Time-Out Americana Grill

Time-Out Americana Grill

Reviews Summary

Mixed reviews with strong polarization. Many praise friendly staff, good drinks, and fun atmosphere (arcade, pool, mini-golf). Food quality varies—some love wings, burgers, and mac & cheese, while others call it overpriced, poorly cooked, or bland. Service ranges from excellent to rude/inattentive. Criticisms include cold food, disorganization, and hidden fees. Political bias mentioned once. Overall: decent for drinks/activities, but food and service inconsistencies deter some.

Customer Reviews

We took our son to play mini golf, enjoy the arcade and some lunch. We had a great experience, food was amazing and prices were extremely reasonable. We spent over 3 hours there, between the mini golf, lunch and arcade. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back and bringing our friends and their kids

Erica was great and took care of us. I could tell she was very intelligent and super hot too! I'm not from around here, but if I was I would try and date her so hard! The steak sandwich the wings were delicious.

Very small went with grandkids and kids. Took up most of the place. We did play mini golf. We were going to order food put all the tables were reserved. There is a sign they are enlarging the place. That's good.

3 Disgusting burgers, basically just a beef ball on a cheap bun, with barely any fries on the plate. Unacceptable for the prices they charge. Had chili added to one burger and it was barely a spoonful of chili added. Boringly limited selection on the menu. Pizza here is a sad joke at $18 for a personal super thin cracker with sauce and scant toppings. $100 wasted. Never again Edit: To the owner of the account that responds to reviews for this place; You're a rude businessman who can't take criticism or res

One of the worst experiences at a restaurant. Came in and was seated with a chair at the end of the table, which we were fine with, then ordered drinks. We were then told we had to be moved out to the arcade room as they can't have us sit there. Moved to the loud arcade and waited another 10 minutes before the same waitress came back. Had to take our drink orders again. Ordered dinner and then continued to wait at our new noisy table. An hour after ordering and telling them that I had an allergy, they come

We paid a hefty bill of 70 dollars for 3 almost personal sized pizzas and a sandwich (they did disclose the size of the pizzas on the phone so we were aware) they were not good quality. Since I was expecting the size and knew the price I figured they had to be delicious but we were unfortunately very disappointed in how they tasted and quality.

1st time here today. Really good value and nice staff. Burgers and Nachos are a winner.

Cool place to have, service a bit unfriendly until you wait in the right spots then apparently all good

My boyfriend and I came here for a Valentine's weekend date. When we came in I noticed that they were short-staffed and the waitress was trying her best. She was very friendly throughout the whole night. Our drinks were mixed well, and I LOVED the chicken wings with honey BBQ sauce. He said his whisky burger had a load of meat and it was good, but it took away from other tastes in the burger. The crowd was large but I half expected that because Friday nights are "lit" here, I suppose you can say. Overall we

So the food was meh. Overpriced, but not terrible. But the waitress we had was rude, flippant, had attitude after I asked about allergen-specific concerns (because I'm extremely allergic to some things and didn't have an epipen on me so I was a bit paranoid). In addition, she was extremely inattentive and blatantly ignored myself and my dad for most of the time we were there. The hostess seemed nice, but our waitress definitely did not. I do not by any means reccomend this resturant if you have allergies,

I was there Sat night to celebrate my birthday and watch the Celtics game with some friends. The ambiance and restaurant area is lovely. However, the 3 female employees were rude, mean, condescending, and unpleasant from the first 5 minutes I arrived. I heard them make comments about other customers and then they were extremely disrespectful to my friends. The place wasn't not even busy and they acted totally overwhelmed. Erica was not only giving a huge attitude to just do her job of serving people but

Great food, very friendly staff, fantastic service, and clean.

My man wanted to try somewhere new and decided on Time-Out. The food we ordered was good but it was overpriced for the portion sizes, we could have gone anywhere else and gotten more for our money and just as good. Although the waitress was nice we won't be going back.

The place is great. Super friendly staff. Love the different things you can do there. I order a plain cheeseburger and fries. That wasnt great. Overcooked small frozen patty, And I think they let it sit for a while before bringing it out because the burger and fries were almost cold. I will go back again to give them a second chance. The food definitely needs to improve.

Love these ladies working! They are so nice and attentive. It's unfortunate that people like to complain about things the waitresses have no control over. The food is mediocre but the service is top-tier! Would definitely recommend!

This has to be the worst bar in Claremont. Avoid it at all costs. The bartenders and wait staff are openly hostile to the customers. This isn't a case of being understaffed and overwhelmed. it's all about control and abuse. Part of the "entertainment" for the evening was watching the bartenders and wait staff consistently mistreat the incoming patrons. If I were the owner of this establishment, I would seriously consider cleaning house and firing all the bartenders starting with Erica. Not only was the serv

Tried the Jalapeno Popper Pizza special this past Sunday and it was AMAZING!!! Please bring it back often or add it to the Pizza Menu!!! One of the best pizzas that I have ever had!!! Thanks for a great lunch!!! Looking forward to having it again soon, say next Sunday?!

Went there this past weekend to see my siblings for the first time in years since I live in Florida, and honestly, the service, patience of our waitress, and food were all top notch. I'm not too familiar with Keno, as well, and our waitress was more than happy to explain everything and let us take our time. With 8 of us to a table, service was quick and attentive, and I absolutely love the building this restaurant is in. Thank you for making this experience one to remember!

Myself, my husband and my mom were looking for a place to eat on a Sunday. We happened to drive by, and this place looked interesting. SO Glad we did. The food was delicious. My husband had the maple bacon Mac and cheese. He definitely wants more.

Awesome place. Great food and drinks. Lots of tvs, arcades, escape rooms, rage room and mini golf. What else do you need?

This place was discovered on a Sunday afternoon drive. What a great find. The food was absolutely delicious. Try the taco salad. The black bean chili on top was outstanding, best I've had. The slight sweetness added so much. My friend had their special, an aloha burger with whiskey soaked pineapple. Outstanding flavor. Atmosphere friendly, very clean, and an extensive pub-fare menu, especially the burgers and wings. Prices are very reasonable. Worth a try. I was told they recently opened. Good luck to

Great food.. Bourbon chicken is the best mac and cheese I've ever had!!! Service was below average and beer wasn't very cold, but the food made it worth it still.

I placed an order over the phone for pickup, 56.00$. On my way home from picking up the food I had seen a three dollar fee. ?Non cash fee?. I called to verify and to let them know, that no one disclosed this to me. She proceeded to tell me almost all restaurants have this fee and that it is posted all over their restaurant?. Just accept their card machine. The first restaurant I have been to that has this fee. We have been going here for years and will no longer bring our business to them?even for a small f

I ordered dinner last night on the app to pick up. I have Celiac Disease (Cannot have wheat or cross contamination). I have eaten at Time Out many times in the last year because they have gluten free items on their menu. I went in and as always the bartenders are always friendly. I grabbed my food and left. Once i got to my house i opened the box that had wings in it and realized they were breaded. Every time I have ordered from there the Gluten Free wings are non-breaded so I called just to verify before I

It's a nice place to be able to go for a super casual burger. Little ones miss the arcade games but we're interested in trying escape rooms though they are pricey. Looking forward to indoor mini golf. Wings are amazingly crispy. Tons of new things on the menu. Next time I'm trying the noodles, sound great for a winter day. Never ending margarita menu!!!!

Food and drinks are expensive and for a place gearing towards kids entertainment there is alot of foul language and intoxicated adults.

Worst experience ever. Took over an hour to get out food. Two different margaritas were ordered, both tasted awful. Not sure what your using for alcohol but tequila was not in either of those. They didn't offer to put salt or anything on the rim, yet the table next to us got salt on theirs. The food came out cold!! Ice cold, the steak and cheese that came out was supposed to have peppers, it had 1 that was half of a sliver. The waitress argued with us about one of the orders, she said their was no spice but

Love the arcade for kids while mom and dad have a beer and snacks.

Never been here before. Says they close at 6 so we went to order (it's 5:09 at the time of ordering), unfortunately, we were told it's ?too close to closing time.? Sorry whenever I work at any restaurant we've always served until close. If a customer orders something at 8:59 and we close at 9, we will still put the order through because we aren't closed at 8:59, we're closed at 9. And every [restaurant] I've worked at (3) especially when someone orders an hour in advance, would?ve been horrified if I turned

so i took the family here for our first time having lived in springfield for 10 years and not even knowing about this place!. The food was pretty good. the atmosphere was decent. loads of screens to look at cool decor. Waitress was decent, the place was packed so we ended up waiting about 1 and a half hour before getting our food which was a little excessive IMO, but considering how many people were there, its understandable, i was given a 10% discount for my inconvenience. I only have 2 minor complaint's

One of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had.......it took nearly 20 min just to get drinks delivered to our table, nearly every drink on the menu ordered was 'out'. Our food came out 45 min after ordering, appetizers and main dishes at the same time, cold, some dishes with melted plastic marinara cups and any time we needed our waitress we had to find her and ask or call her over for her assistance. She never asked how anything was or checked on our table. The two bills came after asking with it

The game aspect is fun but not great. The food is DISGUSTING all capital letters. The waitress had horrible waiting skills and it took 2 hrs to get 4 plates

The Veggie Monster burger starts with a beef patty. Beware. The "Bucket of Fries" is a small plate. Don't be surprised when your order comes out and doesn't meet expectations.

Perfect place for date night / family night/ drinks with the ladies/ whatever you want/need!! We love this place and plan to continue going back! Also love all that they do for the community and the fact they always seem to treat all their staff with utmost respect. 10/10 recommend in this family!!!!

Recently tried this place and it is insulting to call it food when i order a burger and fries and get served a charcoal briquette on 2 buns, fries were dry and bland but atleast edible. I ordered a beer and i could taste more soap than beer. Service was very unwelcoming. The atmosphere, this place suffers from an identity crisis on a grand scale, like what is the theme? Biker bar? Pirate? Or maybe circus.

They have great options for wings. They have either boneless or meatless, because they were cooked to extinction. Cheeseless blue cheese, it's just the goo with essence of blue. A tray of wings without anything else. They put more effort into their wipeboard advising guests to have low standards or leave and come back when those standards are lower. Thank goodness for them there aren't many options locally. Nothing like being served by someone still thinking masks serve a purpose... maybe the lack of oxygen

I really LOVED the food. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was welcoming and laid back. I would recommend going!

Actually went to Blackbeard's Cove Adventure Golf but when done, figured might as well have dinner. I had heard a lot of good things but never been there. The steak and mushroom mac-n-cheese was delicious. My son had a Plain Jane cheeseburger and now says he never wants McDonald's burgers again. Absolutely delicious and there was a sign explaining there was only 2 people working the front, when they brought the food out, I was very impressed how fast (maybe 10 minutes).

This place ok. Food is nothing great, breaded chicken wings - Yuck - but drinks are good, they have 2 pool tables and the atmosphere is cool. Out door seating as well with heaters when needed. They have a separate business next door called Blackbeards Cove - indoor blacklight mini golf. They really should move their wacky waving inflatable arm pirate from the entrance, which is also where people dine for their restaurant. Very obnoxious when trying to dine outdoors with that super loud fan.

I will not be returning to this establishment. I've visited a few times in the last few months. Each time I have found things floating in the draft beer. On my last visit I found a large chunk of mold about the size of two peas stuck together. Tried to tell the owner. He was dismissive and seemed not worried about the problem. He kept telling me to raise the issue with the manager. Unacceptable in my eyes. ?-Editing as a response. Yes I was disappointed in the way you handled my initial complaint. As it was

Awesome place. Great food, Service and reasonably priced. Family friendly, lots to do. Our go to spot.

We were there today for a drink and a few rounds of pool for Father's Day. Had an appetizer which came out quickly and drinks that were delicious and refreshing (they even accommodated my pregnancy by making me a mocktail ?? thank you Sheila!) These folks always work hard even when they are straight out!

Great selection of american style bar food. Usually get burger and fries, this week taco salads were on special. Enjoyed it very much. Love the laid back atmosphere here and with both indoor and outdoor seating available, it makes a great stop on rainy and sunny days too.

this is an awesome restaurant & mini golf experience. staff if excellent ?? thank you we'll be back for sure.

Took my family here to eat. Food was good but overpriced. Service was great. Partway through our meal someone representing security or a bouncer came to our table while we were eating and advised us that we weren't allowed to be there past 8 or 9 o'clock (I don't remember) because our youngest child was under 18. I was appalled that we were being harassed while trying to enjoy a meal and had to gulp our food down and leave. We did not feel welcomed there after that and will not be returning unless I get an

We had the Ramen noodle bowl with chicken which was super delicious and a cheese burger with tater tots. Good place to bring your kids ar a group of friends.

Service is not the best here. Takes forever to get your order or for them to even come take your order. Food is meh. I will say the soft pretzel was delicious but other than that the rest of our order wasn't that great. Waitstaff seems nice but not very attentive at all.

Great place for the family fun games and the adults can have drinks dinner play pool while the kids I enjoy mini golf. So much fun

Go here if you want to raise an actual issue and be personally attacked if you write a bad review. The issue had been raised with the manager twice. No resolution. Sorry I thought the owner would care and address the actual issue instead of personal attacks. Great work! Yes you as the owner were very dismissive. If you Walking away as I was trying to have a conversation about it is me throwing a fit I guess your right. As far as berating staff is a complete and utter lie. They were always so friendly, joked

Went for a birthday celebration with a large group of ladies. The waitress was attentive to our table, remembering each name and order with ease. The wings were delish, crispy and soaked in honey barbecue sauce. It was a fun celebration!

Went to a work function and the "taco bar" was subpar- no vegetarian option, no beans, only ground beef... no chicken? Just afew toppings. Sad. Very cool atmosphere, though!

Took over an hour to get 2 burgers, wasn't even that busy. Bartender seemed to ignore us after we placed our meal order.

Wings were fried to the bone...as in...no meat left. Service was not pleasant nor remotely timely(guess that's why they have a large whiteboard basically stating "we're big and slow and if ya don't like it, go F off somewhere else") And they wear masks. Need I say more? Owner just replied with complete rudeness and utter disregard for the truths stated. Additionally, they completely ignored that the food was bones, no meat. Wasted money and time. And yes, the whiteboard message is just what I shared.

Waitress was great! That's all. From the dark parking lot to the, messed up order, to my whiskey in a tall glass with a zippy straw, to the burger that I couldn't finish. The burger left my body 20 minutes after we left. My girlfriend was pumped to find the Cowboys on the projector screen, only to find out later it was a game from the week before????

Delicious different kinds of Mac and cheese. Cannot get enough of the steak and mushroom Mac

Amazing food and fun atmosphere!

This place is awesome. Great service, fun place. I was disappointed in the clam strip meal- they were tiny little nuggets and not at all what their photo showed in menu. That being said, will def go back and get something different. Almost 5 star but had to do 4 bc of the clam strips.

Always great food options, plenty of drink options ss well with plenty of options on tap and not to mention if you have time there's a mini golf course attached or you can schedule to do a escape room if you aren't already there for that

Not only is the food great, the staff is awesome! Prices mor than fair! As to the person who said the owner is a "cheap skate" you have no clue! These folks do so much for our community! Every thanksgiving and christmas the put on the most wonderful meal for thw poor and needy. At no cost! We need more folks like this in the world!

If you go to a bar like this for a gourmet meal then it's your own fault if you aren't blown away by a fine dining experience. Great bar with bar level food, great club, great function space, great entertainment options all provided by a family run business.

Definitely not a 4 star sports bar, I was there during a Patriots playoff game. There was like 8 people there and it was slowly turning into a dance club w/dj. Wings were not very good. Pool tables looked nice, but overall not what I was expecting.

So I stopped in this place and ordered a beer and the bartender asked if I wanted a pint or 22 oz. I said 22. So she returns with a 22 oz glass filled about 2 inches from the top. I saw there was a line on the glass marking 0.5L. For those of you folks not familiar with the metric system, 0.5L = 16.9 oz. Cheapskate owner I'm guessing. Bartender was nice, though.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday Saturday South ordered a food at the bar which was no big deal. Atmosphere was nice and the food was good. The bartender / waitress was awesome and the owner came out and gave us a free glass

The atmosphere was pleasant but the food was horrible. They were out of a lot of the beer listed and seemed very disorganized. I'm local and was looking for something different and was very disappointed.

Bar is almost always empty, even on Saturday nights. If your looking for a night out with just your friend it's great because you'll have the pool tables to yourself. But do not expect to meet many people.

Margarita deal was on point! Cool place to hang out. Wish I lived closer I would hang here all the time. Food quality was reflected by the price. Still pretty good!

awesome food. Lots to choose from. Comfort food, big burgers, seafood, sides, desserts, and more. Ok prices. The pic is a mix of a few things. Steak n mushroom mac n cheese, chili cheese tatchos, garlic parm tenders, and buillit bourbon wings

Wasn't bad, wasn't great. The rodeo chicken sandwich special left much to be wanted. The billiards table, not the food, seemed to be what the locals were there for. Cool atmosphere though.

Great place for the whole family or with friends. Lots to do. The escape rooms are a lot of fun and if you haven't tried you should change that.

Super great place to eat. Family oriented, we will most definitely drive back down from central Vermont

Very nice place I love their chicken tenders I felt bad cuz there was only one waitress on doing the bar and waiting tables but she was amazing I can't believe she did so much being all by herself we never had to wait for drinks or anything... Only issue I find with this place is in the wintertime you're parked at the bottom of the hill I'm lucky that I had a designated driver go get the car or I would have been sledding

I was planning house hunting trip to the area and was looking for a good burger place. As I was checking the review I noticed they held a leftist senator Jeannie Sheehan get together. Never mind I'll spend my hard earned money some where else.

Foods good an they have a bar and mini golf is awesome. And there's a escape room.

Great place, employees, food and drink.

The servers are always friendly and service is unbelievable as far the food I can't say I've ever had a bad experience. 10/10 can't recommend enough

Worst meal and worst money ive spent at a restaurant. Waitress was lacking. Food had no effort put into it, just thrown on a plate. Portions were small, beef seemed to be over processed. For what was offered,i could of cooked it at home. 40 bucks gone .

Excellent food and lots to do. Bringvthe kids. The Ramen is better than you would ever expect.

It was a great place to eat after getting out of the races.. staff was friendly. Food was good

I always have a good time here. Food is always good and the beer on tap is great. Love the Shock Top! Free pool on Sunday. Friendly Staff.

Rude, rude, and unprofessional. The food was disgusting. I had went there for a company gathering, the food they served was cold, overly salty.....as a smoker i love salt but the food was unedible even for me... My husband tried a bite of his dish and then discarded it.....we went and ate at home. I will NEVER eat there again nor would I ever suggest that place to anyone. My suggestion to the owners....Close it down and do something else that doesn't involve food...

Great place food was fantastic

Awesome local joint with great owners! The burgers and fries are delicious! It's a little hard to find if you don't know the area but it's worth looking for.

I never write reviews but I'm writing this in hopes that the owner reads this, amazing service, great food, love gathering with co workers for a beer and some great food, my only gripe is when your sitting outside when it's busy and your pushed further down towards the mini golf side, the big inflatable arm man they have set up is obnoxious and makes it next to impossible to talk with the person next to you, other then that great solid place to stop

Such a good place to hang with friends. We usually play the boardgames but there's also pool tables. Bar food that's top notch!

Love our waitress and the atmosphere. Everything we ordered was fast and delicious

Some of the best service around. The staff are amazing, and it's a great spot to chill with snacks and friends!

Food looked good. Already ate. Will try food next time. Friendly service. Good drinks.

Fish and chips. 2 out of 10. Fish is frozen, fries wee good. Nice draft beer selection. Will go again and try more on menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
