Not too crowded, but it was a Tuesday around 5. Food was good, friendly servers and hostess. It was clean and fun.

A lot of different activities to do here. The place is clean, and the staff was great. Pricing is also very reasonable. We waited less than 30min for bowling on a Saturday night around 10pm. Also played around in the arcade that was practically empty.

I came here on a Friday evening with my kids. It's a decent play but I think price wise it was expensive. We arrived at 6.06pm and seems price of everything blows up past 6pm. Spent $80 to buy 2 cards for Arcade and it was gone within the hour. Didn't think we got value for money spent. Maybe timing was wrong. I do not recommend this place if you are on a budget and want more value for your bucks.

Extremely disappointed in this facility. Attempted to circle back and remedy a situation where we did not feel that the staff did right by loyal customers. They have advertised for 2 specials they charged for normal rates when. We mentioned 3 times we have 2 dads with our group. They didn't care they eye rolled us and gave attitudes. I was told I'm forcing the manager on duty to give me something free when I was asking for her to fix the situation that left a very sour taste in my mouth. We've been coming h

Initial Impressions Sidelined by Unacceptable Staff Conduct Our visit to New Times Square Entertainment in Katy, Texas, was one we had truly looked forward to. The online reviews painted a picture of a fun, lively venue, perfect for a family outing. The bright lights and array of activities ? bowling, arcade games, laser tag ? all suggested we were in for a great time, and our anticapation was quite high upon arrival. However, our experience took an abrupt, and deeply disappointing turn almost immediately u

My family reserved The Grand Plaza room for 30 plus people. The size of the room was perfect to accommodate us all and there was enough seating in both dining chairs and cushioned sofas. The music in that area was very faint which I thought was being drowned out by the many of people we had in our party but even when the talking was to a minimum, we still couldn't really hear the music. Most bowling alleys have the music up loud enough to set you in a party mood. Of course, there was a lot of food ordered

It's relatively clean, and their lanes seem well maintained and oiled, maybe due to the fact that I typically bowl before the league bowlers get there. The ball returns scuff up my bowling balls pretty good. The pro shop has a decent selection of balls and gear, and they can order pretty much anything. PSO is knowledgeable. They have a small arcade to entertain kids that get bored with bowling. Pool tables and cues are what you'd expect at a venue that is primarily for bowling. Food is good enough to satis

I enjoy coming here but they close early every single night. I have been told by front desk staff if you are not here by 11 don't expect to play, when their hours is listed as closing at 12. Plus the male ginger host is honestly rude. I'll be spend my money somewhere elsewhere with friendlier staff.

Had a fun night there. There are arcades, bowling and laser tag there. The food price was reasonable as well. I did not have a chance to try out, so I don't have recommendations this time, sorry. It's a fun place for family, couples, and friends to hang out there. Definitely recommend it and will go again. They also have different price and deals for different hours. Check their website to see which deals work for you the best. If not, it's still an affordable entertainment.

The place used to be better. But now they don't offer league rates even on slow days for their own in house league bowlers when there are 20 lanes open. Certainly have lost alot of respect for this place. Been coming here since 2005

Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff! We had the BBQ Bacon burger and the Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado for lunch and they were both fantastic for a good price.

This is the perfect place to bring your friends or family for a good time. Food was fresh and the customer service was great! We'll be back again and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Absolute BS place to go for any kind of entertainment. My wife and I have been coming here for years because of their great deals, but the other night this employee was harassing us about our shoes (we've never had issues wearing non bowling shoes). We wear non-slip work shoes and those are actually safer in our experience than the smooth, worn out bowling shoes the establishment provides for rental. This specific employee who approached us spilled a soda last time we visited and did not clean it up. He did

Just to be clear, I bowl a lot in a lot of different places all throughout houston. Times squared has the best prices best lanes, one of the best food selections, best deals and very friendly staff. I am blessed to have them Right down the street from my house. The only complaint I have is They have leagues here all the time, and sometimes it's hard to get a lane.

My daughter loves it and they are good for any age group

Our family enjoys bowling and some pool. Good family fun!

Bowling was enjoyable but..... the cashier who rang us up (delay) had a delay in understanding everything. We asked for the early bird special for 2 hours. He only gave us 1 (we had to go back and purchase another because the first cashier did not ring us up for 2 like we asked. We told him how to spell our names LETTER FOR LETTER and he still did not spell it right. He had poor customer service but other than that, food was good. Bowling was fun. No issues while bowling with the equipment.

Great time for two hours of bowling with a group and two lanes. Wait time was only 15 minutes, staff was friendly, and they gave military & first responder discounts. Thanks Times Square, we had a great time!

Julian and Bryan were amazing! We had a big group come in as a team outing and they were so helpful. Give them a raise.

A Clean and Nice Bowling Facility. Good prices. Great Food

Love this place! We always have fun when we come here and I feel like the pricing is reasonable for bowling. It's always pretty clean and the food is so good! Love their bar area. Staff is friendly even on really busy nights- Saturdays can be a little packed so plan ahead! We like to come here for birthday parties!

We have always had a blast bowling and playing games in the arcade here at Times Square. The employees were helpful when my son bowled for the first time, and I appreciated the fast service. I love how the arcade has the self-serve kiosk for obtaining a game card. It's so much easier these days!

We made online reservations in advance for a Saturday evening outing. Easy to check in and get our bowling shoes. This place is nice and spacious. They have bowling lanes, arcade games, and pool tables. They do serve food and alcoholic beverages. The bar area was very spacious. We had to order our alcoholic drinks at the bar and take them to our bowling lane. You can have your food delivered to your bowling lane once you order it from the snack bar or bar area. The service was great. They added an extra

Times Square Entertainment has a great family (as opposed to corporate) vibe. Every employee I encountered was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there. Food was good and we had a great time.

Hidden in the back of the shopping center, you'll find Main events cheaper cousin TSE! It's definitely affordable entertainment for all ages.

A really relaxed atmosphere, a nice place to come and get away from hustle and bustle. Bowling, arcade, bar, pool and VR gives you options for things to do. The staff is top notch, always willing to help and make your experience memorable.

We hd fun and it's was a cheap hang session.. it was a bit meh regarding the atmosphere. The bathrooms... ikk..! The pool tables were dirty n the balls including the cue.. were chipped. I hd clearly missed a shot but the ball rolled over a chipped area n luckily rolled the opposite direction in landed in the pocket! Lol! Smh...

My kid really enjoyed herself. It wasn't packed, and she was able to play basketball connect four against her mom all day lol

Great place, family friendly. Our lane was a bit crowded, the party next to use was hogging chairs that belonged to our table/lane a little courtesy would be nice nowadays.

Bryan and Julian were absolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend! Pizza and drinks were amazing!

Very disappointed today, Me and my son visit weekly and we bowl 3 games each. Today was a nightmare. We were assigned lane 32. It was so horrible, every two or three turns we took our balls would not return. I sent my son to the desk the first time the balls were stuck. Sometimes when our first ball would not return, we'd use a house ball for our second shot, then the house ball would stick also. Instead of walking down to the desk over and over, I used my cell phone to call the front desk. After about 10 c

Family fun with adults down to toddlers. We all had a great time. Had a wait for the bowling lanes so we played pool until it was our turn & hit the bar.

We had an Awesome time for my Neices 6th Birthday Party !!! The front desk staff was excellent and our party server Stephanie was great, even with broken fingers .. That was my first time there, but will definitely come again ...

We had fun food was decent typical bowling alley food. Staff handing out shoes and registration was nice but the staff where you order food nit so much seems like they didn't want to be there. Overall great experience. Will go back

Times square is one my favorite places to bring my family and friends to have fun and is a great place for family gatherings great customer service and friendly staff

I've been going to time square for a long time. I go every Sunday for the early bird special because it's $8 per person/hour. I wanted to bowl for 2 hours, however, they charged me $16 for an hour because that's ?how their system works.? No matter what, they charge by a 2 people requirement. Their poster says the requirement must be at least 2 people OR a $16 dollar requirement. The poster is very misleading and false advertising.

The games were decent enough, but about half them were either not working or had errors that would occur.

We had so much fun! If you go friday after 10:00 PM you have unlimites play card and bowling.

Fun place to go if you want to enjoy time with friends and family.

Great fun for all the family. Bowling, laser tag and lots of arcade games. Getting the card to swipe for the arcade is great for the kids to try different games.

Loved this place! Very affordable and super family friendly! We went bowling and it was a great time. Lane prices are great and they offer lots of specials. Will definitely be back to do other activities. They also offer free kids bowling April thru Nov which is great! Highly recommend!

Fun, family friendly environment. Helpful, patient staff. Good food!

Good place to take the family for some fun. They got a bit of everything.

We didn't have to wait for a lane. It pays to go when they first open.

I go bowling there a lot and all the staff are nice and they oil there lanes every single day unlike main event.

Over the summer, I always do the Kids Bowl Free. It is a great activity for children and sometimes I pay additional so I can bowl as well. The staff at the establishment is always attentive to what I need so I never have any complaints. They are always polite and contact someone to handle any issues that occur with the lane . I don't really eat much there but my children have no problem devouring the chicken tenders and fries and the personal cheese pizza.

If I could put no stars I would this is the worst place ever. Blonde woman cashier around 4 p.m. on Sunday is very rude. I felt that way when I came in around July, but she's still working there. Because of her, I don't want to come back here.

I love it here. The games no the movie?s thank you staff Thank you Navy

Grandkids had a blast! First time bowlers. They would not take a digital coupon for cost savings. Indicated it had to be printed which didn't see that when I used the website to sign up grandkids for birthday club. So with kids it was over $12.50 a person for one game.

Enjoyed it. They manager's were very helpful with my refund at the snack bar ??. The young manager lady at the ???? bar was very social and friendly. I will recommend ?? bowling. GO have FUN!

Family appropriate, very laid back but fun for family or friend bowling night. Kids loved the arcade, priced reasonably. Would definitely return!!!

Great dive bar, bowling alley, oldish-school arcade, Laser tag, Pool, darts, food. It's not perfect but customer service is top notch and it's fairly priced. They always give refunds if something is messed up. Not too busy except during league nights. The jumbo sized Jenga in the bar is a lot of fun!!

We had our son's birthday party there earlier today. It was excellent, the server Julian was excellent. They had our lanes and room ready for us when we arrived, he went over the schedule and food drinks with us and everything went off great. All staff was friendly and helpful. Everything went exactly how we wanted/expected it too.

Great place to have a birthday party/ gathering...and the service was phenomenal! Totally loved the vibe.

Great place for family outing and the staff are friendly and very willing to accommodate wherever needed.

We had a great party and lots of fun at Times Square. Excellent hostess and great time bowling, playing lazer tag and playing games.

Arcade inside, can order food and eat there. Bowling was enjoyable

Bowling was enough fun. I had a Mushroom Burger but it was not very good. My husband enjoyed his Turkey Avocado sandwich, though. I'd go back to bowl but not to eat.

It's a nice combination of bowling alley, laser tag, laser tag and billiards. Also, they have a great snack bar. Times Square has a nice cozy feeling, feels like a local place. We had a wonderful birthday here! They were flexible with add- ons. We had a fantastic hostess who did an outstanding job; serving on guests with food and setting up laser tag. We had great food, especially the wings and queso. Also, they have a handful of evening specials. But call in advance to reserve a lane.

Nice place to visit and bowl. Service is good. Prices are good. Good place to bring the family.

The place could definitely benefit from a full building facelift. But the staff is pretty friendly and the prices are good. Just wish they had more current food options.

This is a good place where we can take our children and enjoy

Kids bowl free program is so clutch in this summer heat. Specials on drafts and drinks helps out parents tremendously. Great outing any day of the week!

The best family fun experience in Katy and the surrounding area. (Not even close!!!) Trey and his staff go above and beyond to make the time is valuable and fun. If your going elsewhere you are wasting quality family time and money. THANKS TREY!

My family and I had a good time as we enjoyed the food was hot and tasty, and the drinks were great. It was good Vibes. Also the staff served with hospitality.

Ok. I'm a single father of four. Going out to do literally anything is expensive. I've developed a sensitivity to return-on-investment since I know I'm going to spend $$$ everywhere I go. I accidentally discovered Times Square this past summer, and holy bananas, it's been a blast for me and the boys. We typically took advantage of the Late Night special: $14 for unlimited bowling (shoes free), unlimited arcade, and unlimited laser tag 9:00 to close (midnight). Times Square quickly became our regular Thursda

This will be our new family party venue! We visited Times Square for a casual weekend outing, and were so impressed with the service, atmosphere and value for price that we booked my son's birthday party here. As an alternative to the various popular (overcranked and overpriced) arcade/bowling venues, Times Square is more like an old-fashioned bowling alley than anything you'll find in the big bad city anymore. Reasonable rates, helpful staff, a decent-sized arcade and laser tag room supplement the laid-bac

Shut this place down!! They absolutely have the WORST group of people working there. The customer service was absolutely horrendous! We went through the proper channels of booking a pretty monumental-aged party there and the ladies working the front (I wish I would've got their names because I definitely would call them out), were a joke! Piss poor management and piss poor customer service! They rolled their eyes (mind yall, we were speaking in a calm tone, asking for any sort of graciousness, etc), spoke o

Had a great time. The employees are awesome.

Nice and clean lanes fresh wax. The staff is friendly. Thanks much better and cheaper than main event! I'm

I had my retirement party here and invited about 30 people. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable and helped to make the event fun for everyone. I also have to say that the prices for the activities are not unreasonable. The only complaint I have is that the pizzas could use some revamping- could be MUCH more flavorful and the assorted crusts could be a bit more traditional.

Service is terrible. Ordered scrambled egg. Came out as fried. Sent back to kitchen - what we received back was the same egg chopped up. Despite speaking to 3 different staff including managers not one of them seemed to care, apologise or offer any alternative. The egg went in the bin, our 10yr old went hungry and the afternoon went down the pan. Won't be back!

Very nice place. A lot of Highschoolers come to bowl. It has a very laid back atmosphere. Played pool with my buddies and had a great time. Definitely gonna be a regular place to hang out. Has a nice sports bar as well.

Was so surprised with the food, it was awesome. So fun at company Christmas party.

Megan was so sweet! Had a great time here with the family :)

Fun place for all ages. Could use a good cleaning!

Pro: the barkeep made me a good old fashioned while i waited what I (and my family thought) would be 30 minutes for a lane. No biggie Con: we never got our lane. This was after we had called ahead and asked (which we got an answer of a 15 minute wait) We waited 30 minutes and then were told another 30. This sucked and was disappointing especially for my kids.

My favorite place to bowl in town for sure. They have well maintained lanes, great service and the price is reasonable. Plenty for kids and adults to do and it won't break the bank!

If I could put no stars I would this is the worst place ever. They asked me to leave and they were so rude, the manager was horrible. They sold alcohol to my son without and ID. And they refused to get me a refound. They did not explain why they just refused to. And it was over a 100$

First time visit. I loved it. I know for sure I will be back again and again. I was totally surprised by how good the club sandwich was.

This is the perfect place to bring your friends or family for a good time. The bowling is so much fun and the atmosphere is family friendly. We ordered pizza and appetizers for my son?s birthday get together and it was very good. Food was fresh and the customer service was great! We'll be back again and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Took the youth of our church for Spring Break Fun. We had a awesome time with great customer service and we really enjoyed ourselves.

This place is somewhat dated and could use some freshening up but still had a good time. Decent specials but too expensive for the condition of the facility during prime time pricing.

Clean, fun, nice employees, great place to go for celebrating 9yr old's birthday!

My experience at this place was extremely disappointing. We had children with us, and unfortunately, one of the employees was playing on another lane adjacent to ours. Not only was he playing aggressively, but he also accidentally hit me with his leg while throwing the ball. He wasn't even sorry!! Instead, he responded defensively by implying that pressing charges against him would be futile and warning us about potential harm to the children. We immediately called the manager for assistance, but to our dis

Had a great time with the kids for spring break!

Being a resident of Katy, TX, my friends and I recently had the opportunity to visit Time Square Entertainment for a fun-filled evening of bowling. Let me just say, it was an absolute blast and an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was vibrant and energetic. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had a modern, sleek design that added to the overall atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a great time.

Fun place to go bowling, play video games, pool & laser tag. Full bar available. Fun place to bring the entire family. Much more reasonably priced compared to Main Event.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
