitchen prioritizes serving people they know over those who have been waiting for an hour. We had to switch lanes three times because they kept shutting down, which made the experience quite frustrating. The staff seemed unmotivated and inattentive. I waited the entire game for my food, only to receive it when the game was over, and it was disappointing. The service and employee attitude were both lacking. Unfortuna

A little better set-up than before and a lot cleaner than I ever seen it. Great bowling, good pool tables and, more up to date video games. Not very many but they're nice. Good clean food service area and it really needed that before. I don't know if it's a new owner or new management but it can't be the same as before. It's so much cleaner and better than it's ever been. It didn't look that good when it was new. Someone has something to be proud of now for sure.

I work here its great it has a bar and an arcade and pool tables

Nice place to Go on a date on.. real laid-back real low key I enjoyed it

Being as they just opened back up under new ownership, I'm sure they are trying to get a grasp on what kind of crowd they should expect and how they should staff to appropriately handle the customer flow. The food service was not the best, but the cheese curds, burgers and fries were delicious once we finally received our food. I don't recommend the fried pickles as they are large pickle wedges breaded and deep fried and were very awkward to eat while bowling. I was expecting pickle chips. Otherwise, I'll

Great people. Set up a last minute birthday party even when they had 3 other parties planned at the same time. They were able to accommodate us and most of our needs with kindness helpful and appreciation. Not to price. Rates for rental of lanes and shoes are really decent. Only draw back is there arcade area most of the machines work but need and are up to date but good use a good once over. Overall great experience. Great people. Well worth the money and time

Fun. Machines are a little wonkie on the lanes and the arcade games steal a bunch of quarters. Hard to get service but the waitresses seem busy. I waited 6 minutes to get my pins reset but nobody added that time back to my game. I'll go back, but they need to fix a bunch of stuff.

My family went there for my birthday and was very impressed with the place. Very friendly staff, other than a few things out of their control, very enjoyable time. Will be back in the future.

It's the only place in town that really is all inclusive fun for the entire family. My son and I have had the opportunity to make several memories there with friends and between us. He always has fun. They have arcade games and laser tag available as well as a neat party package deal. My only complaint is, the lane froze several times on our last visit but the staff did not hesitate to run down and adjust it each time.

Do not waste your time & money on this place. It has went downhill very fast in the past 4 years. My family and I went and the AC was broke, they had fans going but it's summer in South Ga, so the fans didnt do much. The lanes that do work are worn & hard to bowl on. Balls are old , chipped and terrible. They do have an arcade and pool tables, which are all great. Food is way over priced, even for a bowling alley. Went to order food and had to wait for over 10 minutes while the employee was on a smoke break

Great atmosphere when you wanna relax and eat

This place has become the place to drop off your child(not just teens). My family and I enjoy coming to just play arcade and pool. However the past couple of times we have encountered disrespectful children. I would love to see either adult supervision, cameras posted or a paid employee to be in attendance at all times. Laser tag is awesome! The colors and set up was amazing. I think the set up team should explain it to the children participating so they can understand how to play. Bowling was definitely

Well that didn't take very long.

Didn't have high expectations when I went with some friends, was still let down. The two lanes our group were bowling in were broken all night. Staff was friendly but I would never go back.

We went to shoot some pool ??. There was no air, the room all black & hot like Satan was over at the outer table. Lol We were going to bowl because it was cooler in there but we had to leave. We'll go back to bowl another time. The counter guy was nice & funny.

Great place to have fun and get exercise have a great time with Friends and your Family!!! Very nice place to have fun and sit back and relax. Recommend this Bowling alley to anyone for a good get together.

The place needs work but there are improvements being made!! The lanes need to be replaced, house balls need to be replaced, machines need work. But the food is delicious. The bar is great.

The bowling lanes are warped, they always breaking or not resetting

Very clean place. Nice on the inside with vending bowling a game room with several games and a few pool tables. I know my family enjoyed our time there and your will to.

I visited Vidalia for the. First time to see my grandson, The town reminds me of my growing up as a liitle girl, The best part of the trip wad the bowling havent bowled in years It was awsome very pleasant atmosphere .

Loved it! It was great bowling in a smaller place ???? the people were nice and polite when we were there it wasn't busy so it was easy to get lost in the game with the kids!!

Some of the equipment might be a little outdated. But the atmosphere and the staff extremely make up where this is lacking. Definitely will go again and most definitely will refer

Drove 30mins to take my kids here just to get there and find out it's closed the hours on here are wrong and what made me even more mad was a worker was there and told me they were closed I said the online hours says you open at 4pm she said I know thats old those hours aren't right. If you know the online hours are wrong why don't you change it !

Went at 8 with my 3 year old cousin, it was closed and the lights were still on. All of the arcading games were plugged up and working. All of the doors were locked.

Love the atmosphere really live and bowling is great. Food is good.

This place has came a long way. It's infinitely better than the old TNT. Decent selection of good food and drinks

No food or drinks and everything was broken the lanes were fine the computer system was fair hard to understand guess home town hidden away not like used too

This place is one of the most fun places in vidalia, my family comes often, and has lots of fun. If your having a boring weekend, i recomend coming here with friends and/or family.

A little slow on Wednesdays but a great place for the family to bowl and the kids to play in the arcade. Also really great food in the snack shack.

Machines kept getting stuck, but me and the family did get half price off, and we where moved to another machine that's what I call good business

Love this place best little bowling place and cheat and u don't pay until ur done I drive 45 mins away to go here

It's an old school small town bowling alley. It is what it is. And price wise, 3 people all included, 1 game was $23.

It was a awesome experience and the staff and environment was the best and the price was affordable for family

This is a fun place good place to go on a budget it's not pricey at all pretty cheap

Bowling was fun, but gameroom was ok, but there was no change machine

Great for the family! We had a blast bowling, playing laser tag, and in the arcade!

Very hot. No air conditioning. Hotttttt and more hot. Run down place.

The only bowling alley in Vidalia and surrounding areas. My son and I always have a blast going here

Very nice. Affordable place to bowl. Way better than Statesboro.

Wonderful Family Entertainment Center with a Nice Arcade, setup for Birthday Partys etc

Music is good, arcade is adequate, lanes are not of very good condition. Still a good time

Had a few problems in the begginning with the lanes but they fixed it and me and my family had a great time!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
