Went here with some friends while killing time before a movie night. We had a great time. All the machines we played worked the first time around, I put 50 on my card and had a great time. We even won a prize for our friend's baby. We played on the bumper cars, the neon mini golf course and won a bunch of tickets on the group play games. I look forward to coming back and playing the laser tag.
We threw our son?s 5th birthday party here, and it was such an amazing experience, I cannot recommend it enough! Our party was the first party Tilt hosted where they had dedicated party hosts, and they did such an amazing job! All parents know how hectic a kids party can be, but they kept it organized, on schedule, and fun the entire time! It took so much stress off of me knowing that they were managing all the details! Josh was wonderful with the kids, I believe he's the manager, Ricky and Diana who I beli
My children and I had a very poor experience at Tilt. We were watched the whole time and I say this because the female workers would peek at us from time to time and passed by us several times while we were there. Plus we were approached by 2 different female employees and were told one too many things during our visit. The first female employee approached my children, while I was a couple feet away from them, and asked if my children had a card to use to pay for games, which they did. She then stated they
Thank you to Anthony for being so helpful. Great manager, you represent well. The prize got stuck, and he got it out for us.
Took my grandson today. All of the games were working and everything was very clean. We will definitely be back.
We took our two grandkids thinking it would be a great way to play and have fun. Four out of five games were broken. While we were trying to get our money back, another customer complained about another game being broken. When I requested my money back we were told that was not possible. They had to have the chance to fix the issues. When we arrived there were only two employees. So fixing the issues in a timely manner was simply a non starter. They refused to refund our money. We will never choose to sp
So, I brought my two kids here for a fun afternoon and I was stunned when I went to buy a game card. They were $30 a piece for 150 tokens, which seems like a good deal. However, each game costs between 7 and 12+ tokens each!!!! This is totally ridiculous! That's like maybe 15 plays for $30! SO OVER PRICED! We will NEVER go there again!
Put $200 on cards for kids to play 5 of the first 6 games we tried were broken. They refused to give a refund. Major rip off 10/10 do not recommend.
Getting down right to the good and bad no whining or complaining here's the pros and cons, Yes the games are way overpriced compared to dave n busters or main event so if you want an arcade experience with reasonable prices this isn't it. They advertise night after 5 play for double points on Mondays but read the fine print the doubled coins disappear at the end of the night so use them all. Now I will say this place does have different games and even rides for kids you won't see at those other places even
Went specifically to ?play games? for my sons birthday, I brought his cake with us to celebrate and eat elsewhere after we were done with games they told us the cake wasn't even allowed in the building without booking a party even though we were only there to play games! I just wanted to leave it on a table while we played . The staff which was 3 ladies all different ages was probably the worst group of staff I've ever encountered there . They complained about everything we did we hardly were able to enj
Cute new arcade place to town. Love the concept. It's bright and fun appearing. The day we went they did not have specials. The workers did not seem like they were there to work. Almost as if a bother when asked a question. The games are pretty pricey. Considering if you buy a card for $20 with 100 ?points/credits? but each game cost 11/12 ?points/credits? And that's the basic game. They did have a small fun ride for smaller children in the middle. That ride was 22 ?points/credits?. There is also a miniatur
So my wife was using the bathroom while I entertained my 2yo son w a bball hoop. Was told by a brunette w short hair telling me to stop. I said no problem to which she got rude and called me a fool. Then threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. Mind u my wife is using the bathroom. Useless Karen of a young person needs to be fired. Rudest person I've met in a long time. She also refuses to tell me her name and no identifying name tag. Poor way to be in the child entertainment business. I'll be follo
Decided to take my kids there for some fun...spent 80.00 and that lasted about 10 minutes. Games are way over priced, and all the claw machines seemed rigged. Asked a lady for help cause one of the games showed I had a credit, but had an error which would not allow me to play. She seemed bothered that I asked her for help in the 1st place. Was not impressed do not waste your money to come out with a few trinkets you could easily buy at the Dollar Tree. My kids who are older said they would have had more fun
Tilt Studio, PARTY PACKAGE WARNING: I typically don't care to be so public with my grievances, but I just wanted to put this out there for the next mom so I can maybe help her avoid this sad situation. There was no point in booking a party as a birthday package. It was a waste of money and it made me miss almost all of my son?s 6th birthday party. When I arrived the day of the party, I was told that I did not have a host, even though the website states that I would. I wasn't prepared to plan the flow of the
Worst service, asking kids to leave a completely empty seating area because they had a snack from another place. Just spent $300 on 3 cards, and there all empty in under an hour. I'm blessed, and I can't afford this, no telling how other people would. It will be Main Event from here on. Then won't even let the kids eat their snack, in their designated eating area. Would never run a business like this, and I own several.
Went to Tilt not knowing what to expect and loved it. We were a bit overwhelmed at first just because there were so many options and things to play with... but once we were comfy with the layout we had a blast and we are both in our thirties. It was also SUPER clean-- which is one of the reasons I'd usually never frequent a place . Once we figured out the lay of the land and played a few games, we also figured out that **some** games will give you lots of tickets and others not so much... but some were jus
Not very good customer service. They refused to honor their posted sign for free game of laser tag when purchasing a $50 card. They rely on repeat business- would rather take my business to Main Event down the road in the future. Lost my business over $7.00 when I asked to speak to a manager to hopefully resolve the situation she had a very negative attitude. A place like this should WOW you with customer service- especially on a Saturday night. All the workers were huddled up together just talking. I used
Waco trip for the weekend, tried to go to Tilt for some fun for my son and website said it opens at 10, and it's now 10:40 and it's still not open!!! Tried calling but automated says they are busy jal?n g other customers, try and a joke!! Lights are on but no one is there!! Thanks for nothing!!!
My kids had a blast at it. Also, the customer service was awesome. 1 game didn't give 1 of my kids any points so they added the points back onto the card.
Two reviews: 1. The facility is big and new. Expensive but my boys had fun and I'm glad that a big arcade is back in Waco. 2. I am a working mom of 3 boys. I brought my two older boys here for an hour and spent $80.00 for the boys to play. Per usual, I had my laptop with me so I could work while the boys played. I take my laptop to other child play facilities such as urban air with no issue. The cafe was not open for food, but I sat down to use the table to work. Management came over and told me to leave
This place is super overpriced .. be careful you can easily spend $150 and come out with little to nothing.. don't give young kids free roam if the card because some of the simple claw games can be 15 credits which is probably 3 dollars or so and goes fast.. the virtual reality is 25 credits for the motorcycle game.. you can pick up 150 credits for $30 but they go very fast .. if a machine has an issue to may have to stand there 10-15 minutes for some help.. if you have going kids go to Chuck e cheese and p
Not worth the money we spent, expensive and the games require way to many points so we only got to play a few things, one of the virtual reality rides they had wasn't calibrated right and was 12 points that we lost, another game my daughter won 200tickets but it didn't put it on her card and the workers acted like we were lying about it and were rude and seemed like they didn't want to even bother helping. Just about every claw machine( which is what at least half the games they have are) the claws are weak
The one star review is too much for this company, I would rate this company -5 stars if I could. I bought the $49.99 package where they promise 1 hour of playing time but their machines kept asking (robbing) us to swipe the card every 2 minutes. This company will not last long in Waco since not ALL families can afford their prices. It's sad to have this type of company in Waco using your kids/family for their actions. This company is all about taking your money rather than you having fun with your famil
It's slow on Sunday and their staffs even slower, me and my son had to wait 30min+ for them to give me another VIP card.
It's expensive as they use the point system for their cards charging for the card as well. The points system ensures you always have money left over on the card. The prices are high priced to ensure a higher profit.one item was what I estimate over 30% profit. If you play for prizes you will lose but if you play for fun why to rackup free prizes
Took our 2 small boys here on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy at all but the employees were very rude and seemed to make sure that nobody was going to enjoy themselves at all. Don't waste your time or money.
Web site completely misleading. Made special trip 40 miles and the 5 yo could not play any the activities as advertised, no laser tag, no bumper cars. What a disappointment! NEVER AGAIN!!!
I recently had my child birthday party there .the arm band to hold their card was cool idea . Just wish the card had more credit on it . The customer service was cool .
There are several claw machines. A mini roller coaster. These are the prizes..
My son 6 year old love this place more games then chuckie Cheese get to win a lot of points and get cool prizes love the point machine when you grab the point rolls really helps out to earn a lot of points chuckie cheese could never lol
When did having fun start costing so much... I remember arcades used to cost 25 cents a piece.. now the ones you have cost between $1.25 and $8.00
Games cost way more points than they should and just like every arcade, you hardly get anything for your tickets. Lots of games were off or not working.
Clean and tidy, a nice selection of arcade games. They have lots of shooting games, so if you are into shooting zombies you will like this place. That all being said, their games are a little expensive.
The games are fun and staff are helpful and polite but the prices for what you get are a little steep
This place sucks. Most of the games are claw machines that don't actually grab anything. The free five dollar voucher is too complicated to actually turn in (not to mention the ten minute timer that counts down), and the games that are actually enjoyable are way too expensive. 0/10, wouldn't recommend.
It's fun there and bought me and my husband play cards. We had a blast. I'll be coming back to play more games.
Cool looking place the kids were so excited when we walked in! BUT went through $150 in 10 minutes so definitely not worth it! (3 kids $50 each)
This Actually Brings A Smile to my Face. Seeing This Name Stick A Round For So Long. It was Just A Little Spot in our Mall ever Since I was A kid.... Now To see it today ?? pretty cool Spot to be.
I did wanna come here for a birthday is this place or main event but these reviews and the ratings are bad might be having a birthday at main event instead this place seems awesome ! But it sounds like it's over priced and the service is bad
The best part about this place is they have little kid sized versions of the normal games you find, like air hockey, basketball toss, etc.... The worst part, besides the price of each game, is there are literally no arcade games like crossy road, etc
Great place to have fun, tho some machines don't work but accept your coins
It's so nice to finally have a clean arcade in Waco, but this one is frustrating. I spent THIRTY DOLLARS and didn't win anything on the claw machines! I want my money back.
Better than chuckie cheeses, new spacious fair prices, lots to do convenient that it's inside mall. Could be better staffed and cleaned
Apparently the claw machines are just suppose to hover over the top of the toys and grab not actually go around it and lower and then grab lol waste of 30 points when we actually had a good position of the toy it stopped going all the way down and grabbed at the very top of toy ???????
A great time tonight. We enjoyed playing games and activities. Would recommend.
The prices are expensive and the machines don't work when you use your card overall bad experience ??
Glad Tilt is back! Great gameroom with awesome monthly specials. Employees are always friendly and helpful.
Terrible management. My 13 CHILD was told to leave for looking for her ipods that she lost there while I went next door to get a drink.
Too expensive!!!! I spent 20.00 and my kids got to only play 3 games.
Family had a great time and really wasn't all that expensive surprisingly. Definitely recommend
Great place for kids
Google says it's closes at 6 on Friday, called 6x because I didn't think that was right-with no answer so drove up and played and I swear not a single employee was happy to be here.
I hate this place I paid $20 only to play about 4 games with all the lights and sound they make it so you can't think never come here
This place is just amazing. Fun for both yourh and adults.
Fun place for the kids. But it sure is expensive
Bast place to play some games and have birthday partys
Loved it! So much better since the upgrade!!
Great fun with the kids and affordable prices.
smelly, rude employees, poorly maintained
Had a great time with my daughter
Love taking my family here
Love the large space and variety of games!
Lots to do. A fun experience.
Outrageously overpriced and not worth the money.
Expensive not reasonable what so ever.
Lots of games, reminds me of when I was a teen
Pricy but slot to do
Fun place for the whole family

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
